I came across this interesting "Write-Up" by an entertainment media. It says :
"Looking around, the current young actors in ancient costume dramas have already shown a general trend of "Factory-Like Style". They can even get together to perform a show of "factory male stars 101".
He says this "Trend" started 10 years ago. He went on to criticise quite a number of Popular Actors, with accompanying photos of their drama-scenes as proofs. All the current crop of popular actors, with two from 10 years ago, were mentioned. To avoid problems, I shall Not Name Them here.
But then, he went on to say that Deng Wei "Is An Exception". He says :

I like Deng Wei for who he is. Of course, his acting that caught my attention first. Then, he made me awe with his principles. Being bold is one of them. 😉
Frankly, I miss his smile. His recent photoshoots are good but no smile. If I want to see his smile, I had to rewatch LYF, his Monster Boy photos/videos, videos from his previous appearances (he used to smile more during those events...) or BTS clips from his previous works.
Sometimes, I wish he smiles a bit more. Or perhaps, I miss them ? Lately, just too tied up to be online, I mean for leisure. 🤦🏽♂️

I admit that I do have a Tu Shan Jing filter for him. I have a preference for him.
To be honest, as a Book Fan of Tu Shan Jing, initially I had certainly hoped that a Traffic Star with some Fame, will play Tu Shan Jing.
It is normal for capital to trim the role of a character based on the "traffic and status of the actor". Because "Traffic" itself, is Capital.
How much influence do actors have on their roles?
Let us take "Love Of The Divine Tree" for an example. There are not many fans of the Original Book. It is not a Hot IP. But because of Deng Wei's popularity, "Su Yi Shui's character role" has remained "High" on the list of dramas to be broadcast. This is the blessing of "traffic actors" on the role.
So, you can imagine how much traffic-blessing, Tan Jian Ci has given to "Xiang Liu (Lost You Forever) ? His number of fans have risen to more than 10 Millions just between the official announcement of the commencement of filming for "LYF", and the broadcast of the 1st Season of "LYF".
Moreover, Liu Fan Tou joined his fan club after the official announcement of the start of filming. The two sides joined forces and took the lead in the publicity positions of major platforms in all aspects, to promote the character - "Xiang Liu".

On October 1, Sichuan Drills' "Meet "易" ("Yi" as from Su Yi Shui) Face" event was successfully launched. The first battle (day) was a success and ended successfully!
The enthusiasm of the drill sisters and the active interaction of passers-by pushed the event to a climax. The number of reservations for Xiaoshu was 600+! Wonderful performances on site, a wide variety of small gifts and rich activities for everyone to participate in the interaction. I love Deng Wei's Performance. Every scene of his is so "Online". His "Lines-Delivery" too.
He was overpowered by an "Evil Spirit" when he "removed" Mu Qingge's "Spiritual Lifeline." He looks so "Wicked & Naughty" at that moment. And then Broken-Hearted when he awakens.
I saw a BTS clip Ran Ran (Julia Xiang) died. While the makeup artist was re-touching Deng Wei’s makeup for the next scene, he slowly got into his character. When he was demonstrating his sorrowful acts, Julia who was looking sadly at him.
For the real scene filming, the BTS was taken from far, but it was clear that Deng Wei was in tears while cradling Ran Ran on his lap. Then “Cut! “. But, Deng Wei kept crying, he looked up as if trying to stop his tears. Julia Xiang slowly rose up. Deng Wei was still sobbing, spontaneously hugged her. 1) I have been doing "Spring-Cleanings" on the Older Pages of this Forum. Just did till Page 29. Removing weibo and twitter clips which no longer work.
2) I just started reading the Novel of "Love Of The Divine Tree". I am up to Chapter 10 only.
3) Tattoos : I never read about the other actors. Past few days, I did some "browings". Discovered that quite a few of them had "Tattoos" too. One of them is quite recent. But nobody paid any attentions. Or raised any objections to them. A lot of them, even actresses, smoke too. But nobody tried to take "Pictures" of them doing it - to "Fire Up The Public's Indignations". The "Power" of "Anti's".
Deng Wei's tattoos were done when he was "Young" & "Innocent". A phase which most of use had went through too. So it is quite acceptable.
4) I am glad Deng Wei's last Personal Assistant left. Deng Wei had so much problems when he was around. And, for a while after he left.
5) The Anti's are busy "Doctoring" and circulating Deng Wei's clips and photos from the just ended DIOR Paris Fashion Week. They are "Jealous" of his success. But I am no longer interested in them. Because we Know The Truth. Just mention it to keep you all informed.

Last week, there was a product launch for a Chinese cosmetic brand, Perfect Diary. The Brand Ambassador, Michieda Shunsuke, is my favorite Japanese idol/actor.
I just realized that he looks similar to Deng Wei, perhaps Deng Wei in his younger days. His height is 180cm, shorter by 3 cm but perhaps still growing, he is 23 years old ( I heard guys stop growing at 25… ). Mmm… Now, I think I know a little bit more about myself. Hehehe...
By the way, I hope one day, Perfect Diary will welcome Deng Wei too. Deng Wei's unique oriental looks, is just perfect for a China's own cosmetics brand, right?

Actually TJC had not officially sued Deng Wei's fans. It was more like a warning letter, not official submission of a lawsuit.
And yes on suppression of Tushan Jing on LYF S2! They removed so much of TSJ's meaningful scenes and redistributed his scenes and lines to other characters. But nobody can stop Deng wei's TSJ from shining brightly!
On weibo's summer drama chart for discussion volume, Tushan Jing won out the number 2 spot of Xiangliu by nearly double of his total! 1.5亿 vs 7414万! After spending all that money and effort, I guess thats why some people can't 'stay still' and are shaking in rage... We have to protect our Deng wei!

He is the kind of person who tries to wear a Facial Mask if he can. He only takes it out when he is not allowed to. Or when it is inappropriate.
For this Fashion Week, he took the initiative to fight for wearing a Facial Mask. "I can just wear a mask, and take it off when I am nearby.".
It was agreed and he wore it. He only removed it when he was about to enter the venue, as agreed.
This is a Proper Protective Action.
Deng Wei is a very Health Conscious Person. Guess he has been taught to do so from young. He carries "Dental Floss" with him wherever he goes.
So there is no need to make up stories to soil his Reputation and Popularity.

Pure: pure pronunciation
Clear: clear pronunciation (cannot swallow words and sounds)
Far: the sound can be transmitted far (volume has requirements)
Beauty: it is not the pursuit of beautiful and pleasant sound, but in line with the role, can accurately convey the character's thoughts, emotions, and feelings
Endurance: the sound is stable and lasting
Deep: deeply express the character's emotions (the focus is on expressing them on the basis of deep understanding and feeling)

There is a CDrama Fanpage. The owner describes her work as "Digital Creator" ... as if ... She never create anything, right? Hahaha... Anyway, she wrote a wrong info about an actress. Someone politely corrected the info. She bashed the comment. Her words were rude. Later, I found out that she belittled Deng Wei. I reported the page. It was a hassle ... The page is gone ... It was worth it.
2) Deng Wei made his choice, and I just respect him.

It was written ‘fruit juice’, and so I thought it was mix of carbonated sparkling water + strawberry juice + grape juice. My guess is, if I drink alcohol, I will fall asleep. Danger, right?
