Your Honor” has released its second teaser!

After the intense first teaser for “Your Honor,” the upcoming drama featuring Yoon Shi Yoon, Lee Yoo Young, Park Byung Eun, and Hello Venus’s Nara released its second teaser. This time, the clip features the different characters of the drama, as well as Yoon Shi Yoon finally displaying his impressive performance of acting as two characters.

“Your Honor” is about an unconventional judge and his story of growth. Yoon Shi Yoon plays both Han Kang Ho and Han Su Ho, twins brothers with different lives. The former is five-time-convicted criminal-turned-judge, and the latter is an intelligent judge who has disappeared.

In the teaser, various clips flash by quickly, and each of the character’s different personalities can be seen.

The video starts off with Yoon Shi Yoon running from the police. The image of him getting his mug shot taken drastically changes as the next scene switches to one of him wearing judge’s robes and sitting at the highest seat in the courtroom. In a goose-bump inducing way, this convict-turned-judge says, “We will begin the sentencing.”

Other characters in the drama also make their first appearance, such as Song So Eun (Lee Yoo Young), a student in the Judicial Research and Training Institute, Oh Sang Chul (Park Byung Eun), the man who makes a meaningful offer to Yoon Shi Yoon, and Joo Eun (Nara), an anchorwoman who is also Soo Ho’s girlfriend.

Watch: Yoon Shi Yoon Switches Back And Forth Between Respected Judge And Neighborhood Delinquent In “Your Honor”

    Yoon-Shi-Yoon-61.jpg

In a new behind-the-scenes video from its first shoot, the upcoming drama “Your Honor” has given viewers a glimpse of Yoon Shi Yoon in character for both of his roles!

The video begins with Yoon Shi Yoon showing off an eccentric, abrasive personality in the courtroom, leading his co-star Lee Yoo Young’s character to wonder, “Why is the judge acting like that?” The next scene features the actor sauntering out of the same jail multiple times as Han Kang Ho, the delinquent twin brother of the respected judge Han Soo Ho.

Yoon Shi Yoon comments, “I didn’t know that I would end up having to play both Kang Ho and Soo Ho from the very first scene of the first shoot today.” When asked what he had done to prepare for the dual role, he answered, “Rather than thinking about how I’m playing two completely different characters, I’m focusing more on their thoughts and their goals. Though the difference [between the two approaches] is a small one, I’m concentrating on trying to move in a different direction.”

The actor then films a scene in which he and Lee Yoo Young share a meal together. His character tactfully looks away when she accidentally swallows a mouthful of boiling hot soup and struggles to figure out what to do next. In between takes, the two co-stars show a different chemistry as they chat and laugh together.

“Your Honor” airs its first episode on July 25 at 10 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.

Watch: Yoon Shi Yoon Bleeds And Cries In Intense “Your Honor” Teaser

SBS’s new drama “Your Honor” has released its first teaser.

“Your Honor” is about an unconventional judge and his story of growth. Yoon Shi Yoon plays both Han Kang Ho and Han Su Ho, the former being a five-time-convicted criminal-turned-judge, and the latter being a judge who has disappeared.

The clip shows Yoon Shi Yoon dressed in black robes, standing on a pile of books with a balance on his left hand and a sword on his right. This is an image that mirrors one of Lady Justice, the figurehead of the moral force in the judicial system. The teaser emphasizes the intensity of the drama by having fire burning at Yoon Shi Yoon’s feet and blood dripping down the sword.

The video flashes to pages in a book with the words, “Judge’s oath. According to the Constitution and law, fairly pass a judgement according to your conscience.” Another page reads, “Is it the law, or you, that is passing judgement on me?”

“Your Honor” will air July 25 at 10 p.m. KST. The drama will also be available on Viki!

  3. “Your Honor” Writer Opens Up About Experience Working With Main Cast So Far

SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Your Honor” is set to premiere later this month on July 25, and screenwriter Chun Sung Il has opened about his experience working with the main cast of the new drama

Chun Sung Il is set to bring his signature unpredictable storylines and vibrant characters. He will be paired with unique and energetic actors like Yoon Shi Yoon, Lee Yoo Young, Park Byung Eun, and Hello Venus’s Nara.

Yoon Shi Yoon is set to play two different brothers, Han Kang Ho and Han Su Ho. Chun Sung Il had nothing but praise for the actor as he said, “He’s a very kind person, so I worried whether he’d be able to play a character like Han Kang Ho, who is a five-time convicted criminal. However, he proved my worries to be for nothing. I’ve shared many conversations with Yoon Shi Yoon about the drama and his characters, and I’ve felt that he’s putting more passion and effort into his role than I could have expected. I feel like he will be able to take even a character like Han Kang Ho and make him someone approachable to the viewers.”

Alongside Yoon Shi Yoon will be Lee Yoo Young, who plays the determined and hardworking legal student Song So Eun. This will be the actress’s first leading role in a miniseries aired by a major broadcasting company, and she is said to have taken to her character like a fish in water. Chun Sung Il said ,”Not only is she a great actress, but Lee Yoo Young is a thoughtful and serious person. I think she’s someone who is very deep and layered, and she will really bring the character of Song So Eun to life as she will be able to portray the pains her character holds.”

The screenwriter also had high praise for Park Byung Eun and Nara, who will play the ambitious conglomerate Oh Sang Chul and anchorwoman Joo Eun respectively. He stated, “Park Byung Eun really is an actor you can trust to do well. I feel like he doesn’t really need an explanation. I’m also curious and excited to see where he will take his character as he butts heads with Yoon Shi Yoon. For Nara, she hasn’t had a lot of time to prepare, but she really is working hard. I believe that hard work will combine well with her natural charms to create good results.”

“Your Honor” will tell the story of an unconventional judge and his journey of growth as he tackles the definition of justice with his unexpected rulings. As the follow-up to “The Undateables,” the drama will premiere on July 25 at 10 p.m. KST. The drama will also be available on Viki!

“Your Honor” will follow an unconventional judge and his story of growth as he gives out unexpected but refreshing rulings. In the drama, Yoon Shi Yoon will play the role of five-time convicted criminal-turned-judge Han Kang Ho and his brother Han Su Ho, a judge who has disappeared.

When asked to describe his characters, the actor replied, “Han Kang Ho is a free-spirited soul who is also a five-time convicted criminal who finds himself given the chance to become a judge. Meanwhile, Han Su Ho is someone who is very attached to personal belongings like his pen or pencil case. He never lets his possessions out of his sight, even scratching his head of his armpit with his pen.” Yoon Shi Yoon shared that he’s been working to distinguish between his two characters with small details like this, and he shared that personally, he may be closer to Han Su Ho in terms of personality, but living like Han Kang Ho might be happier.

Yoon Shi Yoon is said to be giving his all for the drama, participating in physically difficult activities like wire stunts and falling into bodies of water for certain scenes. However, he seemed happy despite the hard work and said, “I always feel a sense of satisfaction after filming ends. I believe the viewers will be able to see how much work went into each scene.”

The actor also talked about his chemistry with co-star Lee Yoo Young, who will play legal student Song So Eun. He didn’t hold back on his praise for her and shared that they’re working very well with each other. Finally, he shared that the thing to watch for in the upcoming drama was the conversation about justice and what is the right thing to do. Yoon Shi Yoon stated, “Han Kang Ho will bring a refreshing take on the definition of justice, so please watch over our drama as the story unfolds.”

Update: KBS Holds Onto Dwindling Possibility Of Entertainment Awards With Conflicting Statements

    KBS-Entertainment-Awards.jpeg

    Updated December 8 KST:

Despite one source from KBS announcing that the Entertainment Awards were canceled, new conflicting statements suggest otherwise.

Another source from KBS stated to several other news outlets, “We are continuing to discuss the feasibility of holding the ceremony. Nothing has been decided [regarding its cancellation].”

In yet another differing, but not definite, statement, one KBS source said, “Realistically, it would be difficult to hold [the ceremony]. After this weekend, there will only be about two weeks left until entertainment award ceremonies will have to take place, but it will be hard to prepare the event in that amount of time. As of now, the trophies haven’t even been made.”

    Source (1) (2)

    Original Article:

Only two of KBS’s three annual year-end ceremonies will happen this year.

On December 8, a source from KBS confirmed, “We will not be holding the 2017 KBS Entertainment Awards.” This will be the first time since the ceremony’s conception in 2002 that it will not take place.

The cancellation of the Entertainment Awards is due to the ongoing strike that is calling for the resignation of current KBS president Ko Dae Young. On November 21, 11 director-level staff members joined the union, and at least 80 percent of staff members from KBS variety shows are part of the union as well, making it near impossible to even consider holding the Entertainment Awards as most variety programs have been on hiatus since September.

KBS has confirmed that both the Drama Awards and Song Festival will still take place, but on a smaller scale compared to those from years past. Nonunion producing directors and higher executives will be carrying out these two ceremonies, and preparations are currently underway.

The 2017 KBS Drama Awards and 2017 KBS Song Festival will take place on December 29 and December 31 respectively.

KBS To Resume Airing “2 Days & 1 Night” And “The Return Of Superman”

    Shares 11K

KBS’s “2 Days & 1 Night” and “The Return of Superman” are coming back to broadcast!

A source from the two shows stated that they will both resume airing on October 1. “The Return of Superman” will be airing its 200th episode this week.

“2 Days & 1 Night” and “The Return of Superman,” both part of KBS’s “Super Sunday” segment, were canceled since September 17. The KBS company-wide strike began on September 4 to fight for the resignation of the president Ko Dae Young and to stop “nine years of fabrication, forgery, oppression and yielding.” The broadcast for that week was aired regularly with previously completed recording and editing done by higher level executives, but because the following sessions of filming were canceled after that, the shows were postponed as well.

For this week’s broadcasts, KBS will be airing some footage recorded before the strike, and the editing will be done by higher level executives.

Meanwhile, you can watch the most recent episode of “2 Days & 1 Night” at the link below!
