why does lee dong gook try to force daebak to drink soju when the latter clearly said no. to me it's bullying that he tries to make him taste it more. no wonder south korea seems to be a country of drunk people parents encourage drinking. look at their dramas, there is always an obligatory scene of drunk women being piggybacked by the boyfriend. when she becomes dead drunk.
as for the guesting of sarang, nice to note she is now taller and more grownup.she should concentrate on her studies and more normal childhood. what about jion of uhm tae woong, how is she doing? is she now in school

how come the daughter of eugene does not appear regularly. i always anticipate rohui's appearance. i am amazed how sua and sul a are growing up. they are not as rowdy, uncontrollable, boisterous as they were a year ago. they are so prim and proper nowadays. also sua is really becoming a beauty. however the focus seems to be on daebak and not on them.
i wonder how sarang and the triplets are doing

@EvieRain yes i agree with you sua is growing up to be sensible, sensitve child. she doesn't grab toys and put one over her siblings. she is growing up to be a more beautiful child

ii am impressed with daebak and his problem solving skills. he observes, thinks of ways and means to get that banana out and how to finally eat it. he is bright and shows intelligence at such a young age. twins have different personallities even if they are twins. sula seems to be the onr with dominant personality while sua is the more compliant and submissive one. though both of them can be rowdy and mischievous most of the time. i don't know if you agree with me but dong gook seem to be not really disciplining them and maybe leaving that to his wife. but with the older girls, he is stricter specially with the tennis playing twin.
i love the three dads with their uber cute girls. i can't wait next week how they're going to do that but together they can learn from each other. how come rohee is not in this epi again?

i just saw bits and pieces of 'the return of superstar' ep 129 and i must say the daughter of oh ji ho is a winner. she's omly 5 months old but she is the mini me of oh ji ho with those standing, shock of hair. she is so cute and winsome. the new additions are as cute as they come.
also, the presence of the 2 older twin girls of lee dong gook is most welcome. they really a ct as noonas, telling what the rowdy sisters must and musn't do (but knowing the younger twins, they find ways and means to do what they want). they discipline their younger siblings . they teach daebak words which he mimics. he is developing his speech and social skills well. maybe from time to time in the a bsence of lee dong wook, the older girls should appear with their younger siblings.

in watching some of the back epis, i noticed that daebak is always the last priority when they eat, he watches them devour their food while he has to wait for his turn and this is for quite sometime. it happened not once but several times so much so that he hit the punching bag when his dad said think of sua and sula .
yes, in real life they must have some kind of help like in the case of 5 sibling family. i don't think the mother can take care of a toddler, 2 precocious and rowdy twin girls pus the pre teen daughters all of the same time. though the older girls help out in taking care of their younger siblings but they have school, tenns and other extracurricular activities. it won't be fair to tie them to be tied down and take care of their large brood.
i just saw some instagram pics of sarang and jiohn together in tokyo. jiohn is as tall or even a bit t aller than sarang now. both of them look relax and so fashionista.

yang dong geun already appeared today and i must say he is very entertaining. of course, it helps he is a very good actor. he has agreed to do this show since last year yet, the birth of his daughter was filmed and documented.

i read in an instagram post that the three new fathers and their kids will film their portion simultaneously. this will be a revamped 'return of superman'. the three dads and their kids will form the 5th family, in addition to lee hwi jae and his twins, lee dong gook and his twiin girls and daebak, rohee and ki tae young and lee bum soo and his kids. this will be fun. the show should continue to reinvent itself

agree! i remember how daehan was so traumatized by the teacher that the sight of a paper bill with an image reminiscent of the former made him hide it. diin't he hide it in a hole or something while they were on a train? these teachers give trauma to the kids

@EvieRainyes i remember other kids pooping on the show and one of the lingering images on my mind was that of jiohn moving her bowels while sitting on the toilet seat. korean viewers praised her toilet training.but on hindsight, that mage of jion on the throne is forever immortalized on the internet,i worry if may affect jion in her teen age years you may think this is maliciious but if seola is my own chiild i will never allow a stranger to wash her he is not family and a stranger, they only met him that day. i remember a u.s. drama called chicago hope. there w as this scene a medical doctor refusing to wash his adoptve daughter lest he be accused of statutory rape. i think scenes showing kids pooping, eating their boogers, half naked should be disallowed, i know they put a leaf on the private parts of the kids.. viewers may find it funny but at whose expense, these are kids.

how old is seola? she must be close to 36 months already and she isn't toilet trained yet? lee dong wook tried to sit her on the toilet seat and she refused. in another epi, she just squatted on the floor of the beauty parlor lobby and just did it. should their defecation everywhere be seen on worldwide tv? it will forever be immortalized since it is on the internet. i think this is one case of exploitation of young kids and it isn't funny.
but rohee is so cute and entertaining, her smiles with her crinkled eyes is so disarming. i read in instagram she recently celebrated her first birthday.

@klent i agree rohee can only do so much to entertain us. a squeal, a smile but still i find her cute. in another forum sula was compared to jiohn in terms of looks accdg to netiizens definitely sulah is more entertaining'. jiohn when she was in the earlier parts of the show was practically not doing anything, she didn't talk, she didn't mingle with kids her age and uhm tae woong did the talking for her. i only started watching when the triplets joined the show but someone pointed out that the twin boys started as babies and we saw them grow up to be toddlers. the twins may not have entertained us at that age but their dad did.. i think the producers should not choose babies as they maybe accused of exploitation , babies may not s tand the hours of filming and true they can only do so much. of course, they have to find kids whose parents have star value,, interesting . the triplets were a hit because they're triplets of song il gook. further, they really entertained us.

one of the reasons song il gook is respected and revered as a dad is the sense of social conscience he imparts to the triplets. their toys and old clothes are donated to the less fortunate kids, he seemed uncomfortable showing off their house,gadgets,, furnitures and their comfortable lifestyles. sometimes i feel that some families are showing too much of the kids expensive and lavish toys. i am really missing the triplets

@robbo4, how were they a ble to d etermine sulah has excess body fluids when they didn't get a blood test or any other kind of test. the oriental doctor just got their pulse rate ( which reminds me of how jang geum treats her patients in jewel in the palace). it is very interesting but not scientific and reliable in treatment of kids. they should go to a real pediatrician

i just finished a subbed ep 124 and i am surprised by suah and sulah's visit to the oriental doctor. suah is really taller than sulah but the latter is more active, lithe and faster than the former. i laughed when the doctor said sulah's ears a re full of earwax and her nostrils are dry. it may be a handfull for their mother to do all these work(cleaning, taking a bath, toothbrushing etc. e tc.), don't they have a nanny?.don't they receive food supplements, multivitamins etc. with their parents' wealth, they should have a supply for it. i am surprised also that lee dong gook is worried that since dae bak rarely cries, he may not be feeling pain at all. i wish we have an oriental medical clinic here. it looks interesting.

rohee is so cute and lovable in ep 124. i just love her outfits and headgears. she really is the mini me of eugene. sua is taller and prettier than su la she is also very loving noona to daebak.. i am missing sarang and the triplets though. there is no manse nor mingguk to make you smile at their lovable antics. i miss shiho and her high pitched voice when she calls ' sarang'.

i just watched subbed return of superman ep 121. that was not the last epi for sarang. it will be a long goodbye for sarang. she's frank and honest. asked who she'd like to invite to her party, she readily answered seon and seo jun. when asked about daebak and his sisters, she said they're a very noisy family. ha..ha..ha.. i remember how kbs world described their dinner and meals as a family ' war time or war like dinner of the 5 sibling family'. but i think the twin girls are mellowing since they're growing up, they do n ot jsut bang on their bowls with their utensils to ask for food. they're learning how to eat with grace and daintiness. lee dong gook is strict with their diet, not much sugar. but the twins are hyperactive just as well even with the absence of too much sugar

i noticed that in the pics and videos posted by song il gook the triplets are growing more vertically than horizontally. they're getting taller and slimmer rather than plump and pudgy. takes after their parents.
in yesterday's 'the return of superman' ep 121, there has been a change in the format i.e. each family is now featured in continuous sgments unlike before they're featured for several minutes then they returned later on. also was it sarang's last epi yesterday? they showed clips of her growing on the show . how she's grown in the 2 or nearly 3 years she was on the show. now she's looking more and more like her mom and she's also longlimbed. . if that was her last epi, here's wishing her the best, may the rest of her childhood be as normal, fruitful as possible, may she growup to be well adjusted and healthy, may she have a healthy relationship with her parents(particularly her mom who i feel is left out when she and her dad are together).

@HKongagree seolah is advanced than seoah though the latter is somewhat prettier than the former. also i noticed that seoah is slower when running or walking than seolah. this didn't escape the attention of ldg once said 'you're slow again seoah'. but they have excess energy when it comes to pulling pranks and naughtiness.
re eugene being informed about rohee's illness, of course she should be informed since she's her mother. at that age, rohee needs her mother more. it is a good thing they stopped filming her segment, rohee's health is more important than meeting filming deadlines.
about ratings, it is understandable that ratings would go down because the triplets and as well as their fans left the show. but give it some time, the drop in the ratings is not that dramatic. and there is the law of diminishing returns, the audience gets tired of the same formula and this is where the creativity of the writer or the drama producer comes in. they will have to reinvent the show, add more features as the market might just get tired of the current concept..

she didn't show this to us then because of her late development in speech and social skills. the timing of her entry in return of superman was premature, she should have entered at this point. when she is bigger, taller and much developed. .

as ratings would show return of superman went on without the song triplets and won in the ratings, proof that life goes on. i was watching it on kbs world with my sister and niece. my niece who is a film major marveled at the number of camera set ups used in a house. i wonder how much is the budget for this kind of show and the talent fee of each family, if it is really worth their while. the show has made the song triplets sensational stars in advertising based on the number of commercial films they have done.
ki tae young proved himself superman with the way he cared for 4 kids, reading to , cooking and playing with them.

just saw ep 116 and while it is sad to see the triplets go, it is just a natural progression of things. thank you song il kook and wife for allowing us to see part of the growing up of the triplets, you've done a wonderful job to date of raising your boys. just hope that they;ll update us from time to time of how the triplets are doing.. the family of lee bum soo is a welcome addition to ros.. they're natural and look comfortable in front of the camera/

oh yes the twins can talk better than seo on and seo jun and jion however i am not alone in assessment that the younger twins of lee dong gook are hot headed and stubborn. ldg tends to be lenient and lets them get away with things whenever they raise their voices and complain. they should be t aught that things don't always go theii=r way. he should try to discipline them. if he is so strict with his older girls why can't he apply it the younger girls. they're cute with what they're doing but not the best way to behave.

rohee is super cute! she is so easy on the eyes. how old is she? if she stays long enough we may be able to see her first walk, her first words , her first birthday just like with daebak. i don't want to sound mean, but the appeal of the twins suah and sulla is losing on me. they're growing up to be spoiled brats who hit each other. also that picking on their noses and putting their fingers on their mouth is a little too gross for comfort. i think lee dong gook is letting them get away with so many things and not even attempting to discipline them . he did make suah stand alone with arms raised but regretted it afterwards.hr should talk to them like what song il kook does to his triplets
the original twins can really breakdance and how! i want to see more dancing by them.
