New episodes tomorrow! Yay!!! I wonder if we’ll see Ji An waver in tomorrow’s episode? She’s really hard to read. At least her eyes don’t look that dead anymore compared to the first two episodes.

Does anybody speak Korean? I’m so curious about netizens reaction after four episodes, whether they still oppose anything romantic between the leads.

You can check out their reactions here: http://netizendrama.blogspot.co.id/search/label/My Mister?&max-results=7

I'm glad the reactions to this drama so far have been really positive, praising the plot and the characters. They're mostly mesmerized by Ji An and Dong Hoon individually. A lot of praise to the actor Park Ho San / Sang Hoon after episode 4. The part about him and his mom really touched people's hearts. I read a comment on TV Naver (equivalent to youtube in South Korea), a woman commented that she was watching the show with her husband and her mom. And both of them cried during that part. :(

To answer your question, seems like there's no more hate on the age gap, but I haven't seen anyone root for them to be together either.

Does anyone find it weird how after beating the heck out of Ji An, Gwang Il caved in to her request to write on the receipt that he promised not to break into her house anymore? If his life is dedicated to make her suffer why succumb to her request?

  2. I tried to have an open mind to understand DH's wife reason to cheat. But at this point, she's just unredeemable. I dislike her so much:wacko:

I'm curious.. Do you guys think DH should reconcile with his wife as his happy ending? Or it's better for him to divorce her and find a new love? I wonder if at some point their son (who is studying abroad right now) will come back to South Korea and change their relationship dynamic.

As much as I'm liking the chemistry between JA and DH, I think they are more suitable being best friends than a couple. (I can sort of see her having a one-sided puppy love towards him along the way, though! But probably won't be responded by the goody two-shoes DH.) :D

  3. After watching episode 2, i realized that Ji An has always been honest in the show so far, she never beats around the bush, and she would never tell a joke, which got me thinking...

When Dong Hoon asked what's the worst thing she killed and she answered that she killed a person, that statement was probably true???

Did she (accidentally) kill someone? My guess is either her parents or someone that Gwang Il holds dear.. hence the "revenge" thing that she briefly mentioned during the assault scene.

  4. My thoughts after watching episode 1 RAW:

    Spoiler

    - Everyone's acting is good! Even IU is doing well (thank goodness). There's no acting hole that weakens the drama.

    - OST sounds so catchy and fits well with the show. Can't wait for the songs to be released

    - So far we've seen office politics at DH's office, Dong Hoon and the eldest brother's backstory, and Jian's backstory

Is it written in his wife character description that she gave up on him? Intriguing. Maybe his wife is having an affair once again? :) Who knows maybe they got married because she was pregnant but they never really loved each other.

Yup someone on twitter translated it. Dong Hoon's co-worker liked her.

  6. Can't believe it's already D-1!!! I've been waiting for this show for so long.

Ji An and Dong Hoon's characters got me intrigued. I want to know what led them to be in such a miserable state as of right now. Especially Dong Hoon. He's doing OK at his job, was blessed with a son, got a lovely wife. So why did Ji An describe him as someone who is "weary"?

As for Ji An, all i can say to her is what a poor child.. Parentless, poor, grew up in an abusive environment. No wonder she's so cynical and cold. I'm looking forward to see how DH and JA will help and heal each other.

I hope they maintain a platonic relationship throughout the show, as something like that is very rare but still exists in real life. A man and woman can remain just friends, you know?

The fact that Dong Hoon's wife gave up on him is giving me a red flag warning. Is this the writer's method to pave the way for DH and JA's romance to work? I hope not. I'm okay with romance with huge age gap, as long as the narrative and plot makes sense.
