Right from the start, Moonlight has set its tone as a fun and light-hearted sageuk drama by making references to several shows. The scene where SamNom gave love advice to the servant was reminiscent of Witch Hunt, a talk show by JTBC, which dishes out dating advice. The hosts would give the green light, literally, whenever they thought the relationship in question would work out.
Jo Yeo Jeong, who appeared as a cameo in ep 1 alongside CTH, was best known for her breakout role in The Servant. In the adult film that retold the classic tale of Chunhyang, her character fell in love with a servant.
Taekkie was belittled in R88 because he was gentle, soft-spoken and needed help with everyday activities. This scene in Moonlight indirectly addressed the shame that eunuchs had to live with after being castrated. Even though they’ve lost their symbol of manhood, they’re just as tough and capable as any other men.
It seems fitting for Moonlight to pay tribute to Descendants of the Sun, in a scene that aired in this week’s preview. Kim Byung Yeon walks across the training ground suavely, unfazed by fast oncoming arrows, just like what Seo Dae Yong did at a shooting ground.
Lastly, how can we forget this classic scene from Temptation of Wolves?

MDBC wasnt as popular as goblin but the main cast couldnt ẹnjoy the vacation since the fans bother them everywhere. So its wise the main cast doing cfs first then do vacation later
