  1. True, Descendants Of The Sun. Next person: is or was a teen mom or dad
  2. This thread is moving fast, I only posted 1 timed before, but you are quick and can't keep up. +2 Condolances to you @Sejabin. The only thing I know about Indonesia is that they were quite late in the game. They didn't report any COVID-cases compared to surrounding countries until not too long ago. Maybe the government / ministry of health didn't step in too quickly and summon doctors what to do. I don't know, after reading your post it's quite unfortunate .
  3. Yes for westerners it's a whole different world. Imagine if Taylor Swift lived in Korea, she would be thrown many ugly words at her head for dating so many guys. There are a few documentaries about South Korea k-pop/entertainment industry and it's dark side, quite interesting I think you can find it on Youtube if interested. Time will tell if both are thing and are getting married.
  4. Inspiring, thanks for sharing the documentary! I read some opinion in the comment section of youtube: What do you all think about that comment, didn't he always have those character traits? Wasn't that always part of his personality? .
  5. I'm finishing episode 2 now, I'm liking it, it's not too mellow and cheesy like some K-dramas. I can't get over Song Hye Kyo's beauty, such a beautiful woman!
  6. I see your points. Netflix is globally and an American company. Hollywood is different. Netflix can't be considered Hollywood. I also meant a movie where the main language is English. Yejin wants to take new challenges, so that was why I wrote my initial post . P.S. Netflix didn't co-produce The Negotiation. It may be streamed in your country on Netflix, but they didn't co-produce it. Also, Crash landing On You was produced by South Korean company tvN and distributed by Netflix.
  7. He graduated for his Bachelor's in February if I read it correctly and then attended his master's course in March. (there must be some odd translations from Korean to English). I only added one fact just now, Yejin her parents managed her money/finances until a few years ago (she said in an interview).
  8. I'll add something more about Son Ye Jin, but first did Hyun Bin get his master's degree (as in did he actually graduate)? Talent Hyun Bin becomes a graduate student 2009-02-10 14:12 Talent Hyun-bin (27, Kim Tae-pyeong) becomes a graduate student. An official from Hyunbin said on the 10th, "Hyunbin will go to the master's course in the Department of Drama and Film, Chung-Ang University." Hyunbin, a 01-year student at the Department of Drama and Film at Chung-Ang University, is about to graduate in February and will take a master's degree from March. Earlier, on the 24th of last month, Hyunbin delivered 100 million won of development funds to his alma mater, inviting him to write a small theater, an international exchange fund, and a scholarship to commemorate his 50th anniversary. Currently, Hyun Bin is filming 'Friends of Our Legend', which dramatizes the movie 'Friends' in Busan. https://www.nocutnews.co.kr/news/4131237 <- original text in Korean. Son Ye Jin likes pilates, TRX, sports a few times a week, game fanatic, she has to win when playing games, she was shy but got over it through working with many different people in the film industry. (she mentioned this in her episode on Master of The House). Son Ye Jin studied at Seoul Institute of the Arts, a prestigious school that’s the alma mater of many other popular Korean actors as well. Her parents managed her finances until a few years ago (she said in an interview)
  9. Lee Byung hun has played in a few Hollywood movies. It would be great if Son Ye Jin ever gets the chance to play in a Hollywood movie as well. I think it would be awesome if they both played in a Quentin Tarantino Movie. Or not Hollywood, a Bong Joon-ho movie!
  10. They must have only took Hollywood celebrities. I only think facial facial features; Henry Cavill and Bradd Pitt (in his early years) are perfect from that list.
  11. To follow up on the above post, hoping so too. I also looked into it a little bit further, some positive statement: “The situation is definitely a lot better than even five or so years ago. This is mostly because there have now been so many dating ‘scandals,’ that the idea of idols dating and even getting married is a lot more normalized,” said Gibson, the academic https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/21/entertainment/kpop-dating-hyuna-edawn-music-celebrity-intl/index.html
  12. Yes I kind of knew South Korean entertainment industry has a dark side, but in my quest as to why dating can be considered a scandal, I found an article on Forbes about our couple. Jan 11, 2019,10:16am EST When Rumors Link Two Stars In Korea It Can Be A "Scandal" Joan MacDonaldContributor Hollywood & Entertainment I'm a journalist fascinated by Korean drama and film. In South Korea, if two stars might possibly be dating it’s called a “scandal” and mega-stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, who co-starred in the 2018 film The Negotiation, were recently involved in one. Sometimes such rumors start when stars make similar posts on Instagram or because the stars have been reported in the proximity of each other. They may have demonstrated romantic chemistry in a film or drama project or have simply said they enjoyed working together. Sometimes the rumors are true and the stars own up to dating. There have been at least a dozen Korean star couples who met on set. Some even marry. Other times the rumors are wishful thinking. Unlike the U.S., where actors don’t seem too concerned if people know they are dating, Korea’s star relationships tend to have a greater effect on the popularity of the actors involved, either boosting their box office draw or hurting it. The stars might be interested in each other, but, given their very enthusiastic and vigilant fan base, prefer some privacy and date in secret. South Korean talent agencies also carefully manage a star’s public image and are often called on to issue statements regarding relationships. Sometimes agencies are caught unaware that a star is dating and have to play damage control or even retract a statement denying a relationship. The latest “scandal” involving two Korean stars began when it was rumored that Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin met in the U.S. with her parents. The stars had seemed friendly and complimented each other when working together on The Negotiation. In August 2018, at a press conference for the film, Son Ye Jin spoke about her working relationship with Hyun Bin. She said that his involvement in the film was a deciding factor in her taking the role of a hostage negotiator named Ha Chae Yoon. “I was surprised when I heard that he was looking at the role. It was different from the image Hyun Bin has shown as an actor so far. I thought it was great that he was using this role to take on a bold challenge.” Although the actors were not in many scenes together they did have a sense of camaraderie and he called her “a reassuring presence.” Son also took a series of selfies with the actor. Selfies plus the recent rumor added up to a dating “scandal.” Son’s agency, MSTeam Entertainment has denied the rumors, saying she is currently traveling alone and her parents are in Korea. His agency, VAST Entertainment, responded, saying that he is overseas for work. I also read this in the spoiler which I don't know if it's true, I can entirely agree on the Western part, but can someone agree on the Korean/Asian part? This was written as an answer on K-pop, but I can assume it's the same for the whole South Korean entertainment industry?
  13. I don't want to be boring, but like everyone said... yes he is attractive. He's one of the most attractive Korean Actors in his late 30's. What I am really curious about is how Hyun Bin parents look like and his 2 brothers. Did anyone find any pictures of them? They must have visited his public movie premieres and public awards he attended right?
  14. Couldn't agree more, but the funny thing is Son Ye Jin used to be shy she said in interviews. In her early videos I think you can see her shyness shining through, luckily she got over it! I'm hoping HB will show his home on Master In The House in the near future. Son Ye Jin her official Instagram account is @Yejinhand + FB account @officialsonyejin HB doesn't have social media. Can't access Weibo to watch that special feature, but here you have his emotional discharge video (ENG subs). Also an interesting watch.
  15. Really? haha. Yes I watched memories of the Alhambra, most of it two years ago. So I don't remember that scene. Omg I wasted my time LOL, going back to studying.
