  1. I know it had been posted here like, many times. But i still like to listen to "The Song that made the King fell in love to a Court Lady."

    So many feels.

    Spoiler

The only thing i object of MLSHR is that Soo did not die in WangSo's arms. I don't have any objection about the ending, that they don't meet in the future or anything else. I am one of few that like the ending, and think that the ending is awesome. But the writer is really cruel and made the love story even more brutal by not letting HaeSoo saw WangSo for the last time, vice versa.

I still couldn't bring myself to watch Ep 20 SBS version. I want to get over it, but on the other hand, i don't wanna end it. I don't want any closure, in fact. I wanna keep MLSHR alive.

I know it's not good for the health, but i am still enjoying the torture somehow.:w00t:

Lol ! I sometimes think that KHN, LJK and IU relationship in real life is same as in the drama. KHN is gentle ans shy around her and she is sweet to him. LJK is push-over , playful and does whatever the hell he wants around IU from teasing her to expressing his happiness after kissing scenes. He hides nothing and expressing freely that he is liking what he is doing. Lol IU is in the middle of all of this helpless and can do nothing about it.

I am rewatching ML on weekends. And I find that the burning chemistry between WS and HS really was amazing and the director could have really done better with the physical interaction between the two actors. I hope that all the actors and specially actresses could be more immersed in their characters and do better job in kissing scenes.  I am now finding the waist grab scenes and the forced kiss hotter than their kisses, when they were mutually in love.  why on earth does IU close her mouth and be very stiff, every time he kisses her?  Even when she grabs him back I feel it was rushed and not sexy or something. Did the director see that and gave the OK to the scenes? Was that the best both of them could do?  I know that filming kiss scenes could be very awkward for the actors and it demands a lot of boldness to do them properly. But I have seen a decent amount of dramas and saw enough actors, who really do excellent job at them. Lol I hope I don't sound like a weird perverted agashi.  I am saying this just because I find that they had really good chemistry and it is a pity that the director didn't make the best out of it.  :sweatingbullets:  They still did good, though.  I have seen worse :vicx:

I try to move on, God know I try. But they keep pulling me back to this crazy MLSHR world (with the hand, the vein, the king cow, etc).

I even try to watch IU's MV because I never knew her music before. But when I watch the video I get confused. My brain keep asking me why Hae Soo is singing? Wow, Hae Soo is singing and dancing. She looks different than her usual (in my brain, Hae Soo's personality is the usual).

I am so sorry IU. The power of MLSHR is too strong, too strong :tears:.

i have a quite similar problem. I didn't know LJG before MLSHR. I fell for WangSo first, then LJG. I tried to stalk LJG instagram, and everything about him after MLSHR. But nothing satisfied me. I felt that LJG is not WangSo. WangSo is somewhere else, living his lonely life without HaeSoo. I didn't know IU as well. When I see her on my tweeter feed, i just feel she's not HaeSoo. She's somebody else. And i felt pity for Go Ha Jin, she's now living the memory of the man she loves. I bet she's very confuse. I tried to watch BBJX Season 2 Ep 1 and 2. I think GHJ is living just like Ruo Xi is in modern world. Now, WangSo and HaeSoo-GoHaJin are separated both by time and space. It should do them justice, if when GwangJong died in the year of 975 when there was an eclipse, he would be transported to the 21st century to meet his HaeSoo-GoHajin. I am just wondering how would GwangJOng defy the heaven and earth to find his HaeSoo.

On other thing. I still can't bring myself to watch Ep.20 SBS version. It is the only episode that i watch only once. I need a time for myself and alone if i want to watch it again so i can cry as much as i want.

The good thing about MLSHR open ending is that we are still talking about it even days after the last episode. We're still hoping there will be MORE and MORE. Just like WangSo and HaeSoo never stop hoping that there might be the slightest chance for their love to bloom. Although that chance likely never came. My heart hurts once more.

CONGRATS EVERYONE WOOK BECAME THE HERO...DAMN !! IT TOOK 19 EPI'S TO REALIZE THAT!!

AND YEON HWA GOT WHAT SHE WANTED(I M PUKING FOR THE 100th TIME WHILE WRITING THIS)!!

Basically GHJ travelled to goryeo to spread the glory of Wook and YH..with WS remaining as a villain till ep 20..

    EXACTLY!!!

I felt like i forgave everything Wook had done when i saw him and HS. This is not good. Now he has become the one who saves HS from 'evil' WS. His sweet smile and reconciliation with HS looks genuine. I don't like it at all.

For me, this drama actually ended at Ep 17. WangSo gained the throne and became King, HaeSoo went to live in the palace. And They live happily ever after. HS's mission is accomplished.

At some points during Ep 19, i just want them so say "I love you" to each other. Or at least the break up is not this bad. This is too much. They pushed everyone to be 'against' WangSo, in many ways. And push WangSo to be on the other side, all alone.

MOnday night has been the most difficult night to sleep for the last 2 months. I would get troubled sleep or nightmare. And i ended up tired and fatigued and troubled on Tuesday Morning. Not to mention panda and swollen eyes for the last 3 Tuesdays. Really-really bad for our health. I have to take my son to school early in the morning. I gotta go to bed.

My heart goes with WAngSo through and through.

EXACTLY! i surprisingly dont feel any sympathy towards anyone else BUT WS.

EVeryoe left. He's all alone, with a woman he doesn't love. I can't imagine how would his life be after this? The throne is a lonely seat, indeed. I can feel his loneliness. Back to square one. Alone, in despair, no love, no family, no friends. My tears are for WangSo.

My heart literally stopped in that scene! The relief I felt when I saw them go to the next scene with nothing happening is something I can not put into words.

I covered my eyes with pillow during that scene, but still i peek through, just in case it'd happen. I was relieved too, when i knew it was only short scene.

    Hahahaaha, yes that is true.

And Wang So doesn't need the clans support to take the palace from Yo. He has his fans from all around the world (including me)

    We will destroy Goryeo LOL.

Hey, if Aragorn from Lord of the Rings has ghost of the mountain to win the war,  Wang So will have his fans.

Angry fans is really scary, you know?

LOL, I can't stop laughing :joy:

Indeed, angry fans are really scary. Count me in.

It's early in the morning here, but looking all those still cuts makes my heart hurts so much. Reading you comment made me laugh.

My poor heart. I thought i was ready for anything that will happen in Ep 19 and 20. But looking at those stills, I asked myself "really?" I'm gonna use this Sunday to prepare myself.

  9. @htk9207 @sooji28   I am doing mine

Your most favorite So-Soo scene:  Carnival scene

    - Your most heart breaking So-Soo scene: (SBS version if I'm not mistaken) So proposed Soo at the praying tower, and Soo rejected (again)

    - The most favorite So moment: When So stole a kiss from Hae Soo.

    - The most favorite Soo moment: When she kissed WangSo first

    - Which scene that makes your heart flutter? When WS hugged HS, telling her, "I miss you".

    - Which scene that makes you cry a river: Lady Oh's execution scene.

    - Which scene that makes you want to smack something near you? When Yon Hwa mended Wang So's wound after the Exorcise (Ep 3)

    - Which scene that makes you hooked forever for MLSHR? Wang So and Hae Soo first stargazing (WS told HS that he would move to the Palace and no longer stayed at Wook's house)

    - Which So scene that makes you want to watch over and over again?

     1. Wang So visit Hae Soo in the prison

     2. Hae Soo took off Wang So's mask

     3. The meet cute: their first meet. Wang So on the horse saved HS and pulled her.

    4. Every time WangSo laughs (The "pessus" and boat scene)

    5. When WangSo said "She's mine" (Soo was beaten by Yon Hwa)

    I add my a category:

Which scene that makes you want to puke? Gwangjong was drunk and he almost kissed the Queen (eww)

That's not the indictment of the times; that's either lazy writing, or as you said in your previous post (which I am trying my very best to take comfort in), the writer is trying to make a statement of how women are written in our history... never the focus, never an explanation, just barely a footnote.

    @eclipselovers,
Now the term of HISTORY  which is mainly HIS STORY tends to shift to be HER-STORY too. It has been debated for years how history is story mainly about men and their glory, their battle, and women just barely footnote (to quote @zi4r) . There's new tern in women study, especially ethnography to write the "story" from the POV of women.
