    After reading recaps and comments here,  i totally hesitated watching ep 18 onwards.  I thought, I'll just wait out the last3 and binge watch it all at once then have a day of feels then dust off my hands & heart on sleeves of it.   OMG! I broke down and watched :w00t: *squeals*!!  So..Soo sad:bawling: (get it? hehe) First set of tears came rolling when they snuck(is it even a word) out and were having one of their talks at the stones.  Also, when she told BA to send Jung a message...:cry: as well as the scene where JiMong told her to let go of the King first(i just felt like she reverted to being a child -not a bratty tantrum mind you, but like when a mom telling  her sweet child to give up a toy cause another child wants it).  

     

    Poor King, him having mommy issues- even now is ...the struggle.  That is some serious therapy long needed.

    I'm sure it'll come into play after Soo and So are separated. It'll be proof of their ~love~ etc etc. I'm sure So will be crying over it in the end...............

     

    i was wondering as well.  the first thing that came to my mind was similar to you guys but also, " giiirl is gonna wall paper his poems all over his room right before her byebye.  A memento for him of her sorta kinda stuff (or would it be the other way?..hmm)  for when she goes byebye.  it'll proably show up somewhere in a flashback, memory or in a scene at the end or towards the end.  it will be an "ah-ha" moment.

     

    p.s. i spy The newly crowned King wears booties to bed.  :P

    This thing happen when Monica Geller is a new head chef in restaurant but everybody hates her. They bully her, etc. In order to make people follow her as boss, she hires one of her friend, Joey, to work with her just to fire him (they make this plot together). After she fires him, her employee start to fear her and follow her as the new boss.

    Well, they don't kill people in cold blood in friends but I can see the resemblance.

    .....then there was 3.  After watching ep 17Raw, I finally got the sinking feeling:tears:(anxiety) of what's about to come.  And it does not feel good.  Gawd, the brother/sister duo is h:angry:rrid af!  YH I get..she was always a richard simmons and aimed for the throne via marriage with a anotha brotha (lol)-namely WangSo, who she apparently always had a major crush on (my 21st centruy mind went "ew!":crazy:) but WangW:blink::angry:k...wtf!?  Okay..okay I get why he's sour and whiny but OMG! just. Oh.My.Gawd! 

     

    Btw, imo, Pre-production was useless in this drama cause it feels and looks rushed.  I dont think its far off to say they most likely filmed alot of (extra) scenes just so they could edit and re-edit according to their domestic viewers response for each episode.   Kudos to the cast -they did a wonderful job ...i'll be on the fence with everything else.  Oh!..about HongJongHyun's acting..I take back what I said  about him early on..  he totally played his character awesomely! Geez, I felt so sad for him in ep 17.

    whenever i visit here i pretty much just backread about couple or so pages just so i can the gist of what's up (sorry,  but we all know once u leave this room when u return u got t:crazy:ns of pages to back pedal lol- thats how awesome this group is:P!  Anywayz, it seems rn people are raggin' on LJG on his ...age?? and domestic low ratings?  

     

    To both, all I can say is they. dont. know. what. they. are. missing!  that other saeguk drama OTP that is popular domestic wise imo, mostly (no offense to the cast) because the "it" boy ...& girl atm, is in/on it.  Korea is obsessed with puppy love.  ML cast should be proud of their int'l success..i find that to be a bigger feat/achievement.  :D

    wells, if you really wanna use baseball as an analogy on all these pics.....he basically got all bases and hit a homerun:w00t:!  guy had a blast with his sweet scenes with actress Lee JiEun thats for sure.  Theyre all business but once "cut"  is heard he is super haaaappy and she's the ever so poised one ...with a lol  here and there.

    Dont get me wrong..i love love love all the bts or anything having to do with this particular drama but after watching ep 16... i desperately want to see the bts/ng reel of HongJongHyun (WangYo) and involved actors chanting and all his paranoia scenes.  lol i couldnt help but snicker while i was watching them cause i see how this cast got along so well....they seemed to have fun bts all the time.

    I swear Ep 16 was by far the best episode for our SoSoo! I actually bawled when their beautiful romantic yet cute moments happened :")

    Its so powerful, we can feel that they were longing, yearning and they obviously feel so safe around each other.

    What more can I sayyy, they brought out the best in each other and that just made me love #SoSoo even more! :heart:

     

     

    *look at them smiling! I wonder is it Hae Soo - Wang So or IU - Lee Joon Gi? :D

     i watched. i did love.  BUT the scenes we were ALL itching to watch especially after all the bts stills we've all stared and watched multiple times were, imo, waaaaayyy too damn short for all the hype it got.  Imo, what was shown was more of a montage. It. just. feels. so. rushed (as always).   I've been watching kdramas long enough to know they never fail to dissappoint in overhyping then falling short of the hype.  That feeling you get when watching and staring at the previews and bts is more climactic..more exciting than actually watching the scenes in the episodes is just the suckiest feeling, u know? lol

    okay. back to waiting.......

    This isn’t about palace rules or Jung (who is, by the way, probably as consequential as a fly), this is about pent-up anger, frustration, pain and disappointment and misunderstanding. They are basically having a lover’s quarrel in front of a whole unit of Palace guards and they don’t give a damn; arguing almost without actually talking to each other and only communicating through the guards, but the whole time they never stop looking at each other. This is A BATTLE OF WILLS. Hae Soo is punishing Wang So and he simply takes it.

     

    Of course, So immediately realizes she is lying to him,  just like he recognized her apprehension on the boat, just like HE NOTICES EVERYTHING ABOUT HER because he knows her like no one else, sometimes even better than she knows herself. HS’s reaction might seem as a little extreme, but let’s face it, she has been extreme from the beginning, just like Wang So which is probably one of the many reasons why he was so drawn to her. Her action show that they have a long history - SO KNOWS WHAT SHE IS CAPABLE OF, he saw her hurting herself before and she knows it. He respects Soo’s guts and like the tactician he is WS realizes that SHE IS DEFIANT AND ANGRY AND this is a battle he cannot win, therefore he retreats in order to fight another day.

    It’s such a heartwrenching sight to see him once again standing outside, banished by a woman he loves, UNWANTED ONCE AGAIN. AND JEALOUS. He can hear Jung’s voice and again another woman in his life “choses” his younger brother over him (it’s even more poignant the place where he told HS his childhood story about Jung is so close). His jealous and turbulent reaction shows that no matter how much he tried to let HS go, he simply can’t.

     

    @briseisI gotta say, Me loves when you do these thingamajigs.  I'm like, "soooo spot on, yeah, uh-huh, OMG..!, :w00t:, :o, :wub:.." as i read them lol.  thanks for the reads:D...ooohh same goes for @40somethingahjumma.  Me :heart:your thingmajig reads as well!

    hmm.. i just saw the pics on the page before where WS looks to have swung his sword at his brother, Eun.  Seeing that there is an arrow right through poor #10-shot most likely by their brother WY or his men-  I was wondering if it was done to "put him out of his misery"/not suffer through the pain kinda thing??  I mean, so far, WS has been weilding his sword for the lives of his loved ones..not for himself per se. 

     

    Btw, them "sharing a night together" spoiler pics :w00t: :phew::P ..but mostly :w00t:!!  Cannot wait!

    In the interest of finding out (Aand mostly so we can hold on till next week ), I recommend we do a Favorite Scene Challenge with the following questions:

    Favorite (2nd favorite, if the above scene was your favorite) WS/HS scene? - Any of their bickering scenes :P 
    Favorite WW/ HS scene? - Definitley, the walking in the snow scene.  That was just very fairytale-ish looking to me.
    Favorite Scene involving a female character (Queen Shitty Mom, Yeonhwa, Chaeryung, Lady Hae, Lady Oh, etc)? - Hmm..early episodes HS w/her cousin Lady Hae & her lady in waiting (ChaeRyung) : Mid-episodes HS w/Lady Oh :  Recent episodes,  its rare but HS and Eun's wifey scene, Seon Deok.
    Favorite Scene involving a male character (that is not WS )? - HS w/ #10 Wang Eun, I just always had (have) this goofy smile whenever they had scenes together...even in 15, the latest episode. 
    The scene that made you fall/start rooting for WS/HS? - pretty much from the get go.  BUT most definitely when she was on the stone bridge and she turned she bumped into his chest and he questioned her about if she isnt scared of him.  or maaaaybe, when he rescued her from falling then he pushed her off his horse lol. 
    Scene that made you question your love for WS/HS? - omg..! ne~ver! (bite your tongue :P)
    Scene that made you fall for WW? - I honestly cannot say I "fell" for WW, but I did feel like he was this "too damn good to be true" type of guy (so, you know,  that means t-r-o-u-b-l-e iz a brewing) lol
    Scene that made you question your love for WW? - N/A..can't quesrtion if you never "loved" lol
    Favorite scene with the other Princes (Mu, Yo, Eun, Baek Ah, Jung)? - HS w/ any of them, really.  But I guess Eun.  
    Scene you can point at as the one that irrevocably made you obsessed with the drama? - HS's first encounters with ALL the princes.
    Scene that made you saddest? -  WW teary excuses as to why he became an richard simmons :w00t:.  And, Lady Oh and HS "mommy-daughter" talk in cave:cold_sweat:
    Most poignant scene? - Lady Oh's hanging episode.  But what really got me was the cave scene with her and HS the moment the bell rang(?) when she was hung and cut to all their faces for reactions but most especially HS under WS cloak in the rain on the  ground to get to Lady Oh..the realization. The helplessness WS had..all that.  
    Scene that made you think/analyze the most? - Well, if you really want honesty lol it wouldn't be a scene in the drama but more like it'd start as soon as i enter this forum :vicx:.  Like, I'd be all good about watching it for pure entertainment and leaving it alone as soon as its done but once I get on here and start scanning ...OMG! my head goes crazy. Good crazy though lol.
    Scene that made you anxious the most? - Anxious you say?..  its usually the parts I cannot stand watching..the baddies.  but whenever Queen RBF and Princess deadly dimples show up..forget it, im rollin' my eyes talking to the screen poking at the screen lol grunting.  But if I really think about me being most anxious, it'd be the scenes they show in the upcoming episode previews.  Now, thats maddening...i mean they show thaat and they expect us to wait!? lol

     

     

    Can I add, Most favorite HS personality trait?  Her early, mid, or recent Goryeo personality?  mine would be her EARLY Goryeo episodes, I reeeeaally miss her 21st century smarts, spunkiness and sass... THAT WOULD REALLY HELP I THINK NOW.   now she is sooo (typical kdrama female) meek. im waiting for her to kick WW in the groin at least lol daaangit.

    $64,000 question: Why hasn't HaeSoo reveal to Wang So  her past love was WW?? And How naive is Wang So not to notice who it is after all. this. time. when even the most ditziest of princes figured it out, u know? Now with a threat from YH....a heads up to Wang So from HaeSoo would be sooooo useful and a helpful heads up right now for him to know what his next move should be.  I mean, WangSo is stuck between a rock and a hard place.   He must have the biggest stress migraine..ev~er!   I honestly did. not. like. this episode.  It pissed me off lol.  What's p-ing me off more, is the fact that time jumps are happening now and things (as usual in kdrama land) are being rushed. Never  fails.  anyhoo, waiting for next weeks eppies lol:w00t:

     

    P.s.  Their kiss scenes are kisses unlike kdrama i have to say...nice:P:blush::w00t:

    P.s.s. Im really wantimg to smack WW in the head maybe a kick in the groin as well.  He is the silent killer..daaang!

    P.s.s.s How sad is it that Eun and His wifey is about to die soon after their long waited "wedding night".  it was so frickin sweet how they had their feels lol.

    i have yet to watch ep 14 properly (i scanned over and hit parts that i wanted to see ASAP:P ) and with subs.  BUT ....

    btw, the death scene of the CP and JM was sad...i actually got emo:cold_sweat:.  But I was wondering...that bath pool he drowned in was uhh knee high deep.  the CP was 6ft tall....  :blink:.

    im just reading recaps so the images that i  am building in my head is ...crazy.  im picturing musical chairs ya know.  the person to sit on that throne thats still warm from the kings butt is winner.  nevermind their dad is dying the vultures want power and their mommies arent so different especially queen rbf.  btw, lady oh did get the last laugh cause the king remembers her on his death bed rather than queen rbf

    Okay. Juuuust watched ep 12 w/subs....:sweatingbullets: phew..!  I found myself not as agitated as watching it in the raw or reading the ll!ve recaps.  Thank Gawwd!  Its very understandable/plausible how HaeSoo is reacting  to ev~rything happening around her after all the crap that has happened.  The one thing that broke her... the death of Lady Oh- who came to care and look after her like a mother.  Imho, HS could carry the weight of anything...or anyone messing with HER, but when it comes to others she cares about she. just. can't.- she. won't. The death of Lady Oh just broke the camels back (and spunky go-get-um spirit :(--I really miss that part of her).    I mean, HS feels in the deepest of her soul that she was/is the cause.  The way her r'ship with the 4th is headed she just didn't mean for all of it too happen...girl was just being a sweetheart w/a friend and before she knew it it has blossomed into :heart: (uhh, well it's juuust starting to surface).  Then, there is #8, Wook, he knows (and he knows very well) he can talk the talk but dude just cannot for the life of him can.not will. not.walk the walk.  I do believe he genuinely loves/loved HaeSoo  but the dude is (still) stringing her along ( the night scene at the river...?  my gawwd :tears:.. that scene irked the  crap out of me :angry:!).  He asked if she hated him not that he missed her like crazy everyday all day.  He also had the gall to tell her not to hurt more cause it would make HIM feel more sh!tty (okay, so he said "sorry") than he already is.

     

    In other words,   When it comes to WW-HS, he makes it about him.  WS-HS, he makes it about her.   

     

    Btw, did i miss the WooHee-HaeSoo initial meeting?  why wasnt it shown? i really want a reel all the scenes that ended up on the cutting room floor..that alone would be interesting to watch.  the behind-the-scenes/making of is another ...and of course, all the bloopers/NGs.  :blush:

    As for Wook we can finally see that he draw the line between family and his love. To him if he doesn't become king there is no way for his family to defeat the evil queen. To me, he believes that HS will "understand him" and that she will forgive him but hey, thanks to him for turning his back to HS she sees what kind of person he is and that she sees 4th who always stood by her thru her dark period. WS live up to his promise but WW his promises are all empty. 

    I cannot wait for her to give him the bracelet back and cut ties with him

    THIS!! OMGAAAWWD ..ALL THIS!  Thank you!  Dang :angry:, I really wanted to smack WW upside his head in this episode lol.  I'm "OMG"-ing throughout his scenes-making hand gestures and cussing at him in silence (it was 4:30 AM-shhh:vicx:)  Also, when Wang So (yes, imma spell out his whole name cause he deserves it.  unlike... the other one:confused: lol) came along and covered Our dear HaeSoo in the rain with his Black Vampire-ish attire...idky, but the movie, "Jeepers Creepers" came to mind lol.  But yet, I thought, that scene (even thought just seeing stills alone) was epic looking..like "wow!". Now we wait a whole week for kiss #2 and WW screaming...(cant believe dude literally turned his back on her when it counted the most..."oh f:vicx::vicx::vicx:k", i said to myself quietly then "like, seriously dude ..why'd u even start with her WW!?!?..."Wae???" like Haesoo faintly said as well).
