LCY has proven to us over and over again how much he loves XF by jumping after her every time even if it means dying with her. He does things that hurt her mentally and physically, yet treats her well occasionally. He threatens her and in the preview, his attitude when getting her to drink soup sucks. He loves her, but why cant he treat her gently like how he used to? This is such a toxic relationship...and although I love the story because of their love, I also find myself unwilling to accept that this is how love is defined. How LCY defines love and how he shows it is so messed up. He was sort of tough with her in the beginning too, but before their marriage, there were still moments where I enjoyed their interactions because he was gentle, and more humane with her. His love felt more like love and not the crazy, obsessive kind. I like to believe that all the bad things went down because of the circumstances and bad timing and all that...I really do...but those arent excuses. I am so conflicted on how I truly feel about this drama as a whole. One thing I know for sure is that XF is such a memorable character. Her innocence, beauty, kindness, courage...all these traits make her so lovable and endearing.
I agree that LCY deserves to suffer and regret his actions for the rest of his life. I want to see him miss XF after her death. But I also just want LCY and XF to have a fresh start...maybe in another lifetime?

True.. between them(LCY &XF) love was always there. Maybe they are not mature enough to handle situations and problems that comea to them. Choices and priorities... OMG.. my heart...

If XF didn’t want GJ to die, then she should have told LCY right there before the command...

Maybe he would’ve have let them go after they guilted him...if the drama decides to air the alternate ending, then I’ll really be rolling my eyes
....LCY would’ve let them go a lot sooner if they just told him the truth.
Basically...I just feel that at ANY POINT someone could’ve taken LCY aside, cleared this misunderstanding up, and said “Hey Crown Prince. You’re actually GXW. You tricked XF and destroyed her family. That’s why she hates you and wants to kill you.”
LCY makes a lot of stupid decisions...but none of the other characters make smart ones either....
*sigh*
Im already invested this much time into Goodbye My Princess..might as well stick with it to the end
Let's stick till the end.. who knows...

I LL continue to watch coz of the OTP's acting. Both of them have really impressed me. I am not also in for a SE, but no other go. No woman would want to continue to live with a man who is so heartless and foxy.
I look forward for the reunion of the OTP in another modern project. They look great too. Jaiyou!!!!
Hoping for another project for them(CXX & PX) to redeem our broken hearts.

Remember when XF get angry after knowing her grandfather issue & want to cancelled the marriage alliance, he persuaded her then wiped her tears while pinning her down.
At their second wedding ceremony he looks happy & proud when he saw his bride & keep staring at XF faces although she gives him cold face when they're bowing at each other.
Then on their first wedding night he tried to approaches her but leaves when he sensed she's not in the mood with the knife and get drunk LOL
Yeah in modern drama LCY gonna be labelled as two timer main male lead haha
but here I excused him because he need to marry crown princess coz his position as crown prince and he losing his memories before his second marriage wih XF

Indeed.. LCY (Chen Xing Xu) is very handsome or else , many had dropped this. I love them(CXX & PX) since the their first meeting.

I hate GJ characters from novel to drama, a kind of hateful 2nd character.
GJ should have died when he fell from the cliff. Hateful character. Sorry for the rant..
I still love my OTP(LCY & XF) & it breaks my heart to see them like this.

I love how they argue.. its really normal for newlyweds to be like that. The wedding is so grand. The subtle love and care by LCY to XF.. my God keeps me going... i love my otp still..

Sometimes when your watching a drama that is truly unique everything is happening so fast and even when there is a thread still your emotions are not totally complete or able to express all of what you felt. Or even saw...
Mostly because the essence of it's story hasn't had a chance to soak all the way in. It still lingers within you and even later there are things you find you have missed and it's funny you can't seem to let go. It's as if the story and it's characters call out to you to be seen again and pull you back...
The title selection sums up it's story and it laid heavy on my heart and it was filled with some of the sweetest moments that were like pure honey. It was a emotional journey from beginning to end and allowed my heart to soar in moments of passion and it brought on so many tears when the sweetness of love was covered in darkness and ash...
There was coldness and frost when they seem to have lost their way and faith in each other. There was disappointment and regret that followed and anger and pain...
Yet what I loved most then and even now was how their story and love for each other survived. That not even those claiming from heaven or hell or all those factors around them could destroy what lived deep within them.
That no sacrifice asked of them was to great for they were both willing to give and give up all that they had.
It was the one thing that couldn't be covered or forgotten or destroyed.
Love... The forever kind...
The not letting go, even when it feels like you're the only one holding on...
