  1. :unamused: Just when the unfortunate topic is slowly steering away & focussing on KSH movie, one desperate human (Ms. Hwang B.M who claims to be the “female KSH” in her life story) decided to dig that grave up.

KSH is still so vulnerable in the industry. He’s only starting to pick-up again. Really wish people could refrain from tagging their sudden scrutinised life to his name.

    :sleepy:

  2. Anti-fans boycott 11th Street. Why? “They ignored the fact that he forced his gf to have an abortion.”

Dear lord. Wasn’t this dispelled by certain facts already? The final decision was made mutually. They are adults. It’s their relationship, it’s supposed to be private & personal. Just because one of them is a ‘public’ person & things got exposed unfortunately, it doesn’t give anyone the rights to further stamp one down.

People should really try to know when to let go of their irrational thoughts and spare the others.

Thankfully, 11th Street’s revenue showed sweeeet results after KSH new adverts was put up.

May he continue to have new endorsements & projects coming in to keep him busy and away from bad thoughts.

    :relieved:

  3. Saw a new article.

Guess the imbalance mentality of KSH haters also come from the double standards treatment given to man vs. woman.

I.e. The general public tends to show more leniency to man compared to woman.

Eg. of recent artist’s controversies & their lay-low period.

    1) S.Yeji - the manipulator: Apr-Sep’21 (5mths).

    2) K.JungHyun - the submissive: since Apr’21 (5mths & counting).
    3) KSH - the abortionist: Oct’21 (2weeks).

People are not fond of KSH returning to the screen so quickly (2weeks) because officially, the ban on abortion in Korea was only abolished as of Jan’2021. So the period when KSH & ex proceeded on with the procedure was technically still considered illegal although no longer a punishable offence.

Can’t help it if there’s a group of such who bites on this area.

Life, gain some lose some too.

KSH can’t have 100% of love from all.

    That’s how the world work.

Having majority’s support is good enough.

  4. Aside from haters before the controversy, there’s a new group of neutral-turn-haters after the controversy.

Perhaps not so much about the other matters twisted by his ex but rather the main gist; the abortion.

Not everyone can accept someone’s decision towards abortion eventhough it does not concern them. Beliefs, religion & etc plays a part. So when they see abortion as a taboo, they shutdown people who suggest, accepts and went through with it.

We can’t have everyone love KSH.
We can only hope this group is a minority…

  5. Let’s just hope all these recent revelation will not lead to opening another can of worms.

With KSH name keep popping out in the news, is it making his situation better? Yes, somehow vouching the real him of having a legit nice personality. Yet, might not be the case for the brands he’s still contracted to since his name is tagged to news of his ex & the ex’s hubs.

Lovable ex-gf pls do not add more fruits into the blender already. You are a extremist. Your words killed one and will kill again.

May all of these subside soon…

  6. Contracts are messing people’s mind up.

    SALT:

    1st: Sep2018 to 2019 (Trial period)

    2nd: Sep2019 to 2022 (Extended 3yrs)

3rd: Per KSH request in mid 2020, recontract as at Mar2020 to 2023 (3yrs from revised date) that include a auto yearly renewal till 2027 if no one objects.

    Anonymous netz:

    1st: Sep2018 to 2021 (3yrs exclusive)

2nd: Oct2021 onwards (temporary; any losses will be KSH responsibility).

Main concern is, who truly is liable on the losses caused by the controversy? Solely KSH or SALT or both?

  7. A new article:

Brand Representative via Sports Chosun, “We don’t understand why he decided to ghost us, too. He should have explained the situation and let us handle it with him. Only had he been up front, we wouldn’t have had to cut ties with him.

Note in the above quoted statement: Cut ties ≠ Termination of contract.

Brand representatives should understand that when a controversy happened, it either the agency or in unison with artist that it’s best they release a statement within the day to prevent any deeper misunderstanding. That’s what the agency’s PR team is about isn’t it?

Of course, however, that did not happen until 3days later. Nonetheless, artist themselves have to always answer to their agency first at the end of the day because they are legally binded. What can they expect from KSH. He must have not known of the next step since SALT ENT. is his first agency after theater days.

The penalties are no joke if brands were to terminate the contract. Hope they keep him. Financial woes is the next big thing to further stress him. :pensive:

  8. Even reporter turned YouTuber Lee JinHo didn’t add more fuel over the burning fire when KSH admitted & apologized everything without any excuses. Instead he helped out a little by sharing there’s distortions in the revelation.

Although doesn’t help much but at least aside from the abortion saga, KSH personality on handling the aftermath should be given credit. Friends outside the industry are coming out one after another to support him too. It’s also heartwarming to know brands are slowly putting him back on site.

Hoping for brighter days for KSH.

  9. This is Korea we are talking about. The survival game in K-entertainment revolves heavily around Knetz. Social media in Korea is the spark of fire. Then comes those petitions to the BlueHouse or wherever.

When one is embroiled, the rest remain under the radar. Else it’s gonna be like forest fire; a chain of combustion. Especially when the revealed subjects are considered somehow a big commotion in Korean culture.

And. No rational producers and directors of variety, drama & movie wants their work to flop. Knetz especially plays the biggest part compared to international netz.

Therefore, KSH before Oct18th is everyone’s money tree. KSH from Oct18th onwards becomes a wilting plant, dropped off like hot potato.

Knowing that the whole world knows about his unflattering private life, fact or not, it must have weigh a tonne on his shoulders. We can only hope the best for him after this episode. What’s done cannot be undone.

  10. There’s a new article on a chinese site. Take it with a pinch of salt. Such news might not be facts. :smirk:

    Summary:

The 37yo ex gf exposed KSH because he left her for a 20+yo who is his current gf. Current gf said to be prettier and from a well to do family. KSH is seeing marriage with the current gf. Thus this angered the ex gf.

  11. Apologies made. Let’s not measure the sincerity level. He didn’t even find further excuses to overturn the part (whether if that’s a fact or not) that he’d badmouthed others. This should be enough to wrap everything. He’ll probably rest over this period.

Hopefully k-people can stop pointing fingers over the spilt milk.

  12. Since the agency did not immediately debunk such sensitive controversy surrounding their artist, highly likely there’s some facts to it.

Let’s just say it’s a relationship that ended on a bad note. Not all relationship ends well. There’s no 100% perfect closure for unsuccessful relationships. Not everyone is born with a levelled mind & heart in handling vulnerable matters. We can only try to learn from past to be better forward.

Yet as a K-celebrity, history bites into the future. If only people can be more understanding in embracing artist’s regretful past and look forward to their improvements instead.

    Let’s not judge recklessly.
Hope all will be over soon.

  13. If its him… his future in this industry will be bleak. He’ll be scrutinised heavily. No matter how good an actor he is, keyboard warriors make things worse. Appearing on screen to only affect ratings and tons of criticism is a no-no. This is the realistic world…

Such a disheartening matter to be involve in… :tired:

Really hope it’s all falsified news.

  14. It’s overrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! What to look out for next weekend! :smashes:

Secretly hoped there’s a epilogue of the family picture of DuShik, HyeJin + 2kiddos framed next to DS grandpa’s & GamRi grandma’s. Also wished for their Soeul wedding scene where DS meets HJ’s father again. Imagine when giving HJ’s hand to DS, the dad whispered, “Dont you dare make her lonely you bas*tard!” :yum:

  15. HyeJin once said, “Those what-ifs are pointless. There are too many variables in this world and they’re beyond our control.”

Really hope whatever DuShik took upon himself from what had happened in the past comes from purely self-blaming due to being at a place with people he loves at the wrong timing instead of any grave mistake he made that directly caused the chain of trauma. :tired:

Only 2 more episodes. The preview showed apologies from DuShik, comfort from HyeJin, HaRang with HyeJin? Will it be facing his fears and guilt to finally have closure?

How will the ending be like? Will HyeJin take up the clinical professor job in Seoul? Looking back, there’s a scene where JuRi stayed over her place and she’s looking at some research papers. Is being a prof her dream career?

Even so, hoping for a scene where DuShik live his life fullest for himself with HyeJin in Seoul. She’s a professor while he’s back in the workforce, wearing the suit she bought for him. Spending their time together happily with tons of EROS for a long long time; the no.6 & no.101 item on their bucket list.

In the movie, DuShik decided to have a “job” as the district representative  of GongJin. HyeJin told him to put the hilltop boat back into the sea where it belongs because he has her by his side.. Guess the ending should be somewhere along this line… :smirk:

  16. Oh dear oh dear! I’m guessing ep.13 & 14 is definitely gonna break our heart~ :skull:

The preview showed DuShik being so defensive over the photo that was accidentally seen by HyeJin. And the hurtful expression on her face when she felt the wall between them. :bawling:

In ep.12, DuShik mentioned about attending Arts history class as an elective during uni-days. Did he attend the class because of the ‘Noona’? The woman in the photo, the same woman who said he looks good in the black suit. Is this Noona his first love? Look at his childlike expression when he came out of the fitting room. Or did he and his BFF falls for the same woman? Who is the warm-hearted person DuShik shared his personal side to?

It’s gonna be a heart wrenching week coming up…. :brokenheart:

  17. I can’t help but feel that ep.10 could be a pretty nice ending for the drama.

HyeJin stopped DuShik from saying anything when she confessed. Was she worried he might say “Dentist, I only see you as a friend and nothing more…”? And bam! Our Chief Hong didn’t disappoint the viewers.

6 more episodes, bet there’s a storm coming after ep.11 overflowing scenes of lovey dovey. Urgh!

    - HyeJin got hurt again

    - DuShik blamed himself & initiate a breakup

    - HyeJin returning to Seoul with SeongHyun

    - HyeJin recalls the moment where drunken DuShik teared on her shoulder asking her not to leave

    - HyeJin returned to GongJin to stay with DuShik

    HAPPILY EVER AFTER PLS! :evillaugh:

  18. Next week is the finale!

As i was watching the preview, i cant help but wonder what will happen to the newly minted couple.

Although L.Kang said not to talk about MS and their past, the last preview brought up L.Kang's deppest sadness. His mother.

My view on L.Kang & CY possible thoughts:

MS was dumped because CY all along has feelings for L.Kang. MS died.

L.Kang's mother gave the chocolate to CY for survivial. L.Kang's mother died.

CY got to know the reason why L.Kang was a surgeon who could not operate.

L.Kang might have thoughts of CY being related to every of his worse events.

While CY might have thoughts of herself being the one who brought bad moments to him.

One decided to leave for Greece, and the other never give chase.

However, seems like the couple will reunite in Greece as shown in ep.1.

I want to believe that L.Kang eventually got over his confused and torn state and realise being with CY is what he wants. To be happy. Just like in the past, there's his mother, uncle and puppy.
