hehe, now that i'm rewatching, did anyone else think the punch was kinda flimsy? maybe with a louder sound effect it could have been more DUN-DUN-DUN, ya know?
and if that's all shin has, kang hyun could kick his @$$ to the moon and back. ooh, i still can't get over that all-girl confrontation. i was waiting for some serious chick fighting.

HOLY S***! Of all the scenes I ever even DREAMED of, not one of them even came close to the idea of Kang Hyun pushing Hyorin around like a rag doll. Ooh, that's my girl! You go KH!!
A lot of violence coming out in the show suddenly, I must say.
If not for the random slow pacing in ep 14, it would be my favorite. As such, 11 still holds the top spot. 14 had some heavy drama going on, but I found myself caring the least for it. In fact, some of it was overdone.
And SHIN. WTF. If anyone needs to be punched, it's HIM, the cold-hearted *&$%#. I REALLY wanted to like Shin at first, but by god, he's just rubbing me the wrong way. He has the weakest grounds for getting mad at anybody, because let's all remember that he LET Hyorin kiss him. He didn't put up one millionth of the fight that Chae Gyung did with Yul when Yul did so much as hug her. I got one word for you, loser--HYPOCRITE!!!!!!!! He's all "I did something completely and utterly 110% wrong and disrespectful to my wife and my family, but I'm gonna go around getting mad at anyone who doesn't pay attention to me." Somebody shoot him. I've come to the conclusion that he and Hyorin deserve each other.
The only innocent one left in all this is the teddy bear.

Nyob zoo! Yes, I'm Hmong but I really dislike Hmong movies and drama, so I've been into Japanese and Korean shows for a long time. And I refuse to watch these shows after Hmong people have dubbed them. *barf*

Hehe, I have yet to dream about Goong when I'm sleeping but I've sat in class plenty of times cooking up scenes between Yul and Kang Hyun. theed and I are the ultimate scene-dreamers. I should predict stuff and run polls or something.

Just thought I'd like to share the fact that theed will never watch Goong the same way again because I finally showed her some past Baby VOX videos where Eun Hye is shakin' it pretty hard and is completely different from the sweet and innocent Chae Gyung we all know and love.

I agree 100%. The blond he has now is necessary to make him look more like the manhwa Yul, but with his natural black hair he's so cute.

SnowApple, that was sweeetness! I loved it. What program did you use? Premeire, Final Cut, Pinnacle?
I think that just may be the best doggarn compliment I've ever received on my videos. That they were good enough to make people think I might have used those programs! I wish!!
The truth is (and I'm a little ashamed to admit it), I use Windows Movie Maker just like everyone else, I've just learned how to make it look like I don't, hehehe. Plus I always convert to .avi afterwards so that mac users don't think I'm hating.
For the titles and credits I use SubStationAlpha. Thanks for downloading and watching it!

erk. 12 is what i like to call a stalling episode. sure, important stuff happened, but it's like all the necessary story chores. doesn't make for the best cinematic appeal.
the only part that had me GLUED to the screen was (of course) the home ec class where everyone is making cakes and kang hyun wipes a little bit of cream off of yul's hand.
but in the tradition of korean drama, the director is now changing up shots between yul/kh and yul/jisu sesu as well, just to shake things up. but it's all in vain, because i have them all figured out. *yawns*more yul/kh shots for graphics! more shots yul/kh for graphics! *fires up photoshop*
oh, expanding on the cake thing, i love how CG got to smack hers right into the monkey trio. punishment for all that engrish they were hurting our ears with. *shudder*

just wonderingg ~ what programs do you guys use to do video screen captures?
i just use the 'print screen' button and crop away all the rest of my desktop that it gets. it imports perfectly into photoshop. but there are a million other programs you could use too. avi splitter, ffdshow grab feature, etc.

my theory on yul and kang hyun. monday night i wrote an editorial about them and how there are all these little clues that keep hinting at them getting together. you can read it HERE.
someone linked to it with the word "Shock," then had some mad smilies. i just thought it was interesting.

i don't understand a word of polish, but from what i threw into the translator, i got the impression they didn't like my theory. the mad-faced emoticons might have something to do with it too. keke

ok, i'm late jumping on this mania, but 11 is FAR AND AWAY my favorite episode so far. it was friggin' awesome!
excuse the technical rant, it's my artsy fartsy side peeking through. but really! up to this point, goong has been so warm-colored and doll-like. even during crying scenes, everything was kept lighthearted and not to the point where it had visible, long-term emotional effects on the characters. chae gyung would cry in one scene, then the next, bing! the sad time is over in exchange for comic relief or gag humor.
but this was the first episode to technically change the whole tone of the show. for once, you saw the characters looking natural, not all pristine with every hair in place. the shots were more cool-colored and static. in general, everyone's acting just kicked up a knotch on the serious scale. you finally saw yul coming out of his easy-smiling, laid-back attitude into a more emotional, frantic one. and shin! he had some depth to his lines for once. finally i get some CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT here.
and i personally thought eun hye was great. this was her best acting yet. hyorin can go jump off a cliff. *hiss*
did anyone else think the sister looked japanese? i think maybe it was the hair. too hip for korean girls.
and best of all, i got more fuel for my yul/kang hyun theory!!!! if you have no idea what i'm talking about, read THIS that i wrote about those two. ooh, this episode just gave me chills!
