    W – Two Worlds Episode 12: A Different Chul, A Different Plan
    by TessandClock

"then he asked for a kiss. While the romance was rushed the first time around, now its just forced as far as i can see. He wants to kiss her because he's curious and possibly attracted to her but there's no real feeling or build up to feeling here. It's almost like he's a robot, or something doing things because he's supposed to......
i felt sorry for them, that kiss was meaningless....." (the above quoted from the text)

i duno whether to be angry or to laugh.
i chose to laugh off. my precious W-watching experiences shalt NOT be tainted by two biased recapers.

i was so into giving this Couch kimchi, chance after chance to discover the 'goodness' in Yeonjoo, or to apprecate there's something really growing between Chul and YJ, or to be objective. so i didn't share anything or rebute anything at their site, during last week horrendous sharing on their part. i even try to google and read their This week article, telling myself, "read with open heart, open heart, don't be biased.". so off i go, read.
was disappointed, for a straight 3 weeks, from. ep 9-10-11, they just have nothing really meaning and good to say regarding our OTP. i can't copied their notes. you just got to read yourself, and be exposed to the cruel world, outside our beautiful Soompi-forum world where we are all believers of Chul-joo.
kay, some people never learn, no matter how you point out to them.  if i said, Writer Dad-oh is lazy writing, then these 2 recappers at Couch Kimchi, are Biased writing.

anyway, whatever any people write anything, it will never taint a tint off my luminous Yeonjoo.

Maybe they want a 12-episode long of development for OTP's loveline. But if that happened, they'll also complain about it being dragging. That's why I stopped checking their recaps around episode 8. I stick with Dramabeans and other recappers.

Man I'm getting Option # 4 tension all throughout episode 10. These looks these two be giving each other.;)

They're together even though he has no memory of her. And she's trying her best not to interfere. But yet they still end up together. Not even predetermination or free will can stop fate.

Yes, option # 4 thrown all through out the episode. Sensuality and tension is very evident.

  4. I think Sung Moo is playing god here. Remember the last minutes of Episode 5? He was definitely afraid to be devoured (shot) by his creation hence there are instances that fright registered on his face. But when Kang Chul retreated and gave him a chance to think of a solution, his confidence went high up that he is in total control of his character that's why he taunted him of his incapacity to shoot him. It's like him saying, "I'm afraid you might shoot me but I'm 200% you wouldn't because I know you more than you know yourself.. I created you, I control you and even if you show resistance, there's no way you can do something out of the character I've given you."

In my opinion, Sung Moo is not taunting Kang Chul to shoot him. Instead, he wants to shove it in Kang Chul's face that he's his god and he can't defy him no matter what the situation is. It's also redeeming his authority over Chul. A convincing argument that he's still in control. He's trying to convince both Chul and his own self that he is still the god in Chul's world.

I don't know about you guys, but this episode was so boring and dull. I have been watching it for 2 hours (pauzing and continuing, while doing other things meanwhile). But I see next episode will get better. I guess this is why they warned us the previous week about ep 7 and 8 being packed with excitement and narrative goodness (http://koalasplayground.com/2016/07/30/production-of-w-two-worlds-promises-episodes-7-8-will-be-packed-with-excitement-and-narrative-goodness/).

Yes, episodes 5 and 6 are not as comical and as romantically swooning as the previous one but this is needed to create a plot that is not void of substance. This is a KDrama, I understand, but the material for this is a layer of complex discussions of creationism. It is necessary for this kind of plot to inject dialogues that is pure conversation so that we can see both the side of the creator and the creation. If we go just the romantic route,it wouldn't be necessary for Sung Moo to be the webtoon author. We can settle for a less intricate plot where Yeon Joo entered the webtoon and became the female lead but nothing as complicated as the talk of existentialism and creation.

That's why I really love this drama, it's a mix of silliness of a budding love between two impossible pairing and of the complexity of existentialism. It also throws in the meta and quantum physics. The plot doesn't make sense but it does make sense.
