    I have to spoiler this because it's not appropriate to discuss further in Shs forum :tongue:. I love her dating moments with Appa more than anyone else and it's heartbreaking at the same time they have to path ways. Her Appa is forever her umbrella that shield and protects her and she is able to breath freely when he is around.

     

    You can see entirely different on her expression during the dating with DK, she's more alert being with him. This also tells me why is that, she is restraining herself or unable to opens up to him on what's going on in her mind. The role went reverse on this part, it was because of JA guidance that DK able to breath freely and he feels safe around her. 

    This is really sad because sooner or later he will drain off her energy. 

     

    It's really no brainer to kept pushing both into a couple when one needs constant guidance and needy emotional support and the other naturally wants to escape and breath freely like a bird...she can't sacrifice everything for love because she already sacrifice enough. 

     

    This giving me the impression that it's ok to kept pushing and ask a person to keep trying eventhough there is a slight chance that of a horror abusive image left in a family? How is that not different from haraboji behaviour? 

     

    @golden19 chingu, i was browsing around looking for the right place to vent off my heavy hearts. Im surprised to find you here too  :tongue:

    It know exactly how it is in Mgl thread, it's the same situation we face daily in our society, there are not only people that support Psh because of Psh, there are people that's as needy as Js character which absolutely hate the negative comments of her. 

     

    I'm felt relieve at the same time knowing that you all here share the same sentiment of burden carried by JA character.

     

    It's amazing Mgl able to show what's reality like but there were some portion which I also felt not making any sense haha maybe during writer-nim compiling the story she did on research and polls on how it would be like being a dependant adult VS independent adult and that's what she came up with from the majorities. But I don't mind a little ridiculous humour in the drama because I am very tense watching it, I need some of that relieve. 

     

    We can only wish this world would fill with JA characters because to reached to her level, she has to force herself out into the crazy world with full of trial and error no matter how much she hated it. 

    And it's absolutely unfair for needy/coward person to rely on her because a person will only learn and grow through that trial and errors of "their own" not through others. I do believe TS is also a timid person during his younger times and he became what he is at his age because he force himself to step out sacrifing his dream to face the harsh world without anyone's help.

     

    It's a very Very Long... way for DK to reach that level, yes he can but it's going to take his whole life (like what TS mentioned to him "his whole life")without anyone's help and guide maybe he will/will not make it.

     

    It's 20/80 chances for what I see partly is because ...

    1)He was not born into a poor family. The years of hardship of desperation for money for survival and supporting the family and with own struggling hands without  anyone helping will never be understood by him.

    2)...for him to reach the level of owning his very first business was because of people's help (his secretary and JA).

    3)is because since he already had what I mentioned on 2nd point above, he has not go through the harsh environment to build something as big as "a company" himself by his own hand. 

    The tiny moment of harsh environment he went through was the result of him buying a gift for JA which I do not think she needs that sort of thing in the 1st place because she is not the princess type

    please forgive my lack of understanding in your view at the main thread but I have to thank you for posting it because of your word on "lying" part had woke me. I didn't realize it until you mentioned it. 

     

    That really WOWs me completely and the writer-nim is very good in hidden all the nessasary  message in the story. And alot of other parts I highlighted earlier, it portrays out to satisfy majorities but in true form she is secretly hinting on the minorities that's the message she wants to tell. The true hidden message which the majorities society are unable to accept because it has to take one to to went through struggle, to give and to stump apon to be able to take it. 

     

    I think the part you mentioned on the other thread that the lead portrait out as a deception. Yessss I felt it and thank you. 

    It wasn't shown in the drama as in appropriate because it was perfectly hidden in hilarious scene. 

     

    I have a very vague memories on his pursue but some of the scenes which sent me a red flag which is

    1) his conversation between him and his bestie Kijae. His plan is to bring Ja back home and convince his parents

    2) his continuesly pursue JA when she feels suffocated. With the same mission of bringing her back into his hell home. 

    3) with his hidden goal, he only tells JA he wasn't doing it for her but himself and his freedom. But the scene on ep51 his conversation with his bestie it's clearly he did it because of JA which I think it's absolutely wrong wrong way a human being living for another person...because of he will fall hard if he didn't protect himself. Irony is in return JA needs to protects him, it's draining her off. This needy and leeching off energy from others is suffocating.

    4) He kept the biggest lie from her about haraboji went physically attack her dad. This is a BIG NOOooo to me. 

    5) was a new realisation I found through your post on the main thread and yes I agree with you it's a lie straight to JA face.

     

    I don't know how society came into handling a relationship built from lies but "I Can't". But then when I think clearly in this world right now we are living, there are alot of people doing it and their partner endure it. 

    And simply because their partner "CAN" endure it, they kept on repeating their betrayal habits, the one that endure have no choice but to suck it in. They are also people doing the same back to their partner just to justify it. 

    This is my take on the whole view. 

     

    And yes I absolutely adore Ja and Ts father-daughter relationship and closeness. The struggle of Ja made him proud of his own achievement and it was all worth the struggle for to have a daughter that's so similar like him. 

    Phew! I almost cried on the last sentences I wrote. Well I think I have to stop now. I became so long winded since i watched Mgl I can't believe what it did to me. And NOOooo I will not watch it again because it's too painful it reminds me of myself.

     

    And if I don't reply anymore after this, it only meant that I no longer want to SPAM further Lmao :lol:

    Hope i'm not intruding you all. Firstly please forgive my broken english, its been all over soompi since the 1st day i joined lmao..

    Due to the sensitivity of some fans i figured that its safer to come into this thread to clear my head. 

    Reasons i'm here is because there is something i want to shed some lights on my personal view on MGL. As a person that went through struggling life, i can understand JA.
     

    Do not angry at those bashing her because as i mentioned in my other post, there were alot like others character in real life but JA character is very rare. The world would be a wonderful place to live in with 80% of JA type of people supporting the 20% other type of people but our
    world is infact not fair. What i see in my daily life is the world i'm living in have only 10% of JA type of people to counter 90% other type of people. Yes insane.....insanely TIRESOME!!!!

     

    Lets look at Haesung family 
    Haraboji  - control freak, manipulative, Phsyco, mentally and verbally abusive


    Papa Choi - giving and tolerating
    Mama Choi - NEEDY (career and relationship)


    NJH      - Self independant
    JMS      - giving and tolerating


    Dk      - NEEDY (relationship and Career)


    JS      - EXTREMELY NEEDY (career and relationship)


    SH      - NEEDY changed to Self independant

     

    Seoh's family
    Papa Seo - giving and tolerating
    Mama Seo - Needy
    JT     - indecisive
    JA     - giving and tolerating
    JH     - self independent 

     

    Haraboji rival is >>>>> I hate to say this it is JA, he has been very alert with her, and she is no ordinary woman. However dirty way he built up his empire from the bottom during his young time, i believe HE went through the same hell as JA did. Which is why i put HIM the same par as HER. 
    Yes i have a crazy thoughts of hoping writer-nim came out with a season 2 with JA vs NYH. Unfortunately she has a tendency of soft spot for not hurting Dk. She always weight the outcome and put others before her.

     

    I on the other hand thankful that writer-nim freeing TS and JA away. On the last scene i believe is only an acknowledgement of JA accept him as not a stranger and observe him from there. If you understand her character you would understand that she is not the type of person that jumps into things hastily, especially someone that bounce back from suicidal attempt. She will definitely weight the pros and cons. However there are other reason why the ending was shown that way. It was because of fan service
    and also at the last scene while JA and TS sitting under the tree.....


    TS mentioned he wishes she would have her own family someday IF she found the 'air' partner. A partner she can breath freely around and likewise. I believe this means 'not to be suffocate'. There is a part of her desperately wants the dad protection so much and she wishes the next life he would be her father again. Somehow deep inside her she knows, she only has her own to deal with, she will be the one carrying the burden for others(this is what i understand about her.)
    And the dad said "One find day... when you came to see me, if the first thought came to you is "DK" instead of me, you should go with your heart."
    Then he tones her down with a statement "As a parent's point of view, their children is allowed to be greedy."

     

    I think after the previous encountered with haraboji, TS foreseen further into haraboji despicable behavior, he is one ultimate obstacle that can never change. He can't do things the normal way right now... does not mean he won't do dirty things behind dk's back in the future. If i was right about TS, he wishes for JA to be able to breath after haraboji's death.
    That explained the final conversation between him and Dk, he asked a BIG question to him ....What's the rush????

    I'm very sorry to DK character and i sympathize his hard work. But i came to realized he took TS's last message entirely differently. What TS meant was for him to WAIT, he can improve his career and do anything he wants but NOT ACT IMPULSIVELY pursuing on his desperate feelings/needs. Give JA time
    to heal and breath.

     

    Now back to our reality question. How many of you came across a strong mentality woman that able to withstand a needy/desparate person as a life partner? This is one serious question because it will reflect on how you view the ending would be.
    I have one friend, she ended up divorcing her husband. She felt suffocated. I would have imagined using my friend as an example and putting in MGL scenario in it. Example....
    After guiding a big needy sister for 25 years top up of that, continue to tolerate another needy husband, yes she will end up mental. Didn't the suicidal raise a red flag? A capable person is also a person. Does not mean anyone can push up her limit just because 'she can' . This is one entirely wrong perception in this society. And i utterly hate it.

     

    I always asking this same question myself since the day i watched MGL. Why??? Why Seo(s) were destined to serve Haesung?? Why? 

    Manager Min .. I think is another kind of JA type, she is a capable woman to begin with and because of her filial responsibility for her parents and empty promises of career advancement(her dream) by haesung family, she was trapped. See whats her result she shown at the end? I believe people called her mental right?  She's yearning to BREATH.

     

    So yeah, this wraps up whats on my mind. I love TS and JA characters so much and i'm thankful that SHS took up this role and she portrayed it perfectly. Even though it was PSH that made me watched MGL, my heavy heart goes to the character portrait as JA.

    But if the role were reverse like "The Princess Man" where PSH revenge on the lead actress dad, my heart really goes to him. And it was so horrible that it has to end with him being BLIND by her mom

    just to stop him from complete his revenge, i absolutely hate it.

    Sorry guys, I've been so so busy these days, finally catch up to the latest episodes:cry:. 

    So back to our 1st poll question 1 & 2. No one guessing beyond ep.22. I don't know if i should wait for few more days for ep.25 preview or not? But here it is the result. 

     

    Q1: which episode do you think he will find out? 

     

    Q2: (fun version. the writer will make it all angsty but lets ignore that for now) if you were the assistant writer, what are the funny,  stupid ways he can discover she is human?

     

    a) she gets food poisoning and gets diarrhea and has to be given medicine?

    b.) she gets almost hit by the truck of doom and he catches her and he hears her heart beat?

    c) he catches her having a meltdown because her favourite pair of heels just broke

         or create your own scenario!

    d) accidentally sees her undressing?

    e) when the evil guy catch Ji A  - believing she is Aji3 - - Sciens must tell him than because she is really in Danger?

    f) when he found out her handphone and sees her photo inside it?

    g) she was not sleeping the night before & fell asleep while at his house, he caught her snoring?

    h) when cutie catch out sexy *cough* robot stealing his yummy food?

    i) he will find out when she accidently goes in a room and find him topless - nearly faint and nosebleed - Robots don´t bleed...?

    j) He barged into the scientists place and see Ji Ah & Aji3 at the same time?

    k) They're out in public somewhere and his life becomes seriously in danger, she does something only a human can do while saving his life (again) ?
