A few thoughts...

 

@Niki Idy your realization around the King's birthday is EFFING GOLD! WOW. What a revelation. What other lines do we think could potentially be pointing to real life? I recall "you must have a boyfriend who served in the military" and "everytime I hear you say I love you I'm startled" anything else we thought might be referencing to real life? 

 

@Heretorant @effyisme @Prerna I feel that you three are the most confident of us shippers, so THANK YOU so much for your conviction and reminding us why we're here even when others bring doubt into our minds!! I feel like everyone plays a certain role in this thread, and I love it. Admittedly, I translate and I try to keep us as grounded as possible :P. I've been honestly feeling sad because LMH hasn't posted another couple photo of the two, and KGE has plenty. I know, I know, I've brought this up, but can't help but to feel this way. I don't want KGE to go unreciprocated. But you three make me feel better!!!

 

And also one vote for Jeong Tae Ra and Lee Ji Hoon --- omg what I wouldn't do to see that drama.

Born and raised in the US! My parents don't speak great English so I use Korean to converse with them + I watched Korean dramas when I was little/growing up and I studied Korean in college and studied/worked abroad there for 3months!! To be fair, there are quite a few Knetz who think everyone is overthinking and overanalyzing. They are saying that of course these two are going to show affection, seem close to each other etc. they've spent 8 months on set together playing two characters. They are probably so immersed in their characters that it's coming out in their regular interactions with one another. Since the drama ended, they will go back to normal and stay as close colleagues. 

 

I'm not sure if these are Minoz or Arjenias but theres quite a bit of mixed bag reaction right now too. 

 

Wanted to shed light on both sides so you have the full picture.

Some context on that second pic of them squatting. KGE's makeup artist commented saying "cool Leeul couple" and KGE responded saying "we tried to show the 'hip' off" --> I think what she means by this comment is they tried to replicate the HIP HOP squatting pose. Do you know which one I'm talking about? 

 

 

FUN FACT: my one other ship - Zendaya & Jacob Elordi (for my fellow Americans who watch HBO Euphoria) - when fans were suspicious of them dating, they actually took a picture in NYC with that exact pose (squatting in front of a store, handshake). That NYC trip is famous among us Z/Jacob shippers because its the trip where they got caught kissing in public after MONTHS of speculation (like seriously over 6 months of speculation). That fancam on the beach really got me when I saw it. I think most people pointed out LMH trying to grab KGE's wrist like 10x in 30 seconds and KGE holding onto his collar / clothes. 

 

Although both were nice to see, it wasn't anything different from what we've seen before. LMH constantly tries to grab her wrist, as mentioned 1000x times in this thread, and KGE has a habit of pulling on people's clothes (this was a well-known fact among KGExGY shippers, they constantly pulled each other closer by their clothes). 

 

BUT WHAT GOT ME - at one point in the video, after the intense laughter died down, they were both standing side-by-side and they both look down at their feet for a little bit at the same time. IT WAS THE SOFTEST SHYEST thing. So cute.

A long-time Korean Minoz mentioned that in one of the comments on the SBS keyword interview. She responded to someone asking if LMH is always like this with his co-stars and she said "Yes, he is always so nice, gentle, and great towards his co-stars, he was a great personality." and then that person responded being like "oh ok, i thought he liked KGE because he seems to laugh more around her" and then the long-time Minoz relented and finally said "yes, I noticed he laughs a bit more around her and actively tries to meet her eyes."

I went through LMH's old making videos to understand this part. What I saw: 

- Heirs: he did it once or twice to PSH. Definitely not as much as he does now. 

- LOBTS: I did not see it with JJH at all, but good to remember that she's married and older than him, I think he was very conscious of how he acted around her 

 

And of course, because LMH is also sailing the WDHxLMH ship, I've seen him do it to WDH in a fancam during shooting. 

 

I think it's generally a sign of affection from LMH :).

I've been thinking about what someone said in response to my "I'm sad LMH did not post more couple photos after KGE posted many." I believe it was @effyisme or @Niki Idy who said that if LMH posted more it would mean less + wonder why KGE is still posting even when he stopped (possibly to show how much she likes him too). 

 

I haven't arrived at a conclusion on this one - but I do find it interesting that KGE keeps on posting photos with LMH on her IG (even after LMH stopped at the beach photos). I mean, this is coming from a girl who does NOT follow anyone unless they follow her first. Someone who I know is scared of OIM-type fans after what she's been through with GY. Curious. I can't explain it easily.

I can attest to this. I think the CCTV kiss scene has started something among Knetz. There's a stream of comments on it questioning if this is real or not, etc. Some have started seeing international Twitter/IG posts on LMHxKGE and mentioned it.

If you watch from the moment they are hugging you can see KGE laughing her richard simmons off and then squatting. KGE has a tendency to squat when she's laughing hard. I don't think she's unwell (my opinion).

Ok another tangentially related piece of content I came across recently. 

 

I watched KGE's appearance on Happy Together in 2016. The topic of KGE's popularity during her college days came up. Comedian YJS and the other guy (don't know his name) started making a lot of fun of her because apparently they've heard from people in the K-ent circle that there were a lot of guys chasing after KGE. And no matter how hard they tried, she would not fall for them / be wooed. YJS was like I heard they lost weight and had dark circles because they put in so much effort into you but nothing in return. 

 

Obviously YJS is over-exaggerating, but I do think KGE tends to friendzone people. She probably has an extra guard up with her co-stars who have legions of OIM fans. Hopefully this is not the case for LMH.

But also, I don't know how all you ladies feel about the Swoon Thai interview, but I actually surprisingly really like that one too. It's short and it's only about 2mins of content of our couple, but LMH looked SO SHY when he showed his answer to the question "which cast member would you want to see the drama with." And it's like why are you shy, you're sitting right next to her and it's only you two being interviewed, and she's your lead partner, its obvious your answer should be her and her answer should be you. But his smile was so shy. I love that part.
