But for the acting as his original goal? I'm not sure because I never heard Eric wanted become an actor. And I heard it was SM to push him to act to replace Dongwan at the first time. And the PD said he was so terrible when reading his first script and asked him to decide whether he wanted to continue or not...hahaha.... I'm not saying Eric is great actor. But he did improved year by year with different characters. Eric's struggle as an actor is no joke. He faced everything more than what idol-actors face now especially when he became the highest paid idol-actor in 2008 when received Strongest Shilwoo (?) (and I think the first highest paid idol-actor). I read so many hate comments about that. That time he got around 20-30 million won per episode. Glad to see him getting love more and more from korean drama lovers. Hope to see him back to our screen soonest.

i never saw about eric act because sm push him. And i think sm cant push eric to do something he won't to do. I even heard in the past reality show, that eric even can critize about management in sm. Althought when he be ceo of shinhwa he know why sm doing that. And feel gratefull toward lee son man

How did you get Andy's standee from?  Kpop conference in the Philippines?  I remember ShinPhil was well presented at Kpop conventions.  You guys had so many stuffs that others fandoms were quite envy at the collection

 

@meira23, I think so part of that is also they think it's not fair for idols not having proper training/acting classes but keep getting lead roles and takes away the chances for those that comes out of acting school.  It's easy to say turn down the offer if ones doesn't think he/she is good enough for the job... I personally think it's not that easy to pass the opportunity when the production, casting PD has no problem sending idol actors/actresses offers.

Eric's acting career isn't all smooth but I'm happy he left his marks with 3 high rated dramas.  Nothing will be popular forever and I'm glad Eric has a good balance of acting & Shinhwa's activity.

agree with you, about the reason why some knetz looking down for idol-actor. i think production team sending idol offer because it can increase the rating. Like suzi or iu, some knetz always badmouthing about their acting. But they still got lead role and good rating.

for eric, i remember he said that even if he got chance to go back to his past, he wont go. His road not always smooth, there are some difficult thing. But i think he doing his best, so he wont regret it some day.

na hye mi so beautyful in those video. People just saw what they want saw. If reporter post this beautyful hye mi maybe their article not booming. Because there will not be people saying hyemi ugly, old, or what eric did until he got her.

And high profile idols are so rich that even could be compared to the successful actors. See, Bigbang, Super Junior, SNSD, Shinhwa, DBSK. Some of them even didn't touch any other fields beside being musician but so so rich, example G Dragon, Taeyon, Yunho etc. Once become successful idols, it guarantee they would never been hungry lol.. because every time they go somewhere, fans will give them foods, souvenirs etc. Even for just say press conference of drama or movie, the rice wealth from fans could reach tons. They don't realize that being idols can get you whatever you want and idols fandom is so strong and they're ready to defense their oppas or unnies like no tomorrow. I think Eric is kinda lucky since he hold 2 jobs successfully (until now). He is loved by korean drama lovers but also Shinhwa fans. 

I dont know idol in your opinion is for all idols or just idols actor. but in my opinion they just looking down to idol-actor because there are some argument that if idol does act, being actor or actress they just good looking without skill.

For Yunho dbsk eventhough his acting is not great compare to yochun or jaejoong he also an actor beside that i think he does modelling too. He act in poseidon, forget the tittle but he has drama with go ahra, and the last project before his military service is i order you.

eric is one of the best guy in the world. He doing great with his life. Proud of him

I think that eric maybe know that dispatch or else paparazzi caught them.

Maybe just my delusional think, but the way ricminjindi talk about fish and fishing ini their vlive after mukbang give feeling that actually they didnt talk about fish. Maybe junjin and andi also have a girlfriend.

I dont know about na hye mi, because there is just a few news about her. I saw an old video about her and i think she is a shy and nice girl. The way she talk seems like yumi. So maybe i can like her.

i know shinhwa but dont give attention before amo. feeling deeper with eric from discovery of love and shipping eric with yumi. then know that yumi has a rumour with yoo ah in. So not give a big hope for them together.

Am I the only one who keeps thinking that it was Eric singing that song? That scene suits Eric-PDK a lot and the voice is so similar to his - remember the song Erase all of Time he recovered it with Lynn?
