I'm smiling from ear to ear (okay, this is creepy lmao) reading new updates from all of you, while nodding so happily~
i agree with what @haelan said, especially when you mentioned about their moment in the zoo. We know that it was when they hadn't been filming so long, yet they already looked so close. it almost felt like they have been known each other way before this project. the way their jokes clicked each other's, the way PMY looked so comfortable, and the way KJW gazed at her so softly.... like, man... i really think he's already in love with her (my delulu mind says). his eyes were already so soft to her. i started shipping them from that exact moment, because.. how could i resist their chemistry?

SHE FELL ASLEEP DURING THAT SCENE IS SUCH THE BEST MOMENT BECAUSE... ASDFGHKJKL. I love how KJW treats her, to the level that I really appreciate his behaviors. the way he stroke her head so softly.... i'd like to say, "wowww~ of course, he is the oppa~" he's taking care of her in the most softest way ever ;;;___;;;

how are you after the cutest ep 12 last night? are y'all still breathing nicely?
because I'm not lol. their sweetness is just too out of this world, i swear xD
it feels like watching a real-life couple dating in front of me and making everyone in the room feels uncomfortable (for disturbing their moment) rather than watching a drama lmao. yes. PMY-KJW definitely give that effect in every dating scene they do.
that episode 12 tho.
the *cough* kissing *cough* in the kitchen *cough* while *cough* cooking *cough*, almost made me closed my eyes unconsciously to give them privacy (?) lmao (while still opening them a bit to peek ofc lol).seriously. in the history of me watching k-dramas, i don't remember seeing dating scenes as realistic as these two did (i mean, with SO MUCH and THAT MUCH feels in the whole screen). how do i explain this though........ errr... it feels like... even those drama couples that proven to be real weren't giving us these explicit (?) feels on the screen? ... well im not sure how to explain this, i apologize xD
i'm not saying that PMY-KJW are 100% dating e/o and giving us explicit hints though (although i really want to declare this because i'm simply their hardcore shipper who wants this ship to sail right away
lmao), it'll be such a "who am i to say that, i dunno even know them in real life" statement from me..... i'm just saying that they did such a ggrrrrrreeeeeaaaaaaaaat job especially in detailing the scenes they had to act out.
being their shipper and them as an actor/actress' fan, i want to say things to appreciate them:
they delivered the scenes well to the point that makes us forget that they're indeed acting out a script. it's impossible for a script to be written so detailed, 80% or even more of the scenes should be acted out by the interpretation of the actors with the help of the directors (that's why there are adlibs, etc... which i believe, y'all aware of this fact).
and being such great actors they are, PMY and KJW are able to give us these details (even the smallest ones) and make the scenes came out so beautifully on the screen.
well..... some of the details, especially the mind-blowing ones are torturing me so much in between:

to make it easy to explain my thoughts, it's just like "ugh i really dislike this actor/actress" because of their antagonistic character phenomenon--because of how annoying their characters are on the screen, which just proves that the actor/actress act so well that it feels like the antagonist is real, making us drowned in their annoying characters and automatically disliking them (some even hate them which i don't suggest y'all to do the same to every antagonist character you will see in the future lol).
PMY-KJW did exactly the same. We can feel as if DM-RG couple is so real, and make us shipping PMY-KJW in real life because we fall in love w/ their chemistry and the dreamy-like love story of DM-RG. Just by watching them sitting on the couch, cuddling, and smiling at each other is enough to make me going crazy in the dark (i watched with no lamps on lol, okay this is TMI i know lol)
okay, just like any human being alive, I always adore beautiful faces,
but what makes me adore the most is how well these actors/actresses act out the script.
i don't really care about appearances, i can be someone's fan just because of their skills alone. I never watched KJW before, and when I first watched HPL I was like... adoring his face first?---but then now I'm his fan more because of his way of delivering the scenes.
Same with PMY. I only watched her in Remember and at that time I watched for Namgoong Min + how the story was, so I didn't really pay attention to her (sorry, PMY fans! didnt mean anything negative!), but now I adore her and she's one of my favorite actresses with the same reason as why I became KJW fan as well.
after HPL, I did rewatch Remember and pay attention to her. She is, indeed, a great actress.
No wonder DM-RG can be felt so real by us ;;__;; uwu~ my babies~
As a shipper, ep 12 was totally making me delulu and keep dragging me to believe they're real for 100% and it's hard to fight myself :'''))

@alexiajeong love your rant haha I feel the exact same! They are both fantastic actors but the eyes don't lie and even if they don't officially (or publicly
) date, I am 1000000000% convinced that there is something there! One part that particularly caught my eye was after their epic first real kiss, when KJW picks up PMY to take her off the drawers and they share a quick kiss, he does this very slight smile kind of expression that for me is like a proud satisfied partner who's just won the heart of the girl he loves. Like it's hard for me to fully put it into words but it is just a small facial gesture that looks real, not acted.
I always find myself shipping PMY with her costars too but this ship is a whole new level of shipping for me, I am literally obsessed! They are perfect on screen and off screen, just everything about them seems so well suited for eachother! I'd love to be a fly on the wall for a day just so I could secretly stalk them haha ok ok, enough of being a crazy shipper hahaha but really though, these two are just perfect together!
yes, they're grown up. that's the point. another point is, that KJW and PMY seem so easy to get along well with new people, so I think they can easily be close to each other and be close friends---which somehow can lead to a deeper relationship like.. *cough* dating or married *cough*.

Yea! Not everyone is the same! That's true that there are people who can be a bit shy toward e/o, but there are also people who can be so close tho. Everyone has different personalities, I believe we can't tell 100% if the actors have attraction to e/o or not just by how close or how shy they are to e/o. It depends on our beliefs, because... well everything we see on the screen can be easily interpreted in many ways sooo~lets keep boarding in this ship until it sails (hopefully)
one of the reasons I ship them is that MinJae couple reminds me of Swag Couple, AhnGoo, SongSong. So.......... lets hope xDD
they're beautiful couples just like our MinJae so if you wish MinJae to be like them, COUNT ME INNN~~ I WISH IT AS WELL

Apparently this couple has been doing so many adlibs, or it's just that they're too good in acting that everything feels like adlibs? lmao xD I believe both KJW and PMY are great actors. I've never seen their projects before HPL (PMY only in Remember), but I can tell from their acting here, that they're skilled. They both are so detailed in deliver every single scene. The expression, the behaviors, the intonation, etc. Their adlibs are also so good and not "out-of-the place". The adlibs fit the scenes well.
The way their chemistry and romance bloom so beautifully on the screen,might be the result of their professional nature and the years of experience in acting industry.
But here's my opinion.
Okay. Their romance that looks so real can be the result of their great skill, but what is it that convincing me; because i believe, "at least" there's attraction between them?
The eyes. Especially KJW's eyes. I don't know how he can fake that. I saw someone posting about how detailed KJW is in delivering his characters, and because of that, there's possibility that he "may" fake his eyes like "okay lets think that I see someone I love" --- but believe me, eyes are hard to be faked (to look in love). no matter how great your skills are. or maybe KJW is one of those rare actors on this planet who can really fake his eyes to be so in love.
It's "easier" to make your eyes look psychopath (like ... you know, Nam Gyu Man from Remember? how can you forget NGM's psychopath eyes in delivering that character? lmao and I saw KJW's photos in Voice too, he's a killer there right?) than to make them look so in love.
the way KJW looks at PMY in this drama tho. Pretty much the same way NJH looked at LSK in Bokjoo drama xD when I watched WFKBJ I was also convinced that the leads were in love and they're proven to be dating, so... his gaze boosts my hope hahaha.
but not only his eyes. his whole face softens whenever he sees PMY! *me dies

I don't really know about PMY. She looks really friendly and cheerful, but sometimes I think that I see her expression softens as well, but not that obvious like KJW so I dunno! lets hope that KJW really has that attraction and considers to make PMY his .... wife? lol. and then make some efforts to know her more. they're in the age of getting married, so my wish for them is not dating but to be married lol.

I'm still trying to be rational and preparing for the worst. of course. I have so many ships that fail to sail, in fact the only ship succeed to sail was Swag Couple (not to mention SongSong and AhnGoo because I didn't ship them in the drama, but I only sensed something), so I don't have any trouble in accepting the bad truth ^^
At the end of the day, if both KJW and PMY end up with others, I'm okay! As their (new) fan, I'm glad if they're happy~
if they're end up together then it's a bonus for me (and for us)!
shipping a couple is fun and not doing any harm as long as we know boundaries. and know when to stop.
just remember this: let's not ever attack other ships / haters although they say weird things about MinJae. if those sound ridiculous, they don't worth our time. well... except if they start to harm KJW and PMY and spread false rumors about them x) hopefully they won't. lets show haters that we're a peaceful (and fun) ship

Ah~ I think I've become "DEOKMI" for MinJae. At this point I might start my own "MinJae-gil" or Road to MinJae and then chase them with Deokmi's super-long-bazooka-like-camera lol.
I even spent my time checking videos just to take screenshots and post the said moments here (fyi, i'm a lazy person. usually i dont post pictures because it takes time lol).

okay, okay, so this is a TMI but the last time I logged in, was almost a year ago and I logged in again today just because of MinJae couple~ :') I'm so happy to know that finally there's a shipper thread for them!
Their chemistry is so........ ASDFGHJKL what can i say?! I'm amazed by the way they stare at each other, especially how KJW does to PMY. His eyes bro... his eyes are so... glowing? whenever he sees PMY, his eyes are like sparkling! I dunno if it's because he "admires" them as in "liking her like a fan" or maybe admire her as someone who has a great skill or...... more than that (you know, like... a crush? love? yeah like that!). I'm not quite sure with PMY's stares, but at least she seems soooo comfortable with him and that's good enough to start a love HEHEHEHEH. You know, love comes from a comfortable friendship right?
I honestly wasn't a fan of both KJW and PMY, this is my first time watching KJW and the 2nd watching PMY (after Remember... that was such a long time ago right xD) so I don't really know how they were with their co-stars and how their behaviors are, I won't say anything about that. I'll just rant based on what my eyes see xD

So far, from many dramas I watched, I only ship: IU-Lee Junki from Scarlet Heart, ChaeYoo from I'm Not A Robot, Swag Couple from WFKBJ, Hyunjin x Minki from Beauty Inside and PiChi couple from Goblin&Touch Your Heart. I ship them mostly because of their "too believable chemistry", "too out-of-this-world chemistry" or because how the male leads look at the female leads xD
And my Swag couple ship was (or is) real, so they become my "standard" to analyze if my other ships will have higher probability to end up being real...AND MINJAE COUPLE IS ALMOST CLOSE TO "THAT STANDARD"
AND STILL, STILL ABOUT THIS: HOW KJW LOOKS AT PMY, I'M- OMG I CANT.
AND HOW THESE TWO ARE ALWAYS SO PHYSICALLY CLOSE, LIKE STANDING SIDE BY SIDE TOO CLOSE, OR WHEN KJW PUT HIS HAND IN BEHIND PMY AFTER THE SOFA KISS *YEAH I KNOW HE PUT HIS HAND ON THE SOFA THO, BUT STILL, HIS BODY LEANED TO HER DIRECTION THO*

Hi, everyone!
You may feel unfamiliar with me, because yes, this is my first post ever in this thread. I'd been lurking silently, giggling and enjoying this thread and since the drama has officially ended, I want to thank all of you for all the contributions in this thread, without you the excitement of watching the drama wouldn't be the same.
Reading all your observations, your rants, your jokes, and also enjoying the fan-arts, fan-vids, shared videos, etc.. I had a great time while waiting for new episodes each week. So, again, thank you all! You already worked hard to make this thread alive and I'm apologizing because I couldn't give any contribution since I'd been so busy although honestly I wanted to do some observations and comments too
So, because the drama has officially ended, I want to (finally) give a contribution too here!
I'd like to point out things I got while watching IANAR and ofc, these points are my opinion only! ^^Spoiler-
The beautiful fate of Kim Minkyu and Jo Jia.
Both of them were so "lonely" to the point that almost no one was by their side. KMK had been living in loneliness and longing to interact with humans, he wanted to live a normal life but he just couldn't. And everyone just "looking down" on him because of his bad attitude and how he treated others, they basically talking bad about him in behind and hating him. He couldn't trust anyone and it made him lonely. While JJA was also living her life in loneliness, but ofc it was slightly different from MK. No one really believed in her and we knew how everyone looking down at her ideas---her oppa, her (ex)boyfriend for example. She basically was lonely, too.
I thank Butler Sung and Sunhye (and the sister-in-law with her daughter) that they were the ones that still believed in MK and JA, when the world turned its back at them. The interesting thing was, these lonely people were met by fate. How JA's inventions ended up being parts of MK's belongings, how JA as President Jo bought toy for MK, how they met on the train (oh, this was so legit! what a fate!), and how their life was so similar. On top of all, how JA could understand MK after spent some times with him, that she could feel sad when MK treated robots like humans and not to forget how MK adored every characters of her that he met and her ideas then cheered her up. So beautiful. I was (and still am) amazed by how romantically beautiful their fate was. Their love was so true: it didn't start with lust, but with their own "emptiness".
It's not a love story that only sold about "i love you, please be mine." or "i'm attracted to you, i cant live w/o you", but about two people who was "abandoned" and struggling to survive in their sadness that found each other and fulfill the emptiness in their life.

When you're smart and genius, it doesn't mean that you're perfect.
We are all know about how JA and BG broke up, how BG treated JA although he loved her. He was too full of himself that he couldn't be bothered by JA's ideas. After the broke up and they met up again with MK in their life, he started to learn that he could be wrong. And from how BG character's developed, I learn about this: we aren't perfect and we make mistakes, when we make mistakes we have to be responsible for it---just like what BG did, tried to fix things that "destroyed" by his confidence. And we know that MK is also smart and looks so perfect, but he isn't perfect at all. He's a human too, he's as imperfect as the other characters (and us).

About being honest.
JA and Santa Maria Team were lying to MK and we know how bad the lies were. It led to MK's anger and it hurt everyone's heart. Everyone became victims. If only they had confessed before MK found out, what would've happened? But, I like the way the story went after MK's anger tho, because everyone had finally improved themselves by reflecting on their fault and it led to happiness in the end, MK also learnt about forgiving others and accepting his weakness.

Forgiving and Apologizing
I honestly cried, my tears just burst out when MK and YC were doing handshake, like..."FINALLY!!". I dunno why I was crying because of that short scene, but it was beautiful in my eyes. How relieved YC was when he did handshake MK that never forgave him for the past 15 yrs and how MK looked so happy because their relationship had finally been "healed" and I could see how relieved he was too. Both of them were having grudge for 15 years, despite the fact that they used to be bestfriends (close enough to consider each other as brother) and it must be so hurt to feel that way towards your bestfriend. I'm glad both were forgiving each other and YC, the one who broke MK's trust, apologizing. beautiful. really.

Women's power
I mean, look at how easy-going, brave and independent our main heroine, JA, was. She's also hardworking and she didn't easily give up, she did stand for her beliefs. I also adore the fact that she was trying to be success on her own although she had a super-rich chairman as her soon-to-be husband. After JA and Sunhye, RE, Pai and Hongjoo were also my favorites! lets remember about how brave RE was to say whatever she felt and the memorable scene of "the postcards, i didn't send them". And Sunhye! I can't really describe how I feel about her, she's just so amazing!! She's so bold, so honest, and I can't imagine the relationship between our main couple if she hadn't been existed! She's like a catalyst for their relationship tho. And Pai! She was so independent and genius, I'm proud of her. And Hongjoo, her character was so warm and she was so understanding. Ah, I am so proud of woman characters in this drama!

The Kiss Scenes
Their first kiss was so passive, because at that time JA was still Aji 3 in MK's eyes and belief. Then, their second kiss was beautiful, but not too intense (maybe) because this was MK's first doing kiss by himself (not just being kissed). Their third kiss (my most favorite tho LOL) was so, so, so intense and it felt like the kiss was telling us about how their relationship had developed. I can feel the longing of each other's existence, the love, and how they couldn't let each other go... to me those were evidences that their relationship had gone deeper, the trust was already built stronger. And all of their stories wrapped beautifully by the ending kiss that looked so warm and I would like to interpret that as a kiss of husband and wife, the highest relationship status in their love life. It's cute how JA went to the gate and welcomed him and telling story about how successfull she was now, then she slipped and they kissed with that pose (i kinda worried with JA because she was bending like that lmao, "gurl, is your back okay? you don't feel any backache, right? Ah, it's okay, MK will let you use his massage chair and may personally massage your back *OOPS *just a massage!*if you think about something else, it means you're byuntae like me lmao")
Last, but not least, I want to say how i love everyone in the drama (even Dumb&Dumber lmao, except Hwang Do Won and Ye Sung Tae who only knew to use their children for wealth), especially KMK and JJA!! I love YSH and CSB so much although this is only their second drama that I've watched.

and for CSB, I watched her in "Sassy, Go, Go" and I kinda loved and hated her at the same time because her character there as Kwon SooAh was so two-faced, but I ended up pitied her and loved her sistermance with the main female (Jung Eunji). Her acting was so good because I could easily feel her feelings. And I watched some cut scenes of her in Rebel & Love in The Moonlight and... wow. just wow. You go, girl!
But I didnt expect I'd watch these two in a same drama with THEIR AMAZING CHEMISTRY THAT MAKES ME CANT STOP FANGIRLING OVER THEM. I love them so much.
Not only because of their chemistry on-off screen, but with their humble & lovely personality and ofc, their acting skills. So proud of them.I wish the drama were still airing tho hahaha, but ofc nothing in this world is last forever, and I have to say goodbye with this beautiful drama. One of those dramas that taught me many lessons in life and helped me open another new perspective in my mind about this world. I'll miss this drama, all the casts and especially our KMK & JJA couple. I wish they will be paired up for another project, be it a drama (Sageuk drama is nice too since they're both so gorgeous using those costumes in Sageuk drama) or photoshoot or CF or others, I don't mind tho as long as I see them interact in one frame!
and since I'm ChaeYoo shipper, I wish them the best for their relationship whatever it will be-friends or loversand i wish for us too, so we can move on faster, but seriously it's hard to move on. I already miss them

One part that particularly caught my eye was after their epic first real kiss, when KJW picks up PMY to take her off the drawers and they share a quick kiss, he does this very slight smile kind of expression that for me is like a proud satisfied partner who's just won the heart of the girl he loves. Like it's hard for me to fully put it into words but it is just a small facial gesture that looks real, not acted.

i've noticed that too! for many many times!
there's no way these two aren't (too) comfortable w/ each other. what KJW does (leaning his forehead on PMY's) is something that I always saw in those romantic hollywood (?) movies where a boyfriend did exactly the same to their girlfriend xD
