Yes!!  He is really observant and so helpful. Volunteering to dive, wash the life boat, contribute to cooking ( the tough pancake) and almost anything. Really love the editing team and  their captions too! They must be Hyuk fans. I

Hihi yea I was just reading that caption and felt like they all fell for him too.  Oppa does deserve more love :).    Although, I think since cooking wasn't his strong point, it was better for him to assist.

He was actually very good on the paddleboard! I kept expecting him to fall, considering what they wrote in the articles, but he didn't! I was surprised by some of his saves :)

I wonder because he said that he had fun, but from what I see he doesn't seem to have hobbies! He even enjoyed washing the rubber boat! :D He clearly doesn't go camping (the way he assembled that tent made that clear :) ) nor does he do any water sports. It seems like he just boxes, works and spends time with his family, which is commendable, but it would be nice if the girls would teach him some water sports, as he enjoys them so much.

What show was he on with Choi Yeo Jin?

Hihi yea that's why I thought he was too concentrated on boxing since he's an action star to spread it with other training for core balance, but like you said he still did good save.

Sound kind of sad to say he has no hobbies and to think someone commented he was a rascal on his ig and that he should be spending more time with family.  I can't blame him for making his ig private.  I'm just happy seeing him enjoy himself

And that sound effects when he's pulling the pin...hahaha ..like some superhero bending metal.. :joy:

They are really jovial and funny. I thought I might be bored watching 5 people on a Yacht..surprisingly I'm not and it's pretty entertaining. The editing team has done a fantastic job!

Haha yea too many moments to pick from.  It was funny when he got scolded for wasting water too...he was so good in real man.

We always say he was a manly man type, but when they threw the flowers out when he wet his hair I just die of laughter.  It's funny that he look so unstable on the board, but he's also so quick to catch himself.

JH 'Cooking Dung Hand'... Oh god! :joy: Why does he have to make everything strange and complicated? Even pancakes?!

Lol, we should just be proud it's in one piece compare to family outing cooking!  Enough confidence to feed the others with it vs. eating it by himself.

Sugar and fat can't stay longer in his body consider his regime exercise, boxing and stuff. lol. I follow a celebrity who always posted all the delicious food he ate and restaurant he went but never got any fat on his body. Same like JH he like to went to gym too. so jealous for someone like me who like to eat but too lazy to exercise.

I'm too lazy to exercise too so I still eat the bad food, but not as much of it.

Kind of a random post, but has anyone ever tried making one of Hyuk's famous hot dogs? I tried my hand at it for lunch yesterday (tried to follow what he was doing on that Healing Camp episode) and it came out pretty delicious, I must say! :yum:

Well I always eat my hotdog with ketchup and mayonnaise anyway I just don't put fry egg in.

  7. I was wondering how Vietnam was going to advertise for the premiere of swordsman.  In a recent article, the headline was something along the lines of Jang Hyuk was just added to being one of the coolest/bad RickRoll'D parents on the big screen along this list of such actors as Liam Leeson, Sylvester Stone, and Bruce Willis who would do anything to save his daughter.  That's how they caught the attention of the audience and went on to the synopsis.

The one I find interesting is an article they use title "Swordsman has a hot star that use to be a rapper".  Lol, not sure if that would get me to read the article.

Hihi @azureblue7I so agree with you and I miss Lee Gun too!  Doesn't he usually get tired around that time on other variety shows though?

Actually I'm rather surprised. I thought that Jap & Korean wives are more typical. I know Jap men don't prefer their wife to be working because it would mean that the men is unable to support his wife. I had the impression that K wives are also typical in the sense that housework & cooking is the wife's chores so when JH said that he's grateful that his wife cook, I got quite surprised.

Maybe the this generation of young married couples are different as in the sense that both spouse share equal house chores but older generation....

I think that doesn't reflect their culture, but more of JH's character or who he is.  My parents definitely come from that typical time and culture, but my dad also help my mom out with cooking and cleaning.  Although, I think more men are learning how to cook or can cook now as they stay single longer or marry later.

Haha! I'm only halfway through ep 3 and I'm also enjoying it a lot. Hyuk is so interesting to watch. He can be super cool, serious, sexy.....then suddenly  dorky, funny and cute! I'm loving the combination of people on board too. They are really nice.

HIhi for some reason I always thought you're one of the first to finish the episodes because I guess you always be posting clips up.  I think the show is gaining popularity or people are noticing there's more interest because on some sites I saw 3 eps posted up on same day.

  10. HIhi yes Ep 3 was so much fun to watch.  JH is so strong on the beach  I mean look at how many things he carry on one go compare to everyone else.  The way he just threw the sleeping bags though crack me up when soyou was so careful with it at first.  I can't help thinking of the grand canyon when he and the captain went up smoothly and the comedian guy stop at the hill and had to jump up.

Then when JH mentioned he wish others wouldn't feel pressure or try so hard and he had the same symptom.   I mean fighting his phobia etc, but like they said all of them are hard working and I think that's why we enjoy the show.  They're all good people.  As far as comedian trying too hard..I think it's just part of variety persona and he's been on more of those shows so hard to take it away.  Although, I still consider it on mild side if I look at majority of those shows.

JH was so happy just eating the vegetables or how he was set on ramyeon as the worst case scenario.  He's just very easy to please as long as there is something is so cute.  It goes in hand with what he say about wife and cooking too that they the guys should just be grateful that the wife cook.

Thanks for the welcome, guys! :heartxoxo:

Oh cool! Glad it found its way here! :) I had fun making it, haha. And yes, he was so divine in FTLY that as soon as I finished I watched Beautiful Mind, Chuno, Thank You, and am currently nearing the end of Bad Papa.

Hi Darla, welcome to the group.  Do you have a favorite out of the ones you watch so far?

Zoi posted this heartwarming scene from movie Swordsman. Taeyul is so sweet...showing his affection through his actions.

Sweet.  Swordsman is showing in Vietnam on 11-13-20.  I also hope it does well there.

Can I repeat this again? Why is he looking more handsome now? He looks like those days when he acted in FTLY or SOGC..

I have read that regular routine exercise does make make people younger and JH definitely has that down ::).

Lol guys, remember what we were talking about few days ago about someone confusing NGM with JH? Look at this article:

    http://koalasplayground.com/2020/11/04/namgong-min-captivates-with-rugged-charm-in-new-drama-stills-for-awaken/

I personally don’t see the similarities in their looks though, but both are similar in the sense that they have very good nuanced and eye acting and are great actors. ^_^

I do like NGM too, but I don't think of JH.  This is the first time I think really seeing NGM with facial hair though out of all the dramas I watch so it was surprising.

@dramafan33  Have you seen KNG's yacht show or Ocean Pathfinder?  I think their yacht is so comfortable looking right from the get go.

I just tried on another computer but it still say I am not allowed to vote coz it is the same IP address. I guess I have to go another location if I want to vote again.

Although, if they're going by ip won't they know we're not from SK anyway?  When is the last day for voting?

  17. 18 minutes ago, Prettysup said:

I just keyed in some random 11 numbers coz I dont have a SK phone number anyway, and I don't know how to refuse also haha.

ah shoot I didn't do 11 digits.  It did thank me for the vote, but I can always try again on another computer.  I'm glad that this year doesn't seem as complicated as other years.  On a previous tutorial for another actor I saw they had to make a log in.

No no, you can only vote ONCE on a single IP address.

If you read what I wrote, only the second one was successful, not the first or third.

So did you list your contact info or refuse.  I think I read we have right to refuse.  Lol, anyway completed.  I need glasses or maybe too early in morning.

시각 과 (visual effects) for anyone who want to copy this into the form.
