Hi Everyone, Im new to this thread even though I have been lurking the past couple of days  Nice to meet you all :)

Just a quick question if anyone knows the answer?

I was under the impression that Goblin overtook the ratings from reply 1988 ( http://www.allkpop.com/article/2017/01/goblin-becomes-the-highest-rated-tvn-drama-beating-out-reply-1988 ) but on both drama's wiki pages it says that reply 1988 is the highest rated cable drama and goblin is the second one; just curious if I missed something??

I think Goblin was a sheer percentage away from topping the charts from Reply 1988. but that's on Wiki's Neilsen rating survey tho.

@ChunSungIm  Thanks for the update on Goblin DVD. I'm both happy and sad with this news because I know that unless the DVD is region-free, or multiple-region, I don't think I can play it in my country.

@hairuchii  Thanks for the translation! I wonder if you could translate the one with Lee Dong-wook and Yoo In-na as well? Sorry to bother you. (P.S: I remember you said you don't like memory loss endings. What do you think of it now? )

Whoop whoop.... would you be able tot share the status of the DVD??? is this the director's cut??

I don't understand, Haesu reaches out to Jung for help to leave the palace, but then WHY is she going to marry Wook?  Why not marry Jung in order to get out of the palace? Why is Wook even involve in that plan? I can't imagine Haesu walks up to Wook, asking him to marry her, after all that he has done (or not done) to her.  Haesu really has not even one single backbone in her body.

I know in bbjx she reached out to both 8th and 14th to get her out of the palace after her closest chaeryung-relevance is brutally sentenced to death.

I didn't like the SBS edit in the first half of the episode. In the Intl version, the conversation with the General where Wang So figures out who's on his side essentially happens right after Eun's death. The general asks Wang So that to be a king, he has to give up people like he did with SD, so who is he going to give up. Then they cut RIGHT to WS breaking up with Hae Su, which establishes VERY clearly that he broke up with HS for multiple reasons

    1) To keep the Yo from using her as a pawn against him

    2) To gain General Park's support

    3) Dealing with her distrust of him regarding Eun's whereabouts.

In the SBS edit, the conversation with the General is a flashback, which kind of puts the logical sequence of events out of order. I did like the backhug scene and def thought that should have been included in the intl version.

Kudos to you guys! i prolly couldnt have spotted the differences even if i have two screens playing two versions side by sides.

Isn't there a saying- you've got to break up to make up?

Or maybe: Absence makes the heart grow fonder?

Or better yet: If you love someoneset them free. If they come back they're yours; if they don't they never were....

Pick a platidude and feel better because it's going to be okay!!

Im satied by the the kisses, loves, hugs... *twinkling-starred-eyes*

I think she returned it some episodes back. She gave it to 13th or 14th to return. They just didn't show him, 8th, actually receiving it. He probably has it hidden somewhere, so he can stroke it brooding in the dark.

SERIOUSLY... international version has that scene off.
Urghhh!! Crossing my fingers for the dCut to go through!
