  1. BTS Launches Mental Health Initiative With UNICEF

#OnMyMind aims to support and improve the mental health of youth around the world.

It’s take two for BTS and UNICEF. The K-pop superstars and United Nations Children Fund announced the #OnMyMind initiative on Monday (April 22), the second chapter of their Love Myself campaign. The new initiative aims to improve and support the mental health of youth around the world.

To help kick off #OnMyMind, BTS, label Big Hit and UNICEF are offering those who wish to participate in the opportunity to send electronic postcards via the Korean Committee’s UNICEF website to share their stories, what’s on their minds, challenges they may be facing and more. These e-postcard submissions may then appear on the website’s gallery for others to view to help promote a sense of community and support.

BTS previously partnered with UNICEF in 2017 for its anti-violence campaign Love Myself — named after the global superstars’ album trilogy — to help make the world a safer place for children and teens, and for them to live happy lives without any fear of violence. To celebrate the initiative’s fifth anniversary in 2022, the septet — which is comprised of RM, V, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, Jung Kook and Jin — released a message for ARMY that November, urging them to continue to love themselves and to help each other do the same.

BTS ‘Monochrome’ Pop-Ups Coming to Los Angeles, Tokyo, Seoul, Bangkok, Jakarta and Manila

The shops will feature never-before-seen portraits, on-site events and "memory clouds."

A BTS pop-up shop is headed to a number of cities in Asia and to Los Angeles beginning later this month. The K-pop supergroup’s label Big Hit Music announced on Wednesday (April 17) that “Monochrome” will debut in the on-hiatus group’s hometown of Seoul, South Korea beginning on April 26 through May 12.

The event that Big Hit said will feature the theme “memory clouds,” will consist of “clouds containing memories of the time BTS and ARMY spent together,” presented inside bottles, according to JoongAng Daily. The stunt comes along with a delivery-themed website that allows fans to find out more details about the pop-up by completing a series of challenges while checking for “deliveries” by figuring out passcodes related to words and dates of significance to the group.

Oh c'mon chingu... :D Am sure a few of them hit your vibe check a little more than the others....?

Really, you can't make me choose 🤣 since each has his RAW stories especially the Raps one.  However, I'll highlight some of them.

1-3 The trilogy of course - he's a genius, a combination of traditional instruments with the current one. I'll bet that he'll be collecting sounds of other traditional instruments from other parts of the world too one day.  Amygdala made me cry a river when it came out and it still can.  Glad that finally he was able to open the door during his final concert in Seoul.

4, 5, 6, Love all the songs with him singing and playing the instruments 😍

7, 8, 9 We did expect him to invite the members to perform together.  JK talked about his performance that night, he's a perfectionist so he was not satisfied with it and told us on Weverse that he wished he could do it again.  If I'm not mistaken they talked about it on Suchwita.

    EXTRAs

7, 8, 9 - The encore however was not shown ... but he did cry during his finale performance and of course, we felt it too and cried with him.  He talked about it with IU on Suchwita.

Btw, I wanted to ask you. How do the lightsticks work? They kept changing colors. :D

😉 It was controlled by the organiser during the concert.  You just have to make sure that you linked your Army Bombs before the concert starts.

Aah ok, no cards or posters here. Which performance was your favorite btw?

    Standard answer, ALL. 😁

I was hoping they had written the translated lyrics too for non-ARMYs who accompanied the ARMYs to show the depth of his lyrics. However, at the same time it is also good because we can focus on him 100%.

BTS sets record in Japan with ‘Butter’

    20240412050603_0.jpg

BTS notched the No. 1 spot on Oricon’s five-year single ranking with its 2021 hit single, “Butter,” according to Big Hit Music on Friday.

The single claimed the top spot on the chart that spanned over five years of the country’s Reiwa era. In 2020, the group's “Dynamite” ranked No. 4 on the chart.

It is the first time ever for an international artist to top the periodic era ranking, the label added.

“Butter” made a hot-shot debut on Billboard’s Hot 100 and stayed atop the main singles chart for seven weeks before reclaiming the spot three more times. The summer song stayed on the chart for 23 weeks in a row.

The septet performed it at the 2022 Grammy Awards and the live performance made “The 30 Greatest Grammy Performances of All Time” list by Rolling Stone magazine last year.

@YongZura⁷ Thanks for the info! Did you already get tickets for tomorrow's D-Day concert?

Can't go myself even though it's playing in several theaters - as smth came up. Hopefully it will be available later through a streaming site.

Yes, I have the ticket for tonight although I did watch it before LIVE ...  There should be extra info into making it a movie.

I had to travel to watch it on IMAX to experience it and will go back home this Monday 😋
