Shogun ep 10 it was a nice wrap-up. Yabushige's seppuku...that cliff with the breathtaking view was a good place to die. Toranaga to his falcon...-''Bear many daughters''. I think that is how Toranaga paid tribute to Mariko-sama. Lady Ochiba still chose the right ally in the end. Lord Ishido didnt study the wind like Lord Toranaga. John and Lady Fuji...That was unexpected but lovely... That slightly awkward moment between the two of them...🧡 ctto

Shogun wow...Toranaga and his secret plan...Crimson Sky...but...Hiromatsu was one of my fav characters Highlights from ep 8, for me - the scene when Father Martin found out that his neighbors are the courtesans. Lord Toranaga gave a piece of land to Catholic clergy to build a church. He also gave Lady Gin a place to build her Tea House. The two places are next to each other. Im sure Toranaga did it on purpose. Lady Gin was so happy. - the scene between Mariko and Toranaga and her calm answer - ''Im ready''.

Shogun All the women are intelligent, ambitious, cunning and strong. I dont see a special chemistry between Mariko and John but they had some unspoken moments, just slight, subtle romance, yet endearing. I think Lord Toranaga is amazed with Mariko's intelligence. (of course as much as it possible in feudal Japan. ) Lady Ochiba and Lord Ishido are funny, although I think she is slowly losing her patience. Love the ''one stick of time'' scene between Toranaga and the Lady Gin. ep 7 That young Lord, Toranaga's son...his attempt to kill his uncle was so impulsive and reckless. Poor boy...

Yes, I like the cast, the settings, the costumes and the dialogues. And the mindful acting. Im not curious about the plot and the political intrigues because I already watched the first version with Richard Chamberlain and read the book a few years ago. But I didnt expect some fine humor.. - the welcome scene for Toranaga in the Ajiri village ep 4 The worried Lady from Lord Omi's house - '' Should have bought better sake'' , but when Toranaga left.... she - '' Should've bought the cheap stuff'' - the dinner scene between Mariko and Lady Fuji, ep 5 Mariko - '' One more reason for us to eat''. - the talk between Lady Ochiba and Ishido, ep 5 Ishido - '' I will restore this Council'' Lady Ochiba - ''When''... She is scary.
