Wookie’s work attitude combined with his considerate and humorous nature is indeed an amazing combination. It would be hard for any woman to resist a man like Wookie. I hope InNa won’t be able to resist him at all.

Wookie and InNa’s explosive on-screen chemistry is rare in my opinion.
My shipper radar was acting crazy ever since I saw their BTS in Goblin but no shipper thread was created back then.
It is also uncommon in BTS to behave that close to each other like InNa and Wookie from the ones I’ve been lowkey shipping. The closest relationship to theirs during the drama BTS is SWAG/NamLee which is a successful ship (except they broke up after a few months of announcing their relationship). This is in terms of joking around, teasing and being comfortable with crossing personal boundaries/spaces.
NamLee were also close friends before their drama since they modeled together, belong to the same company (YG, same as InNa) and were also supporting cast in Cheese in The Trap. But they are a young couple too which I think are more comfortable holding & touching each other in a friendly/buddy atmosphere. SSCP was so careful during the DOTS BTS but there’s very few instances where their guard slipped. It is really after the drama that things started to happen for SSCP.
I’m fairly new to shipping KDrama couples starting with SSCP in 2016 but I have several ones that I was shipping/monitoring (2 success ships - SSCP & SWAG, 3 ships in the hoping stage and uri PichiCouple). It can take years before anything significant can be revealed between the actors. KDrama actors are so careful and secretive when it comes to their relationships from what I’ve observed.

The similarities I was pointing out about SHK & YIN is that they're both beautiful and admired by a lot of men. And also they both had relationships with their co-actors that failed before. So they are more careful of being linked to another co-star.
I agree, there are clear evidence that there's something going on between SSCP. I am hoping that once TYH drama ends, if what we saw in their BTS & press interviews are correct, that we will be well fed with crumbs from our Pichie/Ointment/Heart Couple as well.

@Alice MendozaSSCP distanced themselves during the end of drama party. I can't even remember a single photo during that party where they were together. There was just one video where JoongKi was making a toast and HyeKyo was kinda beside/behind him.
The crumbs kept coming after the drama DOTS is over (arrival TOGETHER at the Baeksang Awards red carpet, guests in each other's fan meeting with some sweet moments, late night sightings with group of friends, out of country trips where fans saw them). SSCP shippers were well fed after the drama is over

YES, their companies denied all of the sightings. Even in her interview, SHK said that she is just a noona to SJK and Yoo Ah In who likes to treat them to good food. I think her statement actually inspired the drama "Noona who buys me food".
One thing I have to add though is Dispatch seemed to have left them alone. They respected their privacy. They only released photos of these 2 when SSCP announced in July 2017 that they've been engaged since Jan/Feb and that they are getting married in October of that year.
The relationship dynamics of InNa and Wookie seems different than that of SSCP so hopefully they will be sitting together at the Wrap up Party.
I'd like to add that in the case of my other ship that actually sailed but broken up already, SWAG/NamLee Couple, they were also close friends like buddies level even before their drama so they were near each other during the wrap up party for Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. Nam Joo Hyuk even comforted Lee Sung Kyung when she was crying during the party.
Gosh, I don't know. I hope Wookie and InNa won't be weirded out by all of us shipping them to be a couple in real life. I hope they will sit together during the wrap up party of Touch Your Heart and give us some moments we can squeal about

@intrariver that’s too funny. Cheeky Wookie. I’m sure he remembers JinShim’s bad acting video that’s why he’s suggesting if that’s what he should do in that crying scene. If it wasn’t such a serious part of the drama, it would be nice to have some parody. Just like the cool walk from the supermarket with a bag of onion leeks that Grim Reaper and Goblin did. Complete with background music too

Yes, I have watched the interview after the DOTS press-con. That’s what I’m saying. For beautiful women like InNa and HyeKyo who have a wide range of choices in men who will line up just to talk to them, they can afford to be picky and state their terms for a relationship. I think InNa’s “congratulate me on my wedding in 3 years” falls under those relationship terms. These beautiful and talented women don’t have time for just flirting and dating. They want the real thing so better put a ring on it soon.
Another similarity about InNa and HyeKyo is that both of them have been criticized for having relationships with previous co-actors. They’ve kept their guards up to make sure they will not be judged harshly again. This being the case, it takes a special kind of man to penetrate that guard and break it down so they will be comfortable enough to even entertain any thought of having relationship with another co-actor. As many of you have observed, InNa’s invisible wall is not there anymore with Wookie in TYH. I know he’s trying since Goblin days. It looks like he’s had success now.

I agree with all your points in your post. I have another view on Wookie’s crying. Aside from being immersed in his character, he is so comfortable with InNa and has a lot of trust in her that he knows he can let go without being judged. He knows she is warm hearted and he will be comforted by her that’s why he’s so free in expressing his untapped feelings of sorrow about the breakup scene. He even said he doesn’t even know why he’s crying.
I hope all we witnessed in Goblin and TYH is not just us being biased. I’m looking forward as to what these two will be doing after the drama is over. C’mon end of drama party, fan meet special guesting, end of year red carpet , Best Couple awards and the announcements for engagement and then wedding. These are wishes for now but I hope it will come true. The sooner, the better.

Speaking of catalystic push, Wookie can learn from what SongJoongKi did to convince SongHyeKyo to be in a relationship. SJK stated his intentions early on that he doesn’t want to date, he wants to get married. That’s the kind of declaration that you give to a beautiful woman in her mid-30s who is sought after and is the ideal type of a lot of the male population. Most women who are beautiful and who are that age won’t be interested in dating by itself. Who would want to spend time with a guy who’s not serious enough to be thinking about marriage at that point?
My shipper radar perked up too as to the timing of InNa’s comment that she wants to be congratulated on her marriage in 3 years. Didn’t she say this for an interview at the start of the drama, Touch Your Heart?
I think that’s her sending a message to Wookie and all the other males brave enough to try and approach her that she’s not interested in dating but in getting married within 3 years. No matter how good/great their off screen close friendship is, it won’t progress much unless the guy’s intention is less than marriage. After all, she knows he’s not getting any younger either. If indeed that comment was meant for Wookie.
I hope Wookie is taking the hint if he hasn’t done so.

I hope it’s both. That writer-nim is giving us hints AND also a fellow shipper. Just the play on their names Jin Shim and Jung Rok to entice viewers to come up with JinJung Couple name (meaning real or sincere) is too much of a coincidence. That’s a shipper giveaway right there. Too bad InNa and Wookie said to come up with something else. ShimRok Couple sounds like shamrock, which is considered lucky so that’s a good name too. For some reason the Ointment Couple doesn’t do justice for these two. I

I just want to share the deep kiss in our forum

Saw a tweet about people complaining to TVN and director in Naver that there’s no closeup of the kiss.
It reminds me of SongSongCouple’s kiss from Mars aerial view in Descendants of the Sun. The one on top of the bell tower. It’s a little bit suspicious that there is no closeup of this important kiss scene in Touch Your Heart too. I wonder why???

Wookie cried and InNa was consoling him. They both cried. Wookie was really affected by the breakup scene. These 2 softies. It’s a sad scene but I can feel their closeness specially with InNa cheering up Wookie.

Aaawwww, Jin-Jung Couple would have been a cute name (Jinjeong means real or sincere). InNa turned down that couple name right away. I wonder why? Too close for comfort maybe?
Wookie though. He even asked “No?” to InNa as if asking “Why not?”. When InNa explained it’s too simple then that’s when he agreed it’s not a good couple name.
But to me, Jinjung Couple is perfect since a lot of people wants them to be a real couple anyway
.
Now that I think about it, the author of the TYH novel probably played with the characters’ names and had an idea about possible couple names for the characters in the novel.
This drama is really meant for Wookie and InNa. Even the characters’ names (JinJung) when combined means real/sincere. This is a sign that they need to be a real couple

I agree with your analysis. Wookie’s flirting and teasing which was evident even during Goblin days has been replaced with something more sweet and serious. He is now taking care of YIN and the teasing has been replaced by agreeing with what InNa says.
When you’re in the early stages of courtship/relationship, flirting and teasing is more evident because you want the other person to notice you. Once you are together, there’s more caring, concern and agreement with each other. And yes, there is also more restraint when you’re out in public because you want to keep more of the sweet and flirty stuff to just between the 2 of you.
Here’s 1 time when Wookie showed restraint. He put his arm on the back of seat at 1:16 but immediately removed it at 1:17. Why remove it right away when they were so comfortable being so near each other during the selfies? Looks suspicious to me.

Yes! I was smiling from ear to ear and nodding like crazy when I saw the “some” stage. More than friends but not yet dating at the time of that chat, yes. Hopefully it has progressed some more while they are finishing up the drama. Let’s see what we can find out during the end of drama get together for the cast. How I wish they will also have a cast & crew trip after the drama to celebrate its success. The more they are together, the more we can peek into their after drama interactions. After Goblin, all 4 of the main cast were not able to go to the trip since all were busy with CFs and what nots when the drama ended.
I hope there will be a TYH cast/crew trip and that they will join to the trip.

? Welcome to all new members. Let’s all ship, spazz and delulu over our couple who are close friends. So close that they decided to send just 1 food truck to their former director.
I think they will just be firm in saying that they are close friends and nothing else until they are outed and can not deny it anymore. I’ve had 2 ships that sailed (SongSong and SWAG/NamLee - they “broke up” but they were together at the time I was shipping them). There are similarities in the way the couples above behaved on the set with that of Wookie and InNa. The close friendship, very comfortable with each other, the guy teasing and making the girl laugh all the time, guy caring for the girl more than what I’ve seen with other drama pairing (it’s subtle but enough for a shipper to spot a difference). But always saying they are just good friends and nothing more.
I also have 1 ship that is in the middle of nowhere for now. I don’t consider it as sunken ship until one or both are married to someone else. Plus 2 more ships where there seems to be attraction but they are young actors and actresses so they won’t pursue a relationship right now.
Wookie and InNa’s close friendship resembles more of the 2 ships that sailed than the 3 I’m waiting on. Well, 4 ships considering that I’m still waiting for SWAG/NamLee to get back together.
So let’s hold on tight to those similarities and see if Wookie and InNa will pull a SongSong (deny, deny, deny but still go out together with group of friends, announce short engagement and get married in a few months). I must say that like SongSong, Pichi Couple is also popular in S. Korea after Goblin that they even had a CF together. So that’s a big plus. If they ever decide to announce their engagement, it will be welcomed and not frowned upon. And they’re both of marrying age for actors anyway.
Someone mentioned that InNa and Wookie have common friends too. That is even better, if their close friendship become something else, their friends will be their wingman and be the group outing camouflage for our couple.

I only know one couple who did that. SongSongCouple sent a food truck together to a former director and co-actor. So there you go!
But then again, SongSongCouple is the first couple that I followed here in Soompi.

I am cautiously optimistic about this ship. They still have to guest in each other’s fanmeets. They still have to arrive together on the red carpet in the year end awards show. They still have to be sighted by fans in other countries. They still have to deny the sightings. They still have to do this... and that...
Aaaahhhhh. Who am I kidding? I’m shipping them with abandon. I’m so happy I could roll on my bed all day but I can’t. Reality awaits.
Before I forget though, so the Ointment Couple had a lip balm kiss? They seem to be associated with petroleum jelly/Vaseline products? I’m sorry, now I’m thinking of other things with petroleum jelly

@bidown or it could be someone who can look much younger than her age. But can match his wit and understand his humor enough to laugh at it every time. Appreciation can go a long way, it can change minds and melt hearts.
InNa can give younger actresses and idols a run for their money. She can match or even outmatch them with her looks. She can disarm with her charm and captivate anyone with her bright personality.
From the little I’ve seen so far, both her and Wookie seems straightforward in interviews and both know how to have fun in variety shows too. Their personalities seems like a good match. They’re both caring with people around them and not afraid to show it too. Thus, we can see that they also take care of each other.
Sometimes a person may have their ideal type but it’s the one you didn’t see coming, the one that surprises you because they’ve been beside you all along, who usually captures your heart. Or should I say “Touch Your Heart”.
During Goblin days, I had a feeling Wookie was drawn to InNa already. She was nice and caring to him back then but there’s an invisible barrier there for some reason. She “friendzoned” him during Goblin days.
She’s more open in her gestures, smiles and glances at Wookie in Touch Your Heart’s BTS so my hopes are going up. Ah, I hope they realize they’re perfect together.
I imagine there will be a “shooong” moment, when one realizes that the other person has slipped and slid their way into their heart (like Jin Shim’s drunken confession).
I can’t remember who commented about the fanmeets. IU and Lee Joon Gi are good friends and even appeared together recently in a variety show. Even years after their drama ended. So I’m hoping that Wookie and InNa can really guest in each other fanmeets as “close friends”, for now.

Hello fellow LDW-YIN shippers. I love reading all the posts and learning more about them and their close friendship. I was waiting for a shipper’s thread here for them since Goblin days and I’m so glad we finally have one. Thanks @Yoo In Na for creating it.
I like to call them the Wink couple since those winks in the drama are too cute not to be celebrated.
I agree that they should date secretly and then just announce their engagement. Just claim they are friends if they are caught spending time together by fans and reporters alike.
Please Dispatch, leave them alone. They have a strict timetable of 3 years for dating secretly, getting engaged and having a grand wedding. And then beautiful babies!!! Yes, I did. I went all the way to the finish line for these 2 “close friends”, hahahahaha.
I’m already looking forward to the end of year awards night when our KDrama Ken and Barbie will arrive together and walk the red carpet together and sit together and take selfies together. Thank and praise each other profusely while receiving their Best Couple award together. Hey, that’s what friends do, right?
They can even go out with other friends after the awards night to celebrate, yes? Yes, of course. Close friends do that, y’know.
What else can they do? Be the special guest in each other’s fan meets. Close friends do that. Inna doesn’t need to go far for an example of a drama couple who did it successfully. It’s her BFF IU and Lee Joon Gi who did it when their Scarlet Heart RYEO drama garnered a lot of fans. Well, SongSong did it too with SHK guesting in SJK’s fan meet in China. Then SJK, together with Yoo Ah In, were guests in SHK fan meet.
CFs too and photoshoots. These 2 have been blessed with unbelievably great looks that it would be a shame to not share it with us, their fans.
If they haven’t made any steps towards taking their close friendship to the next level, I hope and wish Wookie will initiate it soon. He goes out of his way to make her laugh and be comfortable. I just love all their interactions. But gestures beyond friendship is needed to get to the next level.
InNa I think will not be making the first step specially since she had a previous relationship with another co-star. She’ll be more cautious.
C’mon Wookie. You can do this. You can also touch her heart and convince her it’s worth to take this friendship into something better and lovelier. I believe the seeds of kindness and friendship were sown during Goblin days. Taking steps slowly but for a long time has started back in Goblin and continues in Touch Your Heart. Take your cue from Kwon Jung Rok and make a simple and sincere declaration soon if it hasn’t happened yet. Fighting!

Hello fellow Stargazers. Came back from my Lenten social media break. Now I'm somehow caught up with the biggest news for our JoonU couple - the dating revelation between Joongi and JHB.
@akinahana89 oh captain, dear captain thank you for these words: This ship isn't sunk until a wedding bell sounds.
I agree, I'm on board and will not leave this ship. Our collective observations, perspectives and investigations are far too many to just be ignored and set aside.
I read Joongi's letter and I agree with Captain, the one word missing there to describe his current lady is "love". He did say that the timing of the reveal is premature and not what he intended. Quite bland and lacks enthusiasm for someone who is now telling everyone that "Hey! This is the love of my life" after keeping it for a long time.
I have a theory too as to why it happened this way. It could be that he is being dissuaded from pursuing romcom projects but it's what he wanted. MEC came and it seemed that he will be successful in repackaging himself into a romantic lead star.
He is good in what he does currently so why change it. Why venture into an unknown territory of romantic comedy? The relationship reveal definitely upended his plans to do rom com. Just a thought.
I believe in Joongi and Ji Eun. That palpable tension and undeniable chemistry between them is not imaginary. Time will tell if we will be proven right or wrong.
In the mean time, let's support both their projects and keep chanting.
I am encouraged that the #SWAGCoupleisReal. Since I ship them and JoonU, I'm hoping that I am somehow right about this ship too.

@Yeojachingudeul thank you for sharing the comments of KNetz about Wookie and InNa. I’m relieved that they are getting the support and encouragement to be a couple IRL.
I agree about the kiss being so natural and their chemistry is out of this world. I hope they realize that by now. I mean, what else do they have to do? Aside from getting together IRL? They trust and listen to each other, they work really well together, they’re so comfortable, they tease, joke and laugh together? That’s not just chemistry, that’s compatibility too. And if those weren’t enough, their hot kisses should seal the deal.
I am very suspicious of the zoomed out kisses though. PD-nim is torturing us really. Please give us something we can treasure before the drama is over. Zoom in even just once on their kiss. It might be perilous for our hearts but we’re willing to take that risk. Jebal PD-nim!
