Why is the story about hospital?
Shin PD: I think I have to explain a little bit why we choose the drama with hospital background. Most of the dramas that Lee Woo Jung Writer and I made together are always a simple and capture normal things in life. But then we realized we always have hospital scenes in every projects. That's why there're also comments from the viewers 'they should have make a hospital drama story' something like that and so as the answer to that comment, we both think, 'how about we talk about hospital stories?' and that's how we started this drama. If you wonder why we put so many hospital scenes inside the drama, it's because the most normal and extreme moments happen inside the hospital. These days almost everyone born and died inside the hospital. We're thinking of telling the stories about the people and environment of it. As many of you have realized it from reading the scripts, there's no a big thrilling and exciting moments or plots and there aren't genius doctors or amazing stories of saving the patients. We just tell a normal, simple and small stories as we always do. And those stories, even if it's short and a normal stories, and to show how powerful those stories are today we gathered with the actors who can deliver it well. I hope during today's script reading, the people who are present right now in this place will be moved by the stories as well.Sept 23 2019 Official script reading
Dae Myung arrives first and reads through the official script while waiting for others. Mi Do arrives and he asks if she ate. She says that she only eat one roll of kimbap and she wished she brought some snacks with her. Mi Do finds out about the camera between her and Dae Myung. She finds it interesting to find it on the table during their script reading that day. They talk that they're not used with the official scripts (it looked different with the one they had before the official script reading. Up until they saw the official script, they didn't belief the tittle of the drama is Wise Hospital Life. Mi Do is amazed with many actors that joined the official script reading that day.Mi Do excitedly greets someone who just came. It's Hyun Been. They only met two times but has gotten closer. They immediately stand up to greet someone. It's Senior Actress Kim Hae Sook. Shin PD shows his gratitude for Hae Sook to accept and act in this drama. Hae Sook tells him that she's thankful that he picked her. Mi Do and Dae Myung are still waiting for her to be seated and stand there politely (it's the way of showing respects to the elders or people whom you respect). Hae Sook doesn't want them to feel uncomfortable around her and ask them to sit down comfortably. Hae Sook feels nervous. Kim Jun Han greets Kim Hae Sook whom he worked with in a film (Herstory). Hae Sook feels happy for him and his acting careers. After that it's Yeon Seok's turns to greet her. At first she doesn't recognize him because of his hairstyle. He cut his sides hair because at that time he was shooting for Steel Rain 2: Summit (Mi Do and Dae Myung are just smiling silently while watching the interactions. Shin PD caption for them, outsiders LOL).
Yeon Seok sees Moon Sung and greets him happily. They work together in musical Hedwig. (Previously Yeon Seok couldn't join their first meeting because of filming schedule). He excitedly asks about Moon Sung's role. Next person arrives and It's Kyung Ho. He greets Mi Do and Dae Myung with smile while shaking hands with Jun Han. He also greets Seo Jin Won whom he probably have worked together before. He immediately moves to greets Hae Sook (look how sweet Kyung Ho greets Hae Sook by kissing her hand softly) Hae Sook thanks him for sending her a coffee and snacks truck to her filming site. She says that he really looks like his father. She watched his recent dramas (When Devil's call your name) and his old version really reminds her of his father. More actors have arrived. Kyung Ho greets his fellow Prison Playbook actors and same-aged friend Choi Young Woo. While waiting, Hae Sook jokes with Yeon Seok if their seating position is based on age (since she sat at the first for near the director and writer). Yeon Seok says it's not because among the main characters, he is the youngest. Staffs calling Yeon Seok's name and he greets them happily. They have worked together previously during Reply 1994. Mi Do then quietly whispers to Dae Myung that there are more staffs who are present than the actors for today's script reading. She feels nervous because both of them will start the reading. Dae Myung tries to comfort her but both are really nervous.
Kyung Ho suddenly remembers about the dried poilack he brought home from their previous meetings. He's saving the last dried pollack he had. Dae Myung tells him to finish eating that and he will bring more for him. Yeon Seok who came back to his seats greets Hyun Been for the first time. At the same time Eun Jin approach Mi Do and Dae Myung to greets them, especially Mi Do who is her senior in musical world. Last but not least, Jung Seok arrives. He greets Hae Sook and moves closer to shake hands but stop when Writer Lee also want to exchange greetings with Hae Sook. Writer Lee really wanted Kim Hae Sook to play as Rosa. Hae Sook says she will just act comfortably and Writer Lee assures her to do that. Hae Sook before talked with Shin PD and Shin PD says she can just act like her character in movie Thieves. Hae Sook says she is a big fan of Shin PD that's why she feels nervous. Shin PD gives spoiler that in the later episodes she might have to act cute in several scenes. Hae Sook assures them that she can do all of that. She's prepared to do from acting as villain to cute person.
Jung Seok looks around and surprised to see Eun Jin. He shares with Shin PD that he's amazed with Eun Jin's acting in Strangers from Hell. Shin PD reveals Eun Jin will play as Min Ha. Jung Seok shares his amazement that this script reading is the fullest one he has so far. Yeon Seok too ask why there are so many people (while Kyung Ho is greeting Writer Lee affectionately). Mi Do asks if it's normal to have script reading with many people while Dae Myung asks if they are filming a prank. Lastly, almost at the last line there is Kwak Sun Young who doesn't have to join the script reading but still come. Her attention falls with Kim Joon. When the script reading is almost started, Shin PD approached Sun Young. He wants to keep Ik Sun's identity hidden since she has no scenes in ep 1 ~ 3. He asks how about he will introduce her later during their team dinners later that night and maybe she can wait outside for a moment until the reading is over. Sun Young says she doesn't mind waiting inside and in the end she decides to greet Writer Lee before she waits outside. Mi Do keeps glancing at Sun Young who is her classmates. Sun Young on her way out whispers that she will wait outside to Mi Do. She says goodbye to Kim Joon while wishing him to do well in the script reading. (that's why Sun Young is not in the picture of script reading). At last the script reading begin.
(I will skip this script reading part, since by now I think most of us probably have remembered all the scenes right?
I will just share some interesting things I found during their script reading)
- Shin PD introduce himself and ask for a big applause for Writer Lee who worked hard preparing the scripts. He then introduced a new format of the drama. Airs once a week, will have 12 episodes and planned as seasonal drama. While he wished they can produce a seasonal drama, it all depends to the viewers reaction but he and Writer Lee just hopes the drama can at the very least continue to season 2. After that he introduce every one of actors that is present. The last actor he introduced is Kim Joon and he starts by saying 'Our drama mascots, Lee Woo Joo' and all actors and staffs are focusing on Kim Joon. In the end because Kim Joon bursts in tears.
- Shin PD as always play many roles from patients to hospital staff. That day he asks Kim Soo Jin's (Head Nurse Song) help in reading several characters and she has to read various characters consecutively with different emotions. He apologized to her for not thinking correctly while asking her help. Everyone laughs about that- During the scenes where Ik Joon, Seok Hyeong and Jung Won talk about persuading Song Hwa to join the band, Mi Do playfully glares at Jung Seok when he talk that Song Hwa is totally a tone deaf and took her 5 years to properly play bass guitar.
- Aloha scenes. Everyone laugh when the other boys sing the chorus part 'I believe'

Hospital Playlist Special Throwback Episode 11
The first meeting of 99z as known as Dinosaur Ridge (referring to the group chat name that they use in the drama)
Summary of the scenes (while waiting for the sub to be uploaded)
- We've seen that 99z are quite close in the making scenes, laughing together and have fun all the time. But... their first meeting isn't like that...
- JMD arrived first and practicing alone while waiting for others. August 17 2019 was the first script reading between the main characters. YYS soon arrived and they talked about how YYS mentioned her to Shin PD. She was thankful to him because his words played a big part in the production team decided to cast her. YYS said JJS too would do the same.
- Not long, KDM arrived and YYS left for his individual meeting with the production team. He and JMD talked about their experiences practicing with their own musical instruments. Soon, JKH also came to join them. The three of them were quite shy and awkward since it's their first time meeting with each other. Mostly they only talked about small conversation and ended with silence all over again. Several topics that they had small talks about, their dinner plan after the reading rehearsal, their hospital visit experience (to observe and practice), their progress in practicing for the band performance (At this time we're shown each members practicing for song 'Introduce Me to a Good Person), their wishes for the drama to do well and have a good work atmosphere.
- JKH and KDM have watched JMD's musical performance (JKH Maybe Happy Ending, KDM MD's debut musical Mr. Mouse)
- At last, JJS came and the atmosphere has turned to become brighter with his cheerful greetings. Soon they start to get ready for the reading rehearsal.
That's how the five of us became friends.

Happy Ending for every one
We have 3 years of timeskip.
Na Hee and Gyu Jin became the proud parents of fraternal twins. Gyu Jin loves his son too much that he can't be separated with them too long, especially now that the children are starting their day in the kindergarten. They still argue with each others but at the end of day, they keep their promise to talk with each other about what they upset and try to talk about it
SpoilerDa Hee and Jae Seok, the first day of their honeymoon trip didn't go according to what Da Hee wishes, but as long as they are together, they are happy. 3 years after their marriage, they moved out from Yoon Jeong's house but the sweet Da Hee will always worry about her mother-in-law. Da Hee has graduated and join the hospital where Yoon brothers and Na Hee works. She can finally work the job that she's been dreaming of.
SpoilerGa Hee and Hyo Shin both still dating happily with each other. Ga Hee has become a successful online shopping mall while Hyo Shin has won his gold medal and busy. They too aren't afraid to reveal about their dating to the public (in this case in front of Ga Hee's co-worker)
SpoilerJoon Seon and the boys get many offers and Good Action Company even open a recruitment for new members. The boys still happily dating with the kimbap girls. The girls no longer work with Young Suk, but in the nail art shop.
Ok Ja and Chi Su also get married while Young Suk has become the new chairwoman for the market association. She is still having a good relationship with the director, but haven't had any thoughts for marriage.

How Do You Play has several projects that have been done by Yoo Jae Seok as the main character. He got several persona. For last summer, he did a mixed group project with Lee Hyo Ri and Rain, bringing back the 90s feels of K-music. The reason I was excited of the project because I missed their interactions during the old days in variety show (Family Outing).
Hmm several variety show did last for several episodes only or a seasonal project. For example is Three Meals A Day by Na Young Suk PD. It has several episodes and sometimes with a different casts for different season.
I did watch WGM, especially during the season 2

My September is sure going to be busier than last month...
Last month after finishing It's Okay to not be Okay, I only have one drama that I follow, Once Again which will air its last episode tomorrow... As it is a weekend drama, I have my up and downs for the last 6 months but it sure did make my weekend more colorful.
Other than drama, I have to say goodbye to a summer project group SSAK3, which was a project group for variety show How do you play? I was really happy for the last 3 months and looked forward Saturday so much because of them (other than Saturday is a weekend, of course
)
For the new release drama, so far I have watched Alice, Do You Like Brahms, Lie After Lie and I quite like them all. I plan to watch Record of Youth under my currently watching list. And from the premier, Oh Samgwang Villa looks interesting too. I'm going to be busy indeed

Video started with the making scenes when Chi Hong is talking with ER Nurse about the patient who wants to leave the hospital even when in bad condition. Kim Jun Han said his lines too serious.
Shin PD: Wait! The drama will be in mess~ We will start again with a comic (comedic) version. Okay Cue! (and KJH executed his act with a more funny expression than before)Aug 16 2019, First meeting with Kim Jun Han.
- Shin PD asked where KJH military base when he was doing his military duty. . KJH served in YangYang, Gangwon Province. He was in Engineering Corps and act as the administration for the military transportation. (His real life military is very different from Captain Ahn Chi Hong)
- The reason why Shin PD asked for a meeting with him, Shin is wondering what if KJH played a different role from his previous one (Spring Night). In his previous drama, he play a character that is... a little bit a loser (KJH laughed while admitted it). Shin PD said he did it so well that his character probably got a lot of curse from the viewers. When Shin PD look from several of his filmography, other than Prison Playbook, most of the characters that he played so far are characters with a loser personality (Shin PD recently watch his work Sunset in My Hometown) and Shin PD thought maybe KJH somehow like to play that kind of character. KJH admitted it shyly. Shin PD mentioned another film of his (Anarchist from Colony) which in there his character also give a slight feeling of a loser. KJH then explained that actually he's thinking that he shouldn't really portray his character like a real man but the opposite of it, maybe a little bit cool. Shin PD joked that rather than looking cool he portrayed another side. KJH said he only acted as what the script says but maybe there's a loser side that come out when he acted. Shin PD said it was his charm and quite fun.
- They are talking about his character in Prison Playbook. He appeared only for a short time. His character was a little bit mean but it also suited him well. Shin PD even wondered if KJH true personality is like that since he did it almost like a natural. (We're shown short scenes of Prison Playbook where KJH appeared)
Shin PD felt that after Spring Night, KJH will get many offers soon (KJH asked his manager whether it's true or not) and Shin PD felt that he will be good for playing as a character he has in mind. KJH hesitated whether he can do well and Shin PD said that's why he asked for a meeting with him. Before they rehearse ACH lines, Shin PD wants him to read several characters first. (Yong Seok Min, Do Jae Hak and after that Ahn Chi Hong lines. Most happened in Episode 2)
- After finishing the lines, Shin PD revealed that he wanted him to play as ACH. Shin PD explained a little bit about ACH. ACH will have a kind of love line, he has a crush with Professor named Song Hwa. His character has a warm-like crush and a calm and cool development at the same time. ACH will only appear in season 1. (T_T) Shin PD explained since ACH won't continue appear in other season so he doesn't want to burden KJH with a goal for seasonal drama. He wish KJH can act well and will have a cool exist. But then during their meeting KJH keep laughing and Shin PD felt maybe they need to revise a bit about his character. KJH laughed hard at this comment.
- Shin PD added that acting as Ahn Chi Hong can help his career too when they compare it to his current filmography. He can also show that he's quite a good actor. They will meet soon after some period of thinking.
- Before ending their meeting, Shin PD asked about his ability to play drum. (KJH is a former drummer of band izi). Shin PD said if he did join, maybe he can give some pointers (to YYS). We're shown that KJH is having fun at SHyeong basement room where the band instruments is set. He's awkward at first since it's been a while since he played the drum, but he showed his skills that made everyone watching praised him (including YYS and YYS's drummer teacher. YYS requested him to show a solo drum performance)Aug 29 2019, second meeting with Kim Jun Han
- They have confirmed his casting through phone before the 2nd meeting. Shin PD wants him to play Ahn Chi Hong because they need an impact (?) for that character. Shin also wanted KJH to play a normal character for once. Shin PD introduced ACH background. ACH comes from military academy and reached a captain position. He doesn't have to act really stiff but he can show it a little from his way of speaking but also soft at the same time. KJH finally get his script as ACH. Shin PD said that he will succeed when there's a comment that he's quite good.- At that time, they're currently waiting for the premiere of film Beasts Clawing at Straws, and Shin PD asked about his character in there (he played as an antagonist). That film will be the 3rd project he did with Shin Hyun Been. Shin PD asked if he knew Jeon Mi Do and KJH said he didn't really know him. Other than Jung Kyung Ho and SHB, he doesn't really know other actors.
At the first script reading
KJH was sitting between KDM and Choi Young Joon (Dr Bong) and he felt awkward because he doesn't really know them well. He saw that SHB sit near JKH and quite far from his sitting place. He moved to speak with them and say his greetings to JMD and Jung Moon Sung.
SHB: What's wrong?
KJH: It's nothing. I just come here because I knew you
SHB: *laughed*
KJH: Can I sit here?
SHB: Sure you can
JKH: Are you sure both of you knew each other?
SHB: Yeah, we're quite close
JKH: Ah really?
KJH: (to JMD) My name is Kim Jun Han
JMD: Yes, I have seen you a lot on TV, while I'm still a rookie (in TV). It's our first time to meet with others like this. How do both of you know each other (question to SHB and KJH)?
SHB&KJH: We have acted in the same movie twice
SHB: But we haven't got any chance to meet each other outside the projects
JMD: You are going to play dr Bong character, right? (to KJH)
KJH: No, dr Ahn. I will play as Ahn Chi Hong
JMD: dr Ahn? Chi Hong... Do you mean as Chi Hong? I thought you're going to play another characterShin PD said that KJH has the type who won't just act according to what purely written in the scripts, so it will give fresh feelings. Shin PD requested as the scripts is still written, he hoped KJH can design Ahn Chi Hong character well.
That's how Kim Jun Han became Ahn Chi Hong.
And...
KJH: Our filming set is famous where the staffs and actors were having good time while filming. And I felt that we've become really close with each others. I also have acted in Prison Playbook and I have worked twice with the same staffs and somehow I think I've become like a family with the staffs? I think I'll miss it a lot.
Q: To Kim Jun Han, Ahn Chi Hong is?
KJH: Ahn Chi Hong is like Bailey (?) I keep wondering what kind of character he is. Whenever I received the script, I keep getting surprised with his character. What is this? Huh? There is this kind of scene? The script is always something that surprised me.Q: The most memorable scene?
KJH: I think it is the scene where the it get much love from the viewers, when it's raining at the camping ground and Ahn Chi Hong went to meet with Prof Chae Song Hwa. I have heard a lot (comments) about that scenes. That scenes was filmed where it was supposed to be raining quite heavily. Actually filming that scene was quite hard. We were on tight schedule to film that scene. The sun was setting and we had to really focus to film that scene. And Shin PD did a magic with creating the scene look beautiful in the drama. But when we're shooting that scenes, the staffs commented whether it's a filming for a murderer scene or not. What is the genre for this scene? And then Shin PD said to everyone, 'It's a melodrama everyone, melodrama'. I wonder if there's a making scene for that scenes?
(We're shown making scenes for the drama)Q: Last one. Anything that you want to say?
KJH: Chi Hong is... Eh why do I talk to Chi Hong by Chi Hong? Uh... dr Ahn Chi Hong won't appear in season 2, but I (Kim Jun Han) will become viewers and will cheer for the drama from the sides. Chi Hong is probably will be somewhere, becoming Chief Resident while also living his life. I'll be grateful if you can cheer for his character like that. And if one day Chi Hong is needed, Chi Hong will always ready. I'll be ready to join whenever I needed so... I feel sad now that I'm leaving. Thank you so much. I think this will be too sad, why do I keep saying something sad? Well... Really I will miss it a lot and I will visit the shooting place. I will visit and yeah... I will come to cheer the team.

Confirmed. Na Hee is pregnant
The last scene in last week episodes, where Na Hee lost her consciousness was a false alarm. She was alright but couldn't eat because of nausea. Before she went home, she did have a sudden craving for bread and banana milk the next day at the office.
Da Hee and Jae Seok are preparing for their wedding and have a little fight about house choices. Da Hee suggested for them to live at Yun Jeong house until she graduated

Hospital Playlist Special Throwback Episode 8. Eun Jin-a, you will become a good Min Ha
- April 24 2019, first meeting with Ahn Eun Jin. Shin PD read aloud her profile. She's born in 1991 and graduated from Korea National University (acting major). Shin PD saw AEJ when he's watching My Fellow Citizen (KBS,2019) and felt familiar about her and thought that she's quite good. Shin PD and his staff have seen her before for her performance in Judo Boy. AEJ debuted in 2012 and has been active in theater (play and musical) for about 7 years before debut in TV. Her height is 168 cm.
- Shin PD asked if she's a bright person and AEJ confirmed it. Shin found her specialty that she has written is unique which is singing/dancing/doing sports. Based on that he thinks AEJ is a bright and cheerful person. AEJ used to be in a soccer team during her elementary days and also played badminton for her role in Judo Boys. Shin asked if she learned to dance and AEJ explained she dances freely because she has lots of energy. While she's on break, she found it hard to keep it in and dancing is her way to release the excess energy.
- AEJ did an audition by playing Ji Ho, a character from Prison Playbook. (During one scene, AEJ walked away while saying her lines. In the script it was written about what Ji Ho has to do but it was the first time for anyone who rehearsed the line and really acting the gestures like AEJ did. The caption showed that Shin PD is impressed and she passed for the bright character. Then moved to an emotional scenes where Ji Ho has to visit Jae Hyuk who was serving his sentence inside the prison. She nailed it too. We're shown the close up version of Chu Min Ha for emotional acting with Seok Hyung.)
- Shin PD asked if AEJ has aegyo (can act cute). She shared her difficulties for her playing her role in My Fellow Citizen because it's so contrast with her real personality who likes to have fun and chatty. Shin PD asked again if she can act cute or not. She said it's embarrassing for herself to say that she can act cute. Shin PD fishes some answers "how about with your boyfriend?" "Oh yeah, I do act cute often." "How about with your parents?" "Sometimes, when I'm feeling happy. I do act cute a lot except when I am working."
- September 18 2019, second meeting with AEJ. It's been 5 months since their last meeting. He has been thinking a lot and heard she was casted in another drama so at first he wanted to give up due the schedule conflicts. But, just in case Shin PD hold the second meeting to hear from AEJ side and if she agreed, they can adjust the filming to match with her schedule. The production team wanted her to play as Chu Min Ha.
That's how Ahn Eun Jin who is like Chu Min Ha became Chu Min Ha who's like Ahn Eun Jin.

- Shin and JMS talked about their previous project together (Prison Playbook). They talked that at that time they couldn't enjoy or get closer because JMS joined the drama in the middle of airing and his character at that time was quite heavy and dark and felt like an outcast. JMS's character had to cry in front of many people (in front of his brother, to the mother of his brother's friend and in front of his friend). This time, he will play a bright kind of character, Do Jae Hak.
- June 13 2019. 1st meeting with JMS. During PP, JMS was quite busy juggling between the shooting schedule and his own performance and Shin couldn't build a closer relationship with him. Shin told him how he had this perceptive about JMS because of his previous character in PP. But when he talked with YYS and when JMS's name is mentioned, YYS said JMS is a funny man and JMS admitted it. Shin asked about what kind of person JMS is. JMS says that he enjoys everything when he works or having fun. He'd make many jokes because he dislikes awkward atmosphere. He himself thinks that he is a funny person. In PP, he joined late and couldn't mix with the casts that well. He's not overboard with his actions, but people can feel his funny side when they're talking with him.
- Shin asks JMS what his dating style. JMS says when he was younger, he didn't really know love so he would refer to dramas, movies and especially songs. He would feel connection with the lyrics and learned about love through it. He likes to make people laugh.
- JMS has done lots of play and musicals for the last 13 years with varieties of characters, from human to not human (like a dog) and robot (the one he did with JMD Maybe Happy Ending). He can almost make every character he plays to match with him and make it alive.
- JMS auditioned for IJ's line (conversation with JGW) and JWan's line. (I really enjoy this part a lot). After finishing his lines, Shin said now he now about JMS better and no longer misunderstood him.
- September 3 2019. 2nd Meeting with JMS. Both the production and JMS hard to meet because of JMS's packed schedule. Shin explained about Do Jae Hak character to JMS. He wants JMS to design the character Do Jae Hak as he see it fits. DJH is a resident who only has one age different with the professor who is in charge of him (JWan) because he entered the medical school quite late if compared with others. JH is a hardworking doctor but always get scolded, but he is still a bright person. Later JH personal life will have it appearances in the drama.
- JMS then did his lines while conversing with the twins. (We can see how he styled the character JH to his own).
- Shin said many people said good things about JMS and he himself can feel that JMS is a great person and fits with what he looks for. They sealed the deal and welcome JMS as Do Jae Hak.
- They talk about his relationship with the main 5. He is close with all of them. He has done a project with JJS and YYS (Musical Hedwig), appeared in 2 dramas with JKH (Cruel City and Prison Playbook), close with JMD (done several projects with her, the most memorable one musical Maybe Happy Ending) and knew KDM because they often meet at the subway and taking the same line. JMD especially says to Shin that she really likes acting with JMS. (Then we're shown the cut clips of JMS self cam. He 'disturbed' JMD who wanted to rest before her scenes and jokes with her.) Shin said JKH will play JWan, DJH's professor and he couldn't wait to see their chemistry. (We saw how JMS and JKH rehearsing their lines)
- Shin shares his worries whether the season 1 will be successful or not. He wishes at the very least, the show can lasts to season 2. JMS said he will do his best to help them and would even 'risk' his life to do it.

Hospital Playlist Throwback Special Ep 6 Winter(Gyeo Wool) has come~
Quick Summary (rough translations)
- July 25 2019 1st meeting with SHB. Shin Hyun Been birth name is Kwak Hyun Been and she's born in 1986. She often gets misunderstood for having Park as her family name. (There's a trot singer name Park Hyun Bin, that's why there's suddenly a song played in the background). Shin PD asked about when she debuted (10 years ago in 2010). She debuted as an actress right after she finished her graduation. She majored in Art Theory which Shin commented that he haven't met with people who graduated from that major. SHB explained why she chose that major but realized that she's not talented enough to purse a different career.
- We're shown the scene where GW is explaining to the patient's guardian with picture. We're also shown her actual notes before the filming start about that particular scene, drawn by SHB herself.
- SHB shares about her filmography. She debuted in film He's on Duty (2011) where she played as Vietnamese character. Shin saw her for the first time at drama Confession (tvn 2019). He thought that she's a newbie actress because he's never seen her before but actually she's already debuted for 10 years.
- SHB is the only child. She's a little bit confused when asked about her personality. She says she's quite bright and rather than act cute, she's more playful and likes to joke.
- Shin asked one of his team to give SHB the GW's script for her to read. Shin explained a little bit about GW's character. She is a blunt and a little bit cold but not a bad person. After she finished then they will rehearse that particular scene together. (Personally I think she really matched well with JGW's tone and flow of speech. But, maybe because I'm already familiar with JGW as hers too.) She also tried to play her part as Heo Sun Bin (the resident from NS).
- August 20 2019, third meeting with SHB. Shin and Lee together met with SHB before finalizing her character. She rehearse GW's part she had done again. Lee says she want SHB to play GW's role.
- Shin shares that he never thought that GW is a hard character until he auditioned for GW's role for some time. SHB too admitted that playing GW is quite hard, based on the script she read. Lee explained that at first GW might be look as a cold, blunt and straight person. She might look bad but gradually GW will grown to be a better doctor and character. At first Shin wanted the actress who would take GW role is a rookie actress who aren't well known yet to the public. Lee explained that in the first few episodes, she will only appear for a short time when the story focused on the main 5 and she doesn't want to make SHB to feel upset.
- Shin also explained that among the main 5, GW will interact a lot with 2 among the 5, IJ and JWon. GW and IJ will have quite a close relationship who can banter back and forth with each other. GW will have romantic relationship with Prof JWon. GW is also quite straightforward about her like and love but very innocent and can't hide what she likes and dislikes. Lee asked if SHB knew or ever met with YYS and SHB says she doesn't know him. Shin says the romantic part won't be the focused but it will be there and this drama is planned as a seasonal drama.
- Lee shares her concern about GW's appearance when SHB is a pretty woman. She wanted to make the character to look as real as possible (means almost no make up for the character). SHB shares that she did act with bare face or almost no make up when she starred in Confession.
- Shin also asked if she's afraid of bugs and SHB says no. Lee show her relief. SHB asked why and Lee only said there will be scene in the future about that. SHB said she could catch mosquitoes well.
- The last thing, they made sure that she knew that there's a possibility for this drama as a seasonal drama. And with that they shake hands to finalize her casting as JGW.

JS and DH
SpoilerDH first reaction after hearing JS proposing to her is that she freaks out. She was so surprised and take a step back from him. JS took her aside and told her his reason for wanting to marry her. He points out he's changed his mind about his wish to stay unmarried since he met her. DH told him her worries, she still have long way until she graduated, not to mention it hasn't been long since her annulment and the hurt she gave to her parents. JS gave her more time to think carefully.
SpoilerJS is waiting for DH to call him but the call won't come. DH looks like want to accept JS proposal. But she had a lot in her mind. She did imagine how her sweet life with JS after they married, but then she afraid with how her parents will react when she asked for their approval for marriage.
SpoilerJS is the one who call DH out for them to talk. DH still don't know about her answer to JS. JS gave something to help her. He gave many certificates (his studies achievement, his doctor, his toeic score, his health check up, his bank book). But among of many papers, the one that touches DH the most is his pledge or plan (?) to her. He writes his promises that even after they married, he won't hinder her studies and will put it as their first priority.
SpoilerThey need the encouragement from alcohol before they can reveal their status to others. After both seemed to drink enough, DH led JS to her home, to let her parents know about their relationship and asking for approval for their marriage.
The family is enjoying their watermelon when DH ring the bell before she entered. She brought JS over and both on their knee ask for YD and OB permission for marriage. Well not really ask, they kind of demand for them to approve their wish to marry each other.
GJ and NH
SpoilerGJ bought NH some coffee and bread for their breakfast. They're having a great time before their juniors came. They pretended to argue about their studies. The junior pitying GJ, plans to introduce GJ to his cousin noona.
SpoilerGJ is excited to finish his outpatients and want to have lunch date with NH but got dragged away by his junior. He forced GJ to have a blind date with his cousin in the hospital cafeteria. NH who is waiting for GJ to read her message, found him talking with another woman. GJ flustered when he saw NH even spilled his drink. He chased and explained to NH that he was forced to have a blind date. NH pouted and huffing but she actually just teasing him. Although she did glare to the junior who set up the blind date.
SpoilerGJ wants to make up his mistakes, awkwardly ask NH for dinner, but NH refused because she is invited to the opening party of CY kimbap store. She still put an act that she's angry with GJ and GJ seemed lost. When he meet with the junior, he almost choke him. He threaten the junior to not talk or care about GJ well being anymore.
They make up and have a date near Gangnam river. They eat chicken and beer. GJ refused to drink the beer because he need to drive NH home after their date. GJ rest his head on NH's lap and talk that he really appreciate their time like this. He also apologized to her, that before he accepted her divorce, he had hurt her with his word (by admitting that she was at fault about her miscarriage). NH accepted his apology with a quick kiss. Surprised with her action, GJ sit up and look at NH. Then they have a good kiss over the sunset view.
