    Can you imagine? Luoyin during those 8 years in the military, away from Guhai. Not knowing if Guhai is still waiting for him, not knowing if Guhai is well. And on a cold, lonely night, he's sitting outside staring up at the stars and thinking:

He usually made it a point to never bring work home—they were both busy as it was and rarely got to spend time together save for a few hours in the evening each day—but suddenly the workload had doubled, then tripled, and he had been left with no choice but to drag home manila folders full of assignments. Guhai hadn’t said anything at the sight of them, just raised an eyebrow in confusion, but merely smiled when Luoyin shot him a nervous look.

    He’d been hoping that the workload would decrease after a month, but here he was, six weeks later, and still slaving away at home at 11:30PM. It wasn’t that he couldn’t handle the work—because he could—but it seemed to be affecting them more than it was affecting him.

    Guhai had initially been unconcerned about the work, still messing around with him at night. That was, until one particularly stressful night, Luoyin had gently but firmly removed his husbands hands from his body and explained that he really needed to get this work done for tomorrow and he didn't have time to fool around. Since that incident, whenever Guhai saw those documents on the nightstand before bed—which was every night—he hadn’t insisted on doing anything…extra…and now spent his time before bed on his phone doing…whatever it was he had opted to turn to.

    Luoyin bit his lip, idly fingering the papers in his hands as he watched the other male sigh and click his phone screen off, setting it on the nightstand and settling in, seemingly about to call it a night. The shorter male turned back to the work in his hands, considering. I really do need to have this done for tomorrow’s meeting…

    The words and numbers swam in front his eyes for a moment, dazing him, before his gaze hardened. No, no. This could want until tomorrow. He pulled open the nightstand drawer and shoved the documents in, carelessly tossing his pen and other stationary in there as well and shutting it close quietly before turning back to his husband who looked like he was already asleep.

    But Luoyin knew better. The slight crease marring his husband’s forehead and the small frown on those thin lips gave the other away. Guhai was listening, perhaps even waiting. With a small smile, Luoyin loosened the knot on his bathrobe and let the material slide off his body, tossing it onto the floor as he pulled the covers back and joined his husband in bed. It was so warm and he was tempted to let out a satisfied groan as the warmth seeped into his naked skin and relaxed him. He hadn’t slept well in so long.

    For a moment, he simply stared down at the other, watching him in the soft glow of bedroom lights. Guhai looked tired, his dark circles a bit more prominent in this lighting, but a twitch of his lips hinted at anticipation—and excitement. Luoyin pursed his lips, trying to contain an amused chuckle. How had he gone six weeks without this man?

    He laced his fingers together and rest them on top of Guhai’s chest, propping his chin there and looking down at his husband—waiting. He found himself further relaxing with the rise and fall of the other's chest, the quickly increasing heart rate—that matched his own—which he could feel beneath his palm even through the bathrobe. After several moments, Guhai finally opened his eyes. His gaze was as warm as his body. “Hi.”

    Guhai's voice came out deep, husky. Turned on. 

    Luoyin’s breath hitched, eyes darkening as a strong, bathrobe-clad arm wrapped around his nude body, a rough, bare hand making its way down to slide over the curve of his butt. He smiled, suddenly feeling a bit breathless as his husband's entirely too masculine presence and scent completely surrounded him—enveloped him. He smelled musky, heady, with a hint of coffee.

    “Hi.”

    Ah, been gone just a few days and already so many new faces. Unfortunately I won't be around here as often anymore. Back to being busy dancing, composing music, other things, and simply because I'm (fortunately) no longer as addicted to Addicted anymore. Finally. I'll occasionally drop by to talk to some people, but more likely I'll just lurk around or drop a piece of writing (like now) until I'm officially over this series ^_^ Hope everyone is well and stays well.

    Despite the fact that I don't ship them, here's some ambiguous advice: If you tell yourself something long enough, it starts to become the truth in your mind. Interpret that how you wish to, as it can be seen from various angles, for both shippers and non-shippers ^_^

    #delulu off: We don't know if Jingyu sang that song for anyone. No one does, except perhaps himself and his manager. Perhaps he just sang it for himself. We can come up with theories about it being for ZZ, and the other fans can come up with theories about it being for an ex-girlfriend. Everyone's entitled to their own speculations here, so long as we don't bash each other and claim that each other's claims are absolutely ridiculous - EVEN if you think another's speculations/claims are ridiculous. Because we wouldn't want a bunch of people coming in and calling us delusional, telling us we're wasting our time, that we're a hopeless bunch of fans, etc. right? Treat others how you wish to be treated and respect each other's opinions ^_^ At least for the sake of maintaining the peace of this thread, because there are some threads where people bash every non-shipper's opinion and personally, I don't find that okay.

    Hi! As I don't claim to be an expert on politics, I'm just going to quickly address the bolded. Western news is biased, but it does hold fact. And it is a fact that oceans exist. If China is polluting water, this water is likely to someday run into the ocean and oceans belong to no one. We are all affected by what happens to our oceans. And coincidentally enough, there was an article today titled:

    Apocalypse now! Alarming images of a Chinese waterway that turned BLOOD RED due to illegal waste discharge

    I'm not here to argue, but let's not pretend that air and water pollution (regardless of which country does the polluting) don't affect other nations. We don't acknowledge that it does, example being how we don't acknowledge the damage Japan's nuclear power plant has had on marine life, but it's a problem that's very much real and, in my opinion, should be more acknowledged. Like you pointed out, it's not just China that has problems. All other nations do as well, but we also shouldn't ignore that China indeed does have problems.

    Okay, back to the novel/series/actors! ^_^

    Critical thoughts regarding ZZ's musical career/singing ahead:

    I really wish Enlight and ZZ's management would just pull ZZ aside for an extended period of time and actually teach him how to sing. This is obviously a personal opinion, but I really don't think he can. He sings like anyone else who's an average singer at karaoke. There's nothing outstanding about his singing, and his voice doesn't seem to suit his metal/rock preference either, which became very clear to me when I heard his live at the FM. I understand that music is a hobby of his, as he's stated, but the way his management and Enlight are approaching it, they're making it out to be more than a hobby and now more like an actual career path. If that's the case, they should really teach him how to properly sing before throwing him into producing an album and singing for OSTs. I get that now is the right time to dish out an album because he's popular right now and the album will get sells regardless of whether or not it's actually good, but I don't think it bodes well for his future in music (and his appeal to potential future fans) to have a very amateur sounding first album. I liked Walk Slowly a lot, but everything after that left me slightly cringing, and the OST is the worst I've heard so far (aside from that live rock performance he did at the FM). It just seems like they're having him sing and sing without making any actual improvements regarding his singing capabilities. I just wish they would clear his schedule or make room for him to meet with a legitimate vocal coach before trying to promote him and milk money from him though music.

    If I weren't a fan, and just a random person, and heard this OST, I would be completely dumbfounded as to why they're using it.

     Just to voice out my opinion. I think WZ is a sleeping tiger type. He can be really aggressive to someone he likes at the right circumstances (I don't know how to make the words appear smaller or put a line above it, I am such a newbie.  I just want to say that the circumstance mean in bed.). 

    My conclusion come from when they were filming the car kiss scene. Wz such an active participant. He didn't just lay there waiting for huang jingyu lips to touch his. He lift up his head and pursued Jingyu's lips himself (such thirst WZ ;) ), also when the bedroom when he was being on top. He literally savour huang jingyu . :D the poor man underneath him struggling everywhere to get away from him but his lips keep chasing him. (He even bit Jingyu's lips. Dragging it oh so sensually. I think  WZ is a good kisser. They should really filming slow motion kisses between these two.)

    also I notice his aggressive nature when I see the walk slowly MV. At the end of the song when the only thing we can see about their activity in the tent through the light of the fire. I See huang jingyu shadow want to rise from weizhou body after theis oh so abruptly laying on the sand floor kiss (they should do it slowly. Jingyu shouldn't come at Zhou that fast. Because Weizhou become unprepare for the kiss. He need to close his mouth waiting for the impact. If he open it. Two things might happen. His lips will get torn by his own teeth or it will be jingyu's from the clashing.. oh gosh where am I back to topic) . So I see WZ shilloute pulling Jingyu back to him and they continue to make out I believe. :D 

    Also when at shanghai fanmeet. He showed his dominant side by putting his hand on Huang jingyu neck or waist. Such a boyfriend gesture. Ruffling his hair.

    That's why for me this man will forever be

    Just like bai lou yin, even though he is matcho enough himself, he is willing to put aside his ego and let his dominant side rest when they are in the bed . Because it needs balance and someone should give in if they want something to be done. Lol.

    I really should be sleeping because I have to wake up in two hours...

    But, I just want to say that while there's no doubt that the gathering of the Addicted cast and crew was fateful and amazing, I think we are a rather fateful and amazing gathering of people as well. This thread has such a diverse group of people keeping it together, and yet we all mix so well. We come from various countries, speak different languages, and have various backgrounds. Each of us contribute to this thread in different ways, but not just via translations, updates, fanfics, etc. But through our individual unique personalities as well. It's been 700 pages and you have to admit, we're pretty amazing if we're still a calm and positive thread after everything we've had to go through (too much).

    I've heard (and seen) other threads, both international and Chinese, and the majority have gone completely insane by this point, and there's absolutely no order, positivity, or humor left in some. No one appreciates a "different" opinion and people insult each other at every turn when they disagree. I'm extremely glad and thankful that we're not like that, and continue to remain the way we are. I think what we have was and is possible mainly because we don't just view this thread as a place for updates and keeping up with the novel/series/actors, but also a place where we can share our coming out stories, wish each other good luck on tests and work, show concern for each other's health, remind each other to eat *cough*, vent our daily frustrations and even cry together if need be, and tease each other about having dirty minds while shamelessly sharing (and drooling over) our own fetishes. We're so much more than just a place for updates. I'm happy to have been here for so long, and I'm happy to see all the new members come out of lurking as well. Welcome! And, with this, I'm heading to bed to finally catch some sleep. Good night all ^_^

    I thought I would feel happy watching the MV because it has a kiss between HaiYin and other HaiYin moments, but I just feel bittersweet knowing that there isn't a continuation of this. We won't get the moments leading up to this or the moments after. Well, *sigh* at least I have the novel and my own written imagination. That'll have to do.

    On another note, I showered at 8PM, put on clothes and grabbed my wallet to head out to get my first meal of the day at 9PM - and 6 hours later I'm still starving and sitting here. Waiting. For absolutely nothing because it's over but for some reason I keep sitting here. I feel as if I so much as turn my head away, I'm going to miss something - which also makes absolutely no sense because it's over. Need to get used to it.

    Well, anyway, it's time to face the rainy streets of Seoul on the hunt for food if anything decent is even open at 3AM... :mellow:
