No. If you read the article, it's the only thing NOT confirmed. Once they got the name, they'll be squared away~

Move over Wondergirls, YG Entertainment will debut a 5 girl group
With speculation that there will be 3-4-5 members in the new girl version of Big Bang debuting, YG Entertainment has announced 5 members: Park Bom, Sandara Park, CL, Kong Min-ji and…..the fifth member is (?)
Park Bom (top right), we know from her Anycall days with Lee Hyori and Lee Joongi, Sandara Park (lower right) is a singer/actress from the Philippines, and known as “Philippine’s BoA,” rapper CL (top left) speaks 4 languages including English, French, Japanese and Kong Min-ji (bottom left) has a background in dance. For the fifth member, YG will be releasing more information when the group debuts.
Already, the girls are in the studio working on their debut album for release in April 2009. And Big Bang’s G-Dragon will play producer, so we’ll hear more “crack, crack, crack” from the girls.
As for the group name, “Sista” has been floating around, but YG Entertainment has stated that the name has yet to be determined.
What do you think would be a good name? Girls Girls? Wonder Generation? Big Bang Girls?

errrrh. I don't think the single will be called madness because so far EVERYTHING that was in the rumors turned out to be false. There was already rumors way back in October that the single would be called Madness so idk ;x

So likeee I'm totally late and wasn't here for her thread's opening
but just dropping by to say WOOHOO the girl has finally debuted! I wish she stayed in YG.. but I'm not gonna dwell on that. Just watched her MV and I'm.. well I think I can learn to like it. It's not that I dislike the song, just one of those songs I'd have to listen to for a while to learn to like it
& it's not the voice I'm used to. Sounds like they altered her voice a bit (WHY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!?!?!?!?!?!). She looks soo purrrty though MUST GO LISTEN TO OTHER SONGS NOW!! Username: Poop-Shoop-A-Loop

Why do I love May Doni: She's young with so many capabilities. She ooozes talent. I believe .. that no matter where she goes in life, in the end she'll definitely succeed because she possesses that much talent. You simply can't ignore it. I 've got a complete girl crush on her, haha<3

I'm too lazy to look for photos right now but I think Daesung had some pretty embarrassing moments.. haha.
Like last year's Special stage with Haha - when the boys were aposed to be feeling on Maknae.. Daesung accidentally went to the wrong spot cause he wasn't looking (he was rubbing Maknaes you know whut. lol)
And the other one was on Star King where this super strong boy picked Daesung up and Daesung was in complete freak out mode, desperately trying to hold onto something and ended up grabbing the guy's crotch a few times :x
Also in Big Bang's documentary, when all the boys tried to be spontaneous during their dance practice and were going crazy taking off their shirts, Daesung got stuck in his wife beater LOL
He has such funny moments tehehehe

Oh and I renember for Taeyang, when he did the opening act for Alicia Keys.. when he was doing his interlude part of Look At Me Only the hat popped off his head, he couldn't get on his vest properly .. and then in the end his pants got unzipped; he was basically 'hanging out' but he couldn't do anything about it until the end of the perf. He had to turn around and zip up his pants when his performance ended. I was so embarrassed for him, poor baby T_T <3

I watched it the day SARS Fansubs released their subbed version. It wasn't as great as I anticipated it.. XD I think it's cause I already knew what was going to happen.. haha. And I seemed to enjoy the LJ synopsis more ^^;;;;

And if they're gonna add someone, I think they should add someone that's younger.. like 20-22ish to fulfill the huge age gap 14, 18, ______, 24, 25. Well actually I don't really mind the age gap.. I've gotten used to it.. I dont think much of it anymore lol. Talent is what's important - and they work well together. Pluss the unnies soooo do not look their age hehe.
@ kiemberly; I personally think they WILL live up to the hype cause we've already seen what they can do. It's just up to G-Dragon and whoever else to showcase it well. And let's see if YG's promotion skills has brushed up =P But my 2 concerns are whether or not Sandara has improved, and if the 5th member will benefit the group at all. As much as I love Sandara, her talents aren't as up there as the other three.. or isn't as "brushed up" as theirs. Back in May YG said so himself that her singing was just "okay" and in comparison with the other girls she had a LOT of work to do.. but that was SEVERAL months ago.. so I'll assume she has improved.. but by how much? I wish YG would release some singing videos on her to ease people's doubts. Like when he released the dancing video with her in it.. the improvement in her dancing skills impressed a LOT of people
And I think YG has a lot of hidden trainees lol XD he just doesn't reveal them until it's almost time for their debut. Like Big Bang .. XD bam~!! he suddenly reveals 4 unheard of trainees.. xP (Daesung, Seungri, HyunSeung, TOP). I heard a background voice in CL's So Sick video and I think it's a hidden trainee xP it was a guy's voice : ) (and I thought YG ran out of all his guy traineess lol xD) Plus, have you seen their YG family field day? there were sooooo many youngins there so it can't possibly have been the staff.. I think most could have been trainees XD

It would make more sense if they banned him for the sexual content in the song but errr yeahhhhh, lol. As dumb as the reason is, I hope YG won't be stubborn and just tweak that part a little bit 'cause I want to see SeungRi perform on KBS!! ^^;;;

I heard their group name was going to be Sista?

I'll just give a short summary of what I could understand.
It basically says that the group name, Sista, isn't their final name, but many
people/fans are thinking it's going to be Sista and that there may not be 4
members in the group. It may be just three members(Park Bom, CL, & Gong
MinJi) or even 5 members.. YG is still deciding but many fans think that their
group name will be Sista.
You may already know that G-Dragon and others will be making their music.
Wow I find that.. odd? lol. Cause YG already said Sandara was FOR SURE in (back in October) - that there will be 4 member, MAYBE 5. And the newest article says there will be 5 - they just don't know who the 5th member is yet.. so it's weird that they might go back to 3 members. what?
?? hmmmm, will check that out. The other articles seem more plausible though because they directly quote YG himself (it'd be much more simple if YG himself would just make a freaking announcement T__T), while this article seems to be more speculation?

Yes there is from when she was in the Philippines - but recent ones to show her improvement? No. If YG is gonna push back their debut date, he better at least release some vids at least xD. I'm really curious about Sandara's improvement.

theres this friend of mine who's really blunt and mean in a completely nonteasing way (so very rarely does he ever say something nice).
he is also extremely picky. it richard simmons me off sometimes , lol. and i was like "omg! why are you so damn picky! nothing ever satisfies you!"

YG Entertainment let us in to more of their new female group set to debut next year.
We have already seen the different images of the girls groups by different companies - JYP Entertainment with their 5-member group WonderGirls, SM Entertainment with their 9-member group So Nyeo Shi Dae.
So what about the female group of YG Entertainment?
To begin with, 3 names for the group have already revealed - Park Bom, CL and Gong Min Ji. They are set to debut next spring.
Park Bom has already been featured in Lee Hyori and Lee Jun Ki’s SamSung mobile phone Anycall CF ‘Anystar’. CL has also established a reputation before this for her outstanding rapping skills. And Gong Min Ji is known to be the grand niece of dance master Gong Ok Jin.
But the group name cum the number of members for it have yet to be decided.
Yang Hyun Seok said, “As called the ‘female Big Bang‘ on the Internet, YG’s new female group will have 5 members and we have already found the 4 members to it.”
And about the music style of the new YG female group?
President Yang said, “YG’s new female group will not be as pretty as the normal popular girl groups. But their music will be something that we can guarantee that everyone will really like. YG’s new girl group will make strong and impressive music as compared to their girl groups out there. Big Bang GDragon is currently making music for their debut.”
GDragon revealed in a recent interview that, “There is one song in Big Bang’s 2nd album released in November that was meant to be for YG’s new female group.”

GD = G-Dragon
YG = Yang Goon (Yang Hyun Suk's nick name which was given by Seo Taiji I believe...
and YG also refers to the entertainment that he founded ^^)

@ zoby - me too me tooo. I hope Park Bom gets a solo song since she was aposed to debut solo I hope they use at least one of the songs that were already in recording before she got put into the group. Makes me sad when songs go to waste and never get released T^T
