  1. I just don't see how this ship will ever sail or if I even want to see it sail. They are just in a different class.  While there isn't a backstory on her yet, Jhj is from an elite family. I do cheer on for strong woman characters who can stand up for themselves and not afraid to do the right thing even if it means kicking richard simmons but I just don't care for her methods. It was good to know that she didn't join Song&Kim because of her greed but she was threatened with her past. Still I do enjoy the show and I'm looking forward to find out how she will get the other attorneys to work with her on the D&T case she is likely to need JhJ's help.

  2. I've just watched both episode. Things were a bit slow in the first and then it felt like everything went all over the place. There's this stigmata killer then the school bullying stuff and some shady goings on with New Life Church and the Foundation. At this point i'cant figure it out yet. I hope it will become clear in the coming episode. Anyway i don't think Eun Ho died but seriously injured, that reminds me of the drama Class of Lies.

My opinion is that HJ fell in love with the real GJ and vice versa.

i thought that the GJ that HJ fell in love with was a fake. She had thoroughly studied him before moving in on him but i won't deny that she like him, who wouldn't? He handsome, attractive and likable. I can see a hint of jealousy when she said his date had got her face completely redone but she look pretty even without surgery.

I understand that GJ is not joining Song &Amp as just an attorney but a 'partner' meaning she is in one of the top position and entitled to a share of the profits.

Just one thing, every time Choi mentions the organization (aside from wanting to pull my hair) I always thought he was talking about the police force but on ep10 he gave me a vibe that he was talking about something else, like a mafia of sorts.

I had the same thought too. I don't believe the 'organization' he was referring to is the police force.

JiMin was a juvie case, Choi put him through college and  later brought him in the police force. In other words JinMin is an investment for their 'organization'. I believe they may be involved in organized crimes and people like Choi and JiMin are their moles in the police force. Could the Commissioner be one of their heads in the organisation and Isu found out about it.

  5. I don't think the killings has anything to do with the gangs wars. We clearly saw what the helmet guy did with the bald guy and the other guy whom OHJ saw was also killed in the same manner. The helmet guy is either working on his own or on someone's orders. He also planted the poison in the fish tank in HTS's office.

You see I am with you about thinking maybe they trying to protect  the witness  not harming him even if I think of different  reason

HTS was probably protecting him so he will not spill the beans. This may have to do with the secret of five years ago.

  6. I must admit i was thrilled when they were even at end of ep2.  Whatever her back story was i just didn't like that she fooled him to steal the info that won her case. I believe he genuinely liked her.

In that scene where he was reminiscing about her i can't help notice that she looks like his noona.

That's why I can't imagine that the car accident was just a coincidence. Furthermore, she lost her child the same way HS disappeared.

Just like PJW was manipulated, I have the impression that NSC and KNH could have been manipulated as well.

The way KNG bludgeoned NSC to death tells me she is not just a psycho mom who lost her child she may have been brainwashed like LeeBoGwang, the Vet and KSH.

By the way, I was right about the corpse in the appartment. The man was dead

GS must be a real nutcase. Why the need to preserve the body with formalin and leave the the TV on for the corpse.

As for 'The Guy' being a hitman i find that weird. Hit-man are not serial killers they have a purpose. I say that because he seems to be waving his hand to some music in the background like a psycho.

  9. did Hwang's failure to fire a warning shot at Gyeong Su have something to do with I Su's death?

That was the best episode so far and what a twist. To think that for 5 yrs OHJ had himself confined to that space  while carefully and meticulously planned that confrontation with 'The Guy' was quiet chilling. I suppose one needs to be a psychopath to beat another psychopath.   Apparently GyeongSu is not 'The Guy' but was merely used by him like the other serial killers and i don't think he has anything to do with SY's mother hit and run case. Looking back at the scene of the hit and run accident in ep1, the driver does look like the guy who abducted HyunSoo.

  10. i was a bit surprised that they revealed 'The Guy's' face so soon. I have a feeling that he may not be 'The Guy' and the real one could be that person he was talking to in the living room but doesn't talk back.

    4 hours ago, bebebisous33 said:

From my point of view, the guy in the flat must be dead and it could be true that this man was his twin.

haha how is that possible having a corpse in his living room?

Remember that the woman in the store said he look different, I think this explains the pic of LBK that SY saw is different from the pic that JiMin saw. They could be related may be brothers. The mute guy looks like an invalid probably from that accident/fire 5 yrs ago and his kid brother is using his identity to exact revenge.

We know that during the interview, 11 victims were mentioned and the peppermint candy was at the crime scene. What caught my attention is that the peppermint candy is always placed differently: for the profiler on the table, for the vet in his mouth, for KSH on the table, for Go in the suitcase... They couldn't figure out yet what kind of persons were targeted implying that there were men and women among the victims. Therefore I am inclined to believe that all the victims could have used the taxi right before their death.

Since he killed the profiler Na and the two serial killers, I have the impression that he must have been looked down by his victims before and in different kind of situations.

I believe for Go Min Ji, the peppermint candy was found in her mouth, likewise for KSH ( i think you have to rewatch ep3) the forensic guy picked the candy from KSH's mouth, that is his consistent behavior pattern. But for NJS, like someone said the situation did not permit him to place the candy in his mouth.

I wonder if before before the Vet and KSH his victims were only women. The Guy could have been abused as a child and the peppermint candy was given to him by his abuser to shut him up

  12. okay i'm not going to be a spoil spot and go into every incompetence of the police or rather what the writer have made them in this drama because it just not going to be fun for me. However i do cringe at the fact that they let the body of JunSeok hanging there while the forensic's team were doing their job.

@bebebisous33 i was thinking about your theory earlier on. There may be a connection between the boy in the car (SY's mom's accident) and the killer/'The Guy'. After ep4 we get to know more about 'The Guy''s character/profile. Looking at his desk, he is someone neat and tidy and takes pride in his work, hence he doesn't take it too kindly when KSH tried to take credit for the murders. He thinks he is good at his game and is thrilled at not being caught thus far henced he killed ChanKu because CK saw his face and he only thinks of OHJ as his challenger that is why is trying to lure him out of hiding and wants to challenge OHJ to catch him.  What i wanted to say is that the boy/the driver in the car got away with killing SY's mom. He probably got excited and thrilled at getting away with murder.  I re-watch that scene and the boy looks SY's age while the driver is older and could be his brother. I also believe that they have a connection to someone higher up in the police force that was why the case was closed without further investigation by the detective. Anyway that is just my theory.

Actually, I have been wondering if the murderer of KSH is really The Guy from 5 years ago... the actual perpetrator looks very young. And the commissioner certified that The Guy had died in front of him. Sure, there are still some doubts. I had this thought, that the actual serial killer could be the son of The Guy who died 5 years ago. I came to this idea because of the death of CYJ's mother. In the car, there was a man with a boy. What if the serial killer has raised him in order to turn him into a serial killer?

I didn't actually get from the sub that the commissioner saw "The Guy' die in front of him. He said that he was sure it was him. Looks to me like Chief Choi was telling the commissioner he was the one who confirmed 'The Guy's' death in the accident/fire. I believe for some reason the commissioner must have hurriedly closed the case 5 yrs ago. How was the death confirmed? by his DNA? Now they are worried they will be a blame for doing a sloppy job if the guy emerged from the dead.

I don't get the connection between the serial killer and the boy in the car. Wasn't that a hit and run, the driver must be a prominent guy and the the detective must have been pressured to close the case without any further investigation.

  14. Yes definitely more suspence in ep3. The scene of the vet choking KSH was too graphic I was surprised they let it play on till he turn black and blue.

@budgerie you brought up some points that I actually wanted an answer to. Yeah! How did OHJ knows there is someone else in the house? My bet would be that hearing piece SY puts in her ear to communicate with OHJ. The device must be really powerful to pick up the surrounding sound and likewise at the warehouse.

I don't think that the vet is 'The Guy' but I'm quite sure that he is an accomplice of KSH. The hooded guy at the police station was smaller built then the vet.

It does look like the handsome detective (JiMin) is about to betray Chief Choi, must be the usual story, just don't tell me he has a sick family member.

Could KSH have been threatened? He looked worried looking for his dog, there were many pictures with him and his dog, I wonder how is that related? Whose blood was on his shirt?

Did they tested the blood on his shirt? They only found the DNA of the missing girl on one of (was it his knives)? When Hwang told him about discovery of the DNA he look surprised.

KSH may be mentally unstable but I can't imagine him to grotesquely killed the girls then sitting idly on the chair looking at his handiwork.

  16. I've just picked up this drama and came here to quick read all the post here, interesting analysis. Not a bad start for the first two episodes. Reminds me of the 'Bone Collector' movie.

I have been wondering how the serial killer Kang Seung Hwa could kill so many people without getting noticed before. The police didn't suspect the existence of another serial killer.

Did KSH really killed those girls? Its likely that the real killer used him to lure OHJ out from hiding seeing that he was killed after he confessed to the murders. The RIU was called in after they found the peppermint with the body in the suitcase.

And finally, I really enjoyed this show when it aired & never had a single boring moment!! Feel sad that it is finished!! :( And this series had high viewer ratings & I believe Namgoong Min is a popular actor in K-drama land!! But how come this thread only has 13 pages even the series ended its run..???! This thread should have reached at least 50 pages by now..... But no!!!!  What a shame!!!!

When i first joined this thread i was quiet surprised too that it had only reached 10 pages even when the drama was nearing its completion. I assume the only factor is that there was zero romance in the drama. Maybe if there is Doctor Prisoner2 i want Dr Han paired with NYJ with some added romance and probably we'll get to see these pages moving.

  18. Spoiler! (for those who haven't seen the finale)

haha! so LJH being in a coma was a fake after all! not even MYR knew!  NYJ had expected LJJ to inject LJH with the same substance he did his father because he thought LJH had Huntington's diseases. NYJ planned everything and injected LJH with a substance to counter the effects and had LJH record that incriminating conversation He's so smart!!

The ending was good over all. Surprising that Dr Seon wasn't arrested or something like that despite him being a corrupted guy. Anyway I like that Dr Seon and NYJ are working together. I would love to see them in Doctor Prisoner 2, anyone?

  19. I wasn't surprised that NYJ and the gang failed to secure the video showing LJJ trying to kill LJH. It all seems too easy and i can't believe NYJ would think LJJ could easily walked into his trap without having prepared in advance even though he managed have the audio of that episode. The question is: what substance did LJJ inject LJH with? He told NYJ that it was not the same substance he injected his father with. If LJJ knew that it was a set up to trap him the substance he injected into LJH may not be enough to kill him. At the end of episode we see Prosecutor Jung and his team heading in supposedly to arrest LJJ. On what grounds? Was it about the laborers of Taekang chemicals?

  20. Another late comer here. I had wanted to wait until the all episodes were completed but after watching episodes 1 and 2 was really hooked and couldn't hold back! hahaha now the waiting is killing me:sweatingbullets:

@confusedheart7997 if you're a fan of NGM you should definitely see him in GWSS he is good as a baddie there but that didn't make me dislike him. It means he is a good actor.

Anyway, moving on to LJH, I'm sorry I could not sympathize with him. His sob story could not melt my heart. He is beyond redemption. He is a cold- hearted, calculating, ruthless murderer, without any feelings of compunction or regret. Despicable!

Also, why is NYJ unable to see what a back stabber Director Seon is! I don't understand why sometimes intelligent characters acting completely contrary to themselves. I hope this is just a ploy on NYJ's part to fool and to bait the bigger fish. I think this might be the reason why I didn't like the latest episode. Can we get the old sharp witted NYJ back, please?

Like you i have no sympathy for LJJ. I don't know why writers tend to make these characters have a backstory to justify their evil deeds.

I am quiet sure NYJ has everything covered. He knows Director Seon cannot be trusted and you may be right to say its his ploy to bait the bigger fish. This drama is quiet fast pace in that if Seon wins in one episode NYJ quickly makes up in the next.

  21. Just finished watching this drama. Such a beautiful and endearing love story, even though it was slow and moving at some point i didn't find myself hitting the ff button and was more focus on their conversation.  Can't seem to get it out of my system yet. Both leading actor and actress delivered a commendable performance and the other casts were amazing. Its my first time seeing PBG in a drama and i think he did an awesome job as Jin Hyuk and not to mention his charming smile. I really fell in love with his character here. Even though he was faced with the many obstacles in the relationship he was unperturbed and stood his ground. Will definitely watch out for his other dramas.
