Has anyone tried their lip tints? Can I get a review? (:

My boyfriend is a smoker.
Obviously, I'm not happy about it but I'm not going to preach and go all gung-ho on him.
It's not like he's an obsessive smoker, and he's pretty well-rounded (good grades, GOOD HYGIENE, doesn't do drugs, volunteers, etc...) so I just pass it off as his way of relieving stress. Not the healthiest way, I know, but if I really love him, shouldn't I be willing to overlook that one flaw? (:

Pepero, hands down?
The chocolate and almond covered ones in the green box?
More addictive than crack, yo.

which amusement park is better, seoul land or everland??? i've been to seoul land long time ago but I don't remember at all what it was like. never been to everland though.
Everland all the way, baby! Everland is more family-themed so there are tons of things to do, and things to see.
Great scenery, Carribean Bay (though the huge crowd sort of sucks), and yes, as someone mentioned the epic T-Express. Don't think it quite beats the Behemoth at Wonderland, but I don't regret the two hour wait at all. (:
Plus they've got that cute Holland Village thingy where they've killer sausages. Haha me and my food. @_@;;
This is a little off topic but I was wondering how hard is it to live in Korea if you don't eat meat? I'm muslim and I really want to go teach in Korea in a year or so but I dont know if it would be a good idea....Um don't quote me on this, but I don't think it would be THAT hard. Sure, you'd be missing out on a lot of Korea's finer cuisine, but since everyone is so image obsessed and into 'well-being' food these days, there are loads of bistros and places that specialize in vegetarian dishes. (:

Experienced a brand new con today: THE SMELL ON THE SUBWAYS.
Errrlack, I know it's hit summer-like weather for the past few days, but that is NO excuse for the reek of sweat and soju and ... SWEAT on the subways. Gnarsty y'all.

Just finished reading Animal Farm by George Orwell, and I've just started in on The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. (:

I love Burberry Brit Sheer, and Anna Sui's Dolly Girl. I wear the Burberry one in Spring/Summer and Dolly Girl in Fall/Winter. Tons of compliments. (:
The Harajuku Lovers perfumes have really cute packages, yeah, but the scents aren't really anything special. :/
To be honest, not one of them appealed to me.
And Dolce and Gabbana's Light Blue is nice as well I guess, but it's waaaay too common now.
-
Pro: Adorable little boys and girls, all smiles and 애교, dressed to charm in the cutest outfits.
Con: When they open their mouths and the first word that comes out is "씨발."

^ OMG Sakun!!!!

Holy mini cooper, just leave me the john tesh alone!
Like, you don't see me making snide remarks about everything you do, making fun of how you act or dress, or make fun of how YOU sound in English (cause trust me pal, I sound a LOT better in Korean than you do in English). So just leave me alone! At least I know your john teshing name! FYI, my john teshing name ISN'T Canada. So either learn it, or don't bother talking to me!
...sorry for the graphic post, thank God for Soompi censors.

^ Agree with that, it's just so awkward and uncomfortable. Like I was at school and a few of my classmates and I went to the washroom right before lunch, and I see this one girl who comes out of the bathroom stall and she begins to leave so I'm like, "Um.. aren't you washing your hands? It's lunchtime.." and she gave me a weird look, shrugged, and said, "Nahhh too bothersome." and proceeded to leave. That's just so gross, I mean I'm so thankful that my friends at least wash their hands avidly cause I'd have a really hard time trying to be firm but nice about them not grabbing my hands or touching me (which would be a huge problem, cause I think Koreans are big on skinship).
Good: cheap shopping, everywhere
Bad: salespeople that follow directly behind you, adjusting every hanger every time you even graze the clothes.
Just want to add on to that:
Con: When you innocently ask for the PRICE and they proceed to answer you ... but they also include that it's on a 20% sale just for today, it's the latest style with lots of 인기 among shoppers, it's so versatile cause you can wear it this way and that, it would look amazing on your figure blah blah (insert-10billion-compliments-here), you'll really regret it if you don't buy it now, the material is sooo comfy and light, it's suitable for any age, oh come on a 2,000won discount just for you then, no? Oh well fine then, goodbye customer. ; Like wtf, I asked for the price, not the damned origin for godsakes.
Anyways,
Pro: You could walk into any E-Mart, Homeplus, Grandmart, etc... and eat enough to substitute a meal from all the free samples. <33333
Lmfao sorry. I've got this thing with food.
-
Pros:
- Food.
- Shopping.
- When people attempt to have a conversation with you in English. Notice the emphasis on attempt?
- Pojangmachas a.k.a. food.
- Uniforms <33333
- FOOD.
Cons:
- Um, yeah that spitting thing has got to go. I like have to literally force myself not to cringe and scowl in disgust when this happens. Which is everyday. And it's not just boys/men, it's girls (students) as well. Actually, I think I've seen more female students spitting on the streets than males. o_O;
- Foreign products are so hard to find and expensive.
- When people get into public arguments. It's not pretty anywhere, but in Korea, it's like, cover-your-ears-and-run-for-your-lives-esque.
- School. I mean, when I still lived in Canada, I thought school was sooo dull, but Korea makes my old school seem like a rave. ;
- NO CHEETOS OMFG.
-
Breakfast - Chicken salad wrap
Lunch - Tangsooyuk, rice, kimchi, soup (school-provided lunch)
Dinner - Naengmyung, omurice, strawberries for desert
(:

Honestly, at the mo' I would KILL for guitar lessons and an electric guitar.
Or a new skateboard. Since my old one died on me. D:

I want some of whatever he had.

Today in class during lunch break, my friend was commenting on how I look like Tiffany from SNSD when I laugh/smile cause of my eyes, and my crush who overheard said, "Nahhh she's way cuter than Tiffany." <3
-
Dear Lover,
I love you but I kinda sorta hate you.
Therefore, you suck.
Cordially yours,
"Canada".
-
Death Cab For Cutie of course (:
And a friend recently introduced me to Eisley, and they're pretty good I guess as well.
-
Brilliant, bloody brilliant, now all we need is the announcement about an American remake.
-
how do you say extremely in korean.
like i'm extremely ----------------
not jincha, or jeongmal, but like... a word that makes it more severe.
unformal please.
and if it's not too much trouble, could you romanize it.
i could probably read hangul if you want to write it that way,
but it would take me forever lol.
Well, a lot of young people now a days use 존나 (Jon-na).
It's probably not something you want to say around adults though, it's slang bordering on almost swearing.
E.X.
"Jon-na jja jeung na" "존나 짜증나" "It's hella/fricking/f***ing annoying."
"Jon-na him deul uh" "존나 힘들어" "I'm hella/fricking/f***ing tired."
etc...
Can't really think of any other alternatives at the mo, sorry ^^;
Maybe 완전 (wan-jun)? It's like 'completely' or 'totally'.
E.X.
"Na wan-jun shim shim hae." "나 완전 심심해" "I'm totally bored."
"Na wan-jun chunjae ya." "나 완전 천재야." "I'm a total genius."
etc...
