    I feel like there’s so much i wana say but cant.. out of fear of offending ppl’s sensibilities... haha.. It feels like so much tension in the other thread, with the fans of 3 lead actors/actress in a standoff.. barely calling truce..

     

    personally, i do like JSW’s acting, but not his fans that much. However, i do sort of understand his fans, some were really disappointed that he is not 1st lead. I supposed if i were in the same position where YSY is not first lead, i might feel the same.. but what i didnt like is them trying to discredit YSY’s lead character position... first about Hwi having a fiance, then bringing up how the story is based on real history, so Hwi should die in the end like in history where Anpyeong died, being sour the story is not following history where Suyang daegun becomes King Sejo and basically the ultimate winner in the sibling rivalry. Needless to say, my initial analysis that Seol Hwa is NOT Hwi’s fiance when he met Jahyun is on the spot isnt it? And my initial analysis about Hwi being the first lead had been right from the start, at a time when everyone was thinking Hwi is second. ^_^ so trust me when i say the writer renames all the characters for a reason. If she truly wana depict history, there would be no need to rename all the characters.. just have Hwi as Anpyeong instead of Eunsung, and Kang as Suyang instead of Jinyang, why not? It’ll make it more impactful no? Why go ahead and changed all their names just to tell their story? Im not saying i know the ending... im just saying it wont be restricted by history, so up to the writer what she wants to portray since Hwi and Kang’s ending is not remiscence of Suyang and Anpyeong. What will be more impactful an ending? Lol. I think JH should die a brave death by protecting Hwi from Kang, and Kang died after realising all his errors, maybe he tried to kill Daebi his mother, and the last moment when before Daebi died, she told Kang her real feelings which made Kang regretful of all he has done. Hwi becomes king regent, and later on pass the throne to his little nephew when he is old enough. It will be weird to have evil win over good.. though i wouldnt put it as impossible, if Kang realises his errors in the end and become a good King... likely ending as well, though it may not be a popular ending.

     

    On the other end, there is JSY who i am not particularly impress with as an actress, but her fans seems nice enough. Nicer than JSW’s fans at least. :lol: so im vary of hurting them if i say i dont like JSY’s acting much, or that she is lacking in anyway. Ahh.. dilemma.. in all honesty, i cringe at the scene in the 1st ep when JH ran into Hwi’s arms. YSY’s facial expression was perfectly tuned to the emotion of that moment. But JH.. err.. i cant make up whether she is confused, or happy or relieved or sad.. and the tears.. Shouldnt she be crying with relieve? But she only have one teardrop for that epic reunion? Her expressions are just so toned down that whenever the scene flips from Hwi to JH, i lost the emotional momentum. And it keeps flipping back and forth depending on who is on screen.. ahh.. what a waste. I wish it had been better.. 

     

    In any case, i find there is no point for us to publicly criticise any one of the actors.. only if all actors do their part will the drama gets better ratings. No point pitting them against each other, comparing them against each other just to bring another person down, cos that’ll also bring down the whole drama as well. Im still witholding judgement atm, its only been 2 eps.. not a fan of the romance part so far though.. but im intrigue by the brothers relationship and conflict. Glad it got higher ratings in its 2nd ep, and hope it will continue to do better so that YSY can be more recognised! 

     

     

     

    @87yua . err.. that is a blog post and its pretty long to translate all.. haha. It’s just recapping the first ep of Daegun so i dont think there’s much info there that you cant find by watching the drama. :)

    The scene above between YSY-JSY. Short recap of what happened, in filming the tripping scene, JSY slightly brushed against YSY’s hanbok. Afraid her makeup might leave a stain on the hanbok costume, YSY brushes his hanbok and said to JSY, “I dont mind it really, but just afraid viewers will say something if there’s a stain”. JSY laughed and apologised. Awhile later, JSY softly said to YSY, she hasnt had many experience in filming such scenes and will trust in YSY to lead and she will follow (not sure which scenes she is referring to, whether it is entire drama, or sweet couple scenes with YSY). YSY reply was, ‘oh, me neither.. i mostly do comic scenes..’

     

    well, i duno how ppl see it, but i think YSY was kinda abrupt with her. He is of course always nice and kind mannered, even if he is annoyed. From 1N2D, when the psychiatrist analysed their inner mental age, YSY was said to be always controlling his emotions. Watching the scene, i think he might have felt slightly annoyed and was just controlling himself as usual. Hahahha.. or maybe i feel annoyed. I mean... how can a lead actress blatantly say she dont have much experience and leave the responsibility to a co-actor to lead? It takes 2 to make the scene come alive. Even if no experience or no confidence, one should analyse the scene deeply, do some research by yourself, look at examples online, or consult with acting teacher, etc.. its a basic homework all actors should have! If she said that out of courtesy like a rehearsed comment, that sounds extremely fake too, on top of not doing her homework. I feel annoyed on behalf of YSY... haha. We know how YSY always deeply analysed the character he is portraying and do lots of research beforehand. To be handed such an unprofessional co-actress... :unsure:

    now with the #metoo movement, its getting more risky. There could be misunderstandings, we dont know story from both side, but the girls could just post their story on SNS and knets start witch-hunting... no proper investigation at all.. some could be really guilty of course, but who knows what is the truth? Only the parties involved... So far, the ppl accused includes Jo Min Ki, Jo Jae Hyun (Cross ongoing drama), Oh Dal Su (My Ahjussi upcoming drama), director of Heungbu movie (Late Kim Joo Hyuk’s final project). Who knows who else will be exposed/accused...

    i prefer YSY to date out of the celebrity world.. hahaha. Just someone simple like CTH and his wife kinda relationship. Better not get involve with any celeb... its a complicated world there. Hahaha. :tongue:

     

    by the way, i just watched the ‘Daegun-prologue’. Article released said it will be ‘Daegun - The Beginning’, talk show with An Mi Na and 2 special guests, and there is even an instg post of the 3, but what was shown is not the talk show! Duno whats happening.. lol. Anyway, what was shown is a lot of behind the scenes, some interviews with the director, casts, and other staffs. Lots of interesting info. Not sure how to share them all... hahaha.. i seem to have written alot of long posts already.. :lol: maybe viki will sub it soon, and we can all enjoy it with subs soon! So i shall not spoil it by talking abt it here...  towards the end of the behind the scenes show, there was a subtitle message that ‘they will return after 60sec advert’. Maybe its the talk show after the behind scenes? Duno... but i didnt watch live, no access to live streaming, so i dont know. :mellow: Behind scenes are great too, although i would like to know abit about the history and background story as well.. haha. Im so greedy...

    heheh! thanks for the info... I think He should really careful when dating a celebrity... But whether it is a celebrity or not, I will still support him. But seriously I wish its queen of ice kim yuna... hahahah

    official answer is no. Unofficial/secretly... no one knows... its secret anyway.. lol

    but i think he is quite an honest person, so since YSY said no, i’ll just believe as such. Hahaha.

    From the BTS of The Best Hit drama, he always seems pretty proper, and focus only on acting... dont think he is the playful kind who flirts around on set... now that he is busy with filming Daegun, and 1N2D every fortnight, doubt he have time... 

    thanks.. I think he should date by now, heheh! :) need to have an inspiration and also he's not getting any younger! :) im sure he will be a good boyfriend... I like kim yuna or girls day yura for him.
