@dukesa1122 don’t know why they were posting that news this week but Forbes 2018 list was released in April last year, I think they stop collecting the actual data in February - March.

I can undertand their complaints but just to put things in context from the good data survey point of view, the kiss scene I posted was the hottest topic in k drama world in the past 3 days but despite that it’s not even the most viewed/popular kiss scene this week on TVN’s main YouTube channel.
Since there are no TVN awards where we can vote for awards, if we help in these surveys right now it will greatly improve their chances of topping the Korea Forbes list of Top celebrities which will be out in 2 months.
Forbes Korea Power Celebrity List ranks Korea’s top stars using various metrics, such as most-searched names on the Internet; income and donations to charity; endorsements; number of magazine cover appearances.

I have noticed that our participation numbers on Twitter and the Korean search portals is great but we are really lacking numbers when it comes to Instagram(TVN) and Youtube(TVN) which could be a reason why the drama has not been fairing better on this survey. The fact that PBG and SHK are still rank 1 and 2 is proof that we ought to be faring better on the drama rankings.
For example, the kiss scene has really low views on YT despite being an extremely hot topic on all social sites this week.
Everyone please keep supporting the drama and actors on different sns.
The song that KJH sings in the next episode, Drunken Truth by Kim Dong Ryul, I wonder if the lyrics mean that CSH has still not said “ I love you” when KJH serenades her with this song.

Thank you to the 15 PBG fan unions , providing such a lavish spread for the entire cast and crew, extremely generous and thoughtful. I know that it must have been challenging to coordinate amongst so many different groups and still keep it a surprise, congratulations on such a successful fan project!
Our main leads were not looking at each other but their reactions after the director effusively praised their chemistry was so cute. Big smiles all around.

A korean YouTuber shared a semi interview with this Korean guide in Cuba who was part of the crew in Havana. I think he thinks the drama is over because he tells the travel guide that he will only post this video once he returns to Korea and the drama is airing.
3:00 onwards, he informs us that the travel guide was with the cast (pbg and shk) everyday during the shoot.
4:00 onward, he wanted to ask her more questions about the whole experience and how she was contacted by the crew. She is slightly hesitant but answers his questions, she tells him that someone approached her on SNS with questions about Cuba at the time she didn’t know she was being approached for a drama, she had no information about the Actors, drama and channel.
Her work was mainly with PBG and his team but she does share that when she met SHK and made eye contact, she was flustered and couldn’t introduce herself.She says that PBG has a really good personality and manner, she compliments his entire team too.
PBG used to ask her questions about how to talk to locals and referred to her as Noona.
He asked her if she knows how the drama ends and she doesn’t.
@africandramalover if you are interested in seeing all the places in the drama then the tour guide might be helpful, this is her official sns and she offers tour packages which involves the drama locations.

SpoilerIt’s the Habana Suite at Hotel Saratoga in Havana, they probably shifted the furniture around for aesthetic purposes.
SpoilerBut the stupid continuous and curve on CSH’s balcony kept throwing me off because KJH and CSH were making out on an individual balcony.
A quick search of google shows that the only floor which has separate balconies in that hotel is the 3rd floor ( the hotel claims to have 6 floors on their website, if the counting throws you off because of how floors are counted in your country then just go from the penthouse to the bottom and subtract 3 floors).
SpoilerThe Habana suites are situated on the 1st floor and 3rd floor, given how CSH’s balcony is too elevated to be the first floor so it’s certain that CSH is on the 3rd floor.
Looked on the hotel website and realized that KJH is probably staying in the room adjacent to her suite, which would explain why his balcony is individual and she has a continuous and curvy balcony. The red arrow indicating his room and the blue arrow indicating her room.
SpoilerSo did they end up in his room and how did they end up on his balcony, please watch episode 11.

It’s a really good thing SHK is so regular with her yoga classes, that’s the only reason her back didn’t crack during that balcony kiss.

SpoilerIt’s an article which criticises the drama and crew. Says the story lacks content,critical of actors, says the ratings are not good enough and it’s not been able to connect with the audience, says the crew decided to sell the script books to create buzz for the drama.
The tone of the article seems to reflect the reporter’s personal gripes with the drama which is why the comment section is flooded with comments, defending the drama, actors and others question the reason behind the writing of such an article.
Some of the audience comments are negative too but there are always some who hate.
The drama seems to have connected with this audience member though, a little baby boy.

I read that SJK has taken up a new project this year, he will be shooting a movie after Asadal. I really hope that means that SHK will not limit herself to only doing BF this year.
Did you all see this video on YouTube, it’s old about 5 years ago. What’s weird is that it looks like a fan edit but it’s actually posted on one of SBS’s official channels.
They made a fan video for Kim Tan (The Heirs) and Oh Young ( TWTWB).
I didn’t know they had an actual major broadcasting channel shipping them, lol. LMH is a huge fan maybe they could work together once he is discharged from the army in April this year. That would be a casting coup for any writer, director and network.

There was some TV show where Hong Seok Cheon mentions how she and some of her fans ( I think including some of her very old and loyal Chinese fans) had a meal at one of his restaurants for her birthday.
I was clarifying the bit about the brother in law because fans might have thought it was sent by SJK’s older brother.

I think the balcony scene must have been shot more in depth than we know right now.
Some of the staff had taken test shots of the location and they had placed a mike at the bottom of the balcony where the couple were kissing.
The crew was initially shooting from the next balcony but the kiss shown in episode 10 is shot from at least two balconies away, so it makes sense that they would place a mike there.

When the old Cuban gentleman asked KJH if he loved CSH and KJH wouldn’t give him a straight answer, he said he missed her a lot. I think the reason why he wouldn’t say so isn’t because he wasn’t sure about his feelings.
It’s just that KJH is that much of a romantic that he wouldn’t feel right telling someone else that he is in love with CSH before he can confess to CSh outloud that he is in love with her. Two episodes ago he told her that she was the reason behind him understanding the true meaning of love but he didn’t say he was in love with her.
KJH, you are such a fluffy marshmallow.
Interested in everyone else’s opinion about why KJH wouldn’t say he was in love with CSH to ole Samuel.
