I agree that MLSHR is a dark horse.
The cast won a lot of awards: Baekhyun, Seohyun, Kang Ha Neul and of course, our OTP JoonU won the couple award, 2 individual awards for Joongi-ssi and 1 individual award for Jieun-ssi.
I agree that they should have given the Hallyu award to LMH and gave the acting award to Joongi for his excellent portrayal of Wang So. But it is what it is. I just hope other award giving bodies will recognize Joongii's hard work for MLSHR and his Wang so's portrayal.
Let's focus on the positive for now - all the crumbs. The hugs, the near holding hands, the MC being a JoonU shipper, their proud smiles while the other one is receiving an award, and no denial about their group drinking sessions. Instead we get Joongi complimenting Jieun's beauty in front of all the people watching the awards show. And this is not fan service or promotion, they're done with the drama. He complimented her all on his own.
They're the most gorgeous and brightest star couple on the red carpet. To be that good looking and beautiful should be made illegal. I still can't get over how good they look together! Whoo! Smokin' hot!
Happy New Year everyone. Let's continue sailing in this ship. Here's hoping for a year full of spazz-worthy moments for us and more awards and chances to see our couple in public. I hope that they will have time to spend with each other despite their busy schedules. Here's to a great 2017 for all of us, cheers!

Yes, it's possible chingu.
This is just a calculation based on timezones and flight times. I'm not saying that this is what happened with JoonU during those 3 dates in July (July 7-9)
The time zones are so far apart - 18 hours. China is ahead by 18 hours from Hawaii. If it's 6am on July 8 in China (I looked up Shanghai as basepoint), it is only 12pm in Honolulu, Hawaii on July 7.
So even considering a flight time from China to Hawaii (about 14 to 15 hours) someone can spend the entire July 8 in China then leave on July 9. Say leave at 12pm, July 9 (which is only 6pm July 8 in Hawaii time) and still arrive on July 9 at 9am, Hawaii time (after 15 hours of flight).
Let's keep chanting for the BBJX miracle to come true. Remember the rain ritual, we have to do it until it comes true.
I prefer to chant for a BBJX miracle and not a curse. Curse usually have a negative connotation like you're wishing something bad will happen to the persons you're putting the curse in.
@caramelovers07 Chingu, you're awesome. Similar wavelength. So you did refer to Kang Ha Neul as the president of JE fans club. Glad to know I understood what you mean, hahahaha.

Thanks @caramelovers07, I was chuckling when I read "JE's Fansclub President, KHN". Perfect description for KHN. With all the negativity heaped on Jieun in the past and even now with jealous fanwives , it's great to see such an unabashed and unapologetic fan boy and supporter of hers in KHN.
Even if Joongi didn't come to this concert that doesn't mean our ship is not sailing. There are other concerts and appearances. There's plenty of opportunities to meet if they really want to.
After all, just like Wang So and mean Queen Yoo said "You do the rain ritual, until it rains". Thus the BBJX chanting ritual will continue until it comes true and we have an OTP for real with our JoonU.

This! You got it right @qwenli , our wolf-man Joongi puckered up so it's not a peck but a mutual kiss. And all those romantic feelings came across the screen and touched us the viewers and fans. Thanks @caramelovers07 for posting the vid of Jieun's kiss with a previous screen partner.
He was doing his happy dance in that BTS gif with a smug smile on his face while Jieun looks like she's catching her breath. Sheesh! Too obvious Joongi-ssi. We know you like it so much, hahahaha. Tashi! Tashi!
Thanks for correcting my misunderstanding @lisethvr. I guess this is NOT the first time he sang one of his OSTs with a video of the scenes with his partner. Even if this is not the first time he has done so, I still think that it's a telltale sign to his fans. Get used to it, she's special to me.
I know, I know... I fell in delulu land and I can't get up, nor do I want to, hahahaha.
The ever careful Joongi who consciously avoids any dating scandal is no more. It's like he breathed in the spirit of So - brave, fierce and determined to show the world that he has only 1 queen. And we know who that is <3.
Joongi-ssi, please come to Jieun's concert and seal the deal. No need to confirm or confess. Your presence and actions are enough proof that this ship is sailing.
I prefer you two to date and get to know more of each other in peace and with privacy. Kinda like my first K-Ent OTP (SongSongCouple). If they can do it and keep it private, so can you and Jieun.

I'm with you on the sexual tension between Joongi and Jieun :-B. The air crackles with it.
Got some ideas how Joongi broke down Jieun's "walls". She said during one of the interviews that he actually stays behind after his scenes are done and helps her with her scenes. He also keeps the atmosphere light while they were shooting. These 2 qualities and behavior of Joongi is what she's looking for in her ideal man. Someone who's serious but with a sense of humor just like her dad (who possess the qualities of her ideal guy). No wonder she got comfortable with him. Even after the series is done, he remains consistent in his praise and support for her. He's familiar and yet different in so many ways that she can not dismiss him as just another pretty boy leading man. How could she? She's not immune to his overwhelming charisma, manliness, good looks and to top it all, he's one hell of a great kisser. Her swollen lips after all those rehearsals, NGs and final take tells her that this man is not a father figure nor just another supportive sunbae nor just another guy seeking her friendship.

I've seen other videos where IU was singing English love songs - Loving you (solo) and Lucky (duet with Yong Hwa from CN Blue). She's quite good.

I'm sharing this poem with all of you chingus if no one has posted it yet before. I am fairly new in shipping K-Ent pairs. JoonU is only my 2nd ship. This poem reminds me of both of them but specially our dear Joongi-ssi.
It's their eyes, the way HE gazes at her specially. And the way that they are so comfortable (no flinching) and so used to being so close physically, no personal space necessary is so telling. The group get togethers and their social media interaction are a way to maintain their connection. And who knows, they can send private messages, texts, emails, phone and video calls too, right?
I am eagerly waiting with all of you on what happens next (concert, fan meets, Taiwan promo). Let's keep our fingers crossed.

While backreading on the progression of the relationship for our JoonU OTP, I thought of looking up a quote that fits them to a T:

As for a rom-com plot, I like a musical mentor-protege plot at first. LJG is the mentor and LJE is the musical protege who sings and play instruments. They have a special bond but she's so young and talented that he decided to let her fly and spread her wings. She ends up being very successful and travelled the world as a music wunder kid.
Years later, she went back to SK wiser and mature but it's lonely at the top so she decided it's time to do something else. She decided to open her own music studio and that's when they meet again. This time, Joongi is a widower with a kid who seems to be another music protege. But Joongi is not the same kind and supportive mentor ever since his wife passed away. IU will be the mentor of Joongi's kid and help Joongi heal. They'll be making beautiful music together and their lovestory will continue.
As for the shippers' thread, that can be added as an online forum where IU seeks advice as an anonymous user. It can be similar to the forum in "This Week My Wife is Having An Affair" where other people give advice to the main protagonist and can't wait for his updates. There's plenty of comic and funny comments and suggestions that may work or sometimes not work for the reunited musical pair.
