Hi @andy78! I think so too. Maybe it was her plan all along to:
- Be taken to the capital by the old man who treated her to chicken and work in the inn so that she can come back to Jinywon
- When she was in there, she perhaps sensed the great energy Naksu had and planned to use it to go back to Jinywon faster
- Allowed Naksu to die so that she could live as Jin Bu Yeon and when when she’s done using Naksu’s energy..poof** it became Coco Crunch.
Hmmm I wonder if she’s got good intentions. She attempted to return the ice stone to the sky when she found it years ago. hmmm..

Now that I think of it, there was this overall theme of ‘hope’ on the last episodes as what our Crown Prince mentioned..and Jang Uk seconded.
- Hope for Jang Uk not hating CP **insert the ever charming turtle misunderstanding.
- Hope for Buyeon to be liked by Jang Uk as Buyeon (more than friends logic).
- Hope for Mama Jin to not really be all that bad since she showed the fire bird to Jang Uk anyway..- Hope for Dangu and Young Lady Jin’s 3-year-on-hold relationship to blossom.
- Hope for Park Jin and Kim Do Ju’s marriage to finally happen! Add to that hope to Park Jin’s cooking (one successful beef soup) lol
- And hope for all Daeho to be saved should Jang Uk choose to not do nothing.
- Also hope for Yul to take ‘responsibility’..
Holding on to this hope too for a good, satisfying, neatly tied ending for us chingus! **crosses fingers
Now.. how do I wait for Saturday without overthinking what will happen?! hahaha

Had a great time reading your thoughts chingus!
Too stunned here after watching episode 6. lol
- Had the same churn in my stomach about Park Jin and Kim Do Ju’s conversation. Add to that, Park Jin and Jang Uk’s conversation did not help at the mention of, “even if I die by your hands..” **shivers
- I’m guessing Naksu will run wild should Buyeon’s body reject her soul? Then maybe Uk will give up the ice stone in his body so that she can continue to live? **refers to the poem and history repeating itself (The thought of the most powerful assassin with Divine Powers running wild is crazy.)
- At first I was hoping for a good ending for Lady Heo. But after episode 6—down with her and her maid!!! lol
- The Queen is creeeeepy. And Seo Yul’s uncle is hopeless!
I’m still hoping for a happy ending for Uk and Naksu. They’ve suffered long enough and got hurt too many times to count already. **sobs

Totally agree with @partyon and @orion00!
I mean, I love our MuDeokie and all.
But there’s just this particular ‘click’ with Jang Uk and Buyeong. Explosive. Cute. Sexy. Sincere. Painful. Funny. Endearing.
GYJ’s take on the character is soooo innocent and sooooo fragile that I would want to send fireflies, cut her nails and doll her up too! lol

The owner may already have a peacock but the turtle has its charm so BuYeon needs to hold her head up. Naaaaw.. *heartfelt sobs
I actually cried many times more in this episode and felt our characters’ sorrows—yes, even for So-i and Lady Heo surprisingly. To each her own demise and heartbreak. *sighs
Wondering how everything will wrap up in 6 episodes so that Jin Mu will get a taste of the so-called justifications. lol. Good night from my end of the world chingus!

Hi chingus! I’m soo glad there’s this thread. All alone at my dad’s house and there’s no one here who can relate to any of my speculations! lol
A few thoughts:
- I actually like the setup that there’s Season 2 and how they aired it months after Season 1 and not like only weeks after. Maybe this gives more time for the fans to digest GYJ as the new FL.
- GYJ is a head-turner indeed! Such powerful visuals. I actually like her in a new character kind of way. Quite a fan of the blender too! *wink! @Ameera Ali
- Here and there are hints of drought. Hopefully they won’t go the line where Naksu in Buyeon’s body would have no choice but to extract the ice stone from Jang Uk to save Daeho from drought. Jang Uk dies then maybe they will have a daughter so Naksu is killed by Jin Mama too since she’s only looking for an heir. **pure tragedy
Looking forward to Ep. 3 and 4!

Wanted to add on Mr. Nam's skills as a special effects' make up artist. *wink!
Hopefully all skills will come to a significant play with their ongoing war with Babel.
NIce point @hankukin on Mr. Cho. Maybe he really is a special intelligence agent chasing the case on the Chinese owner, and the Guillotine file all along. And because of his built friendship with Vincenzo, he is willing to let him go - to Vincenzo's tears.
Also agree with @chuu18 on the romance part. I know it's not the show highlight but with all these fake outs, it's becoming a bit dragging than a build up.. though the awkward after effects of the finger flick part 2 was gold (Cha Young talking to her massage stick and the silence). *wink!
I love how our writer-nim also uses a general theme for an episode. Like the sweet potato for 'bad luck', the hugs Vincenzo is getting from many many people..and now the betrayal at gunpoints - from the Babel group, from Vincenzo's side..
I am also becoming surprisingly sympathetic towards JJW when he said about being buried in a nameless cemetery. He was almost killed thrice and I believe that was enough to shake him.

Amazed at how things turned out for episode 11! Allow my comparison to cooking - we got the right spices together to come up with an awesome episode.
DRAMA - The scene with Vincenzo and his mom was so heartfelt. Their eyes spoke what their hearts felt. Vincenzo was tired, and he ran to family for comfort - the comfort in knowing that he was not left out of rejection but in the hopes for him to have a better future.
ROMANCE - Despite the 'no-feelings-only-worry' conclusion from our Cha Young, the idea of both of them making excuses to talk until dawn was sweet. Rooting for a full blown kiss tomorrow! *here's to a hopeful giddy heart!
COMEDY - The hugging Mr. An? Daebak!
Did I just hear Adrenaline play in the bg? Lol.
PARALLELISM - I love how writer-nim plays with objects to emphasize a point; the sweet potato for bad luck, and now the hugging for..say, family?
POLITICS - There goes Chairman Han with Chairman Jang. And man, he's a sharp shooter and way cunning than he appears to be. *danger ahead!
Excited for another blast of our mafia 'corn salad' tomorrow!

Laughed at your comment about the gold @goldenashes97. I barely noticed it too as the web of deaths and sense of justice weighs more. Maybe that's how Vincenzo is feeling too, making Mr. Cho so mad, he's taking things into his hands.
Also as much as I wanted to see the kiss too, I agree with @shinystar1985 that it 'might' not be on tonight's episode. Maybe Inzhagi will interrupt them? Lol. Though the fangirl in me wishes otherwise. *wink!

Hi everyone! I am new to this thread and have been silently reading since I jumped aboard this drama.
And like many of the chingus here, I ended up logging in again to my Soompi account after five long years. The choice of name may have been very obvious to determine my past shipping days - swag.puppy.song) *wink!
Vincenzo just had enough magic to lure me out. Cannot blame the show as the sight of Soong Jong Ki and Jeon Yeo-Bin in suits is nothing short of eye-candy.
I love everyone's thoughts here too! Had super fun backreading and giggling at keen observations and show highlights. Thank you for making this journey worth the while!
Would also like to air out a few thoughts below as I am the only one watching at home, and I think I'm gonna burst from overexcitement if left to myself.
- I think Mr. Lee is a Jang Joon-Woo follower. I remember that JJW wanted to see Vincenzo in action. Mr. Lee must be the one in charge to take a video for JJW. Vincenzo was supposed to be in Geumga Plaza but when he went to the underpass, Mr. Lee also followed there after receiving a text message.
- I loooooooove the slow burn romance by our leads. We are getting crumb after crumb after each episode, which makes us want the 'hot' bread served even more. *wink! plays Adrenaline in the background (Please let me know should there be a shippers thread. I'm all in)

Hi again, everyone! This is actually the first time for me to:
- Finish a drama with Soompiers. (Either I join a thread because of a potentially good drama and not like the ending so I just lurk til the end or drop it all together..or the drama has been great with a fantastic ending but real life calls so I barely have time to share my heart out..or I just simply lurk and never delurk at all. Lol)
But IANAR changed that altogether! Even when real life calls, I intentionally make time to read "all" updates, share my random thoughts and enjoy everything with the Pretty Squad. *sends hearts and hugs
(me tears up..)
This has truly been worth the while and an experience I'll treasure for a long, long time. Like @zzj1 said, it was like a bowl of ramen with just the right ingredients in their right proportion and..as per @Berou, it's like a cup of hot chocolate to warm the cold winter.
IANAR not only is a mix of the right stuff because of the actors, cast and crew but I believe what makes it just right is also this thread and each and everyone here.
Gosh. I really teared up reading the "thanks" and "goodbyes". Like seriously.
Saranghae, chingus! And komawo.

And..loved your mini review btw! I love how you put it that IANAR is a love story done right in every way, because it truly is. It's just the right mix - from the OST to the actors to the plot, direction and the whole production! Not too mushy and not too stale.

Thanks for a very fun ride, Pretty Squad! Though I caught up with this thread a little bit too late, I loved every post! *sends hugs * Indeed, what makes watching Kdramas more worthwhile are the people with you who love it too!

This drama definitely makes it to the best that I've watched, naming WFKBJ (Lee Sung Kyung) and Full House (Song Hye Kyo) waaaaay back.
Now, for a quick love recap,
- I really love how our Ji Ah was able to establish herself as a successful entrepreneur with her own office, closing a foreign deal and off to her new project! Breaks the stereotype of female leads instantly becoming rich and living "the" life because they found a chaebol boyfriend. I love it how the writer did not take for granted the concept of "hard-earned work " through this.
- I love how Kim Min-Kyu was shown completing his mandatory military service. Wealth and popularity are never excuses for "responsibility" and that point was well-addessed - both as Kim Min Kyu and Yoo Seung Ho.
- I also really love how YC turned to the good side in the end. Gives us all hope that everyone can really change and "sincerity" can solve it. That goes as well on how our main characters made up with each other. It's simply being honest and sincere and communicating it well. *wink!
- I also love how they tied the primary conflicts of the main characters too! Dr. Hong was introduced as a failed robotics scientist due to his scandal but then he got his own platform in the end together with his team! Uri Min-Kyu also got healed from his human allergy and Ji Ah got to nail a deal for her inventions. Now that's a gift tied up pretty nicely. *clap clap
- Not to mention how I love the.. *ehem *coughs..rice balls! Hahaha. Loved our OTP too. So much. So Badly. That I'd really love to see them together again in another project. Probably a sageuk. Lol. This show made me a new fan of Yoo Seung Ho and Chae Soo Bin individually as actors. Their eyes convey different emotions in split seconds and take us all along with whatever they're feeling. Kudos! Well deserved! Daebak!

Before we watch the last full show, can I just air out why I love Jo Ji Ah so much? She's just so unlike any typical Kdrama heroine to date,
- She stops her man from his noble idiocy outright
- She drives his car on hot pursuit
- She protects her man in the front seat..and teases him of having butterflies on his stomach
- On a typical lying on the lap scene, she cutely complains that he's heavy
- And..she's beautiful, cute and sexy in one package!
I mean, could she get any cooler than that?!?
Also, if I were to award this drama, I'd probably give a shout out for these!
- The Most Awkward Brothers-in-law (MK and JB)
- The BEST and LOOOONGEST behind-the-scenes kiss footage
- The BEST kiss scene of 2018 as of yet..(How many times have we rewatched it?)
- The BEST and CUTEST couple conversation in one scene *swoons
- The most angst-worthy scene (whiskey glass breaking of Min Kyu-ah)
- The CUTEST couple..like ever!

Random thoughts before I had my client meeting earlier. hahaha
I’m guessing the real Buyeon has a line of thinking similar to Master Lee’s. More like a passive-aggressive approach to enacting justice?
- She said she would not have wanted Naksu to regain her memories to spare her of the pain. Naksu (on the first episode way back season 1) had been fatally wounded and was about to die. In a way, she borrowed time and found life and love for a fleeting 3 years through Buyeon’s body.
- As for Jang Uk, he got his redemption by having his energy gate open and speeding up his training. He died but also borrowed time with the ice stone.
- Was Buyeon planning to eject Naksu’s soul peacefully and also remove the ice stone from Jang Uk’s body and return it to the sky like what she attempted to do at the lake before Jin Mu knocked her out? Will this be her sense of justice?
Hmmm if so, I hope she turns the light off on this as well as be a foolish friend and turn a blind eye to the situation. She’s also borrowing life herself since she’s not supposed to be born in the first place. **deep thought
