    Online, I saw how disappointment can turn into toxicity which seep into celeb shipping if expectations aren't met. As a shipper, I always remind myself to ship maturely and responsibly, and avoid furthering the toxicity that is prevalent in the different fandoms. 

     

    So while our community is smaller in size, we are composed of fans of both JSM and KJK. As we know, they are subject to abuse and online hate, too. it is best to stay away from the noise and block out the toxicity from social media.

     

    In short, let's b positive. :)

    People in this community have a variety of reasons and levels of shipping Kookmin, from just liking their onscreen chemistry to shipping them due to their interactions irl. We are not here simply because we want to prove our ship is "real"

    - and if anyone backreads the thread, we actually have discussions where we address the concerns of co-shippers because our views around shipping them are not always homogeneous. 

     

    But one thing is for sure: we appreciate and adore Somin and KJK as individuals, with their own traits and personal values which we believe are compatible with each other.  

     

    If anyone wants to understand this community in detail, the discussions in Kookminclan RunningMan's earlier comments and YT channel will offer a better context than skimming through the latest threads here. As for the gifs after RunningMan, these are for our fellow shippers to enjoy - not for people who are just dipping their toes into this community. 

     

    If you like another pair, we don't force anyone to like/ ship Kookmin, please let us have our freedom to enjoy our little community.

    Hi, I suggest these episodes:

     

    372 - Banter about love ft Somin the Love Prosecutor

    425 - Jong Kook's eyes when he smiles / "it's hard to become Jong Kook's wife" 

    488 - KJK observed Somin while she was snow watching and then got hit by the opening door
    486 - inflatable tennis game

     

    Of course the classics are the Tofu episode (387) and Kookmin Clan episode (434). 

     

    I also suggest to watch Kookminclan RunningMan's videos in YT and then read the discussions under the comment section. A lot of good quality discussions and ideas have been brought up there and adds a lot of insight into KJK and Somin as individuals. 

    Regarding the MUD tarot card reading, I have to say that Somin checks a lot of boxes there:

     

    ✔️ Intelligent - these attributes are also a part of Somin. She's well-read and she even published her own poetry. Also, whoever reads her interviews can see that she's not just someone who knows a lot but also someone who has accumulated wisdom and varied interests. 

    ✔️High compatibility with KJK - a previous RM episode with Tarot reading says that Kookmin has high compatibility

    ✔️ Associated with red or pink - how many times have we referenced red and pink to Somin? :lol:

     

    (other commenters under the YT vid says that one other criterion is the person can control KJK. For me, Somin also fits that. She does not "control" KJK like a master to a slave, rather she tends to control KJK's attention and temper. KJK seems a lot happier when she's around.)

     

    So yeah, I think Somin is a realistic/plausible candidate if we are going for the things being revealed in the recent MUD tarot card reading.

    As a Somin fan, I noticed that Somin is really protective of her privacy. She shares just enough to let fans get a glimpse of her personal life but she doesn't give away her private life that easily. Even her poem about love in the book she published is mysterious and one needs to be imaginative to get what she's written.

    In one of past Somin's IG live - the one where she took the elevator with Wookmin to search where they parked the car - one fan complimented her about the songs being played in the car. Somin told the fan that Wookmin is the one who picks the songs when they are together. 

     

    So in this case too, it's likely Wookmin's phone

    Turns out that the flowers in Somin's latest IG post are not roses. The flowers are called ranunculus, symbolizing charm, a trait Jeon Somin has an endless supply of.

     

    We know that Somin loves flowers. I wonder was there someone who gave Somin those white ranunculus flowers? I'm curious.

     

    Ranunculus looks so pretty and elegant, yet simple. The flowers' meaning, "to never forget how charming you are" - are really an apt message for Somin at a time like this.

    The word he said was "Gwaenchanasseo" meaning 'it was good' or 'it was alright.' The root word in Korean is 괞찮다 or Gwaenchanda. In Korean grammar, we remove the 'da' from the root word when speaking and then add the tense. So when you hear people saying gwaenchana(yo) it's basically in present tense and when it is connected with the - sseo(in this case Gwanchanasseo) then it's in past tense form.

     

    Tl;dr: It's pretty much just the same, the only difference is the tense. 

     

    As for my opinion, I also think that it was a way for Somin to calm down.
