Sorry to cut your post. The article said it was 1 week ago they broke up. But, it's actually not 1 week ago. According to what I have read from IU Gallery and other community sites, they probably broke up around late September. Both agency don't confirm it was 1 week ago. Even there are article who predicted the time when Voldy and JE broke up. It's true that they have been breaking up and getting back for awhile. But, they broke up way before 1 week ago, it was around late September.

When JE said cutting her hair is freedom and she will have a lot of activities this year, I know for sure they already break up ^^

It's the same article which I was translated before. It's exactly the same, article by Starnews. It's not LJG said it by himself, but his agency who said that. I think it's a good move to shut all the rumors about them.

It's only Namoo who give the statement that they are only close friends. It's not JG himself said that, but according to my experience in K-Ent, a lot of reporter from those media outlets called JG's agency to give some explanation. Then, his agency give official statement to them. So, that's why we see so many official statement from Namoo to media outlets. It's because those reporter called Namoo and asked for some explanation.

Okay .. I comeback keke
I just read all those stuff that circulating on international sites and korean sites. Here I will give what I have got from it.
1) There are tons of dating rumor between JG and JE on korean sites, whether it's Naver, Pann, Nate, Facebook, DC Gallery, Blog and other community sites. All of them are not even shippers to begin with, they are just people who watch SAF and become suspicious to JoonU because what Lee Hwi Jae had said at SAF before turn out to be true that JE and Voldy already break up. So, his comment about JG and JE are dating might become true too according to those knetz. Besides that, they find it suspicious how JE and JG attending each other concert at overseas, JG skinship to JE during SAF and their lovey dovey interaction during filming MLSHR. Well, all those things lead to dating rumor between JG and JE. I must note that THEY ARE NOT SHIPPERS, they are just knetz who are suspicious to them because of those things that I have mentioned.
2) About those shippers that left comment about JE and Voldy break up on JG instagram is seriously immature, in my opinion, I hope they would stop doing that. I know they are not shippers from this shipper thread. I know that. We, shippers from this thread, are mature and won't do that immature and embarrassing stuff like that. As I see their comments, they are not even JE or JG fans and they are just people who become fans because of MLSHR. The last thing, they come from various countries.
3) For people who are blaming shippers as the reason of the break up of Voldy and JE relationship is seriously ridiculous. I bet neither JE nor Voldy will care about those shippers comments about their relationship. As the news stated before, JE and Voldy have been breaking up and getting back together for awhile. It's the proof that their relationship is not steady since beginning and it's not because of those shippers. I'm sure it's because of their personal reason.
4) Some people said they break up 1 week ago because the news reported like that. Well, neither JE nor Voldy agency confirmed about the timing when they broke up. There are even some articles writting about the prediciton of their break up time. As I know, they haven't met since last July since there are no fanaccounts about them since then. I'm sure during those time their relationship is not steady and they don't meet each other. During those times, JE and JG got closer because of MLSHR gatherings and how JG comforts JE about those negative comments about her acting moved and touched her heart. I'm sure they are getting closer during those time while JE and Voldy become drift apart.
5) The last thing, I will keep chanting BBJX miracle i.e. JoonU's happiness together!*

The top comments about JE and Voldy break up news are all positive. Not need to worry about it. Since what Lee Hwi Jae said at SAF was true, so of course knetz assume that JG and JE are dating. It's normal things. It's not bad actually since they said they look good together. For some uaena, it might be uncomfortable since as the news stated, it's just 1 week after the break up, which is not true. According to some info I got, they probably broke up around late September.
After all, it's all positive. No need to worry about it. A lot of people said JG and JE look good together and JG is better than Voldy haha

What Allkpop wrote is based on the reporter article. Yeah .. the reporter just corrected it into 3 years. They said that they they broke up permanently since 1 week ago. Of course, we know that they haven't met since last July last year. I think they tried to making up, but failed. So, they decided to break up permanently 1 week ago. But seriously tho .. It's not 1 week ago!! In my opinion, it's around late september or early october.

To be honest, I never like Voldy since he keeps mentioning IU's name when he was promoting his album. I was neutral before. At that time, IU was trying to hide from public attention by filming MLSHR. It was after her huge controversy which is basically because of witch-hunt and reporters who twist her words. But, he keeps mentioning her name everywhere he goes. People said it was because MC who keeps asking him. But you know .. there's script and you can make prior-agremeent with PD and staff, if you don't want to mention it. Moreover, after he said he had difficult time dealing with IU's fans at Chungang Festival. Seriously .. he lost all my respect for him .. Sorry ...

He doesn't mention IU. He seems gaining some weight. When their relationship was revealed to public, I saw a lot of knetz said Voldy was managing his look by losing some weight to make him look younger. So, he can balance with JE. But, nowadays I saw him looking more like Ahjussi (Sorry ... Recently I watched his VLIVE, but he indeed looks like that) and he gained some weight too. While our JE looking skinnier and glowing just like JG. And, don't you think that JG looks younger nowadays?

To tell you guys the truth, this is actually the first time I ship JE with someone. When JoU (Jo Jung Suk and IU) and HyunU (Lee Hyun Woo and IU) couple were so popular back then in IU's fandom, I didn't ship them.
This is the first time I'm so into shipping stuff like I will try to find crumbs everyday and translated all JoonU stuff although it takes my rest time tbh. But, it's okay .. I can do everything for JoonU keke
When JG is around JE, I can see that both of them look so happy and glowing. It feels like both of them are the happiest person ever at that time. So, this is why I jump into this ship and I hope BBJX curse/miracle come true and we can see them at wedding altar

I have been JE fans for 6 years. I have to tell you that JE is not the type that will do skinship so naturally with guys even she's really close to them. She's been avoided it for years since she knows she will get bashed if she did that even when she's single. JE is the awkward type around guy. She even said before that she speaks with Taecyeon for the first time ever after 6 months they filmed Dream High!!
It doesn't make sense for JE doing all those skinship, lovely eye contact, her giddiness when she's around JG if she is in relationship right now. It also doesn't make sense for JG doing all those skinship so naturally and his heart eyes for JE if she is still in relationship. When Lee Hwi Jae said they are suspicious, like "You two, are not (dating), right?" both of them just smile and didn't deny everything. If she's indeed still dating with Voldy and JoonU don't have something, JG should said something like this "Ahh ... She already has someone else". I watched KBS Drama Awards when JG and NSM won Best Couple Awards, JG mentioned something about her boyfriend although in a subtle way.
Remember when the MC at JG Taiwan FM Press Conference said "When I watched SAF BTS, it feels like there's love in the air" and JG just nodded and said thank you without giving some explanation. Actually that statement is kinda scandalous for someone who is in public relationship. As I know, JG has been so careful all this years and try to avoid any scandals. If they are just friends and don't have something, he should said "Ahh .. No, we are just friends. She already has someone else"
So, all this time, JoonU never deny that there's something suspicious and loves in the air between them
And the last thing, JE doesn't meet with Voldy anymore since last July and it's already 6 months until now! For the break up news, it's indeed will take longer time as today all korea portal sites like Naver, Daum, etc are full with their political scandals. All the trending topic are about Choi Soon Shil, Lee Jae Young (Vice President of Samsung) and Ban Ki Moon controversy. This is why it's been so quiet lately in K-Entertainment industry. All reporters can't mess up with their political issues.

After I think about this again ... Actually all this dating rumors are coming from JG and JE themself. How can people not suspicious to them if they keep doing skinship during SAF, attending each other concert at overseas and all those heart eyes?? Even normal people, not shippers, will find them suspicious. I think both JG and JE already expected this dating rumors will happen someday. JG should know that JE already single since the day they attended SAF. So, that is why they did all those skinship so naturally. It means if JG know JE already single (although she's still in public relationship), but he keeps doing all those skinship, it means they should have prepare themself for any dating rumors in the future.
In my honest opinion, I still think they are more than close friends, but less than lovers. But, I'm glad Namoo give those clarification to protect both JG and JE. It's better like that to shut up all those unnecessary rumors
