That is my understanding too from that exchange between TE & SJ when the latter questioned TE why she let go of Luna.

Additionally, I am guessing we will see SJ eventually accompanying TE to KOC. How could he let her go alone, after confessing his love? That completes the scooby gang in KOC!

Ah ah, I just come from BOD blog, and writed that too. :D

  2. Potential second plot-hole.
    This is much more serious!

Refer to my previous explanation here:

    It's about Lee Lim (LL).
    1994, LL2.
    2020, LL1.

    - LL1 goes back to the past in 1994, at the same time as LG1.
    - It is the only way for them to travel in time, they must be together in the in-between world, to reunite the flute.
    - LL1 is killed by LL2.
    - LL2 continues to live his life until 2020.
    - He knows that he will be killed by himself if he travels in time.
    - Instead, he continues to live and to make his plans.
    - Then how does LG2 go back in time?
    - He absolutely needs LL2 to do so.
    - I'm talking about the first time travel! Not the one prepared at the end of episode 15, of course.

The logical resolution of this situation should be:
    - LG2 is present in 2020.
    - LG1 comes from a previous timeline now disconnected.
    - LG1 does not acquire the memories of LG2.
    - The two Lee Gon are now separate individuals in 2020.

    In your opinion?
    Plot-hole?

  3. I felt like a plot-hole in the process used in the drama.
But in the end, if you think about it a little bit, I think it makes sense.
    I'm explaining the situation.

    1994, LG2 child.
    2020, LG1 adult.

    New explanation.
    - LG1 is in 2020 and travels back in time and saves LG2 in 1994.
    - Then LG1 goes back to 2020 using the in-between world where 4 months inside is equal to 26 years outside. When he sometimes goes out of the in-between world, he generates minor changes in the time frame, and meets Tae Eul before the first encounter he had in the drama.
    - During this time LG2 lives normally, except his relationship with Tae Eul which will be slightly different.
    - LG1 arrives in 2020 finally.
    - We don't see what happens to adult LG2 in 2020 during this time, but it's obvious.
    - LG2 does the same thing as LG1: go back in time in 1994.
    - LG2 had a slightly different life than LG1, because of the minor changes that LG1 caused.
    - When LG2 travels back in time, it is assumed that he will accomplish the same thing as LG1.
    - Instead of an infinite loop LG1 and LG2 become the same character. Since there are minor changes between the two characters, LG1 then acquires all the memories of LG2 in addition to its own.
    - LG2 somehow ceases to exist. He becomes LG1 as soon as he arrives in 1994.

    Old explanation.
    - My problem here was that LG2 won't accomplish quite the same things as LG1, it's almost impossible, there will always be minor variations.
    - Moreover LG2 will reproduce the time loop to infinity with LG3, LG4, etc..
    - All are supposed to reproduce the case so that the loop remains closed.
    - However, because of the minor variations, LG1 is supposed to have the memory modified to include all the changes. An infinite number of changes.
    - Which means his brain is just going to explode.

I had initially taken the process linearly.
But with my new explanation, I feel like things are consistent.
Is that consistent with the rest of the drama?
    What do you think?

I wanted to correct this. They actually caught him in ROK.

The scenes happened in this order:

    1) LR and PM meets underground in KOC. LR chokes her.

    2) LG and SJ crosses to KOC, time stops. LR is still in the middle of choking PM. LR leaves.

    3) LG is back to business in KOC. He catches up with what’s been going on and he stops traitor from leaving the country.
    4) SJ meets mother in KOC.

    5) LG and SJ sits by the pond and had a sad talk in KOC.

    6) LR is seen entering ROK. LG’s “mother” poisons herself. Time stops (LG and SJ enters ROK).
    7) They catch LR. Don’t ask me how SJ made it that far. Wasn’t he supposed to have been frozen? Lol. But it is what it is.

    8) SJ and JY both steps up to the the one who escorts LR to travel back. SJ tells JY, “I told you many times to get lost and go to your own world. Give me the piece. When should I go?”

Verdict: LR was caught in ROK.

    OMG !!!

Really sorry, but it remind me this :

1 episode left! :bawling: I will miss TKEM a lot!! These past episodes have been so emotional!!!:tears:

I suppose they eat poisonned food.

PM's mom has been swapped By LR.

LR made arrangements somehow to kill Se-Jin in LA to Stop LG doing another Time travel to stop coup de'tat or Kill LR in hopes that he will not leave KOC.

PM mom swap ! Woooooooo! When where how we saw this ?

It's just because she don't know a fish name ?

My google translation was very imprecise here. Here it talk about a pasta food they eat together.

Who is Se-Jin, and why this person die in Los Angeles ?

  6. I'm summarizing Tae Eul's dialogue with that total loser Shin Jay.
Whom I had the pleasure to see getting beaten up by Lee Lim who smashes him in the face with a stick.

This guy was born to be bullied.
SJ - I've secretly loved you since I've known you all my life.
TE - OK, but honestly, I don't give a shlt.

TE - I'm mad about another guy you're less than a cockroach to.
TE - Now give me the piece of flute, or I'll smash your face in with a taekwondo high-kick.

Ma friend, I’m trying to understand where your confusion is but I’m not entirely sure what you mean.

    1) care to elaborate more?

    2) I thought it was understood that LG gave one half flute to SJ and they planned to travel back on a certain date and time? It was specifically shown but it was implied. SJ will bring LR, who will be able to access the portal with the flute in his hands. If SJ ends up giving the flute to JTE, she will not go alone, she will take LR with her. At the end of episode 15, JTE already took LR. I assume she asked Luna to helped her steal LR.

    Wooooo!!

Thank you, you just cleaned a dark area.

So, Tae Eul have to go with Lee Lim. Yeah, I missed that.

Last part of the episode was the most hidden part, and well.... I loose my concentration at this point.

  8. Episode 15.
I've detected confusing situations, unknown flashbacks, and so on.
Don't ask me why or how, I don't know either: but I understood the whole episode or almost!
My pleasure as a spectator was therefore above the ordinary !!!
My 3rd favorite episode ex-equo therefore.

I was able to identify a lot of characters that were definitely useless since the beginning. I don't make the list for the moment, but it is getting bigger and bigger. I don't make any additional comments about the skills of the writer, it would be very badly received at the moment. And I prefer to wait for the last episode to take her down from A to Z. AH AH AH AH!!!!

There are two potential plot-holes. (attention, I do not say that it is, it remains to be checked).
The first one: The retro-version of Lee Gon's memories in a double time loop.

At the end, Lee Gon and Jo-Yeong go into the portal to go back in time. All right, that was the duet I had in mind from the start.
But in the meantime, I also thought of Tae Eul, my current VOTE.
Except: they can't go back in time if Tae Eul isn't there at the other portal too, with the other piece of flute that we assume she got from that loser Shin-Jay.
Or maybe there's something I missed, and Lee Gon never gave the flute piece to Shin-Jay? (we don't see him doing that, so it's a grey area). Just another confusing undisclosed thing that's getting us into trouble. Maybe Lee Gon still has both pieces of the flute, or even gave a piece to Jo Yeong. I ask myself too if Tae Eul could use that flute piece because any potential "blood on the flute" problem. But if it's her period week, she should be able to fix it.

For now, it's heading towards a final episode with :
Lee Gon, Jo Yeong, (Tae Eul) in the past.

You need to realize that Gon is counting all the time difference by himself, using only his memory - he doesn't have a pen or paper, or his trusty white chalk and blackboard nor his phone, which he left with Yeong. HE'S BASICALLY LOST IN TIME, COMPLETELY ALONE, WITHOUT TONY'S STARK'S GPS, and the only way he can use to orient himself in it are his math abilities, memories of TE and rarely leaving the gate for few moments to confirm his calculations. Tae Eul really is the beacon who leads him home and prevents him from getting lost

    Nonsense.
From the first time he went out, he was delivered a couch next to the gate, a TV screen and a VCR + all seasons of Columbo, a Texas instrument scientific calculator, a pentium i686 computer with the Warcraft 2 game, a truck of chips and sausages in a box.
Then, around 2005, he got a high-end i3 dual core PC with nVidia GTX 750 graphics card, a DVD player, all seasons of 24-hour chrono and Battlestar Galactica, the Starcraft game and Civilization 4, and another truck of chips and sausages, with extra beer.

Hi this is my firs post in here and im sorry that ill just get straight to the point. i rlly didnt understand why did present LR chose to go back save the past LR?? cause if present LG remembered that it was him that saved young LG then it is only logical that present LR would also know that the past LR will kill him.

aaah im soooo confused. if someone understands it better than me pls enlighten me with you

    Plot-hole

OR because at this point LL 1994 don't have the flute, and LG 5y old get the half flute

OR because LG don't cheat with time and do what is supposed to do (save himself) but LL cheat and do an new event (meet himself) not existing in the previous timeline.

    OR any other far-fetched explanation.

At this point, if I was the writer, any far-fetched explanation is OK.

    Nobody will see this...

    Except you. :D

  11. The kind of explanation a needy person who doesn't understand anything about TKEM can get, when coming on soompi :

JTE meets JY in QOK, timestop 17^2 while LL goes in ROK 19^2 and LG in ROK 23^2 (plot-hole) with ES via the in-between. There, SM and LN meet JY and LL meet PMK while LG comes back in QOK 29^2 looking for JTE talking with LN who say coming from ROK, and brings her back in ROK 31^2 with a red ballon after JTE get flower from LG2, and comes back in QOK 37^2 with ES instead JY while YYK both in QOK and ROK talks to SM about LL before LL kill LL in the past QOK. So, saviors are LG and LG2 with 2 differents shoes.

In my opinion, both their story arcs are not really serving any purpose at the moment. SJ more than JY though

I simply just don't care about them

Let's see if that changes in the next two episodes ;)

I give a go for Jo Yeong because :

    - Environment character for a long time, appears only with the main character, easy to remember, obvious function.
    - Funny rule: anything funny is acceptable, and then Jo Yeong is funny with Eun Sup, or even Lee Gon.

I really hope LG took a detour to 2009 and caught a glimpse of a certain look a like with puffy curly hair...something about boys and maybe flowers?

It would be a lewk for sure.

You should watch the best movie about that, Primer.

Here the explanation (don't read it, just look quickly and watch the movie first.)

Restorer of balance, The kid is FATE , the Kid is a form of manpasikjeok. Atleast what I think.

    Nope, you’re most certainly wrong.

It’s obvious this show will end with:

    JTE dying.

Lee Gon buries her in the world in between.

She blooms into forget me nots.

Lee Gon lives for eternity with his field of JTE.

    Their love lasts for eternity.

    Awwwhhhhh :tears:

*edit* I’m the biggest troll in the world, starting every page with negativity

Episode 14 is still my favorite episode up to date, next to episode 10. Forgive me now.

How do you calculate the top of the page every time?
Do you have a weird flute at home?!!

Episode 14 and 11 are my favorites.
And yet, I have a bunch of poop that I want to send on episode 14!!
But yeah, Lee Lim killing Lee Lim, Lee Gon slowly traveling to the future and meeting Tae Eul, the final hug with Tae Eul throwing herself at Lee Gon.
    It was all very good.
+ a lot of other things, like Lee Lim using pictures instead of balloons to mark the in-between world.

In my head I keep insulting the writer and/or the director, because it could be much more intense with almost nothing. But they are too snobbish to just insert a subtitle with a date. So by the time you understand the context of a scene, it's already too late to be there and receive the emotional impact. This is a serious problem that prevents immersion. But that's not new, it's been like that since the beginning...
