Is it just me or does anyone also think HS's "From now on, don't forget that [you love me]." is kinda insufficient and not a good comeback to WS's "I love you"?

Would be nice to hear her say "I love you too" or "I love you just as much." to him. I mean, come on, she accepted the kiss, she should've just spilled everything and told him those words too. He deserves to hear it from her.

Hoping she'll say it to him in the next episodes...

Nevertheless, I enjoyed all their interactions today.

Now that you've mentioned about this, I've realize that in the Chinese version, neither of the main characters (Ruoxi and 4th Prince) ever said "I Love You" to each other. Their interactions were more indirect and "beating around the bush". So, I think that since this version contains the phrase "I Love You" from 4th Prince is quite special and direct.

Also, is it only me that I actually didn't like the crown prince being king? Like, I think I missed an important part, or something, as I am not able to understand why he became so paranoid. Was it because of the mercury? Anyways, if a king was to be like how the crown prince demonstrated, then I'd rather have Yo or So or Wook take over because they seem to be more capable of doing so.

  2. I knew who killed the King! It was Hae Soo's personal attendant! (I forgot her name)..... Since she had a relationship with 9th prince, and since 9th prince was with 3rd prince, 9th prince could've persuaded the attendant to do something to the king. Therefore, later on, 4th prince will kill the attendant along with 9th prince since they collaborated to kill the king. This is kind of how Yongzhen killed Yutan and 9th prince.

It's still there! He's wearing makeup courtesy of Soo's Beauty Salon, Goryeo branch! :)

I thought that that pose (the one with him looking towards the camera in the king's outfit) happened after Hae Soo die/disappear/blown away/vanished/eaten. So, who stayed behind and did his make up? Unless, that pose is before Hae Soo die/disappear/blown away/vanished/eaten.

HS's life is very horrible, getting tortured and almost married the king. I think it's very traumatic for modern person like HS who lived non violent life. Compared to the original, the king regarded RX with high appreciation and cared for her, one time she got punished, the king sentenced her to got spanked and demoted to the low rank but not tortured. RX was a noble lady so she got high rank when she was a court lady.

I don't like the plot using HS to deliver a poison and i don't like how they portrayed the king. I didn't buy the king was so slow not suspect his own family were the master mind. He did suspect his own family in the first attempt, though there was no evidence, he still should do something so the evil duo got scared and wouldn't do it again.

My exact opinion! Sometimes I wonder how he became king (according to this drama interpretation of King Taejo)

Does anybody watch Thai dramas in this forum? If you do, you guys will understand this statement: 4th Prince -ah, if she refuse your love and affection, there are other ways to make her fall in love with you. Don't wait, be haste, and make a heir as soon as possible.:lol::lol:

Anyways, on a serious note, I can totally understand why Hae Soo is trying to ignore 4th Prince.

To answer your question in the spoiler: yes, WS will soon find out about WW-Soo's affair  (LJG said it himself in the cast interview) And soon WS will get jealous with Wook, and becomes obsessed with Haesoo, and then he keeps getting very jealous later on :sweatingbullets:  I hope So won't be too insecure because of it. :sweatingbullets:

Oh.... wow..... OBSESSED.... that's a strong word..... *imagination runs wild*.... Predicting the things he will do to her since he is not as calm as the one in the Chinese version. :lol::lol:

I have a question. This is bugging me and so bothering me even i think when it will happen.

I don't watch the chinese version and even my friend told me all the story in chinese version, i havent found anything about their story and i feel so bad every time I watch this drama like gosh, this drama is an adaptation from chinese drama, you should make a research for them since i like Wang So and Hae Soo.

Since Hae Soo already together with Wook, i am curious when she starts to love with Wang So since Wang So already fall in love with her and he realized it all the way.

I am curious and please somebody tell me about the Chinese version of Ruoxi fell in love with the 4th Prince as well as the Korean adaptation

    i am so clueless :(

In the Chinese version, Ruoxi fell in love with 4th Prince after she figured out that 8th Prince decided to go after the throne when Ruoxi asked 8th Prince to choose between her or the throne. She was rather quite upset about the situation, and then after that, 4th Prince just kept appearing in her daily life, which made her got used to 4th Prince being around her. That's when their relationship started to grow, and then they fell in love. So long story short: 8th Prince chose to fight for the throne - Ruoxi dumped 8th Prince - 4th Prince came into the picture - Ruoxi felt connected with him - They fell in love......

Now, for this version, I'm not even sure anymore... on how they will make Hae Soo fall in love with 4th Prince. All I know for sure is that if they're really following the storyline, then Hae Soo should date 8th Prince first, and then later dump him for 4th Prince because 8th Prince decided to choose his ambition over his love.

  7. It's just sadder that in this version, the cousin/sister actually love eight prince........ :tears: but then she acknowledges that eight prince only has eyes for Hae Soo. Well, now that I think about it.... the other version was sad too because in her whole lifetime, she didn't even get to spend her life with the one she loves....hmmm..... whatever, both of the versions are sad in their own way.

About 13th prince feelings towards Lady Hee... did he have a one-sided love for her? Or did he just genuinely cared for her as from a point of view from a brother to a sister?

I personally think that 4th prince will look more handsome (even though he already is) if they put his hair in a bun, and push his bangs on the mask away, only revealing his mask without any hair blocking it. Anyways, just an opinion of mine.

The scene when the king asked Hae Soo "why am I a good and wise king", I was expecting Hae Soo to whip up a creative poem like how Ruoxi did. But then, I realize that Hae Soo is not well rounded in history, so my expectation went *bloop! Into the drain* Anybody else who watched the Chinese version was expecting the same thing as what I was expecting? Or was it just me? Maybe it's just me.... hahahahahahahahaha

  8. What I am displease with the 4th episode is that 8th prince and 14th prince are very disrespectful towards 4th prince even though they are unaware of his story.

When 8th prince proclaimed "nothing here belongs to you" to 4th prince, 4th prince expression towards that statement was like, "I thought we were on a friendly term, but now you've expressed your true feelings towards me." I felt like 4th prince kind of felt betrayed because his previous expression before that statement was quite happy, but after that statement, 4th prince changed his expression.

14th prince was extremely rude and inconsiderate towards 4th prince by yelling at him without restraint, but only stopping then when his Queen Yoo came by just to witness 4th prince slapping 14th prince. Therefore,  creating a whole new misconception between 4th prince and Queen Yoo. 14th prince may be young, but the youngest he can be is 14-16 years old, and by this time, he should have been taught some manners. So, no excuses for me.

This one episode made me quite mad at every single prince except 4th prince and 3rd prince. And you guys should know why I'm not mad at 3rd prince (for now).... it's because he tried to take the blame for Queen Yoo! What a sweetie pie!

As I remember long ago, one of soompi friends here ever suggest me to a drama bu bu jin xing, if I'm not wrong it was u @delfin during SWP era... haha... so, that is the original of this moon lovers. I havent watched that one yet, since I was told it exceeded 30 episodes more.

But after I watched 3 episodes of this remake, well, I like the story... but I think I'm suffered from SLS now, I want HGJ/HS ends up with 8th prince, wook prince. Well, for some reasons everytie the two are on screen together, I can't take my eyes off from watching them earnestly. lol

So, since I dont watch the original, is the ending tragically ended or happy ending, please don't spill the spoilers too much, just a hint juseyoooo.... :D

Okay, I won't try to spoil it for you. Therefore, I will describe the ending for you though from the original version.

Far Far, away, there is a scene of closure

She silently cried, he mistakenly walked away

    For I wasn't sure

If the ending should be this way.

In my opinion, the Queen doesn't even really love Wang Yo, she is only using him as well. But in the opposite of WS, she is well aware that Wang Yo is longing for his mother's love and affection. Notice that she also rejected his hand...

:tears:.... My yoyo.... my dear yoyo..... Anyway, there's still like 17 more episodes, so there will still be a lot more Yoyo's scenes. :D

being on sick leave from office has big advantage of spending your whole day with your beloved Wangja-nim and staring at his Flawless/Gorgeous face:wub::wub::wub: .... and still you want many more such pics to stare more...So my whole day spent very well. And I spazzed the thread like a crazy

Here I have few questions if anyone can shed some light for me:

    1. All the saeguks I have watched so far (Dae Jang Geum, Iljimae, Dong Yi, Arang and Magistrate etc.) have kings addressed as Jeohna but in this show king is called as Peha (as per what i heard) ?

    2. Females costumes of princess and queen, is it Hanbok ? not sure why I found it different than the hanbok in other shows I watched, was it really different or is it my mistake or less observant me to notice something which is not even there

    3. As we know its a time travel drama and HS was not there is history in reality, so is it possible PDnim cant send her back to today's time and she can be with WS (like an alteration to history) ? cause any of such saeguk drama with fictional character ended by disappearance of that character so that it wont alter the reality or history ? can this happen here ?

    4. Next one, I write Lee joon Ki with a K in middle name while i see many other members using G, so which one is correct letter to use for his name. And its not just one but many other charcaters confuse me be it B vs P or vs D ?

    5. Just on funny note... how difficult it would be for makeup artist to give a scare or imprefection to that perfectly - chiseled - flawless face of LJK ? like emotionally how it must be felt to do some thing bad and how difficult using tools to make it that way ?

For question 1: I've watches plenty of saeguks too, and I have noticed the addressing the Majesty. I've come to a conclusion that Jeohna is mostly used during the Joseon Dynasty while Peha is mostly used in the dynasties before Joseon. I'm just assuming that its based on dynasties, but I can be incorrect.

Question 2: I believe it's not a hanbok. Hanbok was like an adaption of the Ming Dynasty (China). If you pay attention closely to the clothing of the Mings, even the emperor, their attire are just like the Joseon Dynasty.

Question 3: It can happen in this case. Either the writer can make Haesoo die, or the writer can make her a mistress to 4th prince without anyone knowing. 4th prince might make her live in an isolated area, and then visit her frequently since Haesoo is a fictional character, therefore making her not having a name recorded in the royals documents.

Question 4: I use a K for "Ki" because when I was first introduced to him, I saw his name spelled like that, so I got used to it ever since.

Question 5: Hahahahahha... I don't know how to answer this question. My guess is..... slice him up for real? Hahahahhaha
