    5 Fascinating Facts About 'Crash Landing On You' Star Son Ye Jin

    Son Ye Jin brings rich heiress Yoon Se-ri to life in Crash Landing On You, and her chemistry with Hyun Bin is something that we look forward to in every episode! 

    Want to know more about this amazing actress? Read on to find out more about Ye Jin:  

    1. In college, she majored in film at the Seoul Institute Of Arts. 

    Here are more deets about her early years: Ye Jin was born on January 11, 1982. She talked about her high school days in a 2013 interview and said that she "was an ordinary high school student who enjoyed eating ddeokbokki rather than trying to get good grades." LOL, saaaame. 

    2. Ye Jin's first K-drama was called Delicious Proposal (2001).

    According to Viki, the series tells the story of two competing restaurants and the families who own them. Ye Jin played the role of Hee Ae, the girl leading man Hyo Dong (Jung Joon) falls for. There's only one problem: Their fathers are rival restaurant owners! At that time, Ye Jin was around 19 years old. 

    3. She's not afraid of playing ~edgy~ roles.

    Throughout her career, Son Ye Jin has played a con artist (The Heart Of Seduction), a woman with two husbands (My Wife Got Married), and a divorcée (Alone In Love). 

    4. She made a cameo appearance in Hyun Bin's 2010 drama Secret Garden! 

    Hyun Bin starred in Secret Garden opposite Ha Ji Won. He didn't have any scenes with Ye Jin (sadly), but according to a fan account, Ye Jin played a different version of herself—an actress "with a wry sense of humor." 

    5. Ye Jin has not been involved in any dating *scandals* (so far). 

    In 2018, when asked about romance and marriage, she joked that she was ~bad at dating~! "In order to date, you need to make up your mind to date, meet many people, and have blind dates offered to you, but that's not easy. It's more difficult as you get older. I don't think it's possible to do something by force either. However, I'm waiting for a good match to show up."

    I like Park Hae-il's role in "Deokhye-ongju" (The Last Princess) one scene that impressed me most is when old ongiu and Kim Jang-han in Korean airport, Jang-han holding ongiu's hand and walking to the gate, then Jang-han stop and adjust ongiu's hat. so tender and considerate.  and Park Hae-il looks good together with Yejin, once again queen of chemistry. :D

     

    I like Park Hae-il more after watching this interview. I feel he is sincere and self-discipline person.  

     

    Park Hae Il is so funny when he refused to be in YeJin's women club. He said "they are strong women." I think he's scare. It's true yejin's friends are so protective of each other. Her friend Lee Jung Hyun said her husband was approved by her friends :D

    January Drama Actor Brand Reputation Rankings

     

    From December 22, 2019 through January 23, 2020, the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation analyzed big data of approximately 50 drama actors and actresses including in participation, media activity, communication, community activity, and more. 

     

    According to the Institute, the top drama actors in terms of brand value for the month of January are co-stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin of tvN's 'Crash Landing On You', both earning the 1st and 2nd place spots on this month's rankings with overwhelming points. First, Hyun Bin came out on top with a total of 9,152,460 brand value points. Son Ye Jin followed behind in 2nd place with a total of 7,202,962

    Than you! I have watched first EP already. yeah I like SYJ when she is playing games, she is cute and competitive. hahaha She is just beyond my imagination about her. I watched her very early movie "Lovers' Concerto" many years ago, that was the first film of hers I watched. I like it and I like her performance, but at that time another actress Lee Eun-ju impressed me more. 

    after that I have not watched any her films and dramas since recently. I always thought SYJ is a gentle, quiet and introvert person. I was wrong. after watching her interviews I found she is naughty, cute, smart, unpredictable. I just love her personality! and I respect her for her hard work. 

     

    I just finished watching her movie "the truth Beneath". brilliant! amazing SYJ's acting! and the movie is very very good too! this is the best movie of SYJ among those I have watched. so far I have watched "Lovers' Concerto", "The Classic", "The Last Princess", "Be with You" and  "the truth Beneath". for me  "the truth Beneath" is the best. no wonder she got many awards that year. 

     

    and her dramas I have only watched "crashing landing on you" I think it's good, but I hope she can play in a non love story drama in her next project. now I want to watch "My Wife Got Married", "White Night", "Alone in Love" and "Spotlight".

    Yes I love all her movies and dramas, especially "the truth beneath". She was very brilliant there. But the movie that got my attention was "April Snow". She was very young at that time but played a married woman who has a cheating husband. She conveyed her emotions very deeply. I was very impressed with the way she portrayed her inner emotions. It felt so sad when I watched it and I could connect with her sadness for having a cheating husband who she has to take care while he got into a car accident with his lover. Even though I was very young at that time but I could feel and understand her character. She also had brave intimate scenes with her costar and I thought she did very well considering her age and status as a rookie actress at that time.

    According to Hyun Bin, the wing of the chicken supposed to go down, so he tried to press it down. But when he touched the wing, Son Ye Jjn scolded "Don't do that, don't touch it." And then they kept talking back and forth how it should go up or down...To me, there was nothing to talk about but I guess they can talk to each other about anything,  including something silly like this :)
