    ....and I thought that mortals have it tough ....those pesky choices that Heaven gave us as free will and make us dance to the unknown tune , all our authentic selves  ....that is why I personally rebel at one answer fits all  , BUT Energy of Love is the winner everywhere , anywhere, anytime .   Super beautiful drama,  I Adore  Moon Supreme, he looked soooooo good when he came in to pick up his love from the cave  :kiss_wink:  powerful, fierce and attractive  :kiss_wink:

    I don't care how much money was spent or what standard somebody is trying to peg this drama...It has its standard from my end at 100% ..

    I am in love with this drama , which means all its best and its worst combined , yin and yang , moon and sun . The Moon Supreme  is to die for and so is the God of War  and our little Orchid is totally adorable .   

    P.s. if you like the drama , please watch.....if you don't like the drama , please watch something that gives you as much joy as this drama gives to me , in all its glory and story .

    43 & 44  Both Concort Yue and Empress are such beautiful women ...almost like night and day in personalities, and yet almost identical goodwill and kind hearts :heart: :heart:  Our CSS is actually amazing....no fear to venture on her quest to find her father ...no wishy washy here  100% decisive  .  

    YS stood by her again and let her see her family , stood by General W when he applied chiropractic treatment to the cowardly official ....he has changed so much from a solitary and pompous  person to a human with surprising acceptance of standing by 'his friends' and helping them wholeheartedly .

    Our General LBY holllyyyyy molly can the man fight but also gently press the acupuncture point on his beloved with such gentleness ....and the chicken feathers will become legendary .

    @hush puppy, @rabbit_casa.... wow you two are the best ...Merci !!!    I thought we somehow knew that General Huo was LBY's father ...or did I dream that part LOL....but think poor kid had to carry his father's murderers last name for most of his life .  Each episode is serving us faithfully , but your information is that cherry on the top and I am glad to have you sharing . 

    Q?   So Ling (fake father) does not recognize that LZY is not his real son, and did he kill his own real son ? 

     

    On Aug 13  I just read "  Congratulations to Love Like The Galaxy team as it reached 5 billion views in 37 days from its premiere date on Tencent

    "I think"  that maybe,  just maybe,  Consort Yue might have liked General Huo and the Emperor was relived that his competition , even though he loved him as a brother' was done in by somebody else ?   That competition between Consort Yue and BY's 'mother'  was thrown in so we only have 13 eps to line up the puzzle pieces.  But , definitely, there is something about the brother and uncle of SS's first fiancee.... did not like the uncle from the start , but i did not think brother would have the might at that age to carry out such phenomenal crime. 

    Additional note: I did forget LBY's fake father and now that I am reading more comments , how can I forget that sleaze bag .

    If you all recall the earlier episode where they both returned from War after 15 years? General Wan was awarded a New House.  While Cheng Shi was only given the "Marquis Title".  But General Wan gave his old house to Cheng Shi.  That is how they got a new house.  Which means General Wan took good care of Cheng Shi.

     

    Welcome back @hush puppy  thank you for updating, I honestly appreciate it . This drama has my full attention at this moment,  and knowing this information just makes it more complete and understandable for me. 

     

    I was wondering in the last two episodes what was going on and what the Emperor was rambling on about promoting poor and nobles being against it ...I was not connecting or understanding ...I mean I knew that CSS's grandmother was from the country/farming family,  but I just assumed that being a General you get the same rewards after the victory .  Now , when I think back , I remember when during SS's bridal shower somebody asked about her brother and QiQi and there was this pregnant silence with mother diplomatically sidestepping the answer ...and the reason the brother would enter / merry into the Wan family.   

    Episodes with 'pinyin'   41 & 42 started with death and imprisonment so i think our honeymoon with comedy and amore will be getting more gut clenching scenes .    

    I loved how Z threw the 'keys' to SS before leaving and I also love him for wearing the chicken feathers . :kiss_wink:

    I was so into the episode 39, that when it came to the end  I was really surprised.  As  @Latte_Anyday   said, BY's  army was  like a SWAT team and his skill and decisiveness truly awesome.  I like this man's firmness, his strength and his ability to stand erect and in full control, under the most daunting situation ....wow  .    YS's mama also surprised me , she finally left her adobe and 'involved' herself with her family and took notice of her son . 

    ep 40 shows me that my love and respect for Consort Yue is well earned. This is not a position that any woman likes to be in and yet she remained so true to herself and justice , that my admiration skyrocketed.

    Now that i got my fill I'll share ...ep 37 was full of good revenge ...our girl is lucky that she can get away with them and even be admired for having been considerate and only apply her revenge after the Empress's banquet. :naughty:  and the 5th princess got her boomerang , in spades .   

     

    ep 38 we get more hot and bothered , especially late at night, warm blanket , flute and kisses ...and the conversation that goes something like this " shouldn't we be doing this after we are married" ....LOL .....'dream on' ......:love:

    @jadore1  Cheng Shao Shang may be cheeky.  But actually, she is still very immature and innocent in many ways.  So the words she says may sounds very "Funny" at times.  Fortunately she is a good person.  Which is why Ling Bu Yi falls for her.   

     

    I just remember one thing.  The day Cheng Shao Shang was borned, her Parents had to leave for Gu City to assist General Huo Chong.  And they never return till 15 years later.

     

    And on that day itself,  Ling Bu Yi lost his Parents.

     

    So we can say that both Ling Bu Yi and Cheng Shao Shang lost their Parent on the Same Day.  

     

    Cheng Shao Shang for 15 years.   Ling Bu Yi - Forever.   They are definitely linked by Destiny.  Meant for each other.

     

    @hush puppy it is my pleasure reading your updates and the bits of relevant  information that you provide are priceless (thank you)  ...please tell me that GSS will one day find this out and absolve her parents from making a decision that any parent would have made....my god , just think her mama just gave birth and rode into a full fledged war , no post natal care  or concession to her health ...I am so glad that I never jumped on her decisions and tried to trust in her higher good .

    Did I wish them  smooth sailing in their engagement haha   ...I should have remembered that the General never dated before and is totally clueless on what CSS likes, but since he was so 'desirable' for the rest of the ladies just the way he is,  he never needed to change or even contemplate change /smile.  Mind you during the  carriage ride he is asking CSS to talk and she is being honest,  so small steps ... I guess I am waiting for the hearts to start pulsing even though they barely know each other . 

    I forgot to mention the teacher :warning: he is ready and willing to spoil this engagement ...auch

    I want to talk a bit about General Ling Bu Yi:

     

    General Ling Bu Yi is steadfast both literary and military.  Loyal and Patriotic.  Devoted and Affectionate to the Ones he adored. The Prince Charming of countless women in the Capital.  In a Nutshell, he is the Dream Lover, Mr Right.

     

     

     

    @hush puppy     WOW hush puppy your analysis is beautiful , thank you . Its amazing how we see certain things in a drama and now that you mention them ,I took them for granted and was almost oblivious to them LOL.....Merci .   Everything that you pointed out now shows us the characters with their yin and yang especially respect for the hierarchy . You are a genius . I hope at least they have few episodes of glorious engagement before we deal with the chaos.

    Our Shao Shang is still a baby  :cookie: ...ep23 @28)  she is only 15 , almost 16  ...compared to the parasite princesses she has lived already through almost raising herself , engagement and mature and guiding end of the same, parental absence and expectations, war in the country and stepping in fearlessly to offer help and be responsible .  So maybe she may not repeat like a parrot certain saintly teachings that are confusing , she has managed to carve and serve her reality with utmost diligence . I can see why LBY would value her and love her for exactly who she is and how she is - pure unpolished diamond .   As for Mama , I honestly think that she knows what a wiper's nest awaits her (and her treatment by the royals in such a short time showed us ) so she tried to discredit her in the eyes of the crown, but it backfired , or maybe not ...what Mama said is nothing in comparison what the little worms were sprouting , but that type of scorn and setback is nothing new for CSS and LBY so they do what they have always done, fight and rise above their foe . So Happy Engagement to CSS and YBL :love:.

    Just joining the party now, sorry I am late lol.   I am enjoying this drama very much. (I saw 8.7 /10 on one of the sites and I am glad ....i think I would go even 8.9  )  

    The characters are varied and plenty . Our FL of course is funny, street smart  and I love her mouthy dialogue . ML fell for her just by hearing her and only seeing her hand ...but he got her name and the poor guy has never been the same ...I love his care and his selflessness even when she got engaged to Yao. The teacher I think is also in love , for the first time in his life and he too fell in love just by hearing her answer to the riddle . He does not know how to love another person , besides himself lol ....so he is fumbling and being catty with our FL instead of admitting what his real fascination is with this woman that is almost 180 degrees his opposite. Father and Mother are characters of their own..and I get the kick seeing Shao Shang doing something exactly like her parents....there was a good orchestra in the slapping spree and when she returned with her father in ep 22 they identically swoosh their chest energies to disperse stress of the moment .

    Taaaa daaaa The End. They kiss and the fireworks go off ....its Celebration time . Congratulations to Ning Meng and Lu JM they gave us a very good drama and I will miss them .    I forgot to share that this is the actor that started me on c dramas when I saw a picture of him as Yu Wen Yue in Princess Agents 2017 and I've been in c drama land now for 5 years , but Seven Tan is the one that totally rocked in this drama and revealed beautiful human characteristics . I thank the writer for our  little Lemon :kiss_wink:
