I'm going through the news from the MAMA awards and watching some of the performances. Not trying to put down any other groups or anything but the most memorable MKMF/MAMA awards have always been Big Bang's performances. This year's performances weren't that great (not shocking, not entertaining) enough. They were good though. I just miss my Big Bang fix.

Okay, still trying to get my head around the awesomeness of their performance. It was so entertaining! i was gripped from the beginning. they look amazing (though i don't like Minji's hair very much...)
From the first couple of seconds, CL's cheeky grin had me gripped. I knew at that very moment that I was going to love the performance. Everyone was so fierce and I have to mention that they have improved heaps. In regards to their dancing, they were spot on. They were very much in sync which looked sooooooooo, wait for it, soooooooooooooo cool!

I've prepared myself for this piece of news but it's heartbreaking nonetheless. I can't imagine the repercussions of this for big bang as a unit and for Daesung as an individual. No doubt this will confirm his guilt (although from what i've read, i can't see the logic behind blaming him...) as he is a person who will take everything to heart and bottle it up. I'm really worried for him.
Of course, the tragedy remains the death of the motorbike rider and we should remember that.

I haven't commented on the issue for the past couple of days because so far, it's been a haze for me. I didn't know which articles to trust, which to ignore, whether or not I should get defensive or whether or not I should leave people to attack with groundless accusations. Arguing with people like that exhausts me.
Anyway, given the news and developments that we have now, we can ascertain that Daesung did not deliberately hurt the victim, nor was it because of his negligence. People need to understand that. I can't begin to imagine what the family is feeling having lost someone so close to them, nor can I begin to understand what it is like for Daesung. Even if he was not the perpetrator of the tragedy, how could he accept the fact that he was involved just days after the incident. If it was me, I would lock myself up forever (a bit of an exaggeration but at least he turned up to the funeral site).
I guess as a public figure people do have expectations of him--that is, to apologise to the family and publicly express himself but he is after all, human. He's the type of person to bottle everything up, let bad things eat him up inside before burdening another with his problems. It is going to be difficult for him to recover from this, particularly psychologically. That is what I'm most worried about. Hyori confirms this with her tweets, as does YG.
I don't know what YG is doing really. PR wise, this is a disaster and YG hasn't done anything to better this really. I guess it is difficult for him but I don't know... maybe they should have responded to this in a differently.
Also, people have criticised a lot of VIPs for only caring about Daesung. As long as we're not disrespecting Mr Hyun, I don't see why that is so wrong. I love Daesung and even if we don't have direct contact, he is like a friend to me. He brightens up my day. He means something to me. Of course I'm going to care. Those who are blinded by fandom and make insensitive comments are another case altogether. I hope we as VIPs mature from something as significant as this.
This is such an unfortunate thing to have happened. I am deeply sorry towards the family of the victim but also to Daesung because in many ways, he is also a victim.

I'm in shock.
I'm not going to say anything because the news reports so far have effectively confused me. People should be jumping to defend Daesung or criticise him either. We still don't know for certain what happened. I pray that Daesung wasn't at fault.
Condolences to the motorbike rider and his family. The death of any man is a tragedy.
I hope people are more sensitive about the issue. I was disappointed with some comments by VIPS defending Big Bang. Another man has just died, please keep that in mind.

If Nino really did go to the concert, I would be mad happy! I love Arashi! haha. If Big Bang ever became guests on an Arashi show I think I would go insane!

I really like the song. It's so mellow--totally something I could curl up to on a rainy, cold day. I especially love the meaning to this. I projects all that I feel in previous relationships.

I've been away on holiday and was pleasantly surprised to see Bom had released a new song and a new mv. I felt so out of touch with the world while away and this proves that I was! Where did it come from?! LOL
All I can say though, is that the song is absolutely gorgeous. Bom looks so cute in the music video and I really do like how YG is giving her solo opportunities. Even if she doesn't perform this song on music station, just hearing her beautiful voice is wonderful. She has such a distinct, lovely voice to listen to.

I am in Big Bang Heaven. They look gorgeous (as always). TOP looks like the biggest pimp ever (as always), GD stands out and I'm really loving his hair! Taeyang Daesung and Seungri -- amazing. sdfsdjflsdjfd.
I loved their Somebody to love performance. The choreography for that is really entertaining to watch. I felt that the boys were really tired during their Tonight performance--Taeyang especially because he has the majority of the lines. They need to rest up soon.
In the mean time, let us all watch this english cover of Tonight. It was so so so so good. (Sorry if I'm the delayed person and you have already come across this...)

I can't wait for that day in the future when GD and I are alone and sings like that for me! I know, I know! Wishful thinking but damn, everything about that was just gorgeous! I can't wait for this show to air! Daesung was singing his song from What's up... YG is generally pretty on top of everything but he should realise that this boy needs a solo album quick! And can dae come onto Running Man again after this. I don't remember any guest running as fast and escaping everyone as he did. asldjfasjdf. I was so worked up watching it and it was raw....for a while now I haven't been able to "get into" Running man. Totally different case this week. I... I can't wait for Dumb and Dumber!

Is it just me or doe the boys seem like they're trying a little too hard to look happy. They performed like the superstars they were but when it came to accepting the awards, Taeyang was really quiet which is weird because he's the resident jokester nowadays, Seung Ri didn't look too happy either and I actually think TOP poking his cheek had another meaning. Maybe TOP was telling him to smile even brighter. GD who's usually more quiet had to thank people today (maybe cause the other boys didn't want to?). Notice how when they're performing the encore, they kept walking towards the back as well. I don't know, maybe I'm reading into this too much but to me, I don't think the boys could possible be happy after they way they have been treated. I only makes me admire them more though, because they don't show people that they're unhappy--they pull through it with grace. These are the type of people who are true idols.
Anyway, I really liked what they were wearing yesterday. I WANT WHAT GD WAS WEARING, HAHA. That was really pretty

I can't believe how cruel the person who you go the news from is to the Japanese people. To me, they're basically stepping all over the tragedy that took place yesterday. It was the same on allkpop. I mean, it's fine to care about kpop artists in Japan but some people seem to ONLY care about that. There are people, normal everyday people, who have actually died there. So many are missing. what a god damn richard simmons off for someone to joke about it. Sorry, I think I might a little sensitive right now.

Well, you guys know the performance at their electric love tour(?) where the cd stuffs up while they're performing Always but they pull through it with grace and talent? This is like the same thing in my opinion--just that there was no evil presence at their concert. I can't express how proud and how much respect I have for the boys for still bringing their A game instead of having a betchfest which I probably would have done. They were genuinely happy to receive the award--but is it just me or did they not thank musicbank? haha. I...YG, please don't let Big Bang appear on that show anymore. There is no sense of credibility anymore.

I don't think I can express how I feel about big bang in a word better than: RESPECT. I have mad respect for the sincerity, humbleness, determination, commitment, perseverance, talent, insight etc etc. There is seriously nothing better than a big bang interview to read. i feel like I learn from them, how I should approach my goals and what I want to achieve. The are just beyond their age. Their interview answers are always so mature.
Maybe they have some kind of bank where they store all these beautiful quotes because some of the things they say...it's like they're responding directly to their fans and in a single line, they can ease us of any concern.
Congrats to the boys for the Cyworld achievement. Well deserved.
OH AND.... I GOT MY TONIGHT ALBUM TODAY!

I'm glad that they have reached a compromise. the disagreement would only hurt big bang. I hope they didn't have to sacrifice anything though and i really hope that they can maintain a good relationship. I can't wait until the end of year gayos. Big Bang has the best stages--no joke. they have the most creative, beautiful, stunning, jaw dropping performances at the gayos and it would be a shame for them to go to only 2 out of 3. Though, i do worry that they'll be tired...

Just the winning clip has me smiling like an idiot. TOP's weird, weird, weird, random dance as the move to the front to accept the award, Seung Ri joining in and trying to get Taeyang to join in, TOP ignoring and killing Seung Ri's happiness, GD's laugh, GD's fail flower throwing moment, Taeyang contemplating whether or not he should throw the glass award into the crowd and possible knock someone out and then laughing about it.... I LOVE BIG BANG TO BITS. WHAT DORKS!
I found it so sweet how they were at the back--they always move to the back even when it's pretty obvious that they'll win. They bow at 90 degrees to their juniors as well. Their relationship with the dancers is really endearing as well. Notice that one of the dancers holds the trophy and jumps around while they perform. Sweetest boys ever!

I like that YG acknowledged how Yg Entertainment, in the big scheme of things, is just one company whereas KBS is a large broadcasting company. It shows that he isn't arrogant about this. I've doubted KBS since the beginning because it is highly evident that other groups had special treatment. I question the claim that YG demanded 10 minutes but even if he did, KBS gave TVXQ over 8 minutes. What difference does another two make?
At the end of the day, it's Big Bang that pays so either YG and KBS come to an agreement soon or they just let this issue pass. It doesn't look good to have this feud overshadowing what's most important: Big Bang's performances. Besides, I rather the boys only perform on three shows--it gives them some time to rest.
