I think a lot of people cannot move on like us . Why did we become shippers in the first place? i read in this thread that many started watching CLOY then looked/researched for the background of HB and SYJ then the magic hook just happened! Some never also watched K-dramas before.
If i look at what is happening, for us we want the realization of our shipping which is them ending up in marriage. That is the news we have been anticipating. For others, they want another project where they are together even if the belief is .... unlikely... as the practice in KOREA is different . Coming from SYJ... "It is rare that the same two screen partners come together again ... but it was meant to be".
Clickbaits or not as long as the press/media keeps on hyping the couple and the fandom actively pushing our OTP in any competition, SOMETHING IS BOUND TO HAPPEN. I await with excitement!
It will be a never-ending process as long as CLOY is on Netflix. New people will watch it, new ones will be their fans, new shippers will be born hahaha
