  1. From the trailer bits and pieces we could probably guess that after everything, Yetan might sacrifice to seal up the Guixu again, while Shaodian Youqin and the immortals and void walkers will realise that they were wrong about all these prophecies at birth and disaster-causing fortune etc. Maybe if they follow like the idea that Ashes of love had, they might show that Ye tan and Qingkui are reborn somewhere with no memories of their past and now its Chaofeng and Youqin's turn to find them and reunite.

  2. I have been thinking a lot about the ending of the drama. And while I am not personally satisfied with such an ending, as i never am, i think it stick true to the character of Shim Su Ryeon and Logan Lee.Logan Lee had almost given up living due to his illness and Seol Ah was the one that gave him hope again. So his reason at the time for living was Seol Ah. When Seol Ah died Logan has only one reason left to live and that was to avenge her death. I think the original idea would probably have been Logan dying at some point in the story and joining  Seol Ah. But then he found his reason to continue living in Shim Su Ryeon. With Su Ryeon gone, logan had lost his final reason to live and hence he just waited to fulfill a promise he made to himself to give more children like Seol Ah a chance to achieve their dreams. Once he saw that happen in the form of Bae Rona's first performance, he knew he had finished the work he was meant to do.

As for Shim Su Ryeon,  she was a kind hearted woman. We know this simply form the fact that she was so mentally disturbed by the sudden death of Min Seol Ah in front of her eyes. And mind you this was before she knew Seol Ah was her own daughter and when she had every reason to get herself together - she had Seok Hoon, Seok Kyung and Hae In at the time to think about. This proves that she is someone that truly values human life. So that fact that over time, due to her revenge, Na Ae Gyo, Oh Yoon Hee, and Ha Yoon Chul lost their lives, she was completely disturbed by it. And so her death was her way of paying back what these people had sacrificed for her revenge. I also think that her death was an important milestone for her kids to grow up and become independent, truly independent. We see Seok Kyung live a proper life, having learned form her mistakes, and Seok Hoon also learning to pursue his own happiness in life with Rona. Without her death i think this character development would not have been possible.

So in a sense, based on their characters, i think this was probably the most accurate ending the show could have gotten. But of course maybe the addition of a scene where they meet Seol Ah in the after life and love happily there together would have been quite nice!!

I mean we know that in ep 1 and 2 trailer they use Logan character again to make viewer curiosity high so that we will keep stayed watching it. If they keep do that for next episode people will get tired and withdraw from watching this show little by little.

I am not knowing much about their culture appropriation that they are talking about. But the scene seems not really showing the negative side for me. As we don't know maybe his brother really live in different culture in US like afrika-US culture. So they just want to show the world this kind of unique culture. Its not showing to violence or else for me. Sorry if this will offended u guys as this is my personal opinion.

I don't know how much they can use the Alex character but I hope they thinking the proper way to wrapped up with this character.

I don't know about that. I have a strange feeling that he is actually Logan and the whole wardrobe change and tattoos are actually to coverup the scars he suffered from the blast. Cause otherwise its kinda weird that he has so many tattoos focused on his face and neck and sparsely on his hands.

I don't know... This is just my thought.

I doubt they would kill her but like u it wouldn't surprise me if they did in the latest episodes they keep repeating leaving together after everything is finished and that gives me a bad feeling (too much bad experience with past drama)

I totally get you. when i watched most kdramas, i used to be such an optimist cause 90% of all dramas no matter the genre, had a happy ending. but since i started watching c-dramas, unless its like the idol or teenage dramas mostly aired on wetv or huashi tv, all other dramas, modern or historic have a bad ending. Its made me such a pessimist!!

  5. Ok,

So i just watched the trailer for like the 10th time today and i have come to the following conclusions.

    1. Logan lee is definitely in season 2 and most likely his character although listed as a supporting character is probably a much bigger role than last time. Cause now his revenge plot is not just about Seol-ah. It will include Su-ryeon and maybe even his dad (since Joo Dan-tae used him to get his dad to hand over evidence of what all they did to Seol-ah). I say his dad as well because from the last episode, most would have noticed that although he probably hates his parents for what they did to Seol-ah, he definitely still loves them (almost like Seok-kyung hates Su-ryeon but actually still loves her). So part of his plot will most likely be either getting back the evidence from Joo Dan-tae and getting rid of it or get it back and then convincing his father to turn himself in for his crimes.

    2. Su-ryeon is alive. The trembling hand from below the white cloth on the stretcher like thing is most likely Su-ryeon. She probably got help from one of the paramedics to save herself or somehow Logan managed to get her help before Joo Dan-tae was kidnapped him (like maybe he contacted a acquaintance and asked them to help Su-ryeon stay alive but let the world think she is dead, i.e fake her death)

    3. Oh Yoon-hee is probably working with Logan and Su-ryeon (if Su ryeon has already recovered from her injuries). cause she has no other connections to help her escape, and if she really is taking revenge for Su-ryeon and herself and Ro-na, then she will definitely need help, cause again she now has no money and no connections to help her otherwise.

    4. the person who is messing with Seo-jin is none other than Seok Hoon. I think this season we will see Seok hoon in a more involved manner, with him trying to take revenge for his mother. He figured out that his dad and seo-jin killed his mom and i think Seok-kyung probably had a mental breakdown and hence he wants revenge for both of them. And since he knows, he will get Ro-na's help and maybe be the one actually helping Oh Yoon-hee. In fact a crazy thought was that he may actually have joined hands with Logan lee to get revenge for his mother since out of everyone involved in the story, the only people who truly stood by and supported Su-ryeon were Logan and Ro-na. But considering how cautious a person his dad is it could be unlikely he is in contact with Logan. But him being the one messing with Seo-Jin i am almost sure of (the sneakers shown in the preview clip are definitely his, i guarantee)

Anyway, this is my super over-imaginative theories based on the trailer. But ill stand by them for now. If anyone has another theory on these matters i'd love to hear them!!!

    Cheers for now.

Eh I really doubt SR died. If she did, then season 2 is going to be a whirlwind of rage against Dantae and SeoJin. SeokHoon looks like he's starting to figure out what happened

I actually somehow feel like Seok Hoon is quite aware of all his father's deeds, not just the ones against Seok Kyung, himself and SR. But what i don't get is if she is alive, who helped her? Cause YH was in  no condition to help, the maid was bought over by money, Logan doesn't seem to know as according to the final minutes of the final episode he still thinks YH killed Seol Ah and SR. The reporter also doesn't seem like she knows as when she confronted YH, she asked how she could do such a thing to someone who considered her a friend. So who could have helped SR, unless JDT's bodyguard actually secretly got fed up of the killing and helped SR or she pretended to die and got help from one of the paramedics or doctors at the hospital they most likely took her to, to make it seem like she was dead when she was actually alive?

Whatever it is I just want season 2 fast and i want a lot more of Logan Lee and Su Ryeon and a nice love angle for them would be nice as well. Plus i really hope they don't give up on Seol Ah's revenge. Cause i still think the Hera palace people should have paid more for everything they had done to her.

Also curious to find out the story of SR first husband and JDT and also the twin's biological mother!!

  7. Ok. Hopefully in season 2 we will get to see more of Logan Lee. Cause if SR really is dead, he and the reporter are the most likely candidates to seek revenge for her death. But if she is not dead, even then as a dead person to the world, she will need logan and his money's help to get back her life or continue her revenge, now for both herself and for Seol Ah. Plus she needs to get seok hoon and seok kyung out of the penthouse while the 2 are still sane and alive!!

  8. i freaked for a second after watching the preview and I couldn't find the episode online yet where i'm from. So im left hanging. But this gave me some time to collect my thoughts and spin a theory of what is likely to have happened.

So I believe its the maid and Joo Dan Tae who killed or at least tried to kill Su Ryeon. Im guessing that Yoon Hee maybe came in just in time to catch her at her last few breaths. But my theory is that Yoon Hee and Logan find her and Yoon Hee helps Logan get Su Ryeon to safety as she gives into her guilt of killing Seol Ah. So she tries to do right by Su Ryeon this time around and saves her, letting herself get caught so as to protect Su Ryeon and maybe as her attempt to pay for killing Seol Ah.

The part im still a little confused about from the preview is still the scene where it seems like Logan is being held by Joo Dan Tae and Dan Tae is about to smash his head. But he could be  body double of Logan's that was used to help Logan and Su Ryeon to escape or Su Ryeon or someone else may arrive just in time to save Logan from Dan Tae and Logan and Su Ryeon will go to the states together, maybe even taking Seok Kyung and Seok Hoon with them.

You guys can probably tell im a huge Logan Lee x Shim Su Ryeon shipper. I think they bother had their lives destroyed and their loved ones taken from them. They both deserve happiness and i feel like no one will be able to understand those two better than each other. So even if its a weird relationship, Im still rooting for them.

Hopefully Logan and Su Ryeon become the OTP of this season. I also hope Logan will return for season 2. I remember watching Partners in Justice first season and loving Park Eun Seok's character so much that i looked forward to his appearance in season 2, only to get disappointed that he was a cameo for like 3 episodes only. So hopefully my wish is fulfilled this time around.

  9. Not sure if anyone has already discussed this but I feel like Hye In is actually perhaps DT's biological niece. I find that the ease with which he calls her Joo Hye In is almost as if that is the only name he has every known her by and why would he bother calling her by his family name unless that is really her family name as well. Cause DT is a selfish RickRoll'D. If her name were any different he wouldn't let the world know of her existence in the first place since she is not his own daughter. But if she is his biological niece and his father supported Hye In and SR then that could explain why he let the world think Hye In is his daughter.

Ok. That is part 1 but there is something that im still confused about. Is Min seol ah actually the real Joo Hye In or is Joo Hye In another daughter of SR's? Cause im waiting for the drama to finish airing to watch but i keep getting recommendations to watch scenes and i can't help myself. Now i'm just totally confused and lost but totally hooked at the same time.

    Somebody help....

  10. Not sure if anyone has talked about this already. But i noticed that in every situation that involves SA, JY seems to become more proactive than when he is with others. Like most of the time with HH and JK initially he never managed to say anything real about his feelings (now is a different case though, since now he seems to really be expressing himself more). Even with YI and his piano teacher and with JK grandmother he never really told them anything real about how he is feelings. But with SA, he is always proactive about things regarding her, whether its defending her from that very rude employee of the funding company for his talk concert or for comforting her regarding the DY and MS incident or even when the rumors about them started to circulate. He even almost spoke back to his piano teacher, whom he would rather not talk to at all from what i understood of the latest episode.

    Anyway this is my opinion.

    .............................................

On another note, this might be an unpopular opinion but out of SA and JY, i feel like SA seems to be the more taken for granted character. I know that many people take advantage of JY being a nice guy to get their way as well, but somehow JY still seems to be able to defend himself to some extent by getting angry or upset with people. But SA on the other hand, the only person she has ever show her displeasure about something to is JY. With anyone else she ends up blocking her mouth and not saying anything to them, be it her friends, her own mother and sister. Its like SA can defend others, but she can't seem to say anything to anyone when it comes to herself.

The decoration makes me thinking its a wedding

    My wild thinking :joy:

I was gonna say the same thing. Perhaps at the end of the drama there might be a wedding scene for our OTP!!! I mean in the drama they are not young, Both are 29, so getting married might actually be a possibility!!! But this is just my dream. SA and JY wedding + JY playing piano for SA at the end...

    OR

By a twist of fate, its JK and HH wedding and JY and SA play a music piece together to congratulate them!!!!

  12. @gracebkk I feel like JK might have really liked HH at first when they started dating, cause compared to JY who is very mellow and not expressive of his joy and stuff with her, HH was like a breath of fresh air with his carefree and playful and joyful character. But i guess as all of them drifted apart due to their respective careers, i think the charm that first attracted her to HH faded, while what remained with her was the Traumerei CDs that JY kept sending her for her birthday. And finally when she saw JY at his concert in New york i think her feelings of loneliness as well as jealousy over his success in the classical music work as compared to her's kind of sent her over the rails and made her kiss him, leading to the whole mess we see before us now.

I wonder who has been spilling/spreading the rumors to the professors? I know one person who would say Song Ah approached Joon Young for her own benefit.

    *cough* Jung Kyung *cough*

Another person who came to mind was our very own intern no. 2 Kim Hae Na. If it really is her though, i feel like if JY finds out he is bound to give an earful cause he obviously knows that SA won't say anything and he also knows that HN knows what kind of person SA really is so he will probably unload on her for SA sake.

  14. You know the scene in the preview where in the cafeteria JY asks SA and her classmates if he can sit there? In an ideal setting of this drama this scene should happen after SA confronts JY about telling the professor they are not dating, like as his way of dissipating the rumors that SA is approaching him on purpose and make it rather that he is the one who goes to her of his free will. But knowing dramas and stuff its probably the other way around.

  15. Ok. I have a theory on how the story will progress.

I think at some point, JY's not telling her anything about his hardships and telling others they are not dating, even if its to protect her from the bad rumors, SA is gonna ask to either breakup or just give each other space for some time until JY is really ready.

During this time JY will realize just how important SA is to him, and maybe witness and get jealous of DY being close to SA, and that will make him confess his feelings and about his problems to her.

Im predicting even a possible public acknowledgement to the students at the university that he likes her or that he is the one who is chasing her and not the other way around like the rumors suggest. Just feels like something he might say or do, i don't know why?!!

But anyway, This is my prediction.

one thing, why Joon Young always feel burdened with the piano ? Did something happen with him, Jung Kyung's mom and Jung Kyung ?

Our Jun Young need a little push before the 2nd female lead ruin everything.

Not really, its more i think that JK returned to korea and joined the same school as JY after her mother died and became friends with JY over his playing of Traumerei. Probably at that time JK grandmother was introduced to JY and identified his talent so decided to sponsor and support him and gave the only piano in her house to him so he could practice piano at home, cause he didnt have one. But the piano was JK's mother's. So JY always feels bad that what started his successful pursuit of piano began with JK's misfortune of loosing her mother who seems to be her only support system in her family, as we can all see her father and grandmother have no interest in her unlesss she she does something extraordinary with her life.

Basically JK is screwed up because of the death of her mother and her crazy family and JY is burdened by the piano that represents JK misfortune as well as his own as his entire career is dictated by his father's and mother's need for money to pay back debts that his father keeps collecting.

I wish they would just sell the uncut version to viewers/fans.

Totally agree. I wish they would for so many of the dramas, especially the ones with the open ended concept. Pretty sure before censorship there was probably a proper and mostly satisfying ending for most. But then they went at it with their scissors of cliff-hangers just to annoy the viewers.

  18. I suddenly had this thought. What if JK's jealousy towards SA stems from her insecurity as well. The fact that she feels like JY is at a high up level that she can never reach, but somehow a nobody like SA seems to have been able to click easily with JY, who she knows is not usually the proactive type. But in every encounter of JY and SA when she is present, he proactively takes care of her, making JK feel like what is so special about SA that has gotten JY to suddenly be like that. Cause the look she has when he exchanges his coffee with her's and when he defends SA when HH and JK comment on SA calling DY as CEO Yoon, seems to indicate this.

I think HH is starting to feel something between JY and JK. Will it ruin their friendship soon..?

SA narration at the end eps, was that sad. About she will remember that moment, she will continue to love although she's getting hurt again and again. I don't want a sad ending drama please. I dont need more heartbreaking dramas. Let JY and SA together.

I think this is just a thought she had at that moment. Because she is talking in the present tense, meaning that as JY played the piano and hugged her, she felt that if she can be comforted in this way in the future as well, she wont mind the pain and suffering she might experience from loving someone. I think its very generic in this case and not specifically referring to either JY or DY. But hopefully we get our OTP together very soon.

  20. So far I love the pace of the romance. It seems realistic.

But one thing that keeps getting to me is how inconsiderate both SA and JY friends are. Its like they are so busy in their own world and life that they neither see nor bother to notice their friend's emotions and feelings. Especially in the case of Min Seung and Hyeon Ho. Both claim to be good friends of SA and JY, but are so involved with their own feelings they don't bother ask about their friend's feelings at all. I mean how can a friend, on her best friend's birthday, tell her something like that. Whether SA likes Dong Yoon or not, its just insensitive. That was one of the happiest days of her year and it got rained on by her friend's romantic drama. Couldn't she have waited just one more day to tell SA about the incident?

Also its kinda hilarious that those who have experienced one sided love with their partner/ex-partner (im refering to Min Seung and Hyeon Ho) can't seem to notice the look SA and JY get when ever the 3 of them meet or they talk about one another.

Anyway this is just my opinion. But i think inconsiderate friends are worse than harsh ones.
