I agree that YJ is a private person and wants to keep low profile when in relationship but i think HB, not only he is considerate of YJ's choices but he also wants to keep low profile too. His last relationship was made public because he was caught by paparazzi only 15 days after he started dating. Only 15 days.. Most probably he was in the period of getting to know his partner but because he was caught, he was forced to announce it. He learnt from his previous experience so he will not admit it, i guess. Plus i think this time it is more serious for him. However, he is not very experienced in hiding the relationship as YJ is i guess

People were speculating that her mother was actually from Division 11 earlier in this thread. I quite liked the idea. It would connect Seri to NK. Even if she wasn't, it would be great to learn about the mother to understand Seri's character and her background deeper. But i don't know how will they do all of them when we don't have much time left
I don't want them to rush anything to wrap up the ending, especially JH and Seri's happily ever after (i am optimistic about the happy ending). I want them to have their own family and some cute little moments if possible

Thanks but i am not exactly sure as i am not 100% fluent in Korean. So i wrote my understanding. There is a young Seri played by Kim Tae Yon and baby Seri played by Yoo Min (we don't have her photo) but the baby in the picture is ChaeRin as the mother keeps talking how they took picture with her and how her condition was bad on that day. But i assume there is no baby of Seri and JH since she did not mention it.

I love him in uniform the best as it makes him more buff and serious. Also in turtle neck because it makes him look thick in the shoulders and neck I have to mention that i love his bowl cut hair too. The only style i don't like in him is where he looks so thin and dolled up like in "confidential assignment" promotional video

I have been thinking about the ending, I used to think that they could end in Switzerland but I don’t know why, now I am liking more the idea of RJH and his parents becoming defectors. RJH’s dad is almost retiring from military, what if he decides to give up his post and leave the country with RJH and RJH’s mom because he is also discovering how bad is the “dark side” in NK’s military. He already lost one son because of that. He won’t allow to lose his youngest son.
Ri family being defectors means death to all family or at least to Father Ri as he is the top officer in NK political party, he knows a lot. Therefore there would be no chance, DPRK would let him alive even if he successfully migrate to any country. So this would be a tragic end for JH. Switzerland is the most convenient end for our couple JH could find an excuse as being DPRK sponsored genius pianist that represent the country in Europe. Seri could open up a branch in Switzerland since she already has 14 international branches.
However, I am one of the few people who would like a happy ending in NK, although it does not sound realistic
Although i'd be happy for JH to pursue his dreams of being pianist, i would like him to continue being the upright commander of the company 5. He is a great leader that rotten army needs. Also he is a great leader to F4 so he will continue being the role model in how to be a good soldier for them. Plus i love their interaction, i will be sad if they separate. Another reason why i like NK ending is that Seri doesn't have a friend or a loving family in SK, she wouldn't lose anything regarding her social life if she moves to NK. She can be herself without hiding behind the cold facade that she built up to protect herself. She has friends (ahjumas and F4) and loving partner (RJH) and his supportive family. If the diplomacy allows she could run a business in Pyongyang like Seo Dan's mother and collect dollars. Ri Father is the top political person in DPRK so he can arrange something her daughter in law I know realistically speaking this scenario is not possible but since it is a drama there is nothing wrong to imagine, right

Another thing that I like about JH/SR, in their goodbyes they always say "Stay healthy, live a long, happy life." And there's just something so touching that they put each other's health as a priority. Because both of them risked their lives for each other.
My ideal ending would be a bittersweet one, where JH finds Seri in Switzerland and gives her a scented candle. Yes, I want my reference to the time when she was in NK. And not in a "let's show them ten thousand flashbacks" way.
But regardless, if it will be a different ending, I will be glad anyways. I only hope it will be justified - I feel like for Seri it would be easier to adjust to life elsewhere (for example, opening another office could even benefit the company anyways, and her family sucks, so no big loss here) than for JH (he has to give up his family and his life in NK). I hope that this will add some weight to the ending as well. I can't believe we're already close enough to the ending to start thinking about it.
I do like bittersweet endings too! If this drama was melo, i am sure it would have been a tear jerking one! The context is so suitable to melodrama and thus a bittersweet ending.. If the ending was to be bittersweet, i would want to have them wait for each other and go to the respected areas (for JH to the hill in DMZ, for Seri to the mountain) where they can see other across the border once in a year. Although i hate waiting (both in real life as i have a horrible experience of it, and in dramas), this would be very emotional in this context because it would also highlight how in real life Koreans are separated by an artificial border and long to be together.

I think i am the only one who prefers JH in uniform. He looks great in suit too but nothing can beat uniform for me
Also he looks much thinner in suit in comparison to layered uniform. I think that is the reason i like uniform more. HB looks like he lost weight compared to previous episodes, it is understandable as they are working in tight schedules. Hope he will eat well and put on some more weight.
I agree with @sussieh regarding long episodes. Since we only have 16 episodes and so much story left to be told, i think longer episodes are essential. One of the great aspects of this drama that they never dwell on dragging story too much or fill the episodes with nonsense as they don't have enough time for it. To be honest i am happy the episodes are long because shorter episodes wouldn't quench my thirst after waiting a week impatiently
Second oppa and his wife are coming to Seri's house on their first night together after the separation. I hope they will continue where they left off. Now that both of them declared their love for each other, having intimacy wouldn't be too hard, right
I don't expect a heavy make out or something like that but at least a little less than that - more than a kiss on her bed

While waiting for the new episode, I want to share what i like in CLOY besides the main leads
1. Exceptional story: I watched LoFTBS by the same writer but it didn't impress me (tbh i couldn't even finish it) like CLOY did. I have to applaud the writer for analysing every single thing and doing her research before creating this masterpiece. Each and every dialogue has been written with extensive care so they bring many emotion within us very easily.
2. Reference to other dramas: As far as i know they parodied Sky Castle and (maybe MOA? the hospital scene) it was hilarious
I loved how Young Ae unnie was bragging about her son and his teacher Kim Joo Young but there was great plot twist as her son was a horrible student
3. I love the second leads as they are both very realistic people (i was scared a bit because Seo Dan might have been shown as a vengeful ex-girlfriend but thank God they did not). GSJ was one of the people who helped Seri staying alive first he did it unintentionally but later he went against CCK and made his own plan by proposing a fake marriage to Seri. Later on he charged Seo Dan to take action and even this protected Seri from CCK. So directly and indirectly he was involved in protecting Seri too many times. Also he was the one told who Seri the reality of their situation and he was right everything he said! Seo Dan is very pragmatist maybe even more than GSJ. I believe she never loved RJH (the high school love doesn't convince me much), she was heart broken because she had expectations of him as they were engaged for a long time but lost her dreams because of another woman. As GSJ said they can learn alot from each other. They have great chemistry. I hope we will get to see their progress in to love more.
4. F4-the ducklings and Ajummas: No need to say more
5. The contrasts: I love how the writer shows the contrasts between cultures and people, most of the time it creates great comedic results. For example Seo Dan's mother
She is hilarious. She is the most Americanised person both in South and North given the fact that she lives in one of the most anti-American country. JH's father; he is so upright and strict but he has a soft spot for his son although he probably never showed his son. His reaction to lovely dovely couple was hilarious
6. Exceptional acting: No need to say that every one of the actors and actresses in the drama are absolutely fantastic in conveying their thoughts and emotions to us. Even the comical characters are not written too shallow like many k-drama, audience can relate to everyone in this drama. One of the reasons i couldn't finish LoTBS was because characters beside the main leads were too shallow almost to a point like caricature. And i was sceptical before watching this drama as i was expecting the same thing from the writer but i am so happy that she proved me wrong! Moreover there is no idol in this drama, i don't want to offend any one who like idol actors but in my opinion their acting are (most of the time) so bland.
There are more things that i like about the drama but for know i will keep it short
I don't have any patience left until the weekend, i am dying to watch the new episode but i am also upset that we only have 6 episode left. I wish we had at least 20 episodes

I prefer rugged and more masculine looks in men (too much make up or styled hair is a bit turn off for me), HB was so thin for my liking in Confidential assignment but still was very cool with his masculine styling. He is always very composed and posing nicely for media in the airport but that time he was nervous and acting busy with his phone call And he rushed to exit without posing nicely as always hehehe.. But that worked I think, no one noticed SYJ arrival to Korea which was few days later, right?
It is legitimate that we analyse the famous cart again because it was the grocery anniversary a week ago

That pics scream dating to me.. As we know SYJ went LA earlier than HB from the statements of their management companies. I understand HB was the guest of SYJ as he came later. When you have a guest you cook for them, this pics are the proof of it. If they had run into each other and decided to have a lunch, they could have gone to a restaurant. Instead, they stayed together, cooked together and mostly golfed together After the negotiation movie, i thought i was alone in shipping them but i came across this thread. Thank you so much @cybertron for creating it, i quenched my thirst for any possible information or any photos for our ship when there was not much we had.

I don't think second oppa would admit that he talked to GSJ or even if he admits (coz GSJ said he talked to her family to say she is ok) , he wouldn't admit he knew about RJH because it might reveal his previous intentions. I believe he will act like he knows nothing about her stay in NK and the fiance issue will happen because their over intimate photos (e.g. hugging in the middle of a street) will be leaked to media. Giving the fact that Seri had boyfriend scandals in the past but none of them were quite openly revealed like this, she will have no choice but say that he is different from her other flings and introduce him as her fiance in my opinion.

I have been a casual fan of HB and SYJ, watched many of their dramas and movies but haven't really gone beyond that tbh. In general i don't real have any interest in celebrities private life, my shipping culture mostly involve drama characters. For example it was a great buzz regarding PMY and PSJ whether they are dating or not after What's wrong with Secretary Kim. Although i watched it religiously and enjoyed the pairing alot, i never even went beyond that. However after i watched Negotiation, even though HB and SYJ had limited share of screen together in the movie, their chemistry and banters through the monitors were on the roof. Even without watching interviews and promotional videos, i could feel that special chemistry that made me look for the videos where they share the same space, breathe in the same atmosphere
I trust their good judgement that they also feel that special connection between them

HB and SYJ has the utmost respect for each other and their career as we can clearly see from the interviews. They treat each other equally and thus they have good friendship. Respect, equal treatment and good friendship are very important foundations of a romantic relationship. That's why i believe in this ship and it's probability of sailing. I am actually glad that they didn't admit their relationship (if they are together ofc), because i wanted to see them acting together again since their movie. They have great on-screen chemistry and it would be a shame that we wouldn't get to see it because of their relationship status. As far as i know celebrity couples in Korea do not work in the same project. If HB and SYJ admits their relationship after the drama finished, i am sad that we most likely won't be able to see them acting together again. That's why, sometimes i want them to date lowkey so that we can see them together on the screen again in the future, but most of the time my shipper heart want to hear the good news of the relationship confirmation

HB's name was dragged into this scandal when his name was mentioned only one time in the context of golfing nothing more. Heck even Song Seung Hoon who was not mentioned in the chat logs was dragged into that mess by the netizens. HB did well by threatening to sue any defamatory rumours.
Many people will not like what i'll say but I will be realistic. Men thrash talk regardless of their age and nationality. Even women does that but i don't know why people find no offense in it tbh. I am a woman and i know many (maybe not all) woman talk about male bodies in a way could borderline derogatory. I am not defending what JJM and JDG did (especially JDG since he cheated on his wife, it worse than anything) but when a celebrity, particularly a male celebrity does that it becomes a huge deal. I am sure men in everywhere in the world talk like that especially in a very misogynist country like South Korea but since these are celebrities they are the biggest scumbags in the eyes of netizens, such a hypocrisy. Moreover many girls unfortunately do not care about being treated like objects as they prioritise money and fame. These girls flock around rich and famous guys. I am not saying they deserved to be treated like that but this is another part of the reality. So even if HB had involved with such girls i don't think it is worthy of a scandal as i find it unpleasant but normal (I have to say that i am a casual fan of HB so i am not trying to justify his actions in case the accusations are true like a hardcore fan). I am sure SYJ who has been working in the industry for a long time knows the inner works of industry and could judge people around her well. I am not worried slightest bit.
At the first few promotional video of their movie, I found SYJ to be more flirty with HB (idk maybe she does that to her other costars too, i haven't watched her other movie promotional videos). Then HB started to play along and be more open up and later he started to tease SYJ. I think at that point he started to fancy her. I keep watching their BTS and promotional videos too, they (especially BTS) seem so real to me. I don't normally ship real people only do it for movie/drama couples but these two are giving me a fluttering heart everytime i watch them

All OSTs are piece of artwork in my opinion, for example i loved how OST 7 and OST 6 are somehow like a response to one another. I am looking forward to Sejeong's OST <3
Hope SYJ gets well very soon and take care of health. I know drama shooting could be hectic (in my country it is even worse since the episode are twice longer and there are multiple seasons with more than 20-30 episodes so i can understand it) however there is weather condition we have to take into account. Production had to stop filming due to worsening weather conditions in SK as we all know. All the actors/actresses and staff members had to work under harsh snow and biting cold for a long time. As SYJ's management assured that she is treated and now feeling better, we can only she will be alright and wish her good health as she is professional and know what she is doing. And i wouldn't worry about the ratings since it already achieved great success and placed amongst the legends. Let's just enjoy the show as we only have 6 episodes left

Although it won't be so easy, their situation will be much easier compared to Seri and JH since GSJ has British passport (he can go in and out of country freely) and they don't have ties with government like JH. I wish to see their growing relationship more, i love them together
@Ashleigh Adams very well said! I was trying to say the same thing in my previous posts too and that's exactly the reason why i want them to stay in NK but i know it is more convenient to be in Switzerland for the drama sake.

But still, some little gestures seems to escape hahaha, like HB grabbing her arm during 3rd kiss rehearsal (Looking at that gesture, I told myself... “mmm wait, why are you touching her arm while discussing about the kissing angles”)
exactly!!! These little gestures tell a lot. I mean I only started CLOY because i have seen their chemistry and the sexual tension from the little gestures in the Negotiation movie and its promotion videos and i wanted them to let that tension out in a drama

I don't think her father is a spy. As per mother, I thought she was dead therefore her father brought her to his family. Division 11 idea makes me think she is still alive but i don't give to much credit to it as we don't have time go deep in that possible scenario. So in my understanding he mother died when she was baby (maybe while giving birth) so her father brought her in to the family. But her existence is a constant reminder of her husband's infidelity, the step mother hated Seri to her guts and made her feel like an outcast. Seri only wanted to be loved and acknowledged by the family, so she worked harder to be noticed by his father but this made her step mother even more angry as she felt Seri was causing a threat to her sons. As a result, she wanted to disappear quietly from their lives.
Dear comrades, there was a promotional picture where Seri (dressed in blue dress) and JH (dressed in uniform) stand next to each other. I suck at uploading pictures on the forum, sorry
If you remember it, where do you think that picture might fit? I can speculate about almost everything but i can not fit that picture anywhere in the storyline. What is our opinion about that, i am really curious.
