Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Kang Mari and Madam Billionaire (which I don't know her name) say they're gonna build another penthouse? There might be a war among the generation of the new penthouse owners, it's might be Zeus palace and Poseidon's, hahaha.
The Hera kids are cute and they fit their roles but I don't think they could carry a makjang show all by themselves without the veteran actors.-

The ending is just ...incredible, it's obvious that KSO read all criticism (including the fake death criticism ) and decided to choose the extreme route aka. killing all the main characters

A "weird feeling" is just a sugar-coated way of calling LLxSR an incestuous relationship since different countries have different laws and moral codes. But still, LLxSR is like a child play compared to the other UK UK shows that I've watched, not to mention nowadays people can find problems with everything and the "Autumn in the heart" era is like a once upon a time story that modern-day audience can't feel sympathetic anymore.

Yeah, as much as I like that crazy idea, I think KSO probably just wanted to get rid of the incestuous judgment that some people are still using to go against LogSuryeon. And this is not a western show, so there is no way BRN/ SH involve in this mess (which means no incestuous romance between SSR's adoptive son/"biological daughter")

Logan told OYH that SSR's real descendant might be still alive (which meant that MSA wasn't SSR's real biological daughter. SSR also didn't do the DNA test with MSA, she assumed that MSA was her daughter.)

That would be really tragic if MSA was OYH's real daughter. But on the other hand, the possibility of BRN is SSR's biological daughter is quite amusing (I don't account the year of their birth because in this drama, people cheated death already so everything is possible). We already saw the police criticized SSR for being in love with her daughter's adoptive brother
Just imagine people's reaction when they find out her adoptive son is madly in love with her biological daughter and they're dating publicly. -

The worst parents on this show are Dantae, Seojin and Suryeon.
If SK is scared of being poor, why doesn't she study properly and work hard like MSA and Rona?
If SK wants to be loved, why doesn't she learn to love and treat other people around her well instead of bullying them?-

But yes, the audience still cheered up for Tyrion tho.
Normally we can pull a gender card to defend SK but SK is just as bad as Joffrey so that slap serves her right. After years of getting away easily from bullying people around her, SK must think she was the Hera goddess and she didn't have to be responsible for her behavior. Defending SK is like defending Korean air heiress Ch* Hyun Min in real life tho.-

That's interesting, according to namu wiki, the main actors/main characters are SSR, OYH, CSJ, which means that all three of them could have a change in their relationship. Personally, I think it would be hilarious if we found out that OYH is CSJ's half-sister, lol.

yeah right, can't deny that SR and RN are good people BUT the facts that SR treasures the children of her enemy more than anything and RN risked her life to earn the trophy for a dead person that she never met are just hilarious and unrealistic af. I probably wouldn't be able to hate SK/SH if I was SR if I had to take care of them for nearly 18 years as a stepmom, but I wouldn't be able to love the twins unconditionally either after I found out that they abused my own biological daughter, not to mention that SK was still a brat. I guess I'm just a normal human being tho.

Yeah, they extended the series to give Sunny and the emperor time to develop their feelings and reconciled in the end, then after the emperor died, Sunny ended up with the emperor's doppelganger who looked exactly like him and even had his creepy attitude. What a wonderful and respectful ending for the original male lead NWS isn't it?
I don't think Logan will suffer the same fate with NWS because as the others had pointed out, people ship SR with Logan, not with her abusive husband JDT, while in the last empress, they shipped Sunny with the emperor.-

The thing that bugged me the most for the last episode of season 2 is :
OYH get away with just 3 years prison time? its less than SJ who get 7 years prison time for kidnapping! Look, I know that OYH really repented for her sins, and got the victim family's forgiveness, but 3 years in prison time for murdering someone is just so unrealistic and incredibly cringey.
I don't know how legal system works in Korea but OYH's murder in my country should be classified as second-degree murder : she's not planned to kill MSA ie. premeditated, but she really intended to KILL. This will resulted in 15-20 years in prison, minus the parole. I know, she turned herself in, and SSR also give her confessions and forgiveness (as victim's family member) but I don't see how it reduced to 3 years. At best, in real life it will be reduced to just 9-10 years in prison ... but well this is drama, and OYH is one of our protagonists so yeah writer-nim can do anything with her charcacters anyway ....
I can see parallel betwen Logan Lee's death and Na Wang Shik's death in Season 2. Both wanting a revenge, and both died in explosions. I don't know what writer-nim plans to do with him later, but Na Wang Shik really did died in the middle of explosions in TLE. I also hated the fact that the creators ressurect LOTS of people in Penthouse when they only did it once in TLE, although I still consider Penthouse to be more superior than TLE for now, it has its fair share of problems too.
Na Wang Sik's case is different, the drama behind the scene made the actors felt disheartened and he no longer wanted to follow that drama anymore, it was blown all over the news and not just a small gossip. The writer tossed NWS aside and pushed the emperor as male lead

I thought that scene was really annoying. If she cared so much about justice, she should have gone to the police and lodged a report. What was the purpose of the scene? Letting EB know she is alive and watching her run off. Then she herself returning to the hospital to rest. Such brilliant writing. Not.
EB is not a psychopath. She is more of a sociopath. And now she is the captive of the crazy housekeeper. Looks like there might not be any saving EB and that will push her Mum over the edge.
Undecided whether to watch S3. Too many fake deaths, it becomes real boring. At the last episode of S3, MSR might jolly well rise from the dead. if everyone's death is fake, why should the poor girl be an exception!
I felt the last episode was kind of lame. And Logan and SSR, SSR's triumphant return to the Penthouse all had an overdramatic hollow ring.
That scene proved that RN is so much like SH's mom SuRyeon, isn't she? lol
RN/SR wouldn't report EB/YH to the police themselves but RN/SR would torment EB/YH mentally and remind them about their crimes. No wonder people said guys attracted to women like their mothers.

Knet just have pointed out that the Korean newspaper that was given to JDT had a freaking big "실패 " (failure) text on the front page, which was a funny hint that the plan of murdering Logan will fail.
At this point, I guess it won't be a big shock anymore if Logan is alive somehow in season 3

Actually did the writer even mentioned Logan has a brother?? I don't know how some fans come out think is his brother because if Logan has a brother where to his parents bother to adopt MSA for bone marrow, unless direct relative can't do the bone marrow operation? Weird I watched another drama with similar illness , the doctor asked the parent to give birth another child in order to save the sick child.
I don't know but most viewers in SK already take it as JDT because his voice after looking at lee ji ah 's deleted IG vid.
About the newspaper, the writer didn't clear tell when JDT got the newspaper & the the day Logan came back & they bombed him. Yes the newspaper gave out the clue that but what JDT got that newspaper say" Logan Lee" "Out" " D-Day" "9" . You missed out the "9" it can means countdown for 9 days or the date 9th or it can mean the time they will activate the plan or the day Logan come back to SK. Then, the writer jumped to the scene Jenny's father come out & Secretary Jo meet him. Hence, we can confirm to say JDT got the newspaper is the day they plant the bomb, nothing is clear yet, as we don't even know how many days pass or time pass. No one can tell. I'm not saying the old man is definitely is JDT. but to me, like in my previous posts, I said never once saw a hired man turn around to say good bye to the target because they don't have to & they are not related to the target/don't have any issue with the target , if the bomb is planted by the guy Logan come together with, he also left , he don't even bother to make sure to see the bomb activate it & he only turned back is not to see Logan but at his briefcase (maybe to make sure it didn't topple) but I still believe the bomb is from the cart pushed by the old man which I going to believe is JDT. I only ever watched those where before the bomb exploded , the man turned around & smirk at the target is usually the one who want to bomb/kill the target but those I watched is usually not K-dramas
Don't worry I know , about word-buzz & audience shipping couples. I just a bit tired seeing people talking about fake death. like I get fans in this thread are tired, maybe to me is way to normal for story plot in all drama. so I can't be bothered. I watched this drama is I feel it somehow tell me about how their country society works. I really hate how some drama portrayed rich people like fairytale princes like some romance drama though I still watch some but those I watch is because of the lead actor/actress.
Yes I also know KSO's drama are dramatic, I've watched a few of her family dramas. I also watched the Temptation of Wife & Last Empress, but I jumped episodes/scenes because a bit boring to me.
Which is why I say, I still think Logan is not dead and I will believe writer will do the same thing they do with Lee Ji Ah by not having PES at the script reading for S3. then when S3 broadcast, PES appear. Sorry, let me be clear, I not going to believe PES is not appearing in S3 until I see official statement by the drama production/his agency. I stated the possibility about if what his fans assumed he not going to appear. Hence, in my previous post, I'm not saying PES 100% confirmed not appearing in S3. I just adding possibility to his fan's assumption. Until the end of the day, I only believe in official statement by both agency & drama production. I don't know/remember regarding Lee Ji ah's case for this season. But I know that time cast are asked to kill off viewer 's theory about SSR being alive (go see all the other cast that appear on variety show e.g. MMTG, Master of house, etc.) but in the end, all the k-viewer's theory about SSR is alive is correct. So if LJA after S1 ended, she also did similar to what PES and none of her agency & drama production confirmed/denied her appearance for S2. PES being in S3 still going to appear in S3. I can say if the casts are going to appear on variety shows again/ talk shows again before S3 broadcast. I will not be shocked the writer asked the casts to kill off the viewers' theory again about Logan being alive.
@Songbae SSR's character sorry- is still too angel for me. Maybe I watched a few China palace-historical drama that make me feel her revenge plan is not that amazed to me and I don't like how she easily forgive people who did to her child. I get that SSR didn't have much attachment to MSA. I still disagree that it make no sense to me she can forgave the twin just because they are still her child & she brought them up & are attached to them. Sorry, SSR been showing anger after knowing MSA being her biological daughter to the way she stabbed Logan for what his parent did , locked the Hera palace parents to confess out their crimes. To me , those scene with/without any attachment to her biological daughter , MSA, she still want to revenge for her daughter's death. Similarly, she knew what her twin did, I know that time she can't tell yet to the twin, MSA was her biological daughter. So without any attachment with MSA, you can vent & do such things to Logan & the Hera palace people but show motherly & forgiving the twin just because they are taught wrongly. Don't bring the twin being abused by JDT. Because being abused by their father, doesn't make a person to bully another weaker person & SSR has the right to teach them straight similarly , I know SSR did in S1 but not for MSA , but what they did with another rich boy where Logan who acted as the P.E teacher told her about it. Still she forgive them way too easily. Although yes the writer showed yesterday SH want to see MSA's tomb, but they didn't show the twin go ( I thought at least they showed, then I will accept SSR way to forgive the child) Even so, I still doubt SK will be nice to RN because she seem unbothered to what she did to RN before. You can tell SK is being forced by SH to help RN. She still the same brat as before. So SH may now remorseful to what he did to MSA, but I doubted SK. Unless SSR really show how to make both of them know what they did was wrong, I will accept her for forgiving them for what they did to MSA. if not I will never accept such character because if i put myself in her shoe, sorry , no I will not forgive because I already guilty for letting my man to abandon her, letting suffer by the orphanage , abandoned again by her adoptive parent; my step children still did this to her with my own eyes (not the scene where the hera palace kids did, but the lobby scene SK did to MSA , though I feel SSR know about what the Hera palace kids did after she made a deal with Logan). Anyway, if I'm in her shoe, I will not forgive even I more attached to the twins because I can't get rid of my guilt to my own child unless the twins shown they repent for their wrongdoing
I totally agree with everything you said. About why the twin didn't face any consequences for what they did, personally, I think there are 2 explanations:
Firstly, perhaps the writer herself didn't take the crimes of the twin (especially SK) seriously, she must have a (naive) belief that since the female lead (also MSA's mom) Suryeon had already forgiven the twin, then the audience should have forgiven them too.
Secondly, the twin is RN's guardians now, and RN shares some similarities with MSA, therefore, the writer assumed that audience should have accepted the twin's "redemption".I also have the feeling that since the twin are just supporting casts and this show isn't a teen melodrama, the writer doesn't want to spend much more time with them and wants to focus more on the drama of the adults

I get that Han Ji Hyun is an outbreak newcomer this year and she has gained a lot of fans (from around 13k followers to 2mil followers on insta) but I don't think her acting skills are on par with her sunbaes Kim So Yeon, Eugene, etc to carry a makjang show where most main characters (and actor who play the said characters) are 35+. HJH might work with melodrama for young people first before she gets to that phase.
Needless to say, I think this show wouldn't draw that much attention if it ended on a happy note instead of this bittersweet ending
