Just watched RE yesterday.  I didn't have high expectation of this movie since it has zombies and all but surprisingly it turned out to be very entertaining and so glad that JG appeared every now and then throughout the whole movie.  He looked so nice in the movie and yes he spoke only 2 lines.  I believed he was given about 5 mins screentime not 10 mins as per the news.  To be continued.....

 

I wonder why he pushed so far his FM in Singapore. As far as I know he has no scheulde in February. Time for rest? That means he won't start filming any drama/movie until after his birthday. And if the drama will be another pre-production I don't think we'll see him on the screen before September.

This is the reason for which I think that for JG will be almost impossible to choose a romantic drama as his next project. The chemistry between him and JE will be very hard to overcome.That's why I think Criminal Minds would be a good choice for now, less romance, more actions. On the other hand, he is unpredictable and we all know he likes challenges.

There are people who still denies the exceptional chemistry between JG&JE and they think that another actress, more experienced would have been more suitable for HS role. But I don't see how an actress more experienced (assuming this implies an older actress) could act like a young girl of sixteen years. This reminds me of NSM in the Joseon Gunman, how hard it was for her to express a teenage girl, and the criticism that she received.

Almost three years ago I wrote in the JG thread that his youthful and fine features fit better with an actress much younger than him and very beautiful. The fact that SWWTN was chosen as the best historical drama by DF proved that I was right. The chemistry factor comes first in any romance drama for most viewers, and it matters less how experienced are the leading actors. If they don't fit, the drama will disappoint.

So, when I saw that JE will be distributed in ML, I expected that the chemistry between them to be very good. But I didn't expect to blow my mind and to go beyond the screen. Those who “can't see” the chemistry between JG&JE on the screen and beyond it, are not blind. Most of them are shippers of JE with somebody else or people who think that JG deserves a more mature and experienced actress on the screen or mature woman in his life. We can't speak in his name, we can't speak in JE' name. We can only observe and draw conclusions. And we can not deny that those who love SoSoo couple or/and JoonU couple are many more than those who deny their chemistry. And I'm sorry to say that... I saw him in that Lotte drama web with Lee Cho-hee. JG was charming... but I didn't see too much chemistry between him and that actress.

Agree! They can be totally independent of each other from a professional point of view, and also they can learn something one from other. As JG fan, I tend to talk more about him than JE. But in last few days I focused more to JE, watching many videos of her on YT, reding comments, go back in this thread and rereading what has been posted about her. I think I now understand why she has so many haters. She's beautiful and has a body of goddess, she's talented and has a wonderful voice, she is smart, determined and ambitious. But this type of person is the kind that can raise a lot of passions around her, from admiration and love to envy, jealousy or hatred. (I was amazed to find out how many people ship her with different idols/actors).

She's young she's a successful artist but I'm afraid that it is possible she will have to face in the future with these negative feelings. (I hope with all my heart that will not be the case). But no matter how strong is a woman there are times in her life when she needs to be sheltered, protected. When she needs a strong shoulder on which to put her head in hard times. And when this comes from a man who can sacrifice something from his life to protected her I think it's called love. If it's the love of a friend or a loved one, it doesn't matter anymore.

I'm one of the minority too who wasn't mad at him.. chingu @NoonaE But I was otherwise, Lol, at JHB in which I've mentioned about why in some of my posts.

He was definitely invited way before in 2016, and he did plan to go there. He and Fraser James, one of the cast, were chatting on FJ's IG update on 22nd Oct 2016 about meeting each other again in the next year, and even Milla mentioning on IG like meeting him in LA soon or will treat him well there, such comments.

By my opinion of JG and JE in their comfy level of being open with their daily life, probably Joongi knew when the breaking up news was sheduled to be broken quite beforehand. He may be pondering about what should he do since then, and seemed to inform the RE6 team for his attendance cancellation just after their promo in Korea.

I was guessing before about Jieun's break up news could be before the Chinese New Year. Wow! She really has left her past relationship in the old year.. All the best to her happiness in her career and life from this her born-rooster year! And I agree to you of Joongi. He's an unpredictable guy.. About the dating rumors between JG and JHB,  I didn't cared of them. I didn't ship JG and JHB but I think that if they are happy together I'm happy for them. It has been proven that there is nothing between them and that they are just friends.

Now, I'm JoonU shipper (my first ship) and of course I hope that the two of them will be something more than “close colleagues” in the future because I think they fit great from all points of view. I've never heard JG to praise anyone as much as he did with JE. And more than that I have not seen until now a couple to shine and to look so happy together than JG&JE.  But if what I think turns out to be just my delulu mind and in the end they will end up to be with someone else... of course I will be disappointed , but I'm not going to judge them for that, is their life not mine and all I want as a fan is for them to be happy.

And that because Loen said that this break-up happened just one week ago. So, I don't know anymore what to say about JG last IG posts, because in my opinion NAMOO would not have made that announcement without consulting him. I'm sure I saw in his previous post on his IG but I'm to busy to find it now. He told Milla that they will meet again soon in LA. About the list, maybe it was a mistake with Li Bing Bing but definitely not with JG because I think they are seen at different levels. The fact that they was so ambiguous with his schedule and the fact that he has not confirmed his attendance to RE6 LA premiere, makes me think that he knew that JE will announce her break-up, but he didn't know exactly when it will be the day. Also I inclined to believe that he learned of her decision after the RE6 press conference in Korea, because otherwise he would not have told Milla that they will meet soon in LA. (or maybe soon he will start to film in US ) So he left open the opportunity to go back in Korea without creating suspicion. This is my supozition.
