  1. Just for confusion sake, is The Guy supposed to be same as peppermint killer or the one that killed ISU? And was the one that got punctured by OHJ The real peppermint killer Or another copy cat?

im loving the psychos in this kdrama. They all got a screw lose and the actors are immersed in the roles, like the one that showed up in blood at the police station haha he reminded me of the joker. But there’s a lot of criminals. I feel like we need a list or chart if there isn’t one yet because I’m getting confused with like, who is responsible for murdering who and who’s in charge of who

@bebebisous33 you right killer get killed by another killer is good point & they always get killed when the police is on to them  .

I find suspicious this detective alway left behind don’t rush to the crime scene like other detective.

I feel like  he not only leaking information to his boss but he may have dark secret too , One thing The guy enjoy is spot light & humiliating the police  :D

How did that detective even discover OHJ’s address? If he was as the one that broke into her house, how did the candy killer find OHjs hide out?

i have a couple theories on him. One of which that maybe he is the boy that was in that car SY witnessed. Also that the superior that’s trying to use him as a spy, is the ex husband of the female detective? If not I am curious who the ex husband is and if has a part in any of this. And if the female detective truly cared for isu or was jealous of her and has a hand in her death too.

  3. Scenes I’m ready to see:

-SR showing RJHs team SK food and Sauvignon blanc she kept talking about

-the team member that loves SK dramas falling in love with an SK girl

-RJH witnessing how SRs family treats her

-SR showing him her daily life and coming to her work under guise of body guard

-RJH seeing SRs savage boss side

-dan and second male lead fully coupled together so they can continue to help uri main couple be together

  4. I’m loving this show, absolutely adoring it. I can understand with the controversial setting or pairing, that this may be interpreted differently in SK, so I will just be giving my perspective as an American. I think SR’s fondness for the North wasn’t the writers efforts to be ‘pro communism or Anything like that, but highlighting how someone living the most luxurious and best possible life style, actually enjoyed such a simple and ‘less developed’ life in NK. It was showing how home is where the heart is. It’s highlighting her bonds with the people there and how there are no barriers no matter the political or cultural climate to bonding with someone from ‘the other side of the train tracks.’  SR refers to her and RJH as Romeo and Juliet aka star crossed lovers. I’m sure if a similar show was made here where an American ends up in the Middle East in a terrorist labeled  country, such a pairing like this would be met with much controversy in the US, especially if the American enjoyed living there like SR did. Another instance I can think of is an American and Russian together, and how much backlash that would get since an American could be at risk of ‘treason’ for wanting to move to Russia for loved one. I wish love had no limits or bounds and that reality, the world was at a stage of universal peace so no possible social interaction and bond could be withheld.

  5. I love this show so much I’m still trying to catch up on all the pages in case I missed anything good. But in the meantime I’m losing track of my theories so before I forget, I’m going to share my thoughts in hopes to hear what you guys think of this as well. Man I adore this show.

I’m going to start my predictions of this inception-like kdrama universe with the webcomics main leads. I don’t mind if JD is actually ‘evil’ behind her mask. I mean let’s say she does end up being still nice and in the end after all the bullying by peers and belittling from adults she gets her happily ever after only in the end while these people that have tormented her the whole time and only get a slap on the wrist? It would be so unfair that once everyone is nice to her and finally accepts her, is fundamentally at the very end when there’s her ‘happy ending.’ If villains in kdrama can be so easily forgiven, then why can’t our lead be an antihero(or antivillain, depending on how you look at it). I’m all for JD’s revenge/ambition. You go girl! I have a feeling DW would accept her even in her darkness (obvious by this who I ship JD with) but NJ will think he was used and he most likely was but wait-why would he get a free pass for this when he’s also guilty of treating JD badly? I don’t care if his whole ‘errand girl’ shtick was to protect her indirectly, treating someone you supposed in love with as a slave is far from romantic in my eyes. That’s why I’m sitting back and enjoying him as well as his mom get a run for their money...quite literally. Is the ‘dark’ side of her intentional by the writer or a product of being self-aware? I am leaning towards the latter only because if I were her, I would resent the writer so much for giving her every misfortune. Not only is she an orphan, she’s poor and bullied at school. I would be an extra in a heart beat (no pun intended) because it seems there’s so much suffering that comes with the expense of being a main female lead in this webcomic. Ideally if DW and JD end up together, then NJ and SM can be together(kinda of like what Do and BK would have been since in both set ups the girl was pining over the one sided crush for years)

HR and DO...I am looking forward to seeing their ‘past lives’ scenes. I do wonder if the high school was maybe the palace way back then, hence the flower garden we see on campus has remained there despite morphing from palace to school. (For the area that they found the keychain while on school trip, that could be the town where the noble and peasant characters lived). Random, but a detail that stuck out to me was how HR would wrap the tennis racket for BK. I wonder if this will be a parallel in the other universe, maybe with swords?

Essentially this show gives me much food for thought, like are the characters even self aware because of themselves or the worse writer is always making them self aware (or at least ability to, therefore making the high school webcomic itself about a webcomic characters that become self aware they are in one. So what I mean is the writer intends for them to be self aware-it’s apart of the webcomic story. Or is this completely out of their control and all of the free will from the characters????) it’s fascinating to me how the writer in this world mirrors a god in the real world. And how what could be characters recycled from an old story to a new story, is like someone being reincarnated from a past live like in real life. It’s all just so mind blowing. Are we just all characters in a story too and stage is our day while shadow is our night when we sleep?

  6. Yes it was a sad ending....ideally I would ave liked it to be like goblin

    Spoiler

Where we got a time skip and the leads meet again in the next life

But maybe this is another way to show us the inevitable parting that we sometimes escape through stories with happy endings..we all have to face death one day. But the beautiful ending in this is that it doesn’t end in death. We have hope we will meet our loved ones again, whether we spent a short or long amount of time with them in this life.

that said-if hotel blue moon becomes a thing, I hope I can see a cameo from uri leads living happy life in their next lives,

With all my attention focused on the otp I missed why DM's mom got emotional seeing Geon Woo at EG's judo class. Did she lose a child in the past?

I think so! Maybe the pictures of two kids in a photo is her deceased sibling and their grief is part of why they had EG come into their family. There’s also when EG is confronting Ryan and tells him that ‘DM Hasn’t told you anything about her.’ I am also wondering if the loss of her sibling contributes to her fangirling for SA. Maybe he reminds her of her deceased sibling? Or distracts her from her grief?

  8. Yeah with the scenes of LJH in prison getting beaten up by cell mates trying to be some sort of comic relief, it made me disgusted cause I can’t get over how he used a bat to hit the car of the deaf pregnant couple. I’m not sure if they’re trying to make him more likable or what, but it doesn’t work for me cause I still hate his guts even if his big brother was the mastermind behind it all and he’s really just a puny coward with all bark and no bite. Doesn’t change the fact that despise him tremendously.

On a lighter note, who else ships the prosecutor with JH??? Their scenes on the other hand jus make me ship them more and more as the episodes go on

  9. Usually in revenge dramas we already know the characters plan, but what I love about this show is how unpredictable it is and that in the end even when we think the lead is corner or about to ‘lose’ he still ends up on top, which is very satisfying after seeing so many instances in revenge shows where the main character never gets justice or rarely at least. I also like how unconventional it goes, like the KSW arc and stay of execution being bait. Now my q is, do medical directors really have so much power in prisons that they are the ‘kings’ there? Also how realistic is the show in regards of the imprisoned wealthy using the stay of execution or other situations showing just how corrupt the jail system is???
