    That is an advantage that CFY/SYR had. They are so good together.

     

    I can't wait to see Dylan/SYR interacting. I really want them to be great together. NingSang chemistry has to be awesome. Let's hope that charming boy and charming girl = greatness.

    Thanks @epinklyn for sharing. I'm enjoying the videos. Doesn't help me move on from Arthur as NQ though lol. 

     

    I want some scenes of SYR and Dylan like this just to get the feel of what kind of chemistry they will have. Also want a photo shoot of them together. They need to promote their lead couple.

    Exactly.  It says a lot about the appeal of SS character and SYR's acting that SS is still so loved despite the weak writing in the drama.  I know what you mean about NQ. I think he is an interesting if not always likeable character on paper but I found the drama writing for him was very flat.  The drama never gave much of a feeling of character growth.  Despite everything that happened to him in the drama NQ felt like the same person at the beginning though to the end of the drama.

    I agree. SS character is loveable even without much screen time. SYR gets credit for doing and excellent job with what she was given. 

     

    I hope that s2 does a much better job in character growth and development for our leads SS/NQ. After all s2 is all about them two.

    This is why I admire SS. She doesn't give in to a man. She respects herself and gives him freedom to decide. Even though she doesnt do martial arts she is still powerful on her own.

    I used to purely ship their friendships until today... and Now... The more I look at them... the more.... Can I change my mind???:heart: *Wink wink wink* :joy: 7 years gap is not much though. Mine perhaps still playing in the kindergarden :joy:

    You can ship whoever you want as friends or more. Only time will tell what these two are.

    Well she must be special to him if he treats her differently. I hope they continue being friends and perhaps act in another drama together. 

     

    I want eng subs for Time teaches me to love. I did see in a fan video that SYR gets some kissing scenes. I was like SS what are you doing? :joy:

    I've read about the hate Shen Yue gets so I would hope her fans won't be hypocritical but sometimes fangirls can be so ridiculous.  It is  good you are a nice fan :)

    @raziela i do think most will be nice. There are a few fans that are over the top but we shall see. I'll make sure to spread love for SYR with the DyShen fandom.

    I truly dislike and not interested in discussion about entertainment business world. But, I would raise my comment in  it. For your question, Yes, maybe the agency influenced the production team (incl. Scriptwriter/director) with "something", since it is very obvious that they are trying to promote mss, even after the drama ended. Now, the agency finally get what they wish for!

     

    Believe it or not, I heard Cagencies are often playing dirty. Whenever things related to promoting their actresses/actors, they can go beyond that we can hardly imagine. 

     

    @n3bula saying SYR ugly is the most awful and hateful comment to hear. However, it is indeed I like YHY too. For me, she is the most beautiful among the EN female chacracters. But, too bad, people should suck it up the reality that "even though you are beautiful, but dont think too beautiful":tounge_xd: it doesnt mean, all beautiful female should get what they wished for, like being chosen to be female lead, be chosen as to get attracted by more men, unless those idiot men only interested with "white chicken thights" without considering the value and the inner beauty/quality of that girl.

    In fact, as NQ said before, he prefers a girl with a quality than beautiful appearances. That's why he chose SS. Suck it up the reality, whether those opposite shippers like it or not:P

    @Snow Guardian it is a shame that they play dirty to promote actors/actress. That kind of promotion has a negative effect on me. I'll end up disliking the character. Plus I think the actors should not allow that to happen. If you're talented there is no need for that. Oh well it is what it is. 

    Yes those are horrible comments. SYR is charming, talented and pretty. She shines on her own. That NQ is a smart boy he chose the best girl :).

    I binged watched the last 15 or so episodes that I've been putting off. The ending fight scene with Xia Hou was great! That being said it was better in the novel (sorry). I wonder why the scriptwriters downgraded SS's character so much? 

    @crackaddict I've read so many comments and yes the only reason they like MSS/YHY better is because they are beautiful. Their argument is SS is ugly and therefore she cannot be the one NQ chooses. It is sad they think that. 

     

    Most of us wonder why SS character was downgraded so much. I really have no clue as to why that is.

    SYR have been already being abused by those MSS's childish fans, and I hope for the next season, SYR would be okay and get more loved. Jia you, SS:heart:SYR.

    Dylan/Shenyue do have a big fan base but I don't think most of them will be mean to SYR. Dylan fans will support him in everything he does. As for Shen Yue fans they are always having to defend her because she also gets a lot of hate. They call her ugly, fat etc. So them being mean to SYR would be bad.  If Dylan and SYR get along well and they have chemistry they will like her.  As a fan of DyShen and now SYR I will support them in whatever they do.

    I agree. They should just stick to the MSS song for NingShan that's it. No need to use other songs that belong to NingSang. I wish all songs were available on spotify but not all of them are :(

In Season 1 NQ only got to kiss SS one time and got kissed one time from MSS. Season 2 will be a lot lot lot :joy:. 

    Arthur and SYR are cute together. 

     

    More kisses between NQ/SS  are always welcome lol.

    It is a pity. SYR should be respected as the lead. I am sure eventually SYR will become very popular she is very talented.

    But in my opinion, I think the screenwriter will gonna make their relationship stronger than season 1 if she's folowing the novel. However, since she likes to add in unnecessary love interest scenes, I make a guess that the story line would involve love interest between NQ-SS-YHY, or even MSS too. Anyway, its just my assumption.  

    I dont think I am gonna following s2 closely like I did in s1. I dont wanna get my heart explodes with big disappointment after reading the novel. *fingercrossed*

    I hope they don't do that. If they change SS/NQ story then they might as well just say it's not based on Night Fall. Mao Ni did an excellent job writing for them to mess up his masterpiece.

    I do think it's highly possible they will make a triangle now with NQ/SS/YHY or a square NQ/SS/MSS/YHY. If they do I'm going to be very upset.

    I really hope screenwriter/director come to their senses and do a better job. If I were Mao Ni I'd be complaining.

    but i read the novel with the actors' faces pasted into the role. for those interested in reading the novel, do it. the female characters are so bada$$ in the novel. well, basically just about everybody is terrifyingly strong in some way. 

     

    i'm waiting for all episodes to be subbed but am disappointed to read that YHY has an implied romantic story line with NQ in the show (that true?). in the novel, he's mostly scared that she's gonna kill him and Sang Sang lol. i lowkey stopped watching the show because i didn't care for NQ and MSS's interactions...so i'm waiting for that arc to be done and over with in this season. this season had an amazing OST, hope that will remain true in the next season. 

     

    They did make it seem like YHY is in love with NQ. It is annoying but it is what it is. 

    I hope s2 has a great soundtrack as well.
