Now, this is something that melts my heart!
As to the viewing party, coca-cola and chocolate. Very healthy. :))) I would totally grab chocolate though.

Let me get this straight....he really meant his very first kiss for the camera, not his very first kiss in his life, right?
Just kidding
Even though I'm a year late to the party, I still want to comment on this and say that my mom basically said the exact same thing with regard to the "first kiss" story. She was like, "Well, but it didn't look like that."

Up to six fans? Wow... That's a very private fansign.
First off, I would buy all those goodies with "Reply 1988", and it does not matter that I don't speak Japanese. The ringtone on my phone is from "Reply '88". The lock screen is a fan art of Taek and Deoksun. So, if I could, I would get my hands on anything with "Reply '88".
Second, those pictures for JEstina! Bogum & the piano, especially if it's a grand piano, is one of my favorite things ever! (If there's a choice between a photo of him and a photo of him at the piano, I always choose the second option. ahaha )

That fan art though! :)) The one with Bogum and a baseball bat/an upside-down bottle of champagne. :)) Love it!

@badukstone Hehehe, can't give more details but if you revisit these bits you will see his clueless expression to the reaction from his surroundings. Coin Locker Girl press conference, Reply 88 bts Deok Sun dancing at Taek's room, KBS ent weekly interview the one he wears red suit.
It seems we'll have to agree to disagree. (I do agree with you to some extent but not completely.)

@badukstone these questions, i think it is amazing how literally 2 roles shaped his career, they will never get old , at least for him.
I beg to differ. If the nature of that question was different every time and/or more in-depth, then yes, sure. Yet, what I keep hearing is people asking him who resembles him the most. Frankly, at this point I can answer that for him. :)) It's the same answer with some variations here and there. So, yes, it's getting old. That being said, I am aware of the importance of those two roles. It's just that there are other ways to talk about them.
@onlysb1 Well, if we're looking at it from that point of view, then yeah, I might agree, but not in general (not outside of that scenario). :))
@ccube3 But isn't it that anyone can carry a torch? I believe that it can be almost anyone, as long as s/he is older than 14 years old. At least that's how I remember the rules, but I might be wrong. I mean, it doesn't have to be an athlete. However, I agree with you that it's an honor to be chosen to carry it.

Yeaaaas, the forum is alive! At last!
Patiently waiting for new roles, new interviews (the question about Taek and Lee Young is getting old...). As for me, I think Bogum is aware of how attractive he can be. He's a low-key flirt. :))

Love that color on him! (I'm talking about the pics for Kstyle.)

With regard to "I Remember You", I think Lee Min is what really helps the drama not to fall apart. Frankly, I've skipped though it after a bit because - and this is one of the reasons - the main character isn't my type (I don't mean physically). However, Bogum's character is interesting. Indeed. Min is unapologetically creepy yet not grotesque, which is a very good thing. He's so nonchalant about the events that it sends shivers down my spine. I've talked about this everywhere, it seems, but that scene in ep. 15... The dialog with the female lead. That's such a fine scene! And he's very natural.
QuoteWhen you watch his scenes you have to concentrate 100%, if you blink you may not see the change of his expression or the emotion in his eyes, because they change in less than a second.
Exactly.
On a side note, I couldn't sleep last night, so I watched the fan meeting in Singapore (almost in its entirety) for the first time. Obviously, there were things I hadn't seen before, and I was trying not to laugh too loud at three in the morning.
I for one love the fact that Bogum mixed English and Korean. His "just a second" was fabulous. Then, the host's comment to a fan about not putting her finger in Bogum's mouth when reenacting the scene from "Reply 1988". And, of course, Priscilla.Priscilla, if you're lurking on here, why so harsh? I laughed out loud at Bogum saying how he puts his heart into it, and all those accompanying moves of his! The dinner for two was great, too.
The best part, though, was the host's question, "Tell me, deep in your heart what do you want to do?" And then Priscilla's facial expression. Oh my gosh, priceless! :))) (Thanks to Jiyeong for the video.) So true.

Wait a second... Isn't the writer's name (for DOTS) Kim Eun Sook and not Kim Eun Hee (the one mentioned in the article)?- 5

Of course, that's okay to say it, Bogum! They had a question, and you had an answer. Do you.

"National's baby deer". The right moment for a reference from "Youth Over Flowers". A springbok.
I haven't watched any of Lee Byung Hyun's works, so I can't be the judge of his talent. Meanwhile, I would love to see Bogum in a drama and in a movie. (No offense to anyone, but fan meetings can wait.) As long as his role is well-written, just like the rest of that particular drama/movie, I'll be content. He should do whatever he thinks he should do for his own pleasure and growth as an actor.
That being said, I dislike it when there's so much focus on comparing him to a deity (to whatever extent). Not because it contradicts/offends my beliefs or incites doubts, but because I feel like it's just too much. I am very apprehensive about such number of praises in the media, etc. (It applies to anyone, not just Bogum.)

Speaking of Priscilla's father, a man who can cook is sexy. And Bogum is a low-key flirt.
(That reminds me of how yesterday my mom and I were watching a scene from "Wonderful Mama", in which his character tricks the girl into kissing him. My mom goes, "If I saw those sparkling eyes, I would become suspicious right away." )

Oh, I love that look! A green jacket, a white hoodie. Really nice.

Hoping for Bogum to get some rest 'cause seeing him being super skinny due to exhaustion isn't that fun. And Bogum, you're good with the whole chapstick thing! It's like saying "give me a band-aid".
Bogum's facial expression of intense concentration and whatnot is so spot-on in that last fan art!!! Brilliant!

No offense to anyone, but some people sure like Photoshop. But those pictures from the observation deck are lovely! Also, he looks so concerned in the "Find a Lady in Green" series. That was very kind of him. Very much so.

Any word yet on his guest for the Seoul FM? I hope it's Go Kyung Pyo coz I loved their interaction from YoF Africa. Or any of his Reply 1988 hyungs.
That would be so wonderful! I would love that!
@dahae2006 Oh my goodness... Wow... He's insane.
@mai5116 Five thousand?.. Ok, that just took it to a whole new level. I'm speechless.
@MichelleBG I'm very happy for you!

Wait a second... He gave a high five to three thousand people?.. Are you kidding? Three thousand people? Holy monkeys...
@dahae2006 Thank you for posting that compilation!

Thank you for all the updates! I always read these messages with great interest, and I'm VERY happy for everyone who had a chance to attend the fan meeting in whichever country.
With regard to cooking, well, someone is better at cooking, others are better at washing dishes, cleaning, or whatever. I'd rather have people do what they are good at. (Sun Woo's mom comes to mind. lol) That makes more sense. :))

Ok, that video of him looking for that woman is truly touching! It's really, really nice of him. (Bogum, please take care of yourself. Eat, sleep whenever and wherever you can.)
And that fan video! (Here I'm doing my little dance because it's in English, and I don't feel like such a loser. Now, if only the hosts had sat down for a bit... ahaha) That's sweet.
I've been continually impressed with the fans' creativity regardless of where they come from, and I'm so thankful to people for showing their support in such wonderful ways. Obviously, I'm not Park Bogum, yet I've had so much fun just watching these fan projects without even being able to read the captions. It's one of those things to which I have been looking forward at every fan meeting. (My special 'thank you' to all the Taiwanese fans.) It's so awesome that I don't think I have the right words to describe it.- 5

It's like the epic culmination, the movie version, of all the failed handshakes from his meet-and-greets.
He really has a way of turning awkward situations into happy ones. His first attempt of throwing the other paper planes was a big flop (landed in the first row?). Then he gave an apologetic smile and said "That's a present from me." After which, he proceeded to throw a paper plane that had a lot of "air" time.
It sure is memorable! lol I'm glad Handshake Cinderella returned, and the handshake did take place after all.
I doubt mine would fly at all. Props to Bogum for trying! :))

That "handshake" video is definitely in the category of #EpicBogumMoments So far, I have three on my list from all these fan meetings: first, apologizing for being too slow when cutting a cucumber; second, "this is Kpop"; third, the "Handshake Rejection".

TNGT and Bogum do wonders for me. I'm repeating myself here, but I absolutely love the style and the way Bogum looks in their clothes. Very, very handsome. Such a classy look. (Not only in their suits.)
