    @monica63 I know what u mean but writing abt something other than drama n their real life happenings becomes a shipping thing.. So they tell us to shift to shippers thread if we wish to do so.. Or else talking abt ISH in real life isn't considered to be part of drama so we must stick to this thread!!

    I keep seeing, he doesn't know what love is or wasn't attentive to CSH, but question is was CSH attentive to him as a wife?

    Is she not to blame for failed marriage plus how easily she gave up on the relationship (because she wanted an out). Did she marry out of selflessness? No, she did not. She had her own agenda, even if it is buying her peace of mind from her mother or supporting her daddy's ambitions.

    CSH believes that both were trapped in a lifeless marriage but she was still loyal to it.. She didn't break the marriage.. It was her husband who did it by telling that he had another woman n he wants to marry her.. Being trapped in a lifeless marriage, she might have thought at least one has found love n wants to be free.. So she readily rescued herself n her husband.. But we still don't know what happened inside their marriage.. Hope we get some glimpses of it.. But ppl r bitter coz he said he had a relationship outsidewhereas it's clear that he still loves her.. It's just immature of him.. I still pity him n CSH.. I consider them to be trapped!! Plus as u can see CSH has never had a day on her life, Now she has learnt that her life is precious n she vows that she won't be sold by her mom once again.. I hope we get more insight on their life!!

    @bebebisous33 That's exactly the reason I m not having 2nd lead syndrome here.. As I mentioned before JWS doesn't understand what truly a love is, what longing is or how to love a person.. As his mother n his status provided what he wanted.. But that wasn't the case in CSH.. He wanted to have the different woman CSH who was very different from the girls who flock over him.. But then him marrying her, didn't make her heart to to him.. She was just cold.. This is my analysis that he might have thought that if I say I had an affair then she would show some kind of reaction which would show that she was interested in him like he was.. But it badly backfired.. Then he thought with her attitude, she wouldn't be able to find someone else other than him, so she will eventually come to him happily!! But again it went wrong.. He didn't try to understand what she wanted.. Like CSH had to ask for the trip in car with him n he agreed.. In case of KJH,  he shows her a new world, he tries to make her happy in small things... JWS doesn't know the context of proper love.. 

    I just don't want him to turn negative coz of his love.. I just want him to learn what is true love by seeing KJH n CSH!! Hope he turns into a new leaf!!

    I really love the anime art at every episode!!.. I kinda feel pity for her ex hubby.. He is in threads between good n bad.. His love for CSH will lead him any one.. I could see him getting jealous too,  as he said to her secretary to make CSH stay low!! Plus he threatened his move that he would leave the group if she interferes, so she might use another method to make him do the work of reunion of them!! I really hope he ends as a good person, I don't want him to be negative.. I just want him to learn to be free person like CSH!!

    I think the article is misleading and many people don't know that Encounter aired 30 minutes earlier than other dramas. So by the time other dramas air their 2nd part/episode, Encounter is already done airing, that explains the ratings increment of other dramas.

     

    If you watch live, you will realize there are more advertisements for this week episodes than last and we all know why.

     

     

    Yes I watched it live this week.. I can understand the stuff with ratings..  But purely this caption of soompi tends to mislead ppl!! 

    P. S. I don't agree with comment that KJH smiles all time.. He was serious at many times, he smiles when he gets together with his family,  coworkers n CSH.. He smiles at CSH at difficult situations, it's just to assure her that it will fine n he is fine as for example the last scene of yesterday's episode!!

    Here is an analysis by dramamilk.. Just check out this thread.. This drama is full of subtle hints which is associated with CSH n KJH!! I would repeat it again this isn't a simple show.. This is a masterpiece with deep meaning to it!! 

    @bebebisous33 spot on chingu!! Ur analysis is again soo beautiful.. It describes CSH's plight beautifully!! 

    I have always thought the beginning artistic opening shows what is gonna happen in the episode.. 

    The first episode, it showed the princess moving in palace n being trapped in the politics of kingdom n comes out n sees a fresh person with a book!! The episode was abt KJH n CSH meeting.. 

    Second one a boy raising a shoe to Queen.. It was abt KJH and CSH's status.. KJH can be considered poor boy while CSH is a queen but he still sends help to her as decipted by shoe!! 

    Third episode it was Sleeping Beauty n analysis done by @bebebisous33 beautifully!! 

    Fourth episode the opening one was a boy n girl surrounded by snakes aka obstacles n KJH n CSH r surrounded by enemies but at the end still they manage to break free as explained by @ahdrianaa..

    P. S. Every little thing in this show has meaning to it.. We just need to see it to analyze 

    P. S. S. I expected a rating explosion.. But still am happy.. Hoping it would increase by next week!!

    It was a super solid episode in terms of content, pace and character building. All the supporting characters have actual reasons to be part of this story .

     

    The episode started with a haunting image of a boy and girl holding hands facing away. They’re standing within a nest of snakes who are moving closer to them.

     

    In the last scene of the episode when CSH is confronted by MIL’s spy about the truth of an alleged relationship between her and an employee of the company. CSH says she doesn’t think the articles merit any explanation, the mole makes a scene and employee start gathering around them. The mole says it makes it his business because this affects the image of the company, CSH is helpless and can’t stop him from asking such questions in front of everyone. KJH can see the struggle within CSH, Nam Driver pulls her away but then KJH shouts her name . Walks up to her “ I have money today. How about we eat ramyun at the convenience store”. CSH and KJH have a conversation telepathically, he tells her he’s not thinking right now he’s just acting on impulse. She is worried for him. He tells her not to worry. He doesn’t want her to be alone right now. 

     

    The episode ends with the boy and girl still holding hands but the snakes start disappearing one by one. 

     

    The malicious and gossiping employees are the snakes.

    I m officially in love with phase n the flow of this story!! :love:Many felt dissapointed seeing KJH's confession but I didn't feel it awkward or too soon!! KJH clearly started showing hints of his feeling from even 2nd episode where after the stuff toy game when CSH went away, he said he feels strange when he is with her n the way he looked at the toy when he was working!!.. Plus in ep 3 he dropped hints when his friend said that CSH is used to being limelight but he was still concerned for her when she passed by!! His look gave away that he wanted to know how was she doing? The way he wanted to stay back when Mr. Nam was leaving CSH.. The way he was concerned abt her when he was going back whether she is living her life or is she just bearing it.. The way he looked at concern when she was taking the pills.. He was already questioning his feelings for her but when he heard the song dedicated to longing n embracing, he knew it that he had this feelings for CSH.. The scene where he confesses that he missed her, CSH knew that him coming back isn't for food but something else still she went out with him n asked him the reason.. I guess KJH clearly questioned his feelings n found his answer infront of her.. The way the showed their legs when he arrived at her hotel, it showed hesitation n confusion n the legs position in restaurant showed the longing to embrace her!! 

    I wondered y is CSH's ex in-law soo obsessed with her.. I guess we got the answer that is her son still loves CSH n is waiting for her.. So she wouldn't allow her to get away!! I may be wrong but her ex husband has written over all his face that he still loves CSH n is waiting for her n is crazy for her.. But alas!! CSH can't see it!! He is still possessive of her when he asked that she doesn't have any relation with KJH.. The way he brought the dress which was someone else by stealing off made me anxious that he might be a person who would get what he wants by hook or by crook!! I m pretty much concerned abt him.. Plus the friend of KJH has understood that KJH has feelings towards CSH but it seems she will linger over!! 

    I guess CSH's husband will notice KJH n CSH while she comes back based on the preview from previous week.. I know there will be many heavy stuff but the couple moments which they will spent is what I m looking forward too!! 

    Longing and embracing

    P. S. Hope the ratings increase in upcoming episode.. But I would definitely say this show is getting fat better ratings with the shows that has broadcasted together with it.. So guys don't get disheartened.. Plus PBG n SHK r the best in showing Longing n Embracing feelings:kiss_wink:.. This feelings they brought to the characters can't be compared with any other characters!!
