    LOL, that is a very funny selca pic. I just finished watching The Musical and despite having no clue what they were saying, our girl's expression and body language transcend the language barrier. I laughed so much through this first episode, I need more! Why must it be only 1 episode a week? The torture! :crazy:

    I am very excited...but won't be able to watch live stream tonight...it's past night over here :wacko: I'm looking forward to lots of pics and spazz! Hopefully someone will upload it online so I can watch...it doesn't even have to be subbed! :lol: I'm just so glad she's back on screen! Are there anymore news about her new drama? Thanks Sunnies for all the updates! You guys are the best!

    Wow, awesome so much news from our girl. I think we Sunnies has been very patient waiting for our girl to be back on the screen and now it seems we just might get our wish!! We have AD to have forward to, the Musical and now...another drama! Yippeeeee!!! :w00t:

    Seriously show??? Are we going to have a repeat of IY and SS's little immature game? For me, IY deserve SS because she obviously can't seem to live her life without his drama. Like someone said, if IY ends up with SS it just mean that they will live together the rest of their life repeating this same cycle...SS's five year itch...perhaps now that he knows she'll forgive him eventually it'll change to monthly itch.

    I think that IY deserves SS because she allows him to treat her that way. Yeah of course it hurts, of course there's pain especially when you've been with a person for 10 years...but I think IY is using the 10 years just as an excuse because she's afraid of changes and new love. So until IY learns to love herself, value herself and courage for change..she will be stuck in the same cycle with SS until she learns to completely let him go. I hope the scriptwriters actually make sure IY have character growth...because if at the end she stays with SS...it will be a repetition of SS cheating, feeling sorry that he got CAUGHT and not the fact that he cheated and IY crying and feeling betrayed. So, please scriptwriters...allow IY some dignity and make sure she dump SS for good! :)

    So, what’s the deal with The Musical?

    Well, the drama’s future is still unclear as its fate hangs in limbo, but it’s frankly not looking too good. Already the show about musical actors, producers, and songwriters has had some rough beginnings, with its inability to secure a time on a broadcaster’s schedule last year, after being announced as a potential summer or fall offering. Thus it opted to go fully pre-produced, continuing to film in the hopes that it would score a timeslot eventually.

    Now, the drama has hit another rough patch and has had to halt post-production, which puts it in further limbo for another month. A source from the production team explained that the first part of the drama was to take place on Broadway in New York. However, with the project stretching out indefinitely, production costs became an increasing issue, and plans for those overseas shoots were scrapped.

    To accommodate for the change, the early episodes have been rewritten and need to be reshot. It was in the middle of this process that the drama lost its two lead actors, Gu Hye-sun and Daniel Choi, who have both moved on to other commitments since The Musical.

    Daniel Choi has a new drama set to premiere in May, Baby-Faced Beauty, while Gu Hye-sun is also working on another film, Peach Tree. Gu has agreed to return to filming The Musical after wrapping up her movie, but with Choi jumping into a new drama project, I’m not sure if or when he’ll be able to squeeze shoots for another drama. As we know, the unforgiving drama production system hardly leaves actors time for sleep, much less side projects.

    This announcement follows recent news that the series, originally planned for 20 episodes, had decided to cut that number down to 16, which also accounts for the necessity of the rewrites. So, not exactly a promising forecast.

    On the other hand, the producers don’t seem ready to thrown in the towel yet (it probably can’t afford to, after investing so much into the product); a source stated that they’re in “positive talks” with MBC with regard to a possible slot on the upcoming schedule. The Musical began filming in August 2010 and, if aired, will be entirely pre-produced. Let’s hope it sees better luck than Birdie Buddy, which was in a similar situation and has now been laid to rest. Although, really, maybe it’s time to put the long-suffering beast out of its misery.

    Thanks Sue for your dedication in translating articles relating to our girl. I think that we are all really missing her. I had no clue that there was such mess going over at DC....I really hope that it didn't make her feel like she had to conform. I must admit I love her long hair, and I miss her with long hair but to go as far as being negative about her short hair...hmmm...

    We know her as an actress so of course we all miss her and want to see her on screen...this may account for some of the reasons why fans are becoming restless...so GHS, go on screen soon!!!!!!!!It' been tooooo long since Boys over flowers!

    Hye sun and Wu Zun in remake of absolute boyfriend? What language would they be speaking in? :sweatingbullets: Hope for confirmation soon...but our girl really need to take a rest before she jumps in another drama! And on top of that, she's filming her next full length movie! :unsure:

    It's no bother, you are very welcome here :D I just read the "rumor" and since I don't know anything about JHJ's schedule, it seems based on your calculation it is a rumor. But Wow, the description matched our Hye Sun so much :wub:

    Wow looks like we are gonna see some dancing moves from GHS at The Musical judging from the pics posted above!

    Great to know GHS is also filming her 2nd short film.. I just know she's excited to get behind the camera again. I do hope she's getting enough rest in between =)

    Hello to all sunnies, thanks for the updates! Btw, now that Mary Stayed out all night is confirmed for a November timeslot in KBS, it makes me wonder when will The Musical be aired. Oh I hope we get some clarity. Dying to see her on screen!

    I hope so too....I wonder why it's taking so long for The Musical to get a time slot. Can't wait to see our girl on screen already, and those pictures others above makes me excited because it looks like she is dancing! hahaha

    Very sexy character^_^ Wonder how our girl's character Eun bi??? reacts to his hotness! LOL, like you Sunnies, I am really missing our girl. Plus...I feel like she is really pushing herself and hope that she takes time to care for herself and just focus on her character in the Musical.
