just realised that the guy SJK was speaking to was actually Kyo's manager for the day from UAA.
watch this fancam and focus on the three people talking in the capture below, UAA staff tells SJK something then SJK nods..after which UAA staff starts guiding Kyo towards the stage (*he's holding her award in his hand). In an earlier fancam I think I saw SJK pass the award to his own manager (*Manager Kang is also in the picture, he's wearing that purplish grey blazer and standing behind the UAA staff. Which probably means that Manager Kang gave the award to the UAA staff). After which SS are stopped for a picture with some govt official, then Kyo manages to leave but SJK gets called by someone and he's bowing to them. Then SJK finally walks on to the stage.

And as P keenly observed, he spoke about nationality so he could also bring in age into his answer. LOL. Our boy is smart … a master communicator and hint-dropper.

Before going into the military, SJK had done this May 2011 interview in which he talks about his ideal type, and I think he found the person who truly fits the bill after being discharged.
So glad he went after the role of Captain Yoo Shi Jin in DOTS.

A special thanks to my friend who got buzzed and bloated for the team, was coerced into interrogating a store staff, allowed her arm to be a tagging prop, and had a hoot being wrongly suspected of playing Pokemon Go. LOL.

Episodes 7 and 8 were soooo bad.
There are literally no Korean dramas that one can watch.

Okay. Kyo can post and delete as many shots of flowers as she wants, but no more nursery visits for us! LOL. It was clear that sunny, breezy Cali has been welcoming to whomever took those "flowery" photos. LOL.
The Songs are funny. SJK is more demonstrative about his affections in public---i.e. Chengdu FM and Baeksang---while Kyo acts cool. However, Kyo's lovestruck-ness manifests itself through her IG posts! She deletes and posts, but she's totally making love pronouncements! LOL. And she's driving us nuts!
She and SJK must be enjoying our nutty reactions over drinks.
So, speaking of acting cool ... in this interview, which SJK granted before his military enlistment, he talks about his ideal type of woman: A person who's supportive and very much takes care of him. He also says he becomes adventurous once he likes someone. Thanks to @kikyoislove for the info!

The way he and SHK have been acting, I say all those have been check marked.
On the one hand, SJK mentions acting cool and tending to be unromantic toward his woman ... It seems though that he's changed. Because from what we've seen and what we know, he is very warm and romantic towards Kyo.

Oy vey ... We all want them to be together all the time, but just because that's probably not happening right now doesn't mean it's time to worry. LOL. They should be secure enough in their relationship that they should be able to go on separate vacations with their buddies; that's trust.
Re-posting this from the thread (from a long time ago) when people worried that their busy schedules might get in the way of their relationship. There are positives to this whole thing ... Some parts have been edited. LOL.

However, those two traveled for each other all the time, and I know for a fact that what broke them up wasn’t at all because of the long distance or the lack of quality time between them. Likewise, last I heard, the very busy stars Song Seung Heon and Liu Yi Fei continue to go strong, so, they are finding ways to be together.
Fifth, the Songs are good on their word that they don’t do things half-assed---so to speak. They invest themselves 100% into what they do, and it seems even if it might mean spreading themselves thin. So, whether it’s work, family, charity, or a meaningful relationship, I believe they’re motivated to make things work and give each area their balanced attention.
I think this fourth positive ties in with the first one. Because they’re celebrities, role models, and someone’s child, they understand and accept that their time is shared with other people and responsibilities.
By the same token, I also think the Songs are cognizant of their personal limits, so, as much as we would love for them to go all the way to the altar, we should also understand the flipside.
Sixth, they’ve got secret agent skills.
We didn’t know until later that they had a New York rendezvous, and they’ve been to Serengetea at least three times, with at least one visit extending late into the night. And on the day of their departure for Hong Kong, Hye Kyo was able to walk through the airport undetected, thanks to Joong Ki who was the recipient of stalkerazzi attention. After their Hong Kong press con, it seemed they managed to have time alone together after dinner, as their whole entourage exited the restaurant through the front door. They hung back and (later) chummed it up with the chef

Yeah, yeah, we know all these, but obviously, we sometimes have to be reminded because once in a while, a few Panic Patties pop up and overreact. The point is that even the most famous actors find innovative ways to maintain their privacy and still have a life---even a love life---and the Songs have Lee Kwang Soo, Yoo Ah In, and their friends from Studio Concrete to help them.
Seventh, remember the saying, 'Absence makes the heart grow fonder.' When they are apart for long periods of time, they probably feel more for each other as they'll miss everything about the other. If the Songs' bond is strong, then, they'll have more appreciation for those moments of togetherness in between commitments. And if the Songs didn't value their connection, then, I don't think they would have bothered to make time for each other even months after filming for DOTS has wrapped up.
Eighth, if their attraction/connection is profound, their basis of mutual interest is solid and broad, and the trust in each other is intact, then those should be more than enough to keep them going despite their schedules.
All these positives could really be summed up in one statement: If the Songs treasure their relationship, then, they’ll find a way to make it work.

This is such a cute show.
Basically the show is based on people having an issue that they want to resolve with someone else. In this episode it's two friends, friend 2 is angry with friend 1 because friend 1 insists that she looks like SHK and friend 2 is sick and tired of hearing this.
So the show is allowing the two of them to talk about their issue and then the students sitting in the hall will do a vote and resolve the issue.
Friend 2 - Because of you, we're all stressed!
Friend 1 - Why?
Friend 2 - What do you mean why... from which angle do you resemble SHK?
Friend 1 - Look at me carefully, from the top of my head to my toes - I'm SHK!.
(*students in the crowd getting mad at friend 1 for comparing herself with Kyo..lol)
MC 1 - For your ID picture you used SHK's picture.
MC 2 - waaah (*he's amazed at her being brazen enough to do so..lol)
