Last month, when Ki and Kyo sent the coffee truck to PBG, my Korean friend, JHY, finally---finally!---admitted that she thinks they're dating. Hahaha. This is the same friend who tried to discourage me about believing in SS after that  d a m n  visit to Mapa Chicken. Same friend who had a strong Ki bias and was indifferent to SSC. (She's a PBG fan now.) LOL. Same friend who was so over my SS addiction when she indulged my SS-themed sightseeing while in Korea. 

What made her think they're now dating?

The media might not report it because as my friend relayed back in April when she and I had our first talk about the Songs ... that there's an effort to protect the Songs, especially Kyo.

It still seems that way, but likewise now, the media is a bit more daring in saying SS couple on their headlines and articles. My friend's turn-of-opinion now is not alone ... other Korean citizens like her, who were/are indifferent or even don't like SSC, acknowledge that there's something going on with the Songs. My impression is just that everyone's just respecting when SSC officially come out.

Anyway, now that my friend's opinion has changed, she is back again to being more open about chatting with me about SSC. LOL ... and doing favors for me. Hahaha. So, she's listened to the audio of the FM, and this is her summary of the "how they met" portion:

I've done listening for about 9 minutes so far, and it was pretty interesting to know how they first met  Yes, they first met at a women's clothes shop. The shop carried some kind of elastic pants. JK was there buying one for his mother, (many fans screamed in suspicion when he said that). Kyo added that her manager was wearing very fashionable elastic pants, so, JK wanted to buy the same kind for his mother. Some time later, they met again at a cafe, and the day was a week before his joining the army. He added that because he met her that day, he could spend the whole period (guessing the army) safe and sound. However, he couldn't imagine working together with her later at that time. (So, he met her right before and at the end of his military service.) After that, they officially met for the drama, but surprisingly the day happened to be the Valentine's day. It was the first meeting day for JK with the PD & the writer. So, HK didn't have to go (She already finished her meeting in advance), but she decided to come because if she didn't show up, people would assume she had a boyfriend. lol

so finally managed to hear some of the audio and it seems people got many things mixed up. Not anything big but more on the lines of who said what and stuff like that.

Not sure if anybody is interested in translations/clarifications though.

• Like it wasn't Kyo who asked SJK why he was at the clothing stores, it was PKL... then YAI teased him saying it was a dangerous question and should SJK really answer the question. (* he was hinting that SJK might have been shopping for a woman during that time).
• Kyo said that YAI and she always meet when they're drunk or about to drink and it was awkward to meet him during the fan-meeting while they were sober (*fans said that YAI said this but nope it was Kyo).
• Kyo said that SJK and her meeting story could be perceived to be a romantic story because the day when the drama staff called her that they were meeting up with SJK was 14th February ( V day) and they told her that it wasn't necessary for her to come. She said she went because she didn't want them to think that she was meeting up with someone (i.e. the drama staff might have thought she had plans for that day with a boyfriend/date because it was V day). This makes one thing very clear - SJK and Kyo were both single before they started to shoot the drama, otherwise it would make no sense for the drama staff to meet on that day with their stars. Which means fans of other actors/actresses can stop with their crazy shipping.
• Kyo said that she couldn't drink but she started to drink soju after spending time with SJK. So PKL said didn't you say YAI and you meet while drinking?. So Kyo replied that when meeting with YAI it was champagne. So PKL said SJK is your soju friend and YAI is your champagne friend.... SJK said that YAI would develop a taste for soju (*hard liquor) once he goes to the army (*meaning that he would experience more hardships?... I guess).
• YAI said that there were many fans in the crowd supporting SS couple but if he had to then he would want Kyo to play a role of a woman who was obsessively pursuing him.

there are more clarifications....will share them later if people are interested, though I doubt that they are.

• Kyo said that she and those two best friends who came to the fan-meeting all had a crush on the same guy.
• One of the friend said that she used to be extremely jealous of Kyo's beauty.
• SJK said that he had been eager to hear Kyo sing then Kyo said that she sang lower during his fan-meeting so that he would sound better (*also didn't know lyrics) and SJK seemed to be amazed that she had gotten so much better at singing since last time. Kyo said that her friend asked her if she would be singing for the fan-meetings and Kyo told her that she wouldn't, her friend said that's probably a good idea (*meaning her friend's don't think she's a good singer).

Things that the fancam confirms.

1. SJK held her by her arm when she came to sit.  ( @angieknows looks like we need glasses)

2. LKS leaned forward and talked to her while holding the back of her seat, it was totally cute because I thought in a normal sunbae-hoobae relationship he would have stood up to greet her but they talked for quite some time.

3. SJK took the water bottle meant for Kyo, opened it up and gave it to her.

Just saw the video of Kyo entering the hall and this is probably the first time I've seen LKS and her interacting.. The video gave me a headache because it's so shaky and unclear. 

But still happy to see the way LKS just started talking to her...

As fan of SSC, it has been a roller coaster, but for me, the day has been closing with lots more ups!!!!

Kyo's fan meet for her 20th anniversary is confirmed for November 13th---it seems in the afternoon! More details will come out next week!

About time! LOL. Sorry to be cryptic (again) ... but please make it happen, guys! We need another thing to spazz about. LOL.

So ... my history's been wiped out, and I lost 5K of reputation points since Soompi's forum provider made everything wonky with its update.

Others have it worse, as they lost 40k+ reputation points while some people's status were downgraded---i.e. from immortal to legend. Yikes.

Hope Soompi gets all of this fixed up soon!

I watched it, thinking it's a new one from this year because it's the same hair and look for Shilla, but ... she must be immortal? A vampire? A real goddess? However, Kyo's lovestruck-ness manifests itself through her IG posts! She deletes and posts, but she's totally making love pronouncements! LOL. And she's driving us nuts!

She and SJK must be enjoying our nutty reactions over drinks. 

So, speaking of acting cool ... in this interview, which SJK granted before his military enlistment, he talks about his ideal type of woman: A person who's supportive and very much takes care of him. He also says he becomes adventurous once he likes someone. Thanks to @kikyoislove for the info!

On the one hand, SJK mentions acting cool and tending to be unromantic toward his woman ... It seems though that he's changed. Because from what we've seen and what we know, he is very warm and romantic towards Kyo.

Binge-watching Doctors and Uncontrollably Fond, I prefer Doctors... but I still can't seem to find anything to replace my DOTS void.

Especially with SS being under-ground these days, I need new news of SJK and Kyo. Well besides the news.. hehe 

Kyo ranked number 1 for the month of June

SJK ranked 2 for the month of June.

This is such a cute show.

Basically the show is based on people having an issue that they want to resolve with someone else. In this episode it's two friends, friend 2 is angry with friend 1 because friend 1 insists that she looks like SHK and friend 2 is sick and tired of hearing this.

So the show is allowing the two of them to talk about their issue and then the  students sitting in the hall will do a vote and resolve the issue.

Friend 2 - Because of you, we're all stressed!

Friend 1 - Why?

Friend 2 - What do you mean why... from which angle do you resemble SHK?

Friend 1 - Look at me carefully, from the top of my head to my toes - I'm SHK!.

(*students in the crowd getting mad at friend 1 for comparing herself with Kyo..lol)

MC 2 - waaah (*he's amazed at her being brazen enough to do so..lol)

MC 1 - Everyone, please just continue to call herself SHK (lol....because the girl looks like she'll be just as brazen as always).
