    This drama is really addictive. I enjoy every moment in the drama. By the way is there anyone who knows the name of the song Seri sings to the soldiers in the farewell party. I actually listened to that song about 20 years ago when I studied Korean. At that time my Korean teacher gave me a cassette of Korean songs and I still remember the rhythm of the song Seri sings. All my good memory came back and I was so moved to hear the song again.

    I tried to read all the posts but I might have missed some since this thread is moving so fast. Did anyone mention about Seri's NK name Choi Sam Suk? She's actually a real singer who lived in NK. They may use one of her song in the drama. She was mentioned in SK in 2016 because she had a daughter who was defected from China to SK. According to the report of Yonhap News, Choi Sam-suk, born in 1951 at Kaseong Jangpung, worked at the Pyongyang Textile Factory and joined the Pyongyang Film and Music Company and began her career as a singer.

    Son Ye Jin is showing the power of rom-com queen

     

    tvN Sat-sun drama “Crash Landing on You” (written by Park Ji-Eun and directed by Lee Jung Hyo), Son Ye Jin is bringing the drama’s high viewership through her melodic comedy acting.

     

    “Crash Landing on You” the blooming of the romantic relationship between Ri Jeong Hyeok (Hyun Bin) and Yoon Seri (Son Ye Jin) became complicated love triangle as their rivals Seo dan (Seo Ji Hye) and Gu Seung Jun (Kim Jung Hyun) appeared. As the story getting more excited, Son Ye Jin, who portrayed perfectly the inner and outer sides of Yoon Seri, became anxious due to the appearance of the real fiancé when her feelings are becoming deepened toward Ri Jeong Hyeok.

     

    Not only she had abundant expressions, she was totally immersed into Yoon Seri’s character in every single aspect by precisely capturing and pouring out difficult detailed emotional changes as written in the script. From lovely comedy to sweet melody, Son Ye Jin’s acting performance, through the screen, had taken control over peoples’ hearts and make them feel powerless.

     

    Following the movie “Negotiation,” Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin met again as a couple giving off perfect chemistry together, presenting with laughers and tears. As well as Hyun Bin with dimensional expressions and so are the four North Korean soldiers including Py Chi Su and Kim Ju Meok, and also all the actors who played the women in the Village are doing their best together overpowered by their enthusiastic acting through the screen.

     

    Son Ye Jin’s acting in “Crash Landing on You” is deserved to be called “rom-com queen,” “melo queen,” “comic queen.” People have called her as “Seriholic”, the name that is currently being made by Son Ye Jin.

     

    The “Crash Landing on You” was plotted to end shockingly with Ri Jeong Hyeok being shot to save Yoon Seri. Indeed, the attention is focused on what exciting story will be presented in “Crash Landing on You” from Yoon Seri played by Son Ye Jin.

    'Crash Landing on You' Broke Personal Viewership Ratings Record as Hyun Bin Sacrificed His Life to Save Son Yejin

    The drama has reached its highest viewership ratings.

     

    The 5th and 6th episode of tvN's ongoing drama 'Crash Landing on You' was aired on December 28th and 29th. The latest 2 episodes have broken its personal viewership ratings record. According to AGB Nielsen, the 5th episode recorded 8.73% in viewership ratings nationwide while the 6th episode reached 9.223%.

     

    In the 6th episode, 'Crash Landing on You' offered a more interesting story plot as armed Forces' Security Bureau Jo Cheolkang (played by Oh Manseok) was trying to fail Yoon Seri's plan to go back to South Korea. Ri Junghyuk (played by Hyun Bin) was ended up being shot by a gun as he tried to save Yoon Seri (played by Son Yejin) from the planned car accident.

    The 6th episode ended by the scene of Ri Junghyuk being unconscious after being shot. Yoon Seri held him in her arms and cried as her heart broke that Ri Junghyuk had sacrificed hid life to save her.
